Re: Rage filled youth

Taios watched as the man finished his experiment and was able to create an almost harmonious tune with the woman’s vocal cords. Indeed it was a marvelous sound, one that he could almost get used to. It had a nice beat, and if you nodded your head, and formed your own words it sort of sounded like, stayin alive stayin alive ooh ooh ooh stayin alive. Or perhaps that was his own imagination working with sounds put off by the female. He continued to listen on as Shouten spoke on the arts of medical ninjutsu, and taios could not help but to agree. He indeed did not have the steady hand nor the patience to work on such a technical skill at the moment. His own rage prevented him from being able to maintain such a steady hand as needed. He would indeed temper patience, and force himself to wait. In time he would revisit such a skill, however until that time he would focus on ninjutsu as his only passion. He would watch as Shouten made hands appear from his back and mold two hand seals. TO Taios amazement the very shadows seemed to slither to life before his very eyes.
As he watched they moved and manipulated objects around him. How shadows could be made so solid, he had never before seen such a thing. The name Nara clan held a faint tone of remembrance from his studies in the academy. However overall he knew very little of the clan. Their jutsu would most likely better serve himself than that of their own clan members. He would be able to do more with them. Memorizing the hand seals that had been made, he would wait before Shouten was finished with his actions. Once done, Taios gave it a try himself. He made the hand seals and released them, attempting to move his chakra into the shadows, only to have nothing happen at all. What had gone wrong, he thought and looked back at how his mentor had performed such a jutsu. He would relize that he had not released the last hand seal, therefore perhaps it must be held. In this way he could continue the stream of chakra into the shadows, thus the circuit would be unbroken allowing the continuous manipulation of the shadows. Already the thoughts of how this jutsu could be used also rang clear in his head. As these thoughts passed through his mind’s eye, Taios once again made two hand seals to attempt the jutsu again.
Once done, the jutsu was actually able to be formulated, though the tendrils lacked the solidity that Shoutens had had. He could also only form 2 tendrils. All the same he moved them and attempted to move objects around. He would try to pick up different utensils around the lab, but found only the smallest of objects were maneuvered. It was the finesse portion of the jutsu that was limiting his abilities. Taios had no problem with the lava release armor, or the great fire annihilation; however that was due to the lack of precision it required. Both jutsu simply required a release of a great amount of chakra. Now though, he was being forced to manipulate it, and be cautious with it’s movements. Releasing the jutsu, he would regather himself and set out to perform it again in a more solid way. Closing his eyes, he imagined exactly what he wanted to happen, and then made the hand seals to make it so. This time the tendrils came out more solid, and the ends actually resembled that of a sharpened spear. Moving the tendrils around this time, he was able to actually move several objects and even fully lift a chair. While a small feat indeed, it was still the beginning of what would be an interesting endeavor.
Continuing to practice with the jutsu, he began to feel more and more confident with it and his abilities with the jutsu, so he began to plan his strategies with it. The first and foremost was the additional field precense. Taios while strong lacked speed that many other shinobi seemed to find so easy. Because of this the ability to use these threads all around him, he would have greater chance to ensnare victims that moved around him. Once ensnared he would be able to do whatever he needed done. Of course with his large fire jutsu anyone captured inside of the shadows would soon find themselves with a face full of flames. Also the Lava release armor would be useful in this regard, as his mere presence near a foe would be enough to burn through many enemies. He continued to exercise the limits of these shadows, and increase the number he could perform. The more he could make the better after all. At the moment his limit was 4, however he would see the number rise, along with his potential fortunes. Increasing his chakra control and power he continued to focus on the task. He briefly wondered, it must be boring for Shouten to simply stand and watch, or perhaps the man was judging Taios even now, in which case, he should try harder. This was the only man that Taios wished to impress, to prove his worth was his only goal.
