Legacy of the Savage pt. 1 (P, IO, NK, Yaju)

Yaju had continued to look around the area in which he was already in, the dimly lit water being there only source of light in the whole cave which was odd although since he had his byakugan active it was not that big of a deal. Yaju came to a stop when he had seen what seemed like a table...this table had a strong and unnatural smell which he had no choice but to go and check it out. As he had gotten to the table he would run a finger across it not feeling anything but at the same time it felt weird to him," What is a table doing in such a secluded area...and what is this scent i am getting off of this table," at the same time he would look at the tables contents. It seemed stone in origin although it would have seemed to have some sort of etchings on it.

Luckily for him he could see what looked like a torch on the wall approximately ten meters from him which was a good thing. Walking over to it he would pull at the torch and to his dismay it would turn to the left and the room would soon be filled with light although this was just the first of bad things to come. On the side Yaju was currently checking on he would look back towards the table which had something that could not be read so he would stop with that idea, but as he went back to meet up with hunter he could hear the faint footsteps of something...inhuman. At first he would ignore it but soon it would become more apparent that this threat was something that was going to haunt both himself and Hunter.

The footsteps would begin to come in more numbers as soon multiple doors would open across the room to show what appeared to be either zombified ninja or something not of this world. So this is what the others were talking about... figures it would be this many, the numbers so far were in the fifties which would prove to be a little difficult for the two but he knew they could do it. Jumping over to hunter and chuckle," You said you wanted some training well here is plenty of it, although i do not know what these "things" are keep on your guard and make me proud," with a grin he would pull the Crescent Moon blade from its bandages and swing it around, slamming it onto the ground he would dash forward and make a lateral slash cleaving three of them into nothing, although as the bodies dropped two more would replace them.

This was making it a little interesting for him although he did not have the time at the moment to look back to see how Hunter was doing. A crowd of the unknown ninja would form around him and in his mind he wondered what kind of jutsu could do this to someone or better yet something. Whatever this was he would chuckle and twirl the large blade in the air as it began to crackle with lightning, as soon as the blade was fully charged he would slam it onto the ground causing a large wave of lighting to shoot forth and incinerate a large portion of the things. Unknown to Yaju that ten more had came out of nowhere as he killed fifteen of them, making him wonder what he should do to get rid of all of them.

Thinking of something he would begin to form the bird hand seal and channel it through his body at first and then through his fingers in which were holding the seal until he felt the surge of chakra swell in him, releasing it by thrusting his index and middle finger forward. The sharp concentration of lightning wasn't as strong as he would have thought but it had ripped through a couple of them. Yaju had now concentrated a large amount of chakra into his hands as he wave it in front of him, creating a large blade of wind to fly forward cutting into the zombies like a knife through a fresh cake. Yaju would turn around only momentarily to check on Hunter to see how he was combating this new enemy.

Hunter kept looking around, his eye still not feeling an better at this point. He looked as he found a wall that held a stench that could only be something dead and rotting. He was about to turn when all of a sudden the room was ablaze with light as he adjusted quickly. He turned to Sensei Yaju as he saw that he was examining a table of sorts.

"Good going Sen..." He began but was cut off as a tremor shook the room and then simultaneously a few of the walls slid back and what looked like dead ninja began to pour through the area. Hunter immedeately turned to the wall he was at and saw one lunge at him as he jumped back. "Shit! what was that?" Hunter asked as he activated his Shadow Wings and plucked a feather and watched as it turned into a blade. He held it out in front of him in a stance worthy of fighting as he sensed Sensei Yaju step beside him. "Nice of you to join me Sensei..." He began as Sensei Yaju laughed and explained that this was the training for the day. Hunter smirked as he saw Sensei Yaju leap out in front of him as he began to fight. "Well don't mind if I take my share too then Sensei." He said as he activated the Seal of the Crimson Fang as well as his Shadow Wings ability.

Without thinking he called on his Thunderflare ability "Raging Blitz" and infused his Shadow Feather sword with it as he swung out with the blade as the attack was enough to obliterate the front line in front of him before punching and kicking all around in a flurry of moves that ended with the destruction of 18 of the attackers as it seemed more just flooded out into the room.

