Naka ran he was late, his first day in the classroom since he failed last years exams and he is late. He burst through the door his sensei, Torii was already teaching but stopped as the door flew open showing the late Uchiha standing in the doorway. "Naka!! Go sit down your late and I am tired of it you did the same thing last year!" the sound of Torii's disappointed voice rang through his ears like canon fire. Naka lowered his head and walked to the back of the class and sat down listening to the chunin teacher as he began to teach, "So class let's talk about Chakra. Do you all know what it is?" Naka smiled and raise his hand, Torii allowed him to speak. "Chakra is the source of power we have in our body and can manifest into jutsu through handseals." Torii smiled and spoke more "Correct, but you better know considering this is your 2nd time taking my class Naka. Now Chakra lesson will begin for you and Naka, You better pay attention. Chakra comes from two places: One, the body energy inherent in the trillions of their cells and Two, the mental & spiritual energy gained from exercise and experience." Pausing to let the information sit in and then continuing "Now, to perform a jutsu, the ninja will bring out and release these two energies. The amount of chakra required for a technique will vary depending upon its size and complexity. Each ninja has the potential to better utilize an elemental Ninjutsu style." He then began writing the following on the board behind him,
Chakra flows through the body's chakra circulatory system. On a more microscopic level is these channels connecting all the vital points on the body. These small channel pathways travel between the cells of the body. They carry the generated chakra and allow the ninja to mold it. If these channels are severed, it is beyond the ability of even skilled medical ninja to repair. On the large scale the chakra circulatory system travels throughout the body and around the internal organs also responsible for creating chakra. This system includes 361 tenketsu, which are tiny pin points through which the chakra flows. The chakra flow can be increased or decreased by manipulating these tenketsu.
Naka began writing the notes down on the paper in front of him, but he was ready to leave and go home. "So I am sure by now you are all tired of writing but we still have class time, How about we head outside?" Everyone was excited and ran out the door and to the open training area made specifically for academy ninja. Naka walked behind them slower then the rest, but he entered along with them to hear his sensei's words. "Alright first lets see if any of you can actually access your chakra reserves." Naka was 8th person in line and he was waiting patiently the first academy student couldn't do the basic ninja skill and the 2nd could, the pattern continued and as it did leading up to Naka being the next one to perform the basic ability. He stood in the open designated area forming the tiger seal in front of his face, at least 2 inches in from his nose and then his eyes closed as he concentrated on the process of drawing forth chakra. His chakra was higher than the other academy students in his class, so as it grew the other children watched in awe of Naka's incredible ability for a simple academy student. Naka on the other hand failed to impress himself as he released the seal he was forming and walked away from the area where he had been told to preform such a task. Standing in the line with the other ninja who had taken their turn with trying the simple task, he waited until the final student finished and then they gathered around the teacher for their next set of instructions from Torii sensei. "So now that the class has showed their talents with using chakra let's move on to the taijutsu training, finding out who has physical strength. I want you all to run a mile, your land mark are the pond, ice sculpture, and the little snow covered bush over there you should pass these objects six times before you have completed your mile. Now..... BEGIN!" Naka began running one boy ahead of him kept Naka determined to run longer than him and to be able to keep steady and possibly pass his fellow ninja in training. The first landmark passed him it was the little frozen fish pond, he looked into it seeing a frozen koi fish. He wondered who would do that to an animal, he then continued running the boy in front of him keeping his pace Naka angered by being out done increased his speed, but that was not enough so he attempted to try something. He signed the tiger seal and pushed chakra to his feet but it back fired knocking him to the ground, he was passed by the majority of the ninja in his fellow class. He got himself to his feet and began running once more, he continued to run catching up to his original location in the line of ninja. He had been running quite the distance passing the objects as directed but when he finally caught the boy ahead he looked at the sculpture, it was a shinobi but who was it Naka wondered as he studied the figure of a man closely. Naka finished his mile standing next to the ninja he had be tailing the entire run, he was disappointed by his in ability to surpass the boy. An out burst from Naka by the disappointment came forth "I am an Uchiha! The Elite shinobi clan! I am not supposed to be this terrible at the art of being a ninja!" Naka turned and went back to the classroom alone. Time passed and Torii sensei entered he walked over to little Naka and without a word being said he placed his hand on Naka's shoulder speaking calmly, "I know you, your not like this Naka. I know your parents are gone, I understand life is hard but I promise you it will get easier if you apply yourself and stop putting yourself down. Now go home today's school time is over." a smile went across Torii's face as Naka lifted his head and headed out seeming like he was happier than when he had first entered the room. Naka exited the building and headed home his mind full of a positive outlook hopefully he would be able to grow in his experiences.
