Preparing for the war on Big Things (P, NK)

For a few seconds Hikari thought she had said something wrong with a mini earthquake suddenly appearing out of nowhere but apparently it was nothing all too serious, as all of a sudden he put on this pleasant smile as though he were proud of her for some reason. Ah well, no use questioning his mood swings, she would be like that too if she looked like the bad guy from Anastasia all corroded and decaying. Hearing him mention the Black Forest made her pale slightly, as if Youka was referring to this place and not asking what her homeland was then clearly some strange rumors had been going around, possibly Titan related. A determined smile would dawn on her face as she spoke. "Well, thanks for giving me the chance Youka. Please do accompany me and I promise that I'll find proof." Dropping the plank with a forlorn glance back into its proper place she would turn towards Youka. "Shall we?"

Unbeknownst to Youka while he was doing his normal counter measures to the beast inside him's attempt at killing him slowly he was also doing something else. It was a small change, but a change none the less and it came in the form of power being siphoned from the bijuu inside and forcibly given over to him. This being because the natural order of things was to leave a piece of yourself behind even if you were taking something from someone else. It happened all the time in life, even the butterfly leaves behind something as it steals the nectar from a beautiful flower. The same thing was happening here just in a slightly more sinister way. As the bijuu drained the very life force from the males body, decaying and rotting his outsides and innards at an alarming rate it couldn't help but leave behind some of it's enormous power as it did so in the form of one of it's tails in chakra form.

Inside his mind the beast was working diligently in over time attempting to suppress the change that was happening in Youka so that he would not become aware of the power now coursing through his body. Where normally one would be able to feel this change as the bijuu relented and relinquished some of it's control it didn't happen here. The Bijuu was a very spiteful and crast being holding all of it's power to itself never intending to share any with the host it never asked for. So it was, Youka never realized the first tail had ever been unlocked and instead the pain only intensified as bits of bone began to decay away on the hand he held behind his back still. He would bite down on his tongue causing it to bleed as he realized if he didn't he would indeed scream out into the world letting everyone know the pain he was in.

Listening to the girl speak in her bubbly tone he couldn't help but think of ripping open her voice box and altering it to change her voice to something less grating on the ears even if it was just lowering the voice by about 3 decimals. She was all to eaer to find and eliminate these things she called titans and sadly Youka found himself a little too energetic and eager to see if they were real of just a figment of her imagination. Either way he would have his answers and if they were indeed real he would have something else to explore, if they weren't well there were always fresh pikes.

Walking to the door with hands in pocket once more he would look back at the girl while waving his right hand in her direction to bid her farewell for the time being.

"Very well, I'll follow you into the woods, I'll meet you by the gates shortly if you don't mind. I'll need to head back to the kage building and fetch my equipment for this mission of sorts I guess. You never know what we might run into and I'd rather be over prepared than under and risk death."

With his final words he would step out of the shop and make his way back through the various gates and to his home and workplace wrapped all into one nice small package. He couldn't help but shake the feeling however that the entity inside of him was doing something rather strange to his body besides the whole causing everything to fall apart and decay thing. That was a given and becoming common place. What Youka was thinking about was a brief bump in his vitality that he felt as if he was being reborn with fresh life in him ready to begin anew. Sadly as quickly as it had came it dropped and vanished into nothingness as an even great pain racked his body causing even bone to decay on his arm running upwards.

The beast was picking up the pace in which it was attempting to kill him and Youka knew that soon he would have to attempt to speak to the thing and come up with some type of way they could both live in this one body just like his other personality had. Sadly any communication that was tried was always ignored with nothing being heard but the silence in his own mind. Pushing it aside for now the male would begin placing his armor on once more attaching the pieces of metal where they would fall in place. Each piece clicked and locked once more as the motor to the mechanism that released all of his toxins kicked into life purring softly and releasing a small fume cloud above it. As he walked over to the wall where he kept his weapons he eyed Silence as it gleamed standing out from all the other weapons. In one fluid movement he grabbed the legendary weapon and twirled it to his back before strapping it down and moving for the doors leading to the main gates. As he closed the door he attached his re breather once more to his lips and nose covering them before taking in one breath and blowing it back out in the form of a small poisonous cloud of air.

And amazingly, it seemed that Youka would indeed be following her, further putting him into her good books as one who took her seriously. She would simply nod that he was going off to pick up his equipment, she too needed to go home and pick up Crimson Rose lest she be totally unprepared for Titan hunting. Watching him leave she changed her mind and decided that she would indeed be taking the plank with her, paying the ship it's ryo before going home to her new wooden house which rested on land that she totally hadn't taken from one of her dead neighbors before setting it down next to her bundle of sharpened bamboo sticks before entering a large walk-in closet that was bare except for one compact red case looking object which she strapped to her back with a flourish, feeling the familiar rush of having a true weapon in her hands. In all honesty simple kunai can only do so much in the hands of a specialist, or at least she believed she was one of sorts. Quickly making a small meal of miso soup and beef negimaki she would wolf down her food and put the dishes in the sink before standing up and pushing her chair in, locking up her weapons closet before stepping out of her house towards the gates. She was ready.
