Shigemi groaned inwardly as Kenzo had managed to avoid eating dirt. He wanted to atleast score a point before Kenzo started holding back less.

No time to hesitate.

Shigemi gripped his right hand into a fist and thrust off the ground towards Kenzo. He had intended to keep the opponent on the back foot. With a roar, Shigemi made an effort to uppercut Kenzo with a strength of 4 and speed of 4.

Kenzo, having finally rose to a stand, looked towards the last position of Shigemi, but, if his eyes had not deceived him, Shigemi was again on the offensive.

Hasty...

Those words sounded off in Kenzo's head as Shigemi pushed off the ground. The assault was, above all else, launched in a desperate attempt to seize the moment as Shigemi had presumed the young Uchiha's eye be unsuspecting. Sadly, the was not the case. The eyes of Kenzo met Shigemi, whose right hand remained tightly curled into a ball. Kenzo's own left hand was raised fluently to impede the path of the incoming fist. Upon contact, each of Kenzo's fingers would shut around Shigemi's hand with a powerful grip to be noted. Kenzo would yank his own arm backwards, pulling Shigemi's arm as well. This would shift Shigemi's momentum completely, forcibly causing Shigemi to tilt or fall forward, or, at least, limiting Shigemi's options. In theory, falling backwards would become a dream unreachable, but their strength was evenly matched after all... at least for the moment. Kenzo's forward leap would not only serve to bring the two of them closer, for as Kenzo extended his left knee with notable form and grace, the true reasoning for his leap and pull would become clear. Now Kenzo's upper body soared forward with speeds matching Shigemi's. Kenzo knee, which was being brought forth with every intention of smashing into Shigemi's face, would have all the momentum of Shigemi's forward drift and Kenzo's forward leap backing it up, and if Kenzo's attack were to hit it's mark, knocking Shigemi backwards, Kenzo would land perfectly upon the dirt road, and quickly wipe the dirt off the front of his shirt and pants as he watched Shigemi. The most notable characteritic of the entire motion was the distance from Kenzo to the ground. There was little, as Kenzo intended to introduce his knee to Shigemi's face before Shigemi could even rise to a full stand.

Shigemi had expected Kenzo to react from his charge but not in this way. His eyes opened in surprise as he was suddenly pulled forward. In his vision, he saw a knee, bee lining straight for his face. With a grunt of effort, Shigemi rotated his body sideways as he was falling forward to save his face. The knee had just barely grazed his ear and proceeded to impact on Shigemi's shoulder.

"Urgh!"

The knee was solid and Shigemi could not help but grunt as he fell towards the ground. As soon as he landed, he replicated Kenzo's earlier action by rolling away and then rising to a stand. Shigemi rubbed his shoulder gingerly. He should have known this would happen. His offense was not as good as his defense.

Let's test it then, shall we? Kenzo indeed released Shigemi, and, upon landing, rotated immediately to face Shigemi again. Now Kenzo was the hasty one, for he wasted not a second in rushing towards Shigemi. Upon reaching a distance of about 2 meters from Shigemi, Kenzo extended his right arm across his body, and, upon taking a final step, that arm was swung through the air with every intention of smashing the back of Kenzo's knuckles against Shigemi's chest with a speed of 4, and a strength of 30. Kenzo, who stood under five feet, could barely reach Shigemi's head if he tried, aiming for Shigemi's chest was likely a better target than reaching up, and hoping Shigemi would not tilt his head backwards.

Our roles had reversed! HAHA! NOW! FOR THE KILL!

Shigemi smiled and his eyes glinted with a flash of red as he raise his hands quickly as he could to perform the hand seals. At this distance he would be able to use a jutsu he had been working on!

Horse → Tiger→ Ram or Tiger → Monkey → Boar → Horse → Tiger

"FIRE STYLE: GREAT FIREBALL JUTSU" roared Shigemi.

He had done as the Uchiha he had met earlier had said. He had channeled his anger and expelled chaos.
The bright ball of flame erupted in front of Shigemi and his eye's glowed with a maniac look. He had gone into "that"mode rather seamlessly and spewed flame with every intent of harming Kenzo.

Kenzo watches as those hands shifted through a number of handseals. At first, the Uchiha's irides had not fully registered the seals that were being formed before him, but, as he stared at Shigemi, the memory replayed in his head. Kenzo had not known the technique however, so he was unsure. The black of his irises faded to a deep red, leaving only a small amount of black in the shape of a single tomeo. This was the Sharingan. Kenzo analyzed the chakra, viewing the red hot chakra that spiraled through Shigemi's body. Yes this was it: The Fireball Jutsu. There was something bothering Kenzo; something no one would understand.

Not this time...

Words of Kenzo's mind. This was the last thing heard before the flames left Shigemi's lips. Kenzo was astonished that there were so many fire-style users in Konoha, but he was more amazed that these flames were rushing towards him. He could now have a second chance to redeem himself. Then Kenzo remembered his last encounter with the flames of another being. It was a horrible disgrace! A girl, though a goddess of fire, had managed to make Kenzo retreat from the heat...

