Just a "normal" day

Humming a tune, tossing a rock up and down in the air, Ryusei walked into the training grounds, looking at the morning sky with an enthusiastic grin, his spiky hair waving in the gentle wind. He tripped over a root, and recovered, feeling stronger already. The rock he had been tossing fell and hit him on the head. He rubbed his head ruefully, and figured that he should look where he is going, or perhaps his method of walking such that he would step onto objects as opposed to tripping on them.

Looking down from the sky, he saw a lone figure in the training fields. "Hey, looks like someone else went for a morning stroll too."

He would approach closer, and call out to the other figure "Heya, how's it going? Never seen you around before, but then I'm new around these parts!"

He would flash a grin and introduce himself. Assuming he was not attacked, teleported into some other dimension, or victim to some other event that would inhibit him, he would offer to train with the other person.

Ryusei barely saw a flicker of movement towards his face and tried to raise his arms to try to block, and went reeling from the impact. A kick from behind sent him flying... "WAAAAAAaaaaaaaahhhhhhh..."

Seeing a hole open up, probably the other boy's doing, Ryusei had an idea. He began waving hand seals, keeping his body between his hand the sight of the other boy. He curled his body to try to look like he was attempting to roll upon impact, which would definitely hurt. As the hole opened up, Ryusei saw the side of the yawning pit rush towards him, and he bumped into the wall, slowing his descent a little, attempting to dig into the packed ground. If he was unable to dig into the wall, he would start trying to dig into the ground at the base of the hole instead, as fast as possible. There was no telling whether the opponent would catch up or was confident he would land, painfully.

Ryusei dug around the pit towards the presence he could sense above, which he assumed was the other boy. Stopping about 10 meters away, Ryusei would use his moving earth core jutsu to sink as large a hole as he could, centered on the other boy (who was awfully strong). If he succeeded he would dig towards the edge of the hole, grab 3 shuriken and 2 kunai, and burst out screaming "GERONIMOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!", hurling his shuriken at the target. If for some reason he was not abel to catch the other buy in the hole, he would draw pursue, drawing a shuriken when able.

Kenshin would feel the ground begin to sink as he stood upon his tree branch and without a moment of hesitation he would leap far from the edge of the pit that was forming to assure he would not be forced into it somehow. His katana held firmly within his right hand he would look around quickly to find his opponent and witness him burst from the ground. A dumbfounded look upon his face as the boy screamed something he couldn't fully even understand he would raise his katana and begin using it flat side to begin blocking the incoming projectiles with little difficulty. Catching the final deflected shuriken with his left hand he would stare directly at the boy. Considering he actually thought a direct attack with weapons would be effective Kenshin could not help but begin thinking Ryu was not the brightest of shinobi. Having effectively repelled the shuriken and seeing how Ryu was now out in the open he would simply move towards him once again at an intense speed and toss the shuriken in his left hand towards the boys neck to try and force him to move and thus not have solid fotting and be open to attack. Hoping Ryu dodged he would simply rush into him to send a knee towards his chin and without slowing down and as his own body raised into the air he twirled around to send a powerful kick into Ryu's chest using his other leg. Landing back on the ground he crouched down low and lurched upwards raising his left leg vertically to strike Ryu under his chin and send him hurdling into the sky with an impressive display of strength and speed (kick has total of 51 strength and 55 speed) likely enough to daze him for an extended period of time if not knock him unconscious immediately. Kenshin did not wish to severely injure this assumed konoha shinobi so instead of continuing his assault he would simply wait for Ryu to come crashing into the ground and slowly walk over to him to see if he was unconscious. If he wasn't he would simply stare down at him for several seconds before he spoke "You need a lot of work kid. So whats your name?". An obvious expression of pity on his face he did not seem fully accepting of his win as it wasn't even a fair battle to begin with. After speaking his words he would simply sit next to the boy and wait for a response, even if that turned out to be the spewing of hatred for him. His long black cloak flapping slightly in the wind, his onyx eyes obviously visible under his long black hair as well as a large uchiha clan crest on the back of his cloak if the boy ever bothered to look later on.

Ryusei saw the other boy's hand catch the shuriken and cursed, seeing the katana. He instinctively brought up his kunai to try to block the shuriken when he saw the arm make a throwing motion, dodging to the right as he did so, as fast as he could. Assuming he did not get his neck sliced severely enough to do significant damage, he would attempt to backpedal. If he got hit by the other boy (monster more like), he would try to throw his kunai at the opponent, if he could maintain consciousness.

If he got knocked silly, and blacked out, he would wake up after a short period, rub his head ruefully. If the opponent was still around, he would tell him "ouch. that really, really hurt, you are much better than you look. I'm Ryusei, what's your name?" he would attempt to shake the other ninja's hand. "I'm new in these parts, only recently became a genin. Looks like it is hardly the same for you!" He would burst into pleasant laughter, punctuated by painful sounding coughing.
