Just another day [solo]

Arcanis took a day off of training. He had some work to do. He left his room in the morning after having breakfast and doing a quick 2 hour work out. He was headed for the market today. He needed to pick up a couple things. The first was a few plain rings. He found several that fit him but he was looking for something very specific. He finally found what he was looking for at one vendor. The rings were simple steel bands a half inch thick. Arcanis bought 4 rings making sure they all fit well. Arcanis took them back to his room and began the ritual of applying a jiso to the rings. He used his Jiso-Genju technique to apply a jiso to the inside of one of the bands.  Arcanis worked hard focusing on the small area of the inside of the band and it took him quiet a long time to get it right.

Finally Arcanis finished the first ring.  He was feeling a little hungry and a bit tired.  He would take a break to eat a bite and rest but he had to get back to work.  He started on the second ring.  this time the jiso he applied was the exit of the jiso on the other ring.  This took quiet alot of work surprisingly more than the first ring had.  The jiso had to be applied using his Ichmatsugan.  the first had needed it as well but this one took an even more accurate measurement such that the jiso was not embedded in the steel as well as such that the first jiso didn't create a sharp edge on the ring.  When he had finished Arcanis decided to wait till the next morning to finish the other two rings.

The next morning Arcanis rose early.  He had a lot he had to get done so he wanted to finish these rings as quickly as possible.  The first ring went quickly being he knew exactly what he was doing.  He made fewer mistakes and finished the ring in a matter of minutes.

The second ring he worked on proved even more difficult that the second ring he had constructed the day before.  The ring didn't seem to cooperat the same as the other had.  looking very closely with his ocular jutsu Arcanis realized a blemish in the steel.  Arcanis sighed.  It would be easier to go purchase a new ring without the defect than it would be to work around it.  Returning to the market arcanis purchased several new rings identical to the others just in case.  He returned to the room with 5 new steel rings.  He sat down regreting the loss of time and finished working on the ring.  He now had 2 pairs of rings the had connecting jiso.
