First Day Alone [NK,IO=Bardo]

So now having walked for for what seemed like days endlessly with very few breaks between this mundane activity. Tyler with his tendrils on his hand swirling playfully around one another, sat on a nearby rock. There he sat contemplating where he was at and what he would do. But not where he was at physically as much as it was mentally. He needed to gather himself, not so long ago he was behind safe village walls. The word safe being used loosely of course. However it was far safer than being in this random terrain that he found himself in currently. He looked around and although random it looked familiar, there was something about it, the air and the texture of the ground beneath his saddled feet. The air tasted and smelled of soot, the ground was like black grains of sand, and even mountain ranges were looking oddly familiar. But it took him a moment to realize his whereabouts. Now here Tyler was thinking he had traveled all far and shit when in reality he had probably walked in the biggest circle known to mankind, his sense of direction was about as sharp as a mole's, and his will to care probably even sharper. But when you grow up where he did there are thing's far more important than where you might be at the moment such as your surroundings and who might be within those surroundings. One learns to be cautious, to look around, and have their eyes peeled for some out of the ordinary or even lowkey activity that may or may not be going around them. One becomes paranoid and not in a good way, if somebody happens to follow you for three turns you make it your mission to shake them off even if it means going the long way home. But Tyler had none of these thoughts in his mind as he sat down upon this random rock in this rocky volcanic terrain that he knew all too well. One of the various benefits of having this sense of what's around you is the fact that with the fact that he is a ninja gives him the perfect blend of ninja 101. 

Also his ability to use chakra to a certain extent allows for that as well. The tendrils swirled back into his body as he began to contemplate his next course of action. Since it was obvious he was still in his home land turf, he may as well train for the various ninja who might stand before him outside of the "safety" that the land provided him. Tyler doubted anybody would have come as few ninja emerged from there or even took upon an interest as most just learned to fight to simply entertain daily life. Other professions were far more needed than ninja for a violent village that most feared. So there he sat upon a rock contemplating his next moves however still as usual aware of his surroundings for anything out of the ordinary. Or any threats as technically he was a rouge ninja form the Village Hidden in the Volcanos.

As Bardo would have found himself in yet another mysterious land he would have rather liked the atmosphere and aura that the village itself would have been giving off, though he didn’t find it to be among some of those with the highest caliber of people job wise or even “shinobi” wise it seemingly would be a wonderful place to fall off the grid and strengthen himself for the world that was to come. However, seeing as the village was seemingly one of the hotter ones that he would have found himself sneaking and dwelling within, therefore , he wouldn’t have been wearing a shirt on this hot evening as the sun would have been settling down beating down as it was earlier within the day. He would have had on a pair of cargo pants that would have rode slightly low upon his pelvic bone though not truly exposing anything but rather letting everything breath nicely as to not become musty smelling. His favorite gray boots would have seemingly become dirtier and dirtier with every step through this seemingly ash filled wasteland or rather mountain range that he would have been traveling through, with his medium length blonde hair slicked back and down his blue eyes would have easily been visible to all of those who would wise to make eye contact with him, though the process of actually doing this would be another story.  


Therefore, as he would have continued his journey with his shirt tucked into his back pocket hanging loosely out of it, he would have still wore some upper body coverage that being his vest that he would always be seen wearing which would cover up his tattoo rather nicely. But as he would have continued his walk he would have saw something rather strange within the distance having a spacing of at least twenty five meters from the other what he would assume being that would have been sitting upon a rock, he would have never let this object out of his eye sight so as to not get easily taken off guard or perhaps taken into the possible trap this could have been. However, the more he would approach the foreign subject the more apparent it would become that it was simply another man, or rather kid really because he didn’t look to be over the age of sixteen perhaps in his early seventeens but the boy known as Bardo could have easily been mistaken for these days it wasn’t truly clear to tell someone’s age purely off of their appearance alone.


Though with him and the other boy now only being ten meters apparent and Bardo not truly trying to be stealthy or even truly go without being noticed he would have simply let out a slight exhale as he would think to himself before he would open his mouth stopping at a mark that would have left them five meters away from each other. “Hey why are you sitting on that rock as if you are lost in thought?”


This would have been a rather trivial and inimportant question to ask the boy but he had to start a conversation somehow, and only doing this because in his quest for what he truly sought after he would need strong allies and he would swiftly want to collect a good surrounding of them so that he could potentially move more swiftly ahead with his plans than simply sitting around fraturnezing with people that he could easily see as trash the very next day…. Therefore, he would await the boys reply and hopefully this little conversation would have a rather fruitful outcome….

