Where are my heads

Using his ability to transport himself over vast distances he had been to already he would appear slightly out from Amegakure with Akuoy in tow. Mortarion had deemed in required that he come himself to see just how much Ame had changed under the rule of whoever it was, Li or Aios, he didn't care. As was the case everywhere he went now he was in full battle gear his bulking armor clambering as he walked in the rain. The two scythes on his back crossed over one another in opposite directions giving the look of broken wings with their points gleaming. Each labored breath he took caused the pack on his armor to rumble to life emitting a vile toxin into the air quickly killing and decaying anything it came in contact with.

Reaching Amegakure's gates he would notice the heads and count each one in passing before continuing on. Akuoy would stay for a moment and go through the files to find the respective heads identity for verification. As Mortarion would make it to the gates threshold he would exhale through his rebreather as a dark purple chakra was released into the air as well. Would he be met this time or would Ame have more heads to adorn their entrance?

Sync, with nothing to do was actually looking over the heads before the stranger came, Sync was completely and utterly upset by the violent display of heads, then he realized, he saw Junns head mounted on one of the spikes, Sync saw a man walk up to the gate, he was in armor. 'He was Obviously here on a mission or something why else would someone venture this far with armor?' Sync thought to himself as the man made it to the gate.

Sync unknowing as to who the man was, Sync would make a polite bowing gesture before standing straight up "Hello sir, welcome to Ame, my name is Sync and I shall be escorting you to my Kage" Sync said as polite as possible "Unless of course, you wish to wander around the village, I shall be your trusted guild however until someone with a higher status shows up" Sync added, he knew this guy must be strong, he wasn't sure why he felt like that but it was very potent around him, like a since of death and decay, Sync wasn't sure if it was his best interest to even stand around him however he needed to be of service to someone.

Sync would respectfully wait for the mans reply.

A bead of sweat rolled down the side of Li's face as he observed what Sync was doing from his office. He was sitting on the tongue of the kage building and watching everything that went down. "What is that idiot doing?" He asked himself as he saw Sync talking to Youka, and his bodyguard. He wondered where CoRin was. As she was the one who was suppose to be monitoring the gates. He was sure she was just a post away, but man he hoped nothing absolutely horrid happened in the mean time.

Just in case...

He wrapped Raphael around his shoulders, and flew over to where the Three ninja were already positioned. He'd been trying to not be the one to greet him at the gates, but now his hand was force, for syncs sake. He just hoped he could get there in time.

Mortarions gaze from beneath his cowl studied the male that had brought himself before the decaying kage of Kumogakure. One might even say his eyes glowed a slight darkish purple from the amount of bijuu chakra flowing through him attempting to destroy his body from the inside. In his mind he was having a talk with Akuoy to find out just who exactly this was.

"Who is this that stands before me Akuoy?"

His clone began running through the files he had memorized to match the face with a name. Ame had quite a few ninja and he had been tasked with memorizing each and every one of them.

"His name is Sync as he has already said, at last check the male was a genin of Amegakure."

Mortarions body shifted to that of a more upright position as the anger in his body bean to grow just as the pain of his intestines being slowly rotted away reached a peak of pain. Why did Ame have a genin watching its gates, surely this was a job for a Jounin, chuunin at the least with a group of genin. No words were uttered to the ale in front of him. The only thing that happened was a slow reach with his left hand around his back to the haft of Silence that lay dormant till touched. He moved it to the front of him as the blade started to drip its deadly toxins onto the earth.

What brought the ire of Mortarion ever more was the fact that no questions were asked of where he had come from or what business he had, simply a tour of the village was given. Ame was in need of a more...strict hand. Hefting the blade ever so slowly above his head he would begin the reaping of Amegakure with this boys life as the first to fall for a village that hadn't learned it's lesson.......

"Summoning: Rashomon!" CoRin declared Jumping from the Wall, and slamming her hands on the ground. A large Wall would erupt from the ground beneath Sync, with such incredible speed and strength that it would lift him into the air, and send him flying into the sky, propelling him backwards into the village. "One hundred laps around the Village! And don't ever greet another ninja again!" 

'Alright that was my bad.' CoRin thought as she wiped a bit of mustard from her sandwich from her face. 'I'll have to rethink how lunch works while people are guarding the wall.'

She'd pop her head around the wall and look at Youka, who may or may not be enraged at the moment. "To be fare." She announced coming fully around the wall with a clipboard. "Interns am I right?. Alright let's see what we've got here." She flipped through the pages on her clip board. "Purpose for visit: Taxes, subjugation, destruction, torture, I'll just go ahead and circle all of the above. Pass port or immigration form. You're our kage so that's not needed. A few checks, here yadda yadda." She started checking stuff of the list. "Alrighty just some personal information from ya." She tossed the clipboard over to Youka's companion who already seemed to be doing paper work.

"Pardon for the trouble my lord!" CoRin announced with a Salute. "I think there was some miscommunication with Sync. He thought I said Escort The Raikage in. When I actually said, don't go anywhere near him, and just make sure the heads are all in line. It was a simple mistake. Don't worry I'll flog him when I'm off of duty."

Sync saw it for the best as CoRin had abruptly shot him threw the skies with her summon.What Sync wasn't ready for was the abrupt landing he had suffered, he was sent meters into the air roughly about 6 meters, Sync came smashing upon the ground cracking a few of his left rip and breaking his arm, Obviously the leaders of his village didn't want him talking to the Kage anymore, Sync had no choice but to move to a alley, it proved difficult as with every movement he felt like needles were stabbing into him as he would make it to a alley way about 15 meters back.

Sync with his lack of medical skills would not be able to fix his arm or ribs so he'd sit in pain as the higher up ninja talked.