"Not this time..."

Kenzo repeated as he continued to step towards the male who had released the torrent of fire. Never would Kenzo run from the flames again; not now... not ever! Kenzo was no coward! He was no layman to the flames as he had allowed them to dance upon he flesh on more than one occasion. With a belligerent war cry that made the crowd cheer, Kenzo lept forward into the flames with all his might! His clothing had been ignited. His skin scorched. Still, he continued onward, for he could not turn tail now!

"NOT THIS TIME!"

Just as the eyes of all around the two contenders had lost sight of Kenzo, Kenzo had lost himself in the flames. The child pyromaniac would, quite forcefully, smash into the man who blew the flames from his mouth, since Shigemi, much like everyone else would be unable to see Kenzo through the flames until the very last minute. This would bring force both males to the ground, at with point Kenzo's flaming body would shift into a straddling position before meeting Shegemi's face, one flaming punch after the other. Kenzo's flaming body would expose Shigemi to the fire as well, and, quite naturally, if all went as Kenzo imagined, the flames would spread onto Shigemi's flesh as well. Still, Kenzo mumbled to himself with every punch he sent towards Shigemi's face.

"Not this time... Not This time... Not this time... Not this time... Not this time... Not this time..."

What the hell!? How is he doing that?

Shigemi shook out of his frenzied state. This was a first. He could never stop his insanity midway during a battle. With out a moment lost, he formed hand seals as he began faltering from the use of the Great fireball technique. He had burned a great amount of chakra with that jutsu and the lack of the former had probably snapped him back. If this jutsu couldn't stop Kenzo, then what can? Water style? but Shigemi didn''t even possess water element.

Ram → Boar → Ox → Dog → Snake

After performing the hand seals quickly, he held the activation until the right moment. It was a few seconds before he realized he had been pinned on the ground. In panic, Shigemi activated his substitution jutsu. In the eyes of the crowd, it seemed like Shigemi had popped out of smoke 5 meters from where Kenzo(?) was.

"!"

Shigemi's eye's widened as he felt a familiar burning sensation. He look towards the source and realized his coat was on fire! Shigemi quickly took it off but still had serious burns along his arms. He was used to being burned so he was mentally prepared for the pain. It still hurt like crazy. With a dazy glance over Kenzo's direction, Shigemi shivered. He was really close to being roasted, by his own flames no less. Kenzo took the flames in stride. How did he do it? Shigemi mentally applauded the wooden log that took his place.

...

Kenzo was still burning.

"KENZO!" Shouted Shigemi in worry. This was supposed to be a "little spar", not a fight to the death. He wanted this fight to end. Shigemi didn't want to suffer fatal injuries or cause any either.

WHY DID I GO INSANE? I THOUGHT I HAD IT UNDER CONTROL!

"Hey you two," He pointed to a pair of frightened individuals, "Help me put the flames out!"

The two villagers complied immediately and brought two buckets of water. Shigemi unceremoniously dumped the water on Kenzo, clearing the flames.

Kenzo's figure seemed to remain in it's blazing state, even as the villagers made an attempt to douse his flames. The water seemed to simply evaporate upon touching the heated male. No average water could douse Kenzo's flames, for his body created them constantly. Flaming fists tore through pinned mark, maiming the wood with flames. Only after both the steam, and the smoke had fully dissipated would Kenzo rise to a stand. Any doujutsu user would've noticed the extremely thin layer of chakra that coated Kenzo's figure, but none other than Kenzo would know his secret, for it was hidden the moment he entered the flames. All at once, the flames would vanish from Kenzo's persona at his command, and he would rise to a stand. Ash littered his skin, temporarily fading his skin to the darkest of blacks. His lips remained slight parted as he panted with his hands resting on his knees.

"That was fun..."

Kenzo claimed before straightening his back, and leisurely clasping his hands behind his head.

"Whew..."

Kenzo said, continuing to breath heavily.

Shigemi could not believe his eyes. How was Kenzo okay after being enveloped in flames? These Uchiha were just amazing. What could they not do? He ran up to the Uchiha boy.

"Oh thank goodness! But how did you...uh...not get roasted alive?" Shigemi cursed himself for his choice of words.

It wasn't often that a magician told his secrets, and, like the magician Kenzo didn't know who he could trust with data on him. Not even Kenshin, Kenzo's brother knew much about Kenzo; then again, Kenzo had not a sufficient amount of info on Kenshin either. An attentive eye faded red back to black. With the loss of color came a loss in eyesight. Kenzo's eyes did not deteriorate; they returned normal. Kenzo lifted his left hand before gathering his wasted chakra once more, and converting it to Katon. His sleeve suddenly burst into flames, but this was not the power of the Uchiha Clan. This was Kenzo's power. A thin barrier, one that gave his hand a slightly reddish color, covered Kenzo's flesh, but that would be hidden behind the flames that danced upon Kenzo's skin.

"You mean this?"

Kenzo questioned. Though he had trust issues, Kenzo couldn't help but to demonstrate his Katon when asked to do so.
