While traveling to, well nowhere. Nakama found a man who was hidden in the shade of a tree. While not initially paying him any attention, the man hissed at him and beckoned him over. Better judgment would tell him to just continue the walk, for some reason he had a feeling that he could get some sort of information or some sort of benefit that was unknown to him yet. Or maybe he would attack him. Fifty - Fifty seemed like good odds.
"Hello, stranger. May I ask what you are doing here?" The man asked. He hid in a hood similar to Kama's, but it was not nearly as dirty or worn
"I live here... More or less. What are you doing here?" Nakama replied, keeping his wits to himself.
"It matters little. What does matter is the opportunity I could provide to you. I have a score to settle with a local, business man. He is just several miles north of here." The man paused to point in the direction. "Destroy all her shop and take the scroll, trust me she would know what you are talking about. Hell if need be take her life as well. You aren't wearing your clans livery, one could assume that is because you rather not be known. Meet me back here in 5 hours and you will receive Five hundred Ryo. If you don't take the contract, don't bother coming back." The man stated before walking off into the forest.
Nakama was flabbergasted at what just happened. He didn't even get to reply before the man was gone, almost as he had teleported away. The whole deal was very off and his mind was telling him to clear out as fast as possible, but then again when he had listened to his instinct, it gave him a job opportunity to make money. And having some cash was never a bad thing. Nakama took some moment to think about it, but eventually just decided to take the job. Depending on the seller it could of been really easy job, just destroy all his merchant dice and run off. Then again what if the man was an Ex Anbu member? Just retired and decided to make some dough while he had become too old to continue to fight. Meh. Risks have to always be taken.
As instructed, Nakama made his way north. He picked up the pace not sure how far it really was. Several for him and several for most other people were two different measurements. He highly doubted it was his several. And he was right. After about thirty minutes of jumping tree to tree, he eventually found a shop. It was a sketchy as it sounded. It was lying in the middle of nowhere and was lying to the side of a road. Probably was some kind of rest shop for weary travels. It was the exact opposite...
Three shurikens flew at Nakama. While completely caught off guard, his threads swirled out of his body smacking them off to the side. Nakama dropped to the opposite side of the road and pulled out a Kunai. He turned to where is attacker should be, due to the trajectory of the metal stars. The side shop.
"Welcome!" A friendly voice called out to Nakama. It was the shop keeper. At first Kama leaped back into the tree's and looked for the attacker, but with no one in sight. It must of been the Shopkeeper. Which if it was he had horrible business manners.
Nakama dropped back to the floor and pointed his Kunai at the man, waiting for him to reply.
"Hello and welcome to Jan's Traveling weapons shop! I see you must be a ninja with that kind of skill to block those premium made shurikens. Did you see how fast and gracefully traveled? So now you have to buy something from me! Unless you wanted to be rude" The Woman said with a pouty face .
Nakama processed what he had just heard. It really didn't make too much sense because would that mean, "And if I didn't block those shurikens?" Nakama said in a monotone voice.
"Well if that was the case, we wouldn't be having this conversation would we!" the Woman said with a giggle.
Perfect, well now he would have to deal with a crazy woman, "I was told that you have a scroll. I need it. Now."
"Oh, man so many people want that thing, does it really matter that much? Ok since you have been my first customer of the day, you can take it!"
The Woman reached down over and ruffled a couple of object before throwing a Fuma shuriken. The foot long blade clipping his hood before being tossed to the side by his Kunai. Before he knew it, she leaped forwards with her Katana. She went for a downard slash, but was stopped by Nakama's kunai. He assumed the position that he had practiced waiting for her to strike.
She charged him, letting the blade scrape across the ground. Kama used this to his advantage, he used his newly learned Leaf Whirlwind. The first kick she ducked over and readied her blade to make impact, but was cut off by the kick to the face. The twirling effect mad his leg slingshot with incredible force. Her body ragdolled as it flew back into a tree. Her own blade harpooning her.
With the threat dealt with, he focused on the moving shop. The traveling merchant did have a nice amount of weaponry, but he was on a time limit and did not need any extra weight. With just a few minutes of tearing up the shop with his tendrils, he found three scrolls. He took them and left the shop and its owner, good luck to her though.
After making the trip back he took longer than expected. He still made the time limit, but the fight and searching had made him tired, but eventually he arrived to the spot. All that was there was a red box. Was this where he was supposed to deliver the scroll? He assumed so and put the scrolls in the box. Upon closing it, the box blew up into a white cloud. Once it cleared up, the money was left there as promised and a scroll. With a message:
"For taking her out."
