The crowd of villagers dispersed as Xyxer gave his approval, he also sent one of his anbu out, for some reason or another, he then left. This was an eventful time, combat with people I've never met who were also allies and are once again allies. But that's mostly a nonsense thought process. I won! And I'm a chuunin! All was good, well other than having to repair Mantis from this little excursion but that was simple enough. He turned to the other competitors and smiled,"Well, that was fun." And he then proceeded to leave, heading through the streets and returning to his workshop to fix Mantis is he planned.

Yazu placed his right hand flat against the ground and hoisted himself up, it was the only arm he could rely on as his left side had been ravaged by shurikens.  The blood from the exit wounds dripped down to the sand leaving  crimson stains.  It would appear to him they were all waiting for him to find the strength and join in on the ritual at hand.  Yazu knew it would take a moment to muster the strength to do so, but he refused to fail.  Failure was punishable by death in his own eyes, so why would he assume it would be any different in the eyes of the Mizukage. 

The boy managed to make it up off the ground and onto his feet.  His right arm now clutching his left shoulder and every step toward the ceremony chamber led to him dragging his left leg along the ground.  His face winced in pain slightly with every step but he fought the involuntary twitches with all his might to avoid showing weakness.  Though it would be impossible to hide it all. 

After a moment whilst the others were doing their ceremonies he would make it over, passing the other downed genin.  He considered for a moment helping him, but deciding not to as he didnt know if he had enough energy to make it to the blood pool himself.  Just as the last contestant finished their ritual and began passing off the knife Yazu would make it up to the festivities.  He would grab the knife by the blade with his right hand and clench it tightly.  The blade would dig into his palm and fingers sending more than a trickle pouring out as a light stream of red came from the bottom of his hand to the location where the other's blood was dripped.  He would then bow to Xyxer the master of the whole ceremony and the first time he had ever been this close to the Mizukage offering no words or witty retort, as the good ones had been used.  He limped his way over to stand where the others were and wait for the ceremony to finish.  A smile drawn across his face, now and until well after the ceremony had ended and he would simply think to himself. "I fucking love this village"