"Shit...I knew training was going to be tough, but I never figured we would be going against the very myths of the Ravine itself...if that is the way it has to be though...so be it." HE said as he kept attacking with the blade as he noticed small cracks begining to form on the surface. He knew the Jutsu did not have much left so he used the power of the Tunderflare to perform a sweeping motion with his Shadow Feather sword taking out anything about 2 meters out. He then spread his wings as he used the Shadow Feather Kunai as all six flew he heard the feathers quickly bury into the walls as more of these seemingly undead ninja fell. He was holding his own now, but for how long. He did not have another eye to look back to Sensei Yaju to see how he was doing but he knew his Sensei would not go down without a fight. He paced himself even more as he delivered death dealing blows to the undead beings causing them to disentegrate into dust as he saw more pouring in. "SENSEI HOW THE FUCK DO WE STOP THIS!?" Hunter yelled

Yaju smiled as he threw his sword at full force through the zombies, the sword slicing through them and getting stuck into one which had been impaled into the wall and stopped moving soon after. Yaju was getting a little irritate on how to actually stop them so he decided to do something outrageous. Throwing off his jacket he would assume a fighting stance as the curse seal would activate sending him into his second form, the giant hands coming out and his skin returning to that dark grey skin and his eyes becoming black with the yellow slitted pupils as he chuckled as he bounced up and down," Oh yea it is on come on you fucking pieces of shit, i got all fucking day," laughing both hands would be covered in lightning as his right foot stomped into the ground literally making a crater, the lightning charging into his body.

Within seconds the only thing that could be seen was the countless bodies of the zombies flying into the air, hitting the walls and ceiling as Yaju stopped on the other side where his sword was currently laying. Landing onto its hilt he would look at the zombies that seemed like the numbers were decreasing bit by bit, but something was off. The holes that they came from were odd, something like cages or maybe they weren't being restrained only kept here for... at that moment Yaju had laughed and shook his head.

At the current time he could only count thirty or so near him and he would think of a way to take them all out in one fell swoop, the only way for him to do that however was risky at best although remembering the water he would chuckle and perform a set of hand seals and lunge his hand forward causing a large shark to be made from the lake and crash into the large group of zombies, causing them to crash into a nearby wall. As the small group was soon gone, Yaju would jump and put his jacket back on as he deactivated his curse seal, two clones popping up behind him.

He would soon use the same technique except with the sword as he cleaved the ones in his way that were blocking him from Hunter. Afterwards he would grab Hunter and dash to the exit," Were leaving, something else is coming and we are not going to be here for it, those clones there are going to blow this place to hell and back," his tone was serious as he crashed into the door that trapped them and basically smashed it to nothing.

Within moments the two would be out of the cave as a loud BOOM could be heard as the cave itself inwardly collapsed but that was not the least of their issues. A loud rumble could be heard as the rubble was pushed aside and soon a large...dead thing (don't know how to describe how fucking ugly this thing is) would appear out of nowhere. This thing looked like a giant although it might have been an experiment gone wrong, and now it was Yaju's and Hunter's problem. Sighing he would hold his sword in his left hand and his Geas Blades would soon appear on the left as he smiled," Well Hunter this is the last one, are you ready to get dirty," laughing as the curse seal would activate again and he took off into the air to combat the large beast.

Hunter was too busy fighting the creatures to give a care to what was going on all around him.  He was still keeping his own as it was the numbers that were getting overwhelming and not the strength.  These creatures had an odd composition about them, just stabbing them was not enough, but slicking them like cheese seemed to do the trick as Hunter showed no signs of slowing down as he kept destroying droves of the creatures.  He used his extreme power to jump as high as the ceiling would allow as he Used his Meteor Strike technique to decimate a large area just as he felt Sensei Yaju's Chakra change and explode out as he knew that he must have activated his Curse Mark to finish these bastards off quick which was a good thing, but Hunter noticed a new scent and Chakra presence.  He kept fighting as he looked around distracted.  Just as he caught a glimpse of something big under the water he felt hands on him.  Sensei Yaju had him by the shoulder and led him to the door which he destroyed as he raced out Hunter followed close behind.  As soon as they crossed the threshold back out of the caves there was a thunderous explosion that crumbled the system.

