Terrified and guilty

"I....um.... Wait really!?" She had said yes and begun jumping up and down and screaming yes before she even knew what was going on. In a flash she was hugging him again, tears if joy streaming down her face. Somewhere in the darkest reaches of her mind Selene face palmed. She knew what this would mean and while it was a brilliant strategy she knew the inevitability would be maku locking her to the village. She needed to see konoha, and Selene hoped she had expressed that fact. Only time would tell.

"Oh my god I have to go tell youka!!!!!!" Unless impeded she would rush out of the leaders chambers to find her other friend and tell him the good news

So, he had said these words, and continued to spin his char, listening to her squeals of delight.  Well that was a bit unorthodox, but no one deserved it more, and he needed a strong second in command and who better than her.  Maku began drawing up the paperwork and listing out her accomplishments to deserve such an honor.  First off, under Echo's watch along with Youka an himself she had completed a plethora of Iwagakure missions.  She had also accompanied Maku and Youka on several high profile missions as missing ninja.  She had assisted in the training of several genin and even one chunin while in Iwagakure, so Maku was confident she could help bring up the Yukigakure ninja to a strong fighting force.  He also thought back to how it had been Kira to watch over the gates in Iwagakure, sending the newcomers to Echo directly, and not allowing scum to walk around the village uninvited, so he was confident in her abilities to judge those entering the village when Maku himself could not.

Finally one of the most important things, was how powerful she had grown.  She was becoming or had already become an equal to himself and probably to Youka as well, if she didn't let him intimidate her.  Her strength was growing and he would dare anyone to challenge her for her spot.  In a village with so few ninja, and even fewer of power, he needed a strong right hand he could rely on when he need assistance in making decisions both political, and of battle.

Youka was also on his list for second in command of Yukigakure, but that guy would never settle down to live in a village, he enjoyed the heat of battle to much.  This would however place a stop to Kira's traveling, and cause her to stay within the walls of the village unless he saw fit to send her out.  So as it was, two birds.

Rank denied. Kira is a MN she can't jump to Jounin rank even if you don't have many ninja in the village. Kira will have to start in the village as a village nin equivalent to her rank and develop relations with the village as well as you Maku. Which means she would also have to do missions for Yuki's village to prosper and provide support. Jounin ranks are given to people who have led squads of ninja and done tasks of great importance. I suggest Kira starting as a genin in Yuki and working up just like any village nin would, not counting what she did in Iwa

Ruling accepted, I apologize if I offended or showed favoritism.  That wasn't my intent, I was just trying to act IC and give the people a different high rank nin to rp with to give them opportunities to grow and gain their own rank.

I see my mistake and will strive to do better by my people :) I love all of you equally and will do better by you.  I'm still fairly new so I will take this as a vaualable learning expierence

Her eyes grew wide as he spoke. She wanted more them anything to say yes, but she remembered the same conversation with the suiton user rokuro. Her eyes cast down to the ground as she stood pouting and silent. How do you tell one of your best friends no?

"I um.... Goddess I want to. But I could have family in konoha, kumo or ame. I have to check konoha and kumo and try and gain back my memory before I join a village. I'm really really sorry."

Maku was disappointed but he did not necessarily think she would accept.  Very well then, he had other matters to contend with like training up his own ninja so he could ideally have a number two in charge.  "Very well Kira, can't blame me for trying.  Well now tht this business is settled I have work to do, so I'll be seeing you later."

He wasn't very subtle with the dismissal, and he thought she might be a bit offended but the truth was he did have a lot of work to do, and Selene had given him a lot to think about.  In time he would try to think of a way to stop her, but outright deny her, no he would never do that.  Everyone walks there own path, and he was not one to stope fate.

"I.. Ok." She walked out with her head hung. It was clear she was very upset by the dismissal. Once she was out the door a tear slid down her cheek, but she never stopped walking, headed to the place she had been given to stay.
