Malvoes watches the events transpire, blood thirsty psychopaths all of them. As the kid with glasses shouts a challenge to all of the shinobi, other than himself presumably, Malvoes edges back till he's about 8 meters away from the events. He keeps Mantis in front of him, slightly to the left, half hovering, half standing, ready for everything and anything to happen, Malvoes tightens his bandanna around his mouth slightly and as he does he signals his insects, telepathically of course, and they start coming through his pores, a small cloud (33 to be exact) of them hover around his shoulders and arms, keeping close to him as he's instructed them. He discreetly reaches into his weapon pouch, pulling out one of his smoke bombs, holding it in his right hand just to have it ready for a distraction.

As none of the others looked like they were even getting ready to fight, Hysterio would have ended up running at Mitako, who appeared to be going on the defensive. Remembering his ability with the sand, Hysterio noticed that it seemed to be better now, Mitako looked to be preparing a shield or something with the sand. Continuing to run, now at a full 50 speed (the cap yo), Hysterio would be
Focusing on the chakra signatures around him, Hysterio could sense all of the others, including one fellow who was backing up a bit. Of course, inclination to fight, and physical skill, were both unrelated to chakra, or at least did not have a strong correlation, but it was a fair bet that Mitako, who had displayed cool abilities before, would be the strongest threat if any. Hysterio would take him down first, then maybe the kiddo that was walking towards the middle of the arena. As he ran, well, there was a skill that he wanted to acquire, that of moving at full speed instantly. Unfortunately, he would have to practice first, though a trial by fire always worked best.
Still running at full speed at Mitako, a full 7 meters away, he watched carefully for movement from the sand he had seen Mitako control before. If he got to 2 meters away from Mitako, he would swing both swords at Mitako, forming an X shaped pattern in front of him, starting with his arms fully bent, his forearms crossed below his chin with his swords held next to his head, the sword hilts held near his ears. The blades would swing out, he would hold the blades, angling them back slightly so that if they hit, Mitako would merely be slashed in an X shape pattern, which would possibly leave scars, and hopefully remove him from the fight, but would not cut entirely through him like was probably possible, since leaving Mitako in 4 pieces would not make anybody happy, though Hysterio would probably get his wish to fight a Biju fulfilled at that time.

Mitako listened to the foot steps of someone making a move for the center of the room, but Mitako didn't take note, instead, he was solely focused on Hysterio. He figured that if no one had taken Hysterio up on his challenge, that he would pick a target. Knowing Hysterio, he knew that the target probably wasn't randomly chosen either. Mitako, being a semi-smart (not,) kid decided that a quick counter attack followed by retreat would be a decent option in prolonging his activity in the blood games. He allowed Hysterio to approach him, and as he came within two meters, and prepared to attack, Mitako would flick his hand, causing a body sized wall of sand to the left of Hysterio to shoot up and into Hysterio's side. The impact would be as strong as it could possibly be, and would hopefully knock Hysterio closer to the center, surely more than two meters.
After, Mitako began to back pedal to the wall of the arena as fast as he could go, ninjato in one hand, senbon in the other, and his sand at his heels. He also began spurring up his bijuu chakra, just in case Hyst started with another assault. He didn't exactly look behind him to check, but he had about seven meters between him and the wall of the Colosseum.

This seemed to be a fun time, for Goon anyways, he wanted to test the ability he held. Just to see who it would work on here, someday he may have to tweak it to be better but for now he had to make due with what he had. Pumping chakra into the seal he'd test it on the kid with glasses, and the one controlling sand, the others were being chicken shits and staying next to wall like a bunch of pansies. In Goon's eyes that was a mistake as it cut off their chances to escape. Maybe they had something up their sleeves.
Pushing his chakra he'd use the technique on the two closest to him. Just a mere millisecond after the wall of sand would go flying at the nerds side. If he managed to escape the attack then Goon would release the sand kid. For he was needed for now, at it seemed he was the one, that could give the nerd the most problem. Yes, very needed, Goon had to be smart, if the sand hit and sent hyst flying, Goon would bring his aura into play, and close the distance between him, hyst and Mitako. Mitako would not peddle back towards the wall, for he'd be stuck. No Goon wasn't gonna let him run away. Back to the if, Goon distance closed due to the blue aura, the embodiment of a Kiri soul. He'd attempt to kick the swords as far away from nerd as possible, as he was going through the air. Judging Goon was only about 10 meters from the two of them th ed distance would close in a mere few seconds.
[Will add up ap, next post, laziness]

