Snowball fight! (Open)

(Bad post, my computer is broken atm)

Rakka watched the two from Tenga head to one side, the new guy and Demetri to the other. She frowned as she realized the numbers were odd.
”Well, if any of the villagers I called for showed up, this would be much more exiting…” She muttered. She didn’t like the weak results she’d received, but maybe some people would show up late. Now, she was faced with the problem of choosing sides. Shinji and Daemon were staying grouped by village, it seemed, and the new guy was grouped with Demetri… She decided to mix the teams and ensure intervillageness or whatever the term was by going to the tenga side of the field. Not that she would actually know this, but it was probably for the better, as Demetri seemed to be having a hard time grasping the concept of Rakka being in charge of her own snowball fight that was being played in a field she created. Power does weird things to people’s minds, it seemed.
 
Once everyone was ready, Rakka decided not to keep people waiting with a stupid countdown or something.

”Ready…. Begin!” She would shout.

Shinji could not help, but quirk a single eyebrow at the rather vast array of replies to Rakka's declaration of the snowball fight. Though the kage was rather impressed in the confidence with which one of the people spoke. However, Shinji did not really have time to dwell on any of the nuances of someone's tone or any such thing. The Uzumaki, not really wanting to hear anymore, would leave right after hearing what Demetri had to say and walk towards his side. Naturally people were still talking, but the kag did not much care he was lost in his own thoughts. His thoughts were not on the frozen plains of Yukigakure, no. His mind was on a higher plane, the plane of space and time. That was one of the wonders of the human mind it seldom completely forgot something it had once learned. The trick was, simply, to remember, which was an exercise that Shinji was currently going through in his mind. Each principle one at a time, he went over each one mentally. Slowly at first, but with gaining momentum.

Alas, the kage's concentration was broken by the yelling of the blue haired girl, how irksome. What was even more irksome was that Shinji found that he had only taken a few steps and was still in the center of the 'battlefield'. Sighing the kage would move just as Rakka mentioned that the battle was to begin. Using his raw speed the kage would move behind the castle on the side he had indicated earlier. In moving Shinji kicked up a huge plume of snow high into the sky no doubt obscuring views of either side. Assuming nothing stopped him, Shinji would find himself behind the castle in a blur. He was not one for making the first move. Thus, Shinji would merely wait and see how one went about engaging in a so called 'snowball fight'. Tengakure was a bit scant on snow, so the kage was a bit in the dark on the whole thing.

Daemon walked with shinji, who was moving rather slowly at the time, when Rakka had decided to be on their side and yell out that the fight had begun. Daemon was not paying any real attention to what was being said at the time as none of it pertained to him at all right now. As shinji moved a plume of snow shot into the sky which Daemon used as a cover to make it to the other side of the castle where he crouched down behind the 'wall' that was made of snow forming a hand seal and gathering chakra. He had a small plan that might help not only him but his whole team out as well by using his Ice mastery skill that he had come up with. Chakra would flow into him as he sat their building up for a few minutes worth of ice formation.

Kaede felt out of his comfort zone. In a foreign land, doing foreign activities with foreigners. He had arrived at his own castle within a few seconds, and was now stationed on the makeshift battlements. In his hand was a snowball, which felt extremely cold on his bare hands. Wishing he had taken the time to buy a pair of gloves before venturing to this place he simply waited for something to happen. The announcement for the snowball fight began, and Kaede immediately noticed the two 'foes' out in the open of the field. Of course he threw the snowball in that general direction, he assumed this is how a snowball fight worked. Then a shower of snow filled the air, caused by the movement of one of the two. Said snow caused Kaede's vision of the two to become obscured and by the time it had fallen back to the ground the two were gone, likely safely within their castle. Kaede crouched down to pick up another snowball, and simply waited for the foes to come into his line of sight. He felt rather stupid by taking part in this, but he couldn't exactly back out now.

Demetri listened as Rakka spoke and watched as Shinji and the young boy made their way towards the castles slowly. He was in the castle made by Rakka with another person he did not know, which was none to comforting to him as a leader of the village who knew what the man might try to do to him. Watching still he noticed as Rakka made her way across the the battle field and to the castle with Shinji and the young boy. As Rakka said Begin He noticed as the man threw a snow ball which he had held in his hand at the two that were moving the slowest. The moment it left his hand how ever One of the two, whom Demetri suspected was Shinij giving his lager size, made a fast move causing Snow to shoot into the air and loosing track of both of them. Reaching down Demetri grabbed up a snow ball and watched while he formed it into something more befitting of a 'battle' the shape that he now held in his hand was one of a snow Kunai.

Peeking his head over the battlements of the castle Demetri looked for signs of movement from the other team and the moment one of them poked their head up he would throw the "kunai" at the middle of their, Demetri having taking precautions took into account of Hair color and youthfullness of the face so as not to hurt the young one if it was him who poked his head out, head at a speed of which would be just a single point under the speed that was needed for them to track so they would have time to move unless His partner in this fight did the same as he did from another angle to blind side them.