The session lasted for another ten minutes, and already 8 sewing threads could be performed. Taios had gathered more and more chakra, and felt stronger the longer he went on. He knew he needed this skill, and perhaps it was that purpose that caused him to move with such deadly purpose. In an attempt to show even more prowess with his abilities to reach across the battlefield, Taios activated his version 1 bijuu cloak. In this form he could maintain his own will, and exercise it over the Yonbi’s preventing himself from being controlled by the great beast. The red cloak would swirl around him before taking hold with all four tails prominently behind him. In this way not only did he create 8 shadow sewing needles, but he also created 4 chakra arms form the cloak to be manipulated at his own speed. In this way he had 12 different appendages swirling around the room, manipulating objects, performing slight feints, dips and dives related to different combat practices. The strategy would be well used in the heat of battle, especially if faced with multiple foes when he was alone. Once again his mind drifted to his siblings. He had not seen them in some time and he would be interested to show them this new power, in a fatal sort of way. Or perhaps this man that stood next to him had plans for them as well. After all he had allowed them to live just as he had allowed Taios a rebirth in blood, along with his siblings.
The shadows continued to lunge along with the bestial cloak. He could even hide the shadows with the chakra appendages, releasing the shadows at odd angles for hidden strikes and sneak attacks. Taios mind was filled with ecstasy at his success. He had only been able o fight with his bare fists to this point, and now he was able to release a multitude of strikes. Unfortunately the lab was to small for the use of any of his fire style ninjutsu to be effective for training purposes. He doubted very much Shouten would appreciate him burning down one of his labs after he had just performed an experiment. Speaking of experiments, Taios remembered his little kidney bean. Moving the arms and shadow stitches, he would lift his puppy and toss him to and fro playing with the spliced creation. It was indeed fun, and the little creature barked with joy and wagged its weird little mutated body with excitement. While to an untrained eye it would appear that Taios was simply playing with the dog, a true observer who paid attention would see that it was more than that. Anyone can be a maul, but Taios was practing to be an axe. Instead of all force, he would see more finesse involved, since it was what he lacked the most.
Once he had worn the little kidney bean out, he would set the creature down and allow it time to rest. He had to be careful, it was his first ever real gift and he didn’t want it ruined. Besides it would be an excellent guard dog. Not because of its ferocity, but because it would surely confuse an intruder so much, Taios would have time to arrive on scene. Once the beast was sat down, Taios removed his cloak and withdrew the shadows to return to him. Releasing on the jutsu he wiped the sweat from his brow, and took a deep inhalation. He was feeling proud, but he still had a few more things he wished to accomplish with this jutsu that had so generously been taught to him. Breathing in for a deep moment, Taios rapid fired his hand seals and realsed the shadows out. 8 tendrils shot straight out from in front of him to form an 8 pronged pincer strike that would surely skewer any fool that tried to rush him speed blitzing his location. Letting the shadows returned, he would repeat the action only instead of straight on, he would have them fire out in a more circular way to protect himself from multiple angles at the same time. Quickly he had went from a novice in the art, to no master but at least an adept. While Taios liked to think it was his own natural skill, something had to be said for the entity that resided inside his body. He had always had an easier time picking up jutsu than his siblings, and perhaps the influx of chakra form the beast was what led this to be so.
Retracting the shadows he would look at Shouten and speak. “A useful skill, one to be coveted and used against our foes. Is there more like this one that can be taught to me. To capture my foes and bring them closer to my body. As I showed you my lava armor is incredibly powerful, and to bring a foe to meet me head on would inevitably lead me to victory. At least, that is the plan.” He would watch Shouten to gauge any reaction. He also didn’t want to press his luck by trying to press his new teacher to hard. He didn’t want to over stay his welcome, however now that he was here; he sought more power and guidance. This is what he had been searching for, and in it he found a release for his rage. Already he could think clearer, and was more focused. A dull knife that send wide gouges into the rock, now sharpened making defined and practiced cuts. He would continue to watch the man, and await an appropriate response. Either way, he had one more question that had to be asked. He hoped to learn more in the ways of this style of jutsu, but this question overtook even that.
“You let my siblings live those days gone by, when you changed the course of our history. Why? My sister choose no repentance and remained as she was before the events. My brother stayed silent and weak, unable to find his own strength from hell. Will they continue to be apart of the Funkagakure military, and if so in what capacity, if I may be so bold?” He had finally broached the subject that had been eating at him all this time. He would finally know why they had been spared and if he were to see them again. Of course it was all assuming Shouten would agree to letting the information out. As long as he didn’t do something like assign all three onto the same team, then whatever his answer Taios was sure he could handle the outcome.

