Apparently Team Risako is a Thing now [P]

Mako always skilled at reading the situation could tell his entranc had put everyone off just a bit and had allowed for everyone to show their true selves instead of who they wanted him to see them as.  Mako knew he was a jerk and knew he rubbed people the wrong way but deep down he kinda liked everyone.  

He shifted on the steps and leaned forward elbows on his knees face toward the ground. He Sighed loudly as he reached back into his pouch.  He stood still looking at the ground and produced a cigarette. He could feel the tension in the air and he could cut it with his knife almost. He didn't have to look to know that ryugia would have his sharing an active prepped to back up risako, otlr that risako would be on edge not knowing whether he meant to challenge her or not.  And he really figured zennal wouldn't want to take sides but would take sides with his captain when push came shove.  He knew without a doubt that in his current strength Ryugia and Risako would put him down no problem.

"Risako.... " He said letting the words hang in the air, as he put the cigarette in his mouth and lit it.

"This is your team, I'm not much of a leader anyway.  The fact that you offered us a chance to challenge you for leadership tells me you doubt yourself.  Don't. I didn't even see you throw that fucking ball.  You have my respect."

"Ryugia the Sarutobi clan carries with them the Will of Fire and it burns in my blood. We may not get along but I will have your back. Always."

"And Zennal don't underestimate yourself..."

He looks up and smiles with a the half smoked cigarette hanging out of his mouth and cackle loudly for a decently long time as he said " Well it was nice to meet everyone I'll see you all at the Kage building tomorrow." Smiling as he walks away.

Underneath Ryugia's folded hands, he was smiling. Everything went well. He now knew who Mako really was. Underneath all the gruff, and roughness, Mako was just like Ryugia. They wanted nothing more than to have a unified team, and be able to take care of their friends. Ryugia would make it a point to be a lot nicer tomorrow. Before mako was completely out of ear shot he said in a quiet voice just loud enough for Mako to hear. "And I'll have your back, even to the end." 

Once mako was gone, Ryugia too stood up. He looked into Risako's eyes for a moment. Even though it was silly he almost felt like if he looked hard enough he could really see into her heart. No such luck it seemed. Instead he turned his head, and began to head back to the uchiha district. He moved slowly, but with a purpose, until something made him stop. He didn't turn back, and he spoke very evenly. " he's right you know. You are a good leader. How fast you can throw a ball though, has nothing to do with it. What makes you a good leader, is in how you act, and how you treat others. Those you lead see the path you take, and will either respect you for it, or despise you for it. What you must learn is to not stray from your chosen path. Don't try to just please others, be yourself, and be confident in the choices you make. Especially the ones you make for this team. I've been away for a little while, but I think even in that small amount of time, both you and I have grown up a little bit more. We've been forced to get older, and become more mature, faster than most. We've been through some tough experiences together, but we are now all the stronger for it. To get to the point... I believe in you. Remember I've got your back. If you ever need someone to lean on, I'll be there."

With that Ryugia continued on. His foot steps slowly fading away as he made his way home. Though he had become good at masking his emotions, and acting far more mature for his age, he was still just a 16 year old, and he was excited for what tomorrow would bring.

This meeting and certainly gone out the wayside in Zennal's opinion, but things seemed to go along a bit better. When Risako offered to fight for leadership, Zennal decided against fighting the Chuunin who was much stronger than him for obvious reasons. He was weak right now, plain and simple. "Nah, I don't wanna fight you. You've got plenty of leadership skills."

This meeting grew even weirder when it came to Mako who he had already labeled as the kind of rough and gruff guy who doesn't feel. Then he let out that what could be labeled as kindness. And while he said to him to not doubt himself, he had no idea where it came from. Sure, he doubts literally everything, but he just wondered where it came from. Maybe what he last said could have been interpreted like that, but whatever. In the mean time, he decided not to respond, lest he break the moment.

As Mako left, all Zennal did was give him a slight wave, albeit with his pinkieless right hand. Then Ryugia came along and made his own little feel slap. Good to know the team was unified at least. It was then that he learned that Ryugia and Risako-Sensei - Yes he was gonna start saying that- Had some history. That was a shocker. Whatever. It wasn't his buisness to add anything, lest they get mad and kick him off the team or worse.

Well, when Ryugia was on his way out, Zennal simply stood up and said "Well, that was fun." Before making his way down the steps, and stood beside Risako for a moment, before asking "...Wanna grab some food?" It was simple and to the point. Either way, he needed to eat before going back to his lonely apartment.

Risako kind of smiled and chuckled as Mako said what he had to and walked away. She didn't say anything to him of course, but that's because she didn't feel she needed too. They would all find out very soon, except Ryugia who already knew, that she was the kinda person to take your attitude and reflect it back at you. Hence why she challenged the smoking monkey at first. 

Despite the somewhat negative air that loomed over their heads at first, she could tell that this team would likely turn out to be great, if not in skill, at least they'd be fun to hang out with. The small feels trip brought on by Ryugia would prompt Risako to respond with "And I too, friend." Sure, maybe Ryugia put a lot more work into his feelsy speech, but Risako figured they had known one another long enough that he knew that those four words held a bit more then they seemed to. 

After that, she was pretty sure they were done here, until she heard Zennal's voice. Having thought that he had already left, Risako scratched the back of her neck as her face turned a little red. At first, she slowly said a confused "Suuurree," that picked up into her normal cheery disposition, "Yea! Actually, I'm hungry, lets go!" She had hoped to cover up the delay in the sure, so that he had no suspicion that he was for gotten. Kinda like trying to change the subject, but also keeping relevant to the conversation. She would then try to usher him off of her steps, and into the pathways and roads, saying "I know this sweet little ramen shop, lets go, I'm buying." Hopefully, whether he figured that she had kind of forgotten about or not, he would just come along.

[Just fade to black on the eating stuff. Exit.]

When Risako-sensei made the confused sure, he felt like smacking his forehead. He had probably been forgotten, but he didn't care. He was still on the team, and that was a plus! Besides, they were gonn ago get food now anyways, and he was pretty hungry. So, he hopped off the steps, and said "Alright! Lead the way, Risako-Sensei!" He grinned like the child he was. A soft grumble came from Zennal, as he scratched the back of his head, and chuckled out "Sorry about that. Guess I'm hungrier than I thought I was" As the pair walked away, Zennal didn't even worry about anything. For one of the few times since he lost the pinkie and entered the orphanage, he felt like nothing would go wrong in the future, and that he wouldn't die young.