He remained by the entrance he came through, watching as things began to unfold. To him, everything almost felt like a flash, and before he knew it the first attack was launched. One of the contestants ran at the "sandman" (as he shall now dub him), using their weapons and preparing to slash out at the targeted genin. However it was when the contestant with glasses started running that Rinto began to plan and act. Attack, or sit back and wait for some kind of opening? He would most likely seem afraid and weak if he went with the latter, although it seemed like a sound plan, for now.
He didn't have much in his arsenal, and his physical capabilities weren't all too great. But he had to be of some use in this battle. Otherwise... who knows what could happen if he didn't. They would consider him a weak link and immediately eliminate him first. He didn't want that, for he didn't know whether or not the contestants were allowed to kill in this battle. And in all honesty death scared him. Terribly. Yes, he wouldn't be missed, but where would he go? What would happen next? Was there even a next?
These thoughts raced through his head at an alarming rate, feeling like hours for Rinto but mere seconds in reality. He didn't want to die yet, he couldn't die yet. Not yet. He had to do something, anything. It happened when the contestant in glasses was mere seconds away from preparing his slash. Rinto was indeed a fair distance away from the duo, 9 meters to be exact. His brain automatically noticed this and on instinct he moved forward at half his speed (13), bringing him a bit closer. As he did so the boy's left arm suddenly shot out, releasing a golden chain with a hook at the end, heading straight towards thenerd person in glasses at full speed (50). It would reach just before the sand was launched towards his side, the chain coming in from the northwest. If allowed to, the chain would wrap around the stranger's ankle, leading into Rinto stopping his run and pulling his hand back. If successful, the chain would force the contestant to slightly fall back. It would leave him unprepared for upcoming attacks, hopefully.
It was all Rinto could do, but he definitely wasn't going to sit back and be useless. He needs to survive and live through this.
(Activated one chain, so 110-20 = 90 AP leftover. If there are any problems tell me and I'll edit v_v)

The events that transpired before him only bolstered his thoughts, blood thirsty psychopaths, all of them. First we have the homicidal dual wielding glasses berserker, next is the sand ninja acting all cool and collected as he moves around the very ground beneath us, following that is a guy rushing into battle with a blue glow, and to top it all off is two chainz himself!!
...
Probably not but still this is insane and rather chaotic. Malvoes, fully knowing that he's outgunned so to speak, is going to not rush into his doom. He would stay back, bringing out more insects from his pores to join the swarm.[Making the total 66] He can tell just about everyone here could easily take him out he decides to wait, and observe the actions of these fellow ninja, letting a plan formulate in his mind, hopefully when the time comes Mantis will be up to the task.

Hmmm. Mitako was not running, meaning he had something up his sleeve. So did someone else, since Hysterio did notice one of the others approaching through his chakra sensory, but he did not notice that someone else making a chain and then wrapping it around his ankle. In fact, Hysterio only noticed that someone had grabbed him when the chain began pulling back, this being mid-step, forcing Hysterio to take a step backwards instead due to his having difficulty balancing. Hysterio’s step backwards would happen at the same time as Mitako flicked his hand, the sand shooting up from his left towards Hysterio, the body sized wall of sand starting next to the wall about 3 meters next to Hysterio. Due to the distance, the sand would miss, as Hysterio would turn to face the other challenger, pivoting on the foot wrapped in chain towards the one behind him along the stone section of the arena (Rinto, though they have not been introduced, who had sent the chain at him). Not wanting to give away too much yet, Hysterio began running at the other fellow, who was running towards him, not backpedalling like Mitako, who would take some time to change direction again if he wanted to pursue Hysterio who would be soon out of range again.
If Hysterio was able to get close enough again, he would swing his swords, aiming for the same X shaped cut. Mitako could wait, he didn’t want annoying chains everywhere, so he would make Mitako go on the defense if he was to have any team mates. In the mean time, while he approached the boy who had launched the chains, Hysterio would hold his swords out to either side, one still in each hand, carefully noting the positions of each other combatant, and Xyxer as well, and their positions relative to him.

