         As he opened his eyes and let the sunshine filter through into his vision he couldn't believe it! He was now a genin! And as such he needed to start doing missions! But first he had to get ready. As he got out of bed he walked over to his bathroom and started his shower he also started up the oven. Now you may be wondering why a 12 year old was cooking his own breakfast in the morning, well, after his genin exam, Karasu's parents decided that since he was an adult in the eyes of the village he needed to move out and live by himself. He now lived in a small house on the Nara compound right next door to his parents. His house was rather quaint. It had a walk in kitchen with a cupboard above the sink and dishwasher and a fridge in the corner. Then you could walk into the living groom where he had a small futon and a table set up with chairs for eating or the occasional chess game. Then you could walk down the hall to the guest room, it was fairly simple with a twin sized be with green covers and a blue pillow. Across the hall from that is the guest bathroom with a simple shower and sink with a commode in between. Then at the end of the hall was the master bedroom with a queen size bed a large bookshelf, a chest filled with various ninja items, a walk in closet, and of course the master bathroom. Anyways, after Karasu got through with his shower he got dressed and cooked up some healthy brown rice and chicken. After he ate he brushed his teeth and made his way out the door. As he made his way towards the mission assignment post he noticed that he heard a dog barking, finding this very peculiar as it sounded rather needy. As he approached it it began to scamper off so he let it slide as an over active puppy. As he approached the post he noticed a certain E-Rank that caught his eye.

There is a large dog that seems to be looking for something in the village, it is barking towards the villages as if pleading for help. Find what the dog is looking for so it will get out of the village, and do not kill or hurt it.


          This was the perfect mission to get Karasu started on his path of a ninja! He began to look for that dog again. He began to run down the streets at half speed looking for the mutt when he heard the barking again. He immediately changed course and jumped onto a rooftop. As he jumped from rooftop to rooftop the barking grew louder and louder until he found the dog again only it looked much more frantic this time. He dropped down and grabbed the dog and said, "what's the matter boy?" To which the dog responded "grr woof woof bark!" It then began to struggle until Karasu released it and it took off again. He decided his best course of action was to follow it. He began to run after it. It glanced back and gave a bark. Now he was no Inuzuka but Karasu could practically feel the relief and happiness in that bark. He followed the dog  who had increased vigor. As they ran he could feel the mocking glances of the villagers and he was growing frustrated that this mutt was taking so long to lead him through the village. As they ran the dog began to bark as if signaling that they were about to take a turn. So he followed it as they took a left then a right and finally another left and he was left standing in front of a rundown old house.
              The house was obviously very old. The front porch looked very rotted and about to collapse. It looked that it would have been a beautiful house at some point but not anymore. It was very rotted and black with mold. The front door looked like years ago it had been very elegant and expensive but it appeared to have been left to rust. Under the door was a dog entrance which the dog ran into. Then Karasu was cut from his thoughts as the dog stuck his head back out and barked for him to follow. As he walked up to the door he had to avoid stepping on the rotted areas. As he tried to open the door it wouldn't budge it appeared to have been blocked off by some boards from the other side. So he focused chakra into his leg and kicked the door. He put a good sized dent in it but not enough to get it out if the way. So he focused chakra to his right hand. He always loved focusing chakra to his limbs and feeling the warm rush of power strengthening his muscles and bone. He then threw a powerful punch at the door and it blasted off it's hinges and he walked in to find where the dog went to. He saw it clawing at some rubble near some sort of underground entrance way. As he began to dig it out the dog got even more restless.
              After a while of digging Karasu finally broke all the way through. Right when he did a wolf jumped at him. He had to jump onto the ceiling and stick so avoid it's maw. Luckily he grabbed the dog too otherwise it would definitely be dead. Two more wolves made their way out so Karasu decided to throw a kunai at the first nailing it right in the throat killing it instantly. Then he created a clone and had it run a little ways away to distract the last two wolves. As they ran he stopped focusing chakra and dropped to the floor. Before he could hit he flipped and landed on his feet and set the dog down. It scampered into the cave. He then threw another kunai into the second wolfs head through it's eye killing it. Before he could ready another kunai the final wolf came running at him. He then ran grabbed the kunai out of the first wolf and sliced the final wolfs neck with a shwick! It fell to the ground dead as a door nail. 
           Karasu followed the tunnel until he reached another barricade of some sort that the mutt was scratching at. This one only took one kick without even adding chakra and the wood came apart. As he walked in he found a pretty well kept room with a fire, a fridge some cupboards and a bed. It was on this bed that he saw him. A small child whose dirty face was scrunched in agony. He had a malnourished body. And he was very pale and thin. You could clearly see the bones of his arms and ribs as he was only wearing what looked like sackcloth trousers. He was clutching his arm and after closer examination Karasu noticed that the boy had been bitten by one of the wolves and it had become infected. He knew that the child needed immediate medical attention. So he walked over and carefully scooped the boy into his arms careful to avoid startling him or causing unnecessary pain to the boys arm and placed him onto his back and held his legs close to his sides as the bow wrapped his good arm around Karasu's neck.
          Karasu ran as fast as his legs could carry him to the hospital. He knew an infection as bad as the boys would need medical attention fast before it needed an amputation. The dog ran alongside him as fast as it could to keep up which was a testament to the dogs love for the child as Karasu was running at definite shinobi speeds. As he neared the hospital  he burst through the door startling the nurses and ran straight to the ER completely ignoring the cries of the nurses for him to stop. He gently placed the boy on a bed and made his way out of the hospital petting the loyal dog as he walked out the door.