As Li approached he snatched Sync out of the air before any harm could be done. He was watching the whole debacle go down. If it wasn't for the fact that he'd become numb to the sheer ridiculousness of his citizens he'd be mortified. "Hey Sync, buddy. I know you had good intentions. I really do. But for the love go god, please consult me or CoRin before meeting anyone else outside of the village."

 He watched as CoRin tossed some paper work to Youka's assistant. "Okay maybe just me." Those were real forms that visitors to Ame had to fill about but he felt it might not have been proper to hand one to youka. The fact that the forum's only reasons for visiting Ame were to inflict pain on it's inhabitants was very telling. Li made a mental note to talk to the office of immigration about that once this was all over. If he was still alive to do the asking. If course he felt that, that was how all of his meetings with Youka were. 'If I make it out of this.'

He sat Sync down on the wall (The actual wall) and flew over CoRin's Rashomon fifteen meters in the air. He extended his threads to CoRin and yanked her to the city wall. "Well say what you want about our seriousness. But We got three ninjas here immediately and you just teleported in. That's an impressive response time." He let out a nervous laugh, then simply frowned. 

He let out a sigh, and just gave up. "I don't know what you respect Youka. I don't know how to be diplomatic to a man like you. It's not compassion, or empathy. I once though it was bravery, but maybe ours has just been dwindling. Even obedience seems to only make you hate us all more. The only thing I can think of is power, if so I tell you this. There is not one thing in this world I crave more than to see Ame rise above the great nations that I think you loathe as much as we do."

He shrugged his shoulders, and cast a forlorn look down to both of his ninja's who were just trying to help their village.  "And I know for sure it's not words, and I've gone on for long enough. Speak and we shall hear you."

He didn't know Youka. AT ALL. What little he did know of the man was limited to the destroying of villages, and his choice of delicious dounuts. However his savagery always seemed to contain a note of nobility. Not enough to assume that the man was anything less than a heartless killer, but Li Saw a spark that could almost be considered something like goodness, or mercy. Maybe he was just deluding himself. into seeing something that was not. like when people hear voices out of patternless static. Just simply the attempt of a mind to make something familiar out of something which can not be comprehended. But surely the man understood the most basic of his villages' woes. That they were small and weak, and up against someone who was not. They simply wanted to live in peace.

Surely there was a part of youka that was once small and weak, and knew what it was to be frustrated and sad. 

Li had dedicated his entire life to bringing hope into his village. He built angels which flew and watched over his village. When it came under attack he would have given his life just to see his people make it out alive. When it was destroyed he stayed to rebuild it. He'd given everything he had to this village and it's people. It seemed that no obstacle could not be overcome by Li's sheer determination and love for his people. 

Then he met youka. The void. 

Like a black hole he seemed to suck the hope and joy from Li's veins.

His Angels, simply puppets.

His life, all too short and fragile.

His village, just buildings waiting to be cast back into the marshes. 

Dang, that was dark.

Mortarion's expressionless face didn't change under his cowl as he again slowly lowered the scythe to a upright position in his left hand its blade slightly taller than him still dripping it's poison on the earth. He simply watched and said nothing at the weird events that were happening in Amegakure. Ten heads on pikes hadn't been enough it would seem for them to get the message of leading and running a structured village. As this new entrant entered she flippantly listed off few things before tossing the pad at Akuoy. Needless to say he didn't catch it, it simply hit his armors chest plate and he tilted his head side ways towards the woman before speaking to Mortarion through their mental connection.

"Can I kill this one?"

Mortarion sighed deeply before replying.

"Not yet, she does seem to be a little more in control of things than the other albeit I would prefer more professionalism."

Akuoy stopped his first step forward and returned to his neutral position. She spoke some more, most of it was ignored, Mortarions full attention on the incoming chakra, he hoped for this villages sake it was the leader. Sure enough within moments Li was once again in front of him standing up for the short comings of his village. The whole while there was not one word uttered from the behemoth in armor he remained stoic and unsympathetic to what the male was saying. With a low growl in his voice he began to speak once Li had finished.

"I expect a village that is under my control to be more structured than what I've come to see twice now. This is not obedience leaving a genin unattended at the gates, it is ignorance even if you both showed up moments later."

His words carried a darkness and each one was spoken through his rebreather that let out a dark purple of chakra before dissipating in the air immediately. Stepping past Li and walking into the village he would begin walking ahead with Akuoy following slightly behind him.

"Show me to an area where we can sit and talk in length."

CoRin let out a sigh of relief when Li entered the scene. She wasn't sure if her presnece had made things better or worse for the village. Though that was a feeling which she had on a daily basis. She looked to the head of Jun which sat atop a spike. Yup. All too familiar. 

She lept onto the wall and walked her way next to sync."Are you okay?" She gave him a look over. He looked alright, though when she was done with him he wouldn't be. "Alright, so we're going to have to rethink our guard protocols around here."

Sync was sat on the wall rather kindly by Li, he was probably upset with the way he greeted the visitor, as soon as Li left sync stood upon the wall, looking down as Li and the man with the Scythe seemed rather 'chummy' with each other, Sync looked at his squad leader as she questioned the man, Sync wasn't sure if she meant what she said about the lashings as Li saved the day running to the man.

It was clear to Sync what was going on as his old squad leader hopped onto the wall, she seemed calm probably because Li showed up never the less he remembered her threat and went into a stance mostly cowerdly as she began to speak Sync also spoke "YOU AREN'T GONNA WHIP ME RIGHT??!?!?!" Sync said in a rather defensive tone, he had seen her at work and she was definitely strong, Sync heard her out though, her speech was clear still scared and unmoving waiting for the pain to show up.