Due to the momentary loss of control of his body, Mitako would not wind up pedaling backwards, instead, he would remain in place and watch as some chain wrapped around Hysterio's ankle. (Since Hyst did avoid the paralysis, I'm assuming Mitako was released of the paralysis too.) Since Hysterio only barely avoided the sand due to some fluke, and was stumbling around backwards within the overall range of the sand control, Mitako would remain persistent in trying to hammer his opponent around. Really, he wasn't sure if the force would do anything to Hysterio through the armor, but ate the very least it seemed to do something. As soon as Hysterio began stepping backwards, Mitako would step forwards at the same pace, keeping Hyst at three meters away.
Whether or not Hysterio turned his attention to the chain boy, or kept his attention on Mitako, the jinchuriki would thrust his hand that clenched the senbon forward, causing the sand that had scattered from the previous attack to lurch forward at full speed towards Hysterio, again, with full power and the same size. This would happen right as Hysterio stopped stepping backwards.

Goon paid very close attention to the events that transpired, as he used the technique and released it just as fast. Goon who would more than likely be moving at full speed(40), was in shock. As the nerd in front of his side was off balanced by a chain, that was wrapped around his ankle, shot out by the youngest one in this contest. Goon could almost taste the fear that came off the two on the outskirts of the arena even though they were still close to it all. No, no, no they gotta snap out of this. This is what would get them killed, they must feel this more as a battle royale than a team effort for blood. His thoughts ran in his head, communicating with Mukuro, Goon knew after, if they got the chuunin down, it was a free for all. But that didn't matter at this moment what mattered was the easiest way to survive and as pack they would do more damage than a lone wolf. That's what they needed to be. but how?
You must get them to work together, my dear Goon, release the beasts in all of them remove their fears. This is all I'll tell you, but I'll be here, remember you're smart you that thick head of yours. The words of Mukuro echoed through Goon's head, in the tiniest fractions of a second, he playing things out through his head, but he didn't have much time to think, he just had to act as they would have to do. But he came up with something in his mind. If the chains were physical enough to grasp a leg Goon should of been able to pull on them. He moved towards the young'n when he was about a few meters away, he'd grasp the chain and shout at Rinto, "PULL!" as Goon himself did using all the strength he had, if this succeeded, seeing as how hyst would be to busy catching his balance and trying to dodge sand, it should of knocked him to the ground. AS Hyst was on the ground or even just trying to catch his balance more, Goon would shout again, "SANDY!!! PUMMEL HIM!!! This just left the bug guy, who Goon would shout at as well, he couldn't just leave him left out, that'd be rude.
"DON'T JUST STAND THERE LIKE A FOOL, DO SOMETHING! ANYFUCKINGTHING TO HELP. OR SO HELP ME I WILL KILL YOU MYSELF!!!!!" For a somewhat emotionless person, Goon's face showed seriousness, but his eyes showed bloodlust. One final shout, "FUCK YOUR THOUGHTS! FUCK YO FEELINGS! FUCK THE FIGHT! JOIN THE PACK AND SURVIVE OR DIE!!!! Goon wanted his words to be heard through all of Kiri but that'd be impossible. Atleast those in the arena would hear it, it was Goon's way of saying whether they were trying to kill each other or not, they were apart of a group, a dysfunctional family, in short terms. Even if they just met, or not, they were all a part of something bigger, and stronger together. This they needed to remember that or be reminded of.

(Just noticed something in your post Hyst. I stated Rinto stopped running once the chain wrapped around your ankle in order to pull. A really small thing but I just wanted to say it. Btw sorry for the delay everyone.)
As he thought would happen, the chain threw off the other contestant's balance, and he was left trying to regain it. But, wait. The sand that sandman had aimed for him had missed as a result. Sweat began to pour down the side of Rinto's head at the sight. No, he had to trust in the others... that they would be able to use this moment to their advantage, somehow. However, what happened next caught him off guard. One of the other genin had appeared by him and grasped the chain, yelling at him to pull. Honestly confused just a bit shocked, Rinto acted off adrenaline and instinct once more, doing as he was told and pulling the chain with even more strength than before.
"Shit, shit, shit...!" he mumbled, honestly being a bit worried for once in his entire lifetime. He was contemplating on using another chain, but his chakra reserves were already limited. Another one would probably drain him. But then he heard the words of the other contestant, the one helping him pull. "Join the pack and survive or die"... words Rinto actually began to store in his memory. It was indeed a free for all, but right now, they had to work together... he couldn't be fearing anything right now...
(90-5 = 85 ap left for chain upkeep.)
