kaguya family reunion. (p) (NK) Kaguya kotsuzui

John awoke yet again after a nightmare. John was covered head to toe in sweat. John had no recollection of what the nightmare was about, but it sure made him catapult up from a lying down position often seen in television and movies. John panted heavily and rubbed his face while shaking his head and grumbling. Usually, John would be used to these kind of nightmares but this one was quite difficult. something about it jarred him to the bone. (no pun intended). John took a quick shower and washed his face during his shower. John then put on his clothes, and ate some breakfast. When John was done, John went to the training grounds after he locked his door.As John headed to the training grounds, John noticed that the sun shone brighter than usual. At least he'd get the D-vitamins as he went to the training grounds. John smiled as he walked past the village gates as he headed to the training grounds. When John got there, John left the gates open behind him and he began to stretch his legs and arms. When John was done, John began to jog around the training grounds as a warm-up. John jogged around the area for 10 laps as he jogged normally.

The training grounds looked as normal as he remembers it. There was a lake off to the side which was 50 meters across to the other side. There were training dummies set up, boards for kunai and shuriken to be thrown at. There were trees scattered about in a random order. It was just beautiful to look at. It was too bad that it was gonna get "destroyed".

John then jogged to the side, and to his own admittance, it looked silly. John didn't care as he was told that this was a good way to warm up. He sure hoped so, otherwise that guy who told him that is gonna get a VERY ANGRY Kaguya after him. That person would rue the day he made a fool out of John Kaguya. This he swore on.

After John had jogged backwards, he got on the ground and started doing push-ups. As he was doing this, he began to wonder where that person was, the man who gave him the scars on his body. The man who destroyed his life. That man was going to get it full force. that man was going to pay dearly for what he did towards John.

John had made 50 pushups, and he was panting heavily as he lied on his back. boy was it tough to do that. He had more to train, and it was going to be tough, but John had to fight through. John calmed down and breathed in from his nose and breathed out from his mouth. He repeated this several times until he caught his breath. John then got up with a kip-up and started to move his feet with the speed of 41 quickly. back and forth, back and forth. like a boxer. John punched the air with the speed of 41 and strength of 41 multiple times, and at different angles and at different directions, as if he was fighting an imaginary opponent with his hands. John also ducked and weaved as he shifted his positions. to the left, to the right. John's movements had to be crucial in how he moved, so that he could attack and dodge.

John was then done with fighting an imaginary opponent and then turned around and fired finger bullets at a tree that was 25 meters away from him. All 10 finger bullets launched themselves towards the tree bark with the speed of 41, and they pierced the tree bark and went clean through the tree.  John smiled at how strong the finger bullets were. John rested his hands at his hips and smiled and nodded. He was becoming stronger and better.John fired the finger bullets at another tree that was 25 meters across from his current position with the speed and strength of 41, and once again the bullet fingers pierced the tree bark. John looked around the 500 meter long training ground that he had sprinted across, and it was massive. sure, he didn't mean it to be 500 meters across, more like 2 city blocks together. or rather, 4 city blocks together.

John heard the gate open behind him that was 20 meters away from him and he swiftly turned around. John cracked his neck to the left and waited for this person to reveal themselves upon John. If they were interesting, then John would find some good in them. He would also get to know them even better, by fighting. John had hoped that this would prove very interesting and good for his time.

It was another one of those mornings, the mornings where Kotsuzui woke up with an extremely dry and grimy mouth, and a pounding headache. Like most days, Kotsuzui had spent the previous night drinking till there as no tomorrow. Thus, it lead to him forgetting most of the previous night the morning after as well as being hung over. He could feel the dehydration in his mouth. It was not a feeling the Kaguya was particularly fond of, but he always enjoyed the nights before and found in the end it was well worth it. From experience, Kotsuzui realized that the best way to get rid of a pounding hangover headache, was to get out of bed and on with your day. So that is what he did. Forcing himself up out of his bed, he slowly made his way over to his kitchen sink with heavy feet as he poured himself a glass of water. Chugging the glass, Kotsuzui quickly got rid of the nasty taste in his mouth. Next on his list, take a shower. He could feel the sweat and dirt on his body from the previous night, and though it reminded him of his eventful night, he wanted to be nice a clean for the day. Quickly showering, Kotsuzui got dressed in his regular get up. He put on his black kimono with a white lining on the perimeter of his attire. By how strong the sun was shinning through his window he could tell it was not a cold day and therefore did not need to bring his scarf. After tying his kimono with his belt the bore his Konoha plate in the center of it, he proceeded to tying his crimson red hair into a pony tail as he always did to keep it from getting in the way of his face. After all, why would he want to hide something so visually appealing? Strapping his two weapon pouches onto the back of his belt, Kotsuzui reached for a few tiny bottles of alcohol and slipped them into his pouch, for later maybe. He then grabbed an apple on his way out the door, the apple being the only thing he needed for breakfast today.

