A quick errand

Happily Coco made her way down the streets of Amegakure. The rain was only a slight drizzle tonight, and better yet the stranger had finally left the city. Under the safety of her fat yellow umbrella Coco clutched the order against her chest. A favor for the Amekage himself! Sure at first it's a job picking up party favors then it's being his personal assassin, and next thing you know Coco's leading the entire village! Well she could dream.

Her yellow rain boots squeaked happily as she made her way down the slightly flooded streets of her home. Party supplies weren't far, and now that the strange had left the village the streets should be pretty safe. It's easy to have safe streets when most of the city is abandoned. The biggest worries now a days were rabid cat's. And of course when a ninja from an outside land visited, everyone went under ground.
However they'd survived yet another survey, and it was worth celebrating.

Up ahead she spotted the flickering dull neon of the party supply store. The only reason the little shop managed to stay open were because of the parties the Amekage would throw. Tenderly Coco place her yellow umbrella down underneath the store's terrace.

The shops bell rung dimly as Coco slid in through the door. Immediately she was hit with a familiar wave of heat. That kind of thing happened so often when she wore four layers of clothing that she hardly noticed it. Coco's emerald eyes scanned the store. It's walls were aligned with a wide variety of brightly colored toys. She imagined that working here could be pretty fun. Though from the look on the clerks face she couldn't be too sure. The man's face was blank as the sky was grey.

"Excuse me sir." Coco announced, ever the professional. "I have an order from the Amekage." She said it with a tint of pride. "A cart of party favors?" She produced the order from the folds of her outfit.

The man's face hardly lit up. "Right." He grunted. "It's out front."

"You left a cart of fireworks out in the rain?" Coco was absolutely flabbergasted.

"It's got a tarp."

"Well what if someone tried to steal it?"

"Wouldn't take too long for us to figure out who it was." True, there weren't so many people in the village that any major crime would go unnoticed by somebody. Still Coco felt a tinge of sadness. This man was just another example of someone who'd given up on her village.

"well." Coco muttered, not entirely sure what to say. "I guess I'll be going then." She held her position for a good half minute waiting for the man to respond. He never did. "Okay then bye." Swiftly she exited the store, equal parts mad, and creeped out. True to his word a tarp covered rickshaw sat outside of the shop, only feet away from her umbrella. "Can't believe I didn't notice that. So much for being a ninja."
Immediately she was struck with a problem. How was she suppose to pull a rickshaw and hold an umbrella at the same time?

Xxx Ten minutes later xxX

Coco's umbrella sat comfortably in the rickshaw providing a rain free ride to the tarp, which provided a doubly rain free ride to the Amekage's fire works, and other toys. All the while Poor Coco pulled the wretched wagon though the abandoned streets of Amegakure. Her eyes were only half open as rain gently slapped her face, like a thousand tiny hands. All the while she muttered "I hate this place, I hate this place."