Although Tyler sat seemingly deep in thought from the corner of his eye he spotted an individual in the distance moving closer. He made no sudden movements or even an attempt to run at that for there was no need. If the individual attempted something they would be dead swiftly within a matter of moments. His tendrils swirling within his body, his nostrils flared the closer this daring individual became, until he was within ten meters of of the tendril filled monster as some might call him. Between random and various stitches threads would swirl and reveal themselves just to hide again within the body they were kept in. To most it would intimidate but if this individual were anybody worth not killing he would prove himself. 

"Hey why are you sitting on that rock as if you are lost in thought"

The words registered in his head and as he was obviously addressed Tyler looked up slowly but surely at the man who peculiarly asked the question. His eyes fixated upon every fabric of his being. Investigative eyes, almost looking as though to judge his very existence and cast his soul into a graveyard of turmoil. However instead of a verbal response, he merely rose from the rock he was once sitting upon, now fully and obviously directing his attention to the one before him, while still maintaining a level of focus upon his surroundings. His mouth opened as if to  say something but then found itself closedas quickly as he had opened it. He honestly felt this individual didn't deserve a response. Who was he to question Tyler on his actions as if he were his father or something of the sort. Tyler answered to no man nor would he ever answer to anybody so instead of answering the question he instead asked another in it's stead.

"Why are you watching me sit on said rock,shit why are you even out here, you don't look like you come from a village like this"

His words cold and precise, no emotion other than that. It was obvious to any who heard that Tyler was not a outwardly pleasant individual. He however prepared himself as based upon this man's initial representation of himself Tyler already didn't necessarily like him and expected to be fighting him soon.

Tyler eyed the man with the same intensity, but the more he spoke the less intense his glare became and the more curiosity that took it's place. This individual was not soft on the exterior however that could merely mean he was putting up some sort of a front. However if he was it intrigued Tyler nonetheless. If this man peaked his interest enough Tyler would have no choice but to do one of two things, the first, the option he would prefer as it would prove itself more useful would be to form some sort of an agreed partnership with him and achieve the various goals Tyler had for himself as well as the shinobi world. Though the goals of the shinobi world having not been completely developed as of yet his personal goals would have to suffice, and he wasn't so full of pride that he denied potential assistance from somebody even if he didn't plan to keep them around he knew others could further his cause should they be found useful. However there was only one way to see if he would be useful or not in the grander scheme of things.

And when he decided to mention both of their boredom he was peaked more. It was true Tyler was bored and the best way to fix this would be the same way Tyler would be testing this man's usefulness, through combat. It was quite literally the only way to figure out the next steps and would cease Tyler's boredom by either allowing him an opportunity to kill the man before him or to engage in a fun and violent fight.

"Yea your right I am bored, so let's fight, a fight tells a lot about a man" he said with a smirk. However this suggestion he stated was not much of a suggestion or an invitation because the man honestly didn't have a choice. He WAS GOING to fight weather he liked it or not and he would see that, because Tyler didnt give a fuck if he had responded or not because honestly he wouldn't be given enough time to verbally respond. Immediately after his words were uttered and his mouth ceased movement his hand would be raised toward the man who stood 5 meters in front of him and from his fingertips would fire five threads moving toward the opponent at a speed that he couldn't possibly avoid. The majority of them aimed at non lethal positions, the thumb thread would be aimed at his right wrist, the pointer thread at his right shoulder, the middle finger thread to his neck, the ring finger thread to his left shoulder, and the pinky thread to his right wrist. To inexperienced fighters this might kill them especially if the attacked moved faster than them which Tyler was sure was the case with this attack and the individual before him. However if he was anything above high quality garbage he would remain alive to tell the tale. 

And to truly amaze Tyler if he remained unscathed he might just get a sarcastic round of applause from Tyler. Although Tyler had just left his village and started a new chapter in his life, amidst the fight that might change his future he couldn't help but feel not only the thrill of combat and his violent nature begin to claw it's way from the unique prison it was being held in called self control. However Tyler didn't want to reveal this nature to his opponent just yet. Maybe he didn't deserve to see such a sight yet and if he proved himself to be unworthy why show him something not many men before him have lived to see. It would be something he only saw when Tyler used it upon somebody else should they travel together. But in addition to Tee's test and yearn for violence he also wanted to see what this man was capable of. Maybe he had some sort of a bloodline ability or special quality about him like Tee's pure black threads. The threads which also embodied Tyler's personality in a way.

