This was by far the most annoying thing she had ever done. For some reason kira had decided since she wasn't buisy it would be an incredibly good idea to head over to the mission boards to assist Maku and collect some quick cash. In theory this was a fantastic plan but in practice she was stuck standing on a wall for god knows how long doing absolutely nothing. sure, she thought to herself, there was absolutely the potential that someone could try and take over the village and kill all of them. In truth however she doubted it severely. If someone attacked she wouldn't be able to do much and the chances of them even being able to get there before she was dead and the village was in ruins was probably impossible. She made her first round, walking slowly on the edge of the wall for no reason other then because she was bored and wanted to practice her balance. Nothing was going on, which made sense since it was around four o clock in the morning and no one in their right mind, except of course for the young konoichi who was walking back and forth in the freezing cold at the crack of dawn, would be out at this time of night much less trying to break through a gate. 

     Before she realized she had reached the end of the long walkway leading from one side of the gate to the other. It felt like just seconds ago she had left, except she knew how long it took her to travel the full distance and it absolutely was anything less then quick. She jumped into the air to do a back flip before landing with her feet balanced perfectly back on the edge of the wall and continued her rounds. meter after meter of the huge ice wall passed by her as she slowly walked it's length, keeping her eyes peeled as she had for the past few hours, for anyone that might be a trouble maker. She was frozen and iritable but thankfully her shift was finally over. She was more then half way through the final round of the walk after a remarkable amount of time spent talking to herself and complaining to no one in general and she was finally feeling hopeful. She turned her head and stopped to look over the wall after another twenty minutes of slowly dragging her heels and with no one in sight to challenge them she considered her shift done and headed back to bed.