During the course of the boys training Shouten observes casually, upon his back a single eye forms so he can get a rear view of his training. It's slow, but he is gradually progressing. While waiting on the boy to perfect the jutsu Shouten lashes his left arm forward, pulling forth a corpse from one of the lockers, laying it upon the table where the woman once was, this one being a middle aged man, looking to be some form of business tycoon by his fancy dress. "You're getting better, I have more I can teach you but I wanted to see how you handled that one first, it requires moderate control but is more destruction. If you're wanting something to get people up close without worrying about getting attacked back then try this.." His elongated arm tosses the man he just prepared off the table, seals preformed during his time in the air as just before he hits the ground their shadows connect, the mans body becoming stiff and standing on its own, the line of shadows between the two visible. Shouten raises his right arm, the corpse does so as well, same with his left, a few steps forward, and a few steps back, the corpse mimics him perfectly. "This is another one of their jutsu, used to snare the target and force them to mimic your movements, with you having the Yonbi that gives you advantage, people can't preform your jutsu, or use your cloak, so they can't copy you correctly and are left to your mercy, only able to watch.." The shadows separate from the corpse, having it fall, it being left so the boy can try if he so wishes, the man now sitting upon the medical table with his third eye compressing into him. If the boy proceeds to ask his question then Shouten thinks on it, his expressions fading as one can tell for this brief moment, he is deep in thought and gathering his words. "I wanted to see what would happen when push came to shove, people by nature are either strong or weak, you can only tell this truly when you rip everything away from them, and see if they have the strength to carry on. If they have your blood then they might possibly have a chance, I intend to mold all three of you if possible into my own personal faction, it's hard to find killed youths now a days. I'll gauge them myself tomorrow, I want all three of you to meet me at the training pits tomorrow, I'll be testing you three personally to see your fate in Funkagakure no Sato." The man says, his right leg crossed over his left as he crosses his arm, watching the boy for his response and also to see if he is practicing.

Taios watched Shouten and waited to hear an answer to his question on his family. At first however, he performed another shadow jutsu that, Maku had never seen. As the cadaver moved lifelessly across the air, only to be trapped by Shouten’s shadow. Taios watched as the lifeless body mimicked his actions and Shouten was granted complete control over the body. His eyes widened as the possibilities spread before him, only to be increased further at the acknowledgment of the unique abilities of Taios. The Yonbi granted him power that a normal ninja wouldn’t have, and the ability to avoid being copied while moving a body closer to him would almost insure victory. At least against a common foe. Once again, his lava armor came to mind as his most valuable weapon with this. Taios knew he was not a very fast ninja, especially by today’s ninja standards, so any ability to trap and bring enemies closer would be greatly appreciated. The thought to bring his victim closer, unable to fight back until the fire of his rage melted away all their hope was intoxicating. He drank in the horror of what he would be able to do like a strong drink, and sought to refill his glass with more.
Taios listened to the rational from Shouten on the events that transpired with his family. He was not as confident that his siblings had the capability to rise the same way he had. His sister from being so weak, she was clueless in this life more than anyone he had ever met. As for his brother, he had potential however he was more of a child that Taios had ever been. Perhaps he could cast out childish things and rise from the darkness to become as Taios was, but only time would tell. “Very well sir, I will find them and take them to the training pits. I look forward to the challenge.” It wasn’t completely true. He didn’t feel like he needed his siblings to be deadly and useful, and in fact felt he could perform better alone. However, he had been blessed many times by the dark lord in front of him, so he would continue to have faith in his sadistic savior. Besides, Taios had an ally in every battle in the Yonbi, however he was not as willing to assist him at the moment. Soon though, soon he would cause it to bend to his will.
However, now was the moment to train and gain strength, not chatting like a girl from Konoha. Taios used the basic concept of the shadow sewing technique to initiate this new jutsu of his. He already had the basics to move his shadow at will, so now he would instead of rising it from the ground, keep it flat. Moving it out towards the cadaver, it would make contact with the shadow of the corpse, as it lay spread eagle on the ground. Once the shadow connected, Taios focused his chakra, to bring the body up and standing up right. Immediately the corpse shot up to attention mirroring the straight back posture that Taios always stood in. Rising his left hand to his chest, palm down he watched as the cadaver mirrored his actions. Taios then bent low in a crouch, and watched as the body did the same. These of course were simple movements, and Taios didn’t want the simple. So it was time to begin testing more gross motor movements, and complex motions. If the cadaver could follow those, then truly this jutsu could be feared. This Nara clan, their secrets made them targets. Taios made a promise to himself in that moment, he would kill any Nara he saw, keep the secrets more secret, then this would be all the more powerful.