The sun's rays felt surprisngly refreshing on Kotsuzui's face, and he was happy most of the days in Konoha were usually like this. When he was a kid and constantly moving around with his mother, he could not remember any other place having weather as nice as Konoha's. The Kaguya was forever grateful for this village taking him and his mother in. He would be forever in their dept. Strolling through the streets of Konoha, Kotsuzui dug in to his apple as he aimlessly wondered around the streets of Konoha, have not particular destination in mind. At the moment, he was planning on taking the day moment by moment. And if it lead to nothing, he would probably just end up finding himself at another bar getting drunk like most of his days ended up.

As he walked around Konoha, he came across the training grounds. The sight of the training grounds reminded Kotsuzui of the last time he was here. The last time he had been to the training grounds was when he trained with Zero, also a member of the Kaguya clan, the second person to have trained Kotsuzui. He was the one who taught Kotsuzui the Kaguya abilities that he knew. He wondered what had become of Zero, where he was and what he was up to. Kotsuzui intended on finding him again one day once he got stronger. So the next time Kotsuzui would be able to put up more of a fight and so Zero could show him a few more moves from the Kaguya clan. He was quickly cut off from his train of thought when he caught sight of someone who was training on his own. The guy had a relatively strong figure from what Kotsuzui could see. He could also see that the parts of his body that were not covered in clothing were scarred up, pretty bad too. This guy may be an experienced Shinobi if he's that scarred, maybe he could teach Kotsuzui a thing or two if that were the case. After standing out of sight for a while and watching the guy train, Kotsuzui was caught off guard when he noticed the one training shoot his finger tips out and into a tree. "He's a Kaguya as well!" he said to himself. He had no idea there was another member of the Kaguya clan in the village and it excited him to know that there was. Kotsuzui decided that he could probably use a training partner as training with someone was always better than training alone.

Kotsuzui tossed the remains of his apple into a bush off to the side knowing some vermin would pick it up as he made his way over to the gate entrance. Kotsuzui purposely opened the gate slowly so that it could make as much noise as possible and grab the other Kaguya's attention. To his luck, it worked. The guy turned around and cracked his neck, as if he were waiting for someone to show up and spar with him. As Kotsuzui's purple eyes set upon John's, he could not help but grin. "I noticed you using the Ten Finger Drilling Bullets technique just now. You're a member of the Kaguya clan, aren't you?" as the grin on his face spread wider, the thirst for a fight coursing through his veins. "You know, I wasn't too impressed with your use of the skill. Your technique was a bit off." Kotsuzui was obviously wrong, John's use of the skill was as good as any, but one of Kotsuzui's favorite things to do was instigate people. Especially if it meant it would lead to a spar. "It looks like you could use someone to train with, you know, so you become less sloppy with your techniques. What do you say?" as Kotsuzui placed his hands behind his head, grin on his face, waiting for the fellow Kaguya to respond. Kotsuzui purposely withheld the fact he was a Kaguya also, he wanted to catch the guy off guard.

John smiled at the man, as the man's smile was infectious. "well, i am quite a strong guy, but i do need some training." John sniffed and rubbed his mouth that was under his nose. "i guess you are right. my ten finger drilling bullets does need some training. And i could use some bit of spar to get better at fighting." John said. "however, i am a bit unsure as if i'll make it or not. i mean. winning or losing isn't necessary, right?" John said as he moved closer to the man. John stretched out his right hand to shake the man's other right hand. introducing yourself was the bread and butter to the path of friendliness and getting friends. "name's John Kaguya." John smiled at the man even more. after he had shook his hand, John stepped backwards until he stood 5 meters away from the man. John breathed in from his nose, taking in the crisp air that was flowing throughout the land, and then exhaled as he was feeling fresh.

"so, what are you up to doing? sparring? training with me? what?" John stretched out his arms to the sides as he spoke. John himself didn't know what he wanted to do with this guy. Maybe he wanted a spar, and if he wanted it, then he'll get it. "if it's a spar you want, then it's a spar you'll get." John made a fighting stance and was physically ready, but not mentally. John stretched out his left leg out 5 centimeters and then bent his knee. With the other leg, he stretched his right leg out 10 centimeters and bend his foot 45 degrees to the left. John then made the hand wave that says: "come at me." John smiled as he was a little bit ready now. he was now gonna see how strong his opponent was. something told him that he was stronger than he was. of course, this was a bit obvious as there always seemed to be stronger opponents out there. but this was a good way for him to shape up and become stronger. that is how you get stronger and better in fights: by fighting someone who was better and stronger than you. that was the only way.