"Wha...what the hell was that in there Sensei...those looked like ninja, what did we just do..."  Hunter began but was cut short as the dust from the explosion cleared and a beast now stood outside the cave staring both of them down. Hunter knew that this would be a true test of skill...that THING or whatever it was survived a direct attack from Sensei Yaju, even though they were his clones the THING should be dead.  Hunter made sure his hidden blade was working right as he reached behind him and pulled out his Wakizashi from it's sheath.  "So Sensei Yaju, lets see which one of us can bring down the beast first? what do ya say?"  Hunter teased his Sensei as he got into a stance as he had the Wakzashi out and ready as his Shadow Wings powers activated along with the belt, and boots, and Crimson Fang Seal.  Hunter felt ready as the wind picked up.  He still only had the use of one eye, but it was ok...it was all he was going to need.  Hunter waited to see how his Sensei would react before charging head on into a battle that could very well kill one of them.  He heard Sensei Yaju ask if he was ready to get his hands dirty as Hunter simply smirked and looked to his Sensei and nodded.  His full power was just begining to awaken.

Hunter was just starting to speak his language, a bright smile came across his face as he stuck his larger blade into the ground and reached into his pouch to grab to claw like gauntlets and two foot arrangements that looked the same. Sliding them on he would hit a small button the inside of them to make the claws actually pop out. Smiling he would thrust into the air for a bit," i haven't used these in forever i forgot what it felt to be an actual wolf hahaha, well hunter here's the challenge first one to take it down doesn't have to buy dinner and explain this to Misaki," With no further words his form would become a blur and the ground below him would shatter as he flew into the air and at the large, colossal being in an attempt to get at one of its arms.

The claws themselves would begin to glow blue as he channeled his lightning chakra into them, lunging the left blade into its stomach on the left side digging the blades deep as his Geas blades plunged into the area around them, the blades themselves charging chakra into  them and blasting it out. Unfortunately for Yaju, the beast did not like that very well and swatted him away, sending him into the air and into a large rubble pile. With a large thud he would cough and laugh a bit as he chuckled," Oh yea you are definitely going down now.. bring it on bitch," Laughing as he made two clones and instructed one to stay out here.

The other clone and Yaju would would rush at the monsters mouth and smile," Open wide you abomination," laughing as he punched the mouth...rather through the mouth and into the monsters stomach...which was apart of the plan or so he thought. The other clone would fly near Hunter and smile," you better hurry or your chance is going to be gone," the clone would then fly at the beast and aim for its legs, making quick and precise cuts to slow the monster down. Meanwhile in the monsters stomach- Yaju was having a little fight of his own as the monster had some little friends rather the little zombified ninjas from the cave inside of it. Activating his Byakugan he would keep tabs on his clone so that the final part of the plan would go off without a hitch. As he fought the zombies, he would smile knowing that everything soon was about to get a little interesting.

After a couple of minutes of being in the monster he would nod to the clone who would fly high into the monsters throat, and Yaju who would be performing the substitution technique for the fireworks. The clone would be mid throat before violently exploding, sending a large rush of fire and explosion down the stomach but it would not stop there. As the explosion engulfed Yaju he would switch places with the clone on the outside causing a chain reaction and making that clone explode as well. An explosion on two fronts that made the beast rip into nothing dropping various parts of its body onto the ground, in a wet and splotchy kinda way.

Being covered in the monsters blood and some of the monsters guts, he would laugh and smile," know what...well make this tie...besides i am stinky and do not even want to talk about this at all so we will get rid of the remains and call it a day kay," laughing he would grab his blade and twirl it into the sky, striking the ground and causing a large surge of lightning to shoot forth making the corpse disappear quickly.

Hunter watched for a few minutes as Sensei Yaju put on some weird Gauntlets, yet he did not stop running at the beast.  He used Body Flicker to dodge the beasts giant swing of it's arm as he stuck his hidden blade into the beasts arm as the beast picked up its arm Hunter could tell that he was not yet noticed so he waited till he was at optimal height above the beast as it prepared to attack Sensei Yaju.  Hunter withdrew the blade from the flesh of the beast as he fell to its back where he used his Chakra to surface walk till he got to the beasts neck.  Using Rebellion he smiled and yelled out giving away his position.

"TASTE MY LIGHTNING FUCKER!"  As he infused Rebellion with Lightning Chakra as he embeded the blade into the beasts back with a sickening sound as he roared out forcing out more strength as he forced the blade deeper and deeper until he felt bone.  Hunter felt acomplished as he pulled the blade back out and Charged up his Raging Blitz attack as he Roared explosions rocked the area.  Hunter felt an explosion in the beast's throat he slammed the blade back down faster and harder than he had ever done as he heard bone crack and split as Lightning and Fire Chakra exploded and collided in the beast's body.  As he did the blade physically grew burning white hot as Hunter gave it one last throw as he felt and heard the blade pass right through the body of the beast.  Hunter was about to jump off the beast but was taken by surprise as the beast reached back and in Hunter's blind spot took him and tossed him into the forest hard as Hunter splintered trees  before skidding to a stop.