Bending his legs, Taios leaped into the air, and to his surprise watched as the body did the same. Once this was done, Taios performed several more complex taijutsu maneuvers. The body continued to move in perfect mimicry. Looking around the body, he saw another body laying on the ground in the corner. Most likely a discarded experiment not even worth spare parts. The thought occurred to him, that grabbing multiple people at the same time could be valuable. Sending out another shadow, he grabbed that body as well, and it moved to mimic his actions. Satisfeid he began to walk towards the center of the two bodies, and watched as the bodies moved towards him as well. Each step brought them closer and closer to him. As he approached, and was within 3 feet of both bodies, Taios turned to face Shouten. His hands at his side, and a calm look on his face. He had seen true power, and had added some serious skills to his own self. Now he would show something he could do that others could not.
Once again, Taios activated his cloak and sent 4 chakra arms through the bodies of both the bodies, destroying them completely. He then had them rip back through the bodies completely disemboweling the bodies and removing all their internal organs. Letting the shadows end, and the cloak vanish the bodies would fall behind him. Taios loved power, and with the bijuu at his disposal, he saw to it that he used its powers whenever possible. This served a duel purpose. Taios knew the beast wished to corrupt him, and because of that he attempted to show dominance over it as often as possible. Until he could defeat the beast in true terms, he would settle with these smaller victories. Walking back towards Shouten, he stood in front of the man who sat in such relaxed tones. “Thank you, master is there more you can teach me. My thirst for these powers I fear is insatiable, and I will always crave more, and as much as you can provide me with.” Taios would wait and see what his master would say. Which reminded him, at some point he was going to have to ask him his real name.

The man hears the boys thirst for knowledge, he chuckles slightly to himself, feeling the flux of energy coming from the Bijuu, he found a rather interesting puppet. "Work on what I taught you already, when I meet up with you and your siblings tomorrow, I'll have much more for you three to learn, if you surprise me I'll get you something special." The man says with a smirk, to make sure the boy knows he isn't bluffing about his power he begins to truly show it off. His right hand pushes up his classes to be resting in his hair, his once natural crimson eyes manifesting the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan state, his chakra flaring as he preforms his atavism to bolster it further, the entire room starting to shake from his power, chains emerge from his back along with spiked tendrils that hover around him. "If you could, shut the door on your way out", the man says with his smirk still upon his face as he watches to see if the boy leaves so he can get back to his experiments and prepare something for what might be his new squad.

Being dismissed when he was in the throws of practice was not what Taios had wanted, he felt his jaw clutch, and even the Bijuu inside of him roared, DISMISSED LIKE COMMON TRASH, IS THAT WHAT HE THINKS OF YOU, IS THAT HOW YOU WILL BE SEEN!. The voice roared through his mind, echoing. The Yonbi egged him on, asking him to fight. However Taios stayed motionless watching as Shouten revealed his powers. The glasses moved, and those crimson eyes pierced through him. A darkened messiah stood in front of Taios, a dark god whose vileness far from repulsed Taios, but instead only brought an unholy awe. For the briefest of moments in his mind he saw the cloak covering his body, chakra appendages ripping from his flesh to attack this man, and attempt to show how powerful he was.
However, the moment passed, and instead Taios nodded. "Until tomorrow." was his only words. Taios had vowed to be a gladiator of Funakagakure, and like all gladiators he knew himself to be a slave. Until he had the powers to stand alone and fight this man in single contest, he would obey orders and commands as they were given. He turned and would ascend the steps grabbing bean on his way out. A man exiting hell after speaking with the devil, he would walk through the trap door and exit the orphanage with his new pet. He got a glimpse of the power that this man had, and while it would bring many to their knees in terror, it pushed Taios to stand taller. He wished for everything the man had and more. In time, he would have such power, he would take it from those who had it, and make it his own. However, for now he had a job to do. Gather his siblings and form them up in the training pit, alive preferably, though knowing his sister that might be a challenge. However, if she proved as inept as he believed, he thought while using his new control over the shadows to play with bean, perhaps he would get an organ monkey to go along with bean.

The man watches the boy leave, lowering his power level down to the point its suppressed so it feels like he vanished from this lab, he goes back to work on his experiments.
