Fenri's Genin Exam
Sat May 02, 2015 9:24 pm
Fenris was, at least, 5 minutes early to the test. He wanted everythinbg to be perfect. He had the jutsu he needed learned to the best of his ability, and now he just had to prove it to an instructor. He raced down the hall of the school, excitedly looking for the room he had been notified to report to. Entering in, he bowed and prepared to be told what he was supposed to be doing. "I am here as requested and ready for my exam!"

A voice awoke him from his stupor, his arms flailing about on his desk, knocking over half finished bottles of whisky. "Huh, what? Oh yeah, come in." The man would stumble to his feet, his left arm holding onto the desk as though to support him.
"Um, the two jutsu.. uh...Transformation I think? and the basic clone jutsu, do those and *hic* you're good, you'll be a genin then."
(Perform the 2 jutsu in 800 words or more)

Fenris sighed as he realized his instructor was, apparently, sort of a drunk. He wasn't positive the man was qualified for doing this test, but Fenris didn't really have a choice in the matter. He just had to get this done then he could be a ninja like he wanted. The floors creaked as he took a stance, his hair seemingly to float as he prepared his chakra for the jutsu. He couldn't use too much or too little for the clone jutsu, but he had to do it well enough for the instructor to pass him. No scroll to look at or anything he had to do it purely from memory without any help. He slowed his breathing as he concentrated, pulling on his chakra. He could almost feel the pathways inside himself aligning themselves to the correct place for him to be able to preform the jutsu. He just had to get it right the first time, and only once then he would pass, so far as the man was sober enough to tell that the boy had done anything. Fenris tried not to let the puddle of alcohol on the floor distract him as he slowly preformed the hand signs, his fingers moving fluidly as he did so without any mistakes in form. He glowed a dim golden color as his chakra was brought out, and in his color as well. His hair seemed to move as if floating on the wind and his jacket did the same as he repeated the mantra in his head of getting the jutsu right simply once and then he would be done. He continued his meditative breathing, as milliseconds had only passed since he had started, though it had felt like an eternity. He controlled the flow of chakra as perfectly as he could, balancing it out to the left and right of himself evenly. He couldn't afford to fail now, not when he was this close. He concentrated, as he neared the final seal for complettion. Just as he hit the final seal, he released his chakra, and two clones poofed into existence by either side of the boy, sharing his stance and posture perfectly, as well as looking exactly like him in every way. While Fenris wished he could make more then just images, this was just gonna have to do for now, and it would pass the test for him.
Looking at the test guy, who the boy hoped hadn't passed out drunk, he mentally prepared himself for what he had to do next. The transformation jutsu wasn't as hard, but he had to have a clear image. He was obviously not going to use the instructor. The man was in poor shape as it was and Fenris was worried it may rub off on him or something. he figured he should use the same classmate he had used with his initial transformation. The boy he had seen in class plenty of times woul;d make a great image for him to use, and he had a rather plain look too, making it all the better. He focused for a few seconds, once again mentally preparing himself. Getting it right shouldn't be hard, and since it wasn't likely the drunk man actually knew the kid, he just had to get the appearance as close to the real thing as he possibly could. He didn't want any mistakes though, so he'd still try his absolute hardest to get it perfect whether or not the man was paying attention. Sighing, he mentally prepared himself. It was simple, he just had to look like someone else and do it perfectly the first time. No real pressure, and he had gotten the first one right too, so he had that going for him at least. He once called on his chakra and focused it as he put his hands together. He was meticulous and patient, as he wanted to get it absolutely perfect. With no room for failure he began the hand seals and breathed in and out slowly, his hands flipping through the signs with practiced ease. He slowly layered the chakra over his body as he did so, knowing he needed a thin layer for the transformation to work correctly. As he worked his chakra carefully, he knew he had to succeed. He couldn't fail now, he had come much to far to fail such a simple test. His hands flipped through the final signs and he exhaled, releasing his chakra. A cloud of smoke appeared around the boy as he made the transformation perfectly, looking exactly like the particular person he was replicating. He knew he had gotten the jutsu down correctly, now the only question was whether or not the man was paying attention. "How'd I do?"