Bardo would have been rather patient with this new found individual as to not do anything to rash not truly knowing the abilities of him or either vis versa but it would seem the man five meters in front of him would have thought it would be necessary for the action of combat to see if truly they could kill each other’s boredom. Therefore, as the man before he would have seemingly slowly risen his hand Bardo would have oh so slightly leaned slightly to his side moving all of the targets that the man before him would have been aiming for and they all would have missed their targets only be an inch as if to show he could only slightly avoid the attack that some would have seemingly overreacted to and ended with them being impaled far worse than originally intended…


As the would all slowly miss the mark Bardo’s slight laugh would have stopped as any extra motion could have led to an unneeded hit which he could have avoided, the tendrils or whatever they were swiftly passed by their marks with rather great accuracy and sharpness, the thumb thread would have just slightly missed his right wrist, the pointer falling just short of making contact with his right shoulder as he would have shifted, his neck would have been tilted just slightly enough as to let the tendril pass by only allowing a breeze of air to push his hair slightly out of place with the speed that the tendrils would have had. However, the other two would have been rather annoying to dodge, the ring finger would have been avoided by the man slightly lowering his left shoulder just enough for it to pass over his vest almost hitting it’s mark being the one that would have been the most to most people scary of them all if he had to pick one, while the pinky finger would have already been avoided as he dodged it with relative ease the first time and wouldn’t have to make any adjustments seeing as it would seem this tendrils could only move in a set path not having truly any flexibility in their motions…. However, with this the man would have easily slide to the side after dodging all of the attacks that would have been aimed at him and would have seemingly made his charge toward the man that would have attacked him at a rather swift speed, he would have seemingly easily closed the five meter gap within moments as he would have slightly did a forward lunge after getting out of the way of those sharp tendrils, he would have been face to face with the man rather swiftly as he would look within his eyes it wouldn’t truly be clear as to what he was doing though with his jump his body would have slightly been tilted backwards not enough for the man to notice at first glance but what this provided while in the air was so that his body would be able to use the momentum as to which he had just built to full force raise his left leg in a straight motion as the man’s hand would have still be fully extended controlling the tendrils that would have attacked him and would have had his hand two meters away from the man’s back. With this in mind he would need to use his other free hand that was at the moment of the man’s attacked pointed downward still toward the rock that he would have been standing on…


As his leg would have been raised at his maximum speed it would be a rather difficult matter to avoid though not seemingly impossible as the man attacking would have been aimed not straight for the chin of his foe but rather aiming for his neck making it rather difficult to tell what his true target was and most movements would simply lead to solid contact with another part of the man’s face. However, the funny thing about this action would be that the jump wouldn’t have left him completely within the air for with his large stature his right foot as to which he wouldn’t have used would easily usable to push off of the rock below him if needed with enough force to create yet another opportunity. Therefore, as he would have a smirk upon his face looking at the man who would have initiated this little quarrel he would hope he could be able to dodge this little attack of his or perhaps him taking it and showing he was down for a brawl would truly show that he had the spirit that Bardo was looking for but either way if the man would avoid it coming out unscrather or perhaps taking the damage and seemingly just shrugging it off Bardo would be rather impressed….

Rather nonchalantly Tyler's straightforward tendril attack had been dodged almost to perfection by the man before him. It was almost like a movie and the guy had gone all slow motion and stuff. But nevertheless it didn't change how the course of events would go because just as the man who had just dodged his tendrils would make his way closer to close the five meter gap, Tyler himself would recall his tendrils at the same speed they were launched. Allowing them to easily beat his opponent to Tyler and to be recalled back to his fingertips inside their humble abode where they belonged long before his opponent were to reach him. Well not long before but his opponent would still be four meters away by the time they were recalled. Now obviously since his opponent was closing in he was either a taijutsu ninja or he just had some sort of a close range trick up his sleeve. Something Tyler personally wasn't exactly equipped nor was he ever the type to appreciate hand to hand combat. Lucky for Tyler at a moments notice he would remember a specific technique whose knowledge he had acquired within a scroll in his parent's abode not so long ago before he had left. It was a technique he had been attempting to master but had not even made an effort to attempt in real combat mostly for the fact that there never was any REAL combat to really test it out on.

