Still a little shaky from destroyng Youka's lab, Maku made his way through the boarders and wandered towards his goal. He had told Youka he was going to Shima, and he would meet up with him at a later date. However, he wasn't sure what he would find as of yet. Indeed he wasn't even sure if this trip would be worth the energy but at least it was getting him out and doing something. It had been a long time since Maku had traveled solo to anywhere. It reminded him of when he first left Taki all that time ago.
As he considered all this the ground continued to pass beneath his feet. He met several other travelers along the way. He ended up having a disagreement with a pig famer, a scandolous midnight randevou with a merchants daughter, and had won and lost a sum of no less than 50,000 Ryo in several back barroom card games. All in all a pretty decent trip. Soon the landscape would break and a smell of salt assaulted his nostrils as the coast line opened up. The waters leaped against the sand, however there was no port or town to be scene. "Damn knew I shouldn't have traded my map for that muffin". Maku muttered to himself as he tossed a wrapper over his shoulder. Making some hand seals he burned the wrapper with a fireball, cause after all littering was bad. Readjusting his pack on his back, he continued down the coast, surely he wasn't to far off.
