Shadows of the Sand

Koaru slept on the cave walls deep within the Sunagakure deserts. He wore a large straw hat and robes that protected his skin from the sun. He took long, bated breathes as the hot desert wind blew over him and echoed into the deep cave. The sound of Koaru's snoring reverberating throughout the cave made it seem like there was something hidden deeper within. Almost as if there was a demon sleeping deep within the boy.

As Austin was doing his daily adventuring he thought he would explore the cave. He's always seen the cave but never thought anything was in it so he decided he would finally set off and explore the inside.
Austin as soon as he stepped inside the cave heard some type of noise like some animal of some sort. Austin as cautious as he is puts his hand in his holster just incase it really was a animal and if it would attack.

Koaru stayed in his position, snoring loudly, when Austin entered through the cave entrance. Koaru's body was concealed by the shadows of the cave, which would explain why Austin had not noticed the boy at a first glance at the cave. With his straw hat bent slightly over his face, concealing his face, he stopped snoring the moment that Austin passed him. As Austin walked deeper into the cave, Koaru's eyes would follow him. Koaru could see that the boy was cautious from the way that he stood at the ready with his hand above his weapon holster. Koaru would decide to make his presence and location known by emitting a loud and rather obnoxious yawn.

"YaaaaAAAAaaaAAAaaaaaaaawwwwwwwnnnnnnnnnlsadjfsjfasdf"

Koaru would smack his lips several times while wiping the sleep from his eye. Koaru would stare at Austin in anticipation of his response.

When Austin heard the loud yawn he quickly turned around fast. Seeing it was only a person he was relieved but he kept his hand above his holster incase the person was a bandit. Austin keeps on stepping   backwards to make a good distance and with him in shadows if the person attacked austin only had to do his shadow jutsu. Hey who are you and why are you sleeping in a cave don't you live here? Says austin not knowing the person is from another village because he cant see his clothes hell he didn't even know what the person looked like.

Koaru kept his head low as Austin spoke. He pulled his right leg toward the center of his body, and used it as leverage to get up and stand on his feet. Koaru stood about 3 meters away from Austin, with the straw hat still covering his face. His long, black colored cloak, made it seem as if Koaru was the embodiment of all the shadows within the cave. Between Austin and Koaru, the differences in height would make it seem as if Koaru was towering over Austin. The konoha shinobi did not want to mince words, but opened his moth to speak with distaste in his voice. Unknown to Austin, he had just disrupted the most pleasant dream Koaru had ever experienced. He had single handedly defended every princess in the ninja world and accepted each and every one of their hands in marriage. The dream, however, was now forever lost in Koaru's subconscious thanks to Austin.


"A gentleman always introduces himself before asking such personal questions."


A kunai slithered down Koaru's sleeve and into his hand, with the tip of the knife jutting out from Koaru's black cloak. A single jade green eye could be seen from under the large straw hat, glaring straight at Austin.

Austin now seeing that the person was wanting a fight but as austin hears his voice he realizes he cant be a bandit if he talks about being a gentelman. Austin now taking his hand away from his holster says to the man. "The names austin, Austin Nara ti be exact and now about me wanting to know your name i said mine now whats yours" says austin with a tone of curiosity. Austin now trying to figure out what the man wanted and why he wanted a fight so Austin walks closer to the man with his body looking like he let down his guard when really he didn't.

In search of a friend, Kenzo traversed the desert skies, looking down from above. Just as his ears heard the snoring of a wild bear, his eyes saw a black figure enter the dark caves. Kenzo activated his sharingan behind those tinted sunglasses to better view the world unseen while suppressing his chakra signature and smells with the help of his Savar Suit and activating the camouflage technique to completely remove himself from the vision of ones eye. He was... undetectable, or so he thought, as he hovered into the cave entrance to stalk the one known as "Austin". 

Instead, Kenzo saw something completely unexpected. Koaru, a fellow Konoha shinobi was channeling chakra through the air, lifting a number of hidden weapons pointed towards "Austin". Could Koaru have simply been defending himself? No... It was made evident as Koaru began to yell that Koaru, for whatever reason, wasn't think correctly at the moment. Kenzo's position would suddenly change. (Speed 350) One moment he was floating in the air at the entrance to the cave, the next moment he was standing upon the ground behind Koaru. Though his chakra was still suppressed, Kenzo deactivated the Hiding in the Camouflage technique, allowing his black silhouette to blur into vision behind Koaru. Austin would see nothing except the tinted red glow of Kenzo's sharingan behind those sunglasses if he attempted to discern Kenzo's appearance through the darkness.

The raven-haired Uchiha was garbed in black, allowing his body to blend with the darkness and shadows. Kenzo's right hand would fall onto Koaru's left shoulder as Koaru finished the phrase "Your actions are...", and Kenzo calmly spoke. 

"Calm down loverboy."


Hopefully Koaru would recognized his voice, maybe that alone would be enough to stop a pointless death. Kenzo looked to Austin, staring into those pupils for any hint of fear. Was the boy afraid, wary, or completely unaware that he was about to be murdered?

With Austin looking straight at the man in the cloak he smirks directly at the man.  You do know why I did not go into the exams don't you. As Austin not knowing what he was doing and why he would do it takes out his dagger his dad has given him. And with Austin thinking about his family and about the good times they had together he activates his daggers effect giving him a speed boost of +10. And with the shadows all around the two of them Austin gets his hands ready in case he needs to do his shadow jutsu. With the weapons flying straight towards him at enormous speed and without thinking jumps to the left to try and dodge but with the weapons being cast he gets hit by a couple and scratched by alot pushigg him straight into the cave wall with the power the weapons had. Ow i didn't want to fight but you leave me no choice. As austin holds his dads kunai with the kunais ability activated gives him a speed of plus 10 and austin goes ro rush the man in the cloak.