John could feel the electricity in the air. there was going to be a fight between him and the man. This was going to be exciting. John grinned mentally as John was preparing himself. this was gonna be good.

When John smiled back at Kotsuzui, he could tell right away that he was a member of the Kaguya clan. Just by the way he smiled you could tell that he had that thirst for a fight, much like Kotsuzui had. He said he was a strong guy, which if he had been telling the truth it would only be better for Kotsuzui. Fighting someone stronger would only make himself stronger. But Kotsuzui wanted to find out if this Kaguya was indeed strong like he said, so he was going to instigate or rather push him to his limit. See how far he could go. He started rambling about something but Kotsuzui had no idea what he was talking about, so he simply chose not to say anything in respond. So the Kaguya proceeded to approaching Kotsuzui, eventually closing the distance between them completely and was now standing directly in front of him. "He wants to have an introduction, I guess that makes sense" Kotsuzui said to himself when the Kaguya stuck his arm out. Kotsuzui returned the expression of friendliness and shook the one known as John Kaguya. "Strong grip you got there John" Kotsuzui said. "The names Kotsuzui, Kaguya Kotsuzui. Nice to meet a fellow member of the Kaguya clan." After the introduction John backed up, only leaving about five meters of space between the two Kaguya members.

John then began talking, asking him what he wanted to do and if he wanted to spar. Kotsuzui was somewhat confused at the moment. Just moments ago he had asked John if he wanted to spar together, but now John was asking Kotsuzui if he wanted to spar. Did he have some kind of memory problem, short term memory loss maybe? Or maybe he received to many poundings along with all those scars on his body and it has affected his brain. Whatever the case was, it was pretty clear the two Kaguya members were willing to spar with one another. Kaguya with Kaguya, Kotsuzui was excited.

John got down into some kind of fighting stance and with one of his arms he signaled Kotsuzui to come and attack him. Just standing there with his arms behind his head, Kotsuzui waited for a moment. "Classic move. Get the other guy to attack first to judge his strength. Then make a counter attack. Typical for weak people to do, done out of fear of making the first move because you may be too weak." Kotsuzui was at it again, trying to instigate John like he loved to do. "I thought you said you were strong, John?" Kotsuzui then removed both his arms form behind his head and began twirling one while the other rested on his shoulder. "I think you may have misjudged your own strength, why don't you prove me wrong there buddy?"

Jin strolled through the village, casually making his way to the training grounds where Kotsuzui told the Yamanaka he was going to be. His Kaguya ally was apparently going to look for a fight, so Jin thought he would drop by to watch the show. The young blonde haired Yamanaka was wearing his usual white t-shirt with the breast pocket, navy blue cotton shorts cut above the knees, hand me down used shinobi boots, and for the first time, his real katana tucked into his waist band with the Konoha headguard belt buckle. Also strapped to his waist band, but above his backside, were two fat ninja gear pouches.
 

The genin finally arrived to the designated training ground, and immediately scanned the area with his icy blue eyes, searching for a head of long crimson hair. It didn't take too long before Jin spotted Kotsuzui, who was already standing with some other guy. Approaching, Jin didn't get too close to them - they would have to shout for him to hear what they were saying - but at least now he was close enough to get a clear view of what was going on. The two seemed to be talking, probably goading each other to attack, from the looks of it. Jin smirked and crossed his arms as he observed. "Classic Kots..." he thought to himself as he shook his head.

John smiled. maybe this guy wanted John to start the fight. by the sound of it, he was an instigator. John chuckled as he shifted his position a bit. now his feet were standing shoulder to shoulder as well as his arms. John's fists where clenched as if he was going to do something.John crossed his arms, and uncrossed them. And when he did that, John unleashed the dance of the larch technique. bones popped out from his shoulder blades, pectoral muscles,abdomen and back. John felt a rush coursing through his entire body and mind.John smiled as he dragged his right foot 7 centimeters backwards as he bent his left knee.and then launched himself towards kotsuzui with the speed of 82. with the strength of 82 and the speed of 82, John punched at kotsuzui aimed at kotsuzui's left temple with his right hand clenched into a fist.if the attack hit, then kotsuzui would most likely fly backwards. John would then dash towards him and punch him aimed at his right cheek on his face using a hook punch aimed with a 45 degree angle. John would then follow up with a straight kick with his left leg aimed at his sternum. John would then cross his arms and fire all of his finger bullets aimed at kotsuzui.all of the finger bullets were in a spread pattern, so if he dodged either to the left or right, he'd get a hit. of course, if kotsuzui jumped up or dodged, then he'd be fine.