So as the opponent closed in he remained calm and still up until the point where his opponent had made it clear a physical attack was coming his way. Once he elevated off the ground Tee's skin would take upon a dark shade of brown. Almost greyish if one had to put words to it. However this change in skin color wasn't merely for show, oh no it would yield Tyler with a large defensive boost. His body being fully encased in this change of color, he had succeeded in the midst of combat a technique he thought he would never master. It was the combination of the adrenaline and that violence of his half revealing itself that gave him the will to perform such an untrained unpracticed technique in such short notice. He was proud of himself, even though it wasn't like he couldn't kill the man before him or even dodge the kick that was now coming his way, he just felt empowered with the fact that he was capable of such great leaps when it came to learning of jutsu. Ones chakra control had to be keen to control doton in such a way and with such speed it was almost instantaneous. The kick would connect with Tyler's chin as the attacker intended however the attack would yield no damage to the victim. If anything the attack to Tyler felt like somebody attempting to poke him and felt annoying more than it hurt. He lifted his head up with the kick for dramatic effect as if the kick had connected but remained grounded on the rock he stood upon from the beginning. Honestly the man before him had passed the initial test because nobody Tyler knew had enough balls to attack him in the first place and enough skill to dodge an attack such as the one he launched as simple to Tyler it might be. 

The man before him whom had just landed a kick on his chin intrigued him to no end but that wasn't relevant right now. The man obviously was in a fighting moment and weather he had techniques to show Tyler or not he would not get a chance to show them off anyway because Tyler was putting an end to the fight right now. Before the opponent had a chance to attack again as futile as the attack would be Tee said right after being kicked 

"Although it was short it said a lot, this "fight" is over, you can calm down now i merely wanted to softly gauge and test your skills, you intrigue me to say that the least and that is not an easy task, I think I'm going to keep you around" 

Tyler wasn't giving him a choice nor was he asking him to join him or follow him whatever the man choose to believe was happening. Regardless he didn't have a choice about coming with Tyler because should he deny the proposition or ever if he attempted to continue fighting death was certain and then he would be coming with Tyler in spirit and in heart, because Tyler would quite literally steal his heart out of his chest. And as much as he needed a heart for a multitude of reasons he was content with not having one for now to have somebody to aid him in his ventures of life. Whatever it was that he wanted to do in life, it had better coincide with Tyler and wherever they were going because he was going to have to make it work. But to be honest, what Tyler thinks intriguing him the most about this individual was the fact that he was similar to Tyler himself, in the fact that he honestly didn't give many fucks and in his own way was probably hoping to use Tyler just as much as Tyler hoped to use him. Whatever was to happen though they were bound to be together at least for now and their next steps would have to indeed be discussed however, Tyler had not thought that far ahead.

He thought for a moment and listened to the man before him, Tyler himself had planned to ask this very question of the name of the man he had just fought, if you could call it that. However he was asked first and he would respond sharply.

"The names Ty-, *ahem* i mean the name's Tee, he corrected himself "what about you?"

He honestly didn't want this individual no matter how much he intrigued Tyler to know his true name. In his world knowing somebodies name is having a sort of power over them so to speak. Some might not see it the same way he did but he really believed it to be true. In certain lore you it is said you can control a demon or have power over them simply by knowing their true names and Tyler took this very seriously no matter how false it could be. Tee was to be his name to this man, maybe one day he would get his TRUE name which really wasn't anything special to be honest but hey it was power and power couldn't be given to those unworthy. The brownish cloak of earth began to dissipate from Tee's skin leaving him how he once was, not completely and utterly defenseless but with significantly less strength and resilience that he once had not moments before. But now it was official to say the least he had agreed to being with Tyler on an adventure but a big thing was, where the hell would they go? To be honest it was pretty fucking important, but then he realized, if they were to be traveling together it would make sense to have a base of some sort, a home ground that should they ever get separated or should they need a place to lay low for a while that they could go to, to do so. Also since it couldn't hurt to get stronger it would be possible to train there, for this a minor village was probably the best option as one would draw less attention to themselves there and even if they were discovered their rouge status was probably not going to be identified. But then that begged the question where were they to go? But that was something that was most likely up to Tyler himself.

So it was obviously a better decision to go to a minor village as opposed to a major village, but which one? Honestly the more he thought about it the more he really didn't give a fuck and the best option was probably to just walk around aimlessly but he did that initially and look where that had gotten him. Right back where he started in his home village so instead of doing that Tyler merely decided to ask the man himself.

"And also since we are traveling, where should we go my sense of direction is trash"

He said with a devilish half hearted smile.