Hunter laid there as he finally came to his senses.  His head felt damp but warm so he deduced that he must be injured once again.  He stood up though and walked back to where he found Sensei Yaju standing triumphantly but covered in the blood of the beast.  He looked at Hunter and told him the bet is off due to the cirumstances.  Hunter laughed as he walked out and regained Rebellion and put it back in its harness.  He stood in front of Sensei Yaju as he bowed his head.  "Sensei...you are so much more powerful than me...exactly what do I need to do to gain the level of power you have.  I want to stand tall and be able to deliver the blows that you do so that I can make you proud to be your Legacy?" He asked and remained quiet as the blood soaked his bandages and dripped down into the ground.  Hunter wanted to do nothing more than lay down and just sleep, but he fought his body and did not even care about his own injuries.  He looked at the blood pooling under him...not wanting to worry about this anymore.

Yaju had sat his sword onto his back and smiled as hunter asked such a specific question although Yaju had the most simple of answers," I attained my skills, power, and abilities by killing the one that had made me into the monster i am today, but you do not need to go down the same path as i did instead you have to find a way for you to get stronger. I will be the pillar that pushes you to this state, but it is up to you to get here. I have no doubt you will become my legacy and continue fighting after i am long gone, but you have to one simple thing to do so- Live," Those were Yaju's only words to Hunter on that aspect although he could have said more to Hunter, but those words were all that he needed to hear at the moment. As Yaju looked up into the sky it was getting a bit cloudy so he had decided to look around for something to do. Looking amongst the bones and such of the now deceased monster he would go over and get one of the and inspect it carefully before grabbing another," This will be your first step, make a weapon of this bone...Know that this bone still retains the evil that was once its vessel and it is up to you to make a weapon that counterbalances this evil and allows you to use it. When you are finished making this blade, come to me and show it to me and we will see how you did okay," smiling he would throw the bone to Hunter and take one of his own, which he would be spending his own time forging his blade...although he was planning on giving up his crescent moon blade or perhaps just sitting at home, he had some fond memories of it, but he needed something a little..smaller so to speak.

Yaju had stood there for a moment and smiled before tying the bone to his back and looking around," Now what exactly can we do now since we had taken out that big ass thing... i am kinda hungry so lets head back and get something to eat eh?," snapping his fingers he would almost forget something," Go ahead and go to the resturant i need to head back to my place and get something before we begin to eat, i'll meet you there trust me," with that Yaju soon took off at full speed towards the mountains of Kumo to finish what he needed to do. As he ran he would wonder where exactly they were going to eat at, but at the moment he did not really care, he just wanted some food and a shower. Yaju's body would soon be out of view as he reared a corner and took to the skies with his wings, remembering what he had said to Hunter he wondered if he could actually do it, although he had no worries that he couldnt do it.

Hunter listened to all he had to say before he heard him stop and step away.  He began to shake a little...had the blood from his head wound finally overtake him, was he about to die, did he see that tunnel with a white light?  No...Hunter stood there for a minute and soaked up all the words Sensei Yaju had just spoken to him.  He was no longer interested in finding his power, he knew he had people that cared about him and wanted to see him succeed. He finally stood up as he heard Sensei Yaju yell for him.  He turned just in time to catch a rather large bone as it sailed towards him. As Hunter caught the bone Sensei Yaju picked up another before walking back towards him, and as he did he grabber Hunter's shoulder and told him that he was to make a weapon out of this bone to counter evil and ward off all that is evil.  Hunter saw the challenge given to him as an opprotunity to make something great out of something as simple as a monster bone, but it would have to wait.  Sensei Yaju declared he was hungry but needed to make a stop to his place before meeting with Hunter for dinner.  Hunter knew his scene must have been horrific so he agreed to meet him after he had cleaned up as well.

As they parted Hunter felt a new sense of determination and purpose as he soon returned home and went to the infirmary where he had his wounds adressed and was stripped down.  He told the medical ninja to hurry and that he would need everything delivered to his room as well.  After he was patched up he washed off all the grime and dirt before dressing in some comfortable casual wear before he grabbed his wallet and left for the Village as he was ready to have dinner with Sensei.  Besides, it would be cool to talk about the possible weapon he could make from the bone, even though Hunter had his mind pretty much set already which made him grin from ear to ear as he arrived to town.