Rakka dashed towards the nearest wall as the fight began, people ducking for cover. Shinji disappeared from view for a moment, reappearing inside the castle, while Daemon did god knows what behind another wall. Can you get PTSD from a snowball fight? She made a quick set of hand signs behind the wall as the hiding with camouflage technique was activated, Rakka picking up two snowballs and hurling it at the general direction of the two opponents, advancing to the next wall slowly, trying to get the jump on the two of them. She would move from cover to cover, the flattened snow of the snowball field arena thing not making tracks, and muffling her footsteps as she approached. She was not aware if they had any chakra sensory techniques, but she didn’t doubt the mass of chakra would be concentrated by Shinji and Daemon, maybe enough so to make them ignore her.
 

She would advance to the bunker in the middle of the battlefield, hiding behind the wall, still a little over 50 meters away. From that vantage point, she would see what appeared to be a kunai fly out from the tower… was that Demetri? What was he thinking, this was a snowball fight! Some kind of hospitality he was showing, trying to murder their guests. Was he trying to kill Shinji?

Shinji was, naturally, the first to stick his head up on his side. Peaking from behind the castle he spied as there was an odd construct coming right towards his head. Rather uncertain on the protocol when battling a snow kunai the kage was puzzled yet he was able to track the snowball fairly easily, thus the kage did not move his head in the least. Instead he did what every sensible person would do: he shot a freaking chain from his forehead. Said chain moved straight towards the snow kunai and, assuming nothing odd happened, would cleave the snow construct and leave naught, but a flurry of snow coming at Shinji's face, which would gently flow around him causing the kage to blink. It was in this blink that the kage brought forth his Byakugan and three tome sharingan. Surely, these legendary doujutsu would give him an edge. Once the chain sheared the kunai apart it would seemingly turn to a light mist and be whisked away by the slight artic wind. Not wanting to simply sit there, upon finishing the aforementioned actions, the kage would dart back into the snow castle and start making a snowball. He would have his revenge on those snow flingers one way or another.....one way......or another......

Daemon smiled loosing him self in the fast paced action that was happening around him. One minute Rakka was there and she vanished Shinji had destroyed a snow kunai flying at him with a chakra chain from his head while Daemon himself still charged his chakra wanting to be able to perform a few actions that might help him take the lead in the first to hit someone with a snow ball. He could not see his oppenents and he hoped they could not see him he would keep his eyes peeled for anything that looked odd but there was nothing that he could do until he was done with this last bit of prepping.

Kaede found this all to be incredibly boring. Even if it had only been about five or six seconds since the battle had officially started, it still felt rather dull. He stood on the battlements, the other person on his team was about five or so metres away. Kaede knew that the foes were aware of where he was, as he had not moved since throwing the snowball. Moving now would risk being hit by a barrage of this incredibly cold snow. From the corner of his vision, he observed his team mate. They seemed to be holding something in their hands. Kaede frowned. A kunai? Kaede of course was curious about why the man was wielding such a weapon during the fight. He turned his head to the right, since the man was on his right of course. Kaede did not bother to act upon it, perhaps they were  simply using it as a means to scrape ice from the battlements? Such an implausible reason, yet Kaede stuck with it. That is, until the man threw the kunai. He saw it sail through the air, the target being the man known as Shinji, whom had just popped his head up over the battlements on his side. Kaede reacted as soon as the kunai left the man's hand. From his right shoulder, the one facing the man of course, three chains would be shot forth. If Kaede would have focused in on what Shinji's next actions were, he would have felt rather foolish. The kunai being destroyed so easily should have given the man a hint that it was not harmful at all. It was unfortunate then, that Kaede's focus was directly on the man who threw a potentially deadly attack. Kaede believed in the term 'an eye for an eye'. Confident in the fact that Shinji would be killed by the sneak attack the chains that were shot forth surged towards Dem's location. Travelling at a speed of 300, their movement would be untraceable by most parties present. Certainly, the speed would be too much for the man whom the attacks were aimed at to handle. The chains would arrive at their target destination within less than a second, at which point they would go to pierce straight through the man's body. One would aim to go through the man's head, set to pierce through the brain and travel through out the other side. If that chain alone hit, it would be enough to kill the man instantly. On the off chance they didn't, one chain would move down to the man's legs. From there it would pierce through the side of the man's legs, around the knee area. That chain too would continue forward, spearing through the other leg before coming out the other side. This served as a way to bind the man together somewhat, and prevent him from moving if he somehow miraculously dodged the head shot. The third chain would move to the man's hands, set to pierce through the back of the man's left hand before tugging it upwards, in order to prevent an attempt to use any hand seals. All of this took place within approximately a second, the snow kunai still being in mid-flight by the time it would have been over. The end result of all of this of course, should the actions go as stated above, then the man would be killed. And all of that because of a simple misunderstanding.

The chains were set in motion and if nothing stopped them then Demetri was set to die. The absurdity of being killed over a ninja mistaking snow for a kunai would seem make the said ninja look as if he had no brain at all but saying that about this ninja would be all but lie seeing as he took an opportunity and sent a cheap shot out at a village leader, one that would not be forgotten if Demetri was to surrive this, Other things had been set into motion at this point though and he was bound together hands unable to form a hand seal and legs unable to move with one other chain through his head as he was standing their virtually life less he looked at the man unable to conceive what amount of brain power this man had.