John would then jump backwards 5 meters and fire off another set of finger bullets towards kotsuzui. and John kept on going until he had 40 bullets traveling at the speed of 41 towards kotsuzui to see what he would do. after about 2 seconds that John had fired the last set of ten finger drilling bullets, John would dash towards kotsuzui and then run around him and attack him from behind with a well-placed right jab aimed at the back of his head with the speed of 41 and the strength of 41. if the attack hits, then John would follow up with 3 low kicks at kotsuzui's ankles and then finishing up the combo with a punch to the left side of his stomach with John's left fist and then uppercut him with the right fist aimed at his chin, again with the speed of 41 and strength of 41. if, however, kotsuzui would prove too difficult for John then John would have a hidden skill in his sleeve.

Kotsuzui waited there as he warmed up his shoulder waiting for John to make a move. John chuckled before changing his stance to a wider position, now facing right at Kotsuzui. "Something funny?" Kotsuzui asked the fellow Kaguya, but he simply watched as John crossed his arms. He then rapidly uncrossed them as multiple bones popped out all over his body like spikes. Kotsuzui nodded with approval. It was a skill he had no seen yet, one that Zero had not showed him during their training. "That's a neat skill, though I feel like it could have been used for a good surprise attack" Kotsuzui mentioned, possibly giving John a hint for the future. As he spoke John had changed his stance again and Kotsuzui was already making his move as a grin spread across his face yet again. As expected, John dashed right at him. But just as the Kaguya reached him, Kotsuzui slipped into the ground like it was water and completely disappeared form sight. Having used the earth jutsu Hiding like a Mole, Kotsuzui completely evaded any and all attacks John was about to use.

Now underground, Kotsuzui's presence was completely unknown to John. But Kotsuzui would know John's exact location whether he moved or not. While underground, Kotsuzui slapped his hands together into the Bird hand seal and placed his right hand directly beneath the surface of the ground. Being completely out of site, John would have basically have no way of seeing the next oncoming attack. Out of no where a rock pillar with a blunt end would extend from the ground and smash into John's back. Just as that happened, a second rock pillar extend from the ground in front of John smashing right into his chest and pinning him to the pillar on his back. Seconds after, two more pillars burst out of the ground on each side of John smashing right into both sides of his ribs, and two more extending on an angle, one smashing right into the left side of his chest and the other smashing into the back side of his ribs on the right. If successful, John would find himself pinned down on the spot being stuck in between a total of 6 rock pillars. Due to the attack being a complete surprise, the potential for its success was even greater than normal.

Whether the attack was a success or not, Kotsuzui would burst out of the ground about 15 feet ahead of John and fly a few feet into the air. Performing a back flip in mid air Kotsuzui swung both arms out in front of himself releasing a spray of 10 bone bullets all aimed directly at the pinned down John. Due to its shot gun like effect, if John was still stuck in the pillar prison, Kotsuzui's bone bullets would end up ripping right through the pillars and colliding right into John. Landing both softly and perfectly onto the now solid ground in a bent position, Kotsuzui would slowly get back up to his feet to see if his attack had been a success. A huge grin plastered across his face as he could feel the thrill of a fight running through his body. He was only getting started.

John knew that he would dodge. John was a bit surprised that he melted on to the ground, like he was made of water. John had landed on the ground and stood there and waited for him to return. John didn't expect though to get attacked by rock pillars. he got on the move and dodged the pillars as they tried to pin him down. with dance of the larch activated, John moved at the speed of 81, and moved faster than the pillars. John saw that Kotsuzui was up in the air and saw that he had fired finger bullets towards John. John turned around quickly and fired off finger bullets to deflect them off target. John had fired at the speed of 81 and strength of 81 so they even shattered as they made contact. John then deactivated the dance of the larch as it had made it's use. John panted heavily as he was now on one knee.John got up and walked out with his hands in the air and John walked slowly.

"hey, kotsuzui..i feel a bit tired,so how about if we fight pure fisticuffs? you know? hand-to-hand.. no techniques whatsoever... man-to-man...hand-to-hand.. you know?" John said. if kotsuzui agreed, then he and John would fight, trading punches and kicks. if he disagreed, then John would have to use his secret weapon. John had hoped that he wouldn't have to use that technique, as it would be dangerous to him.John had been told that he should only use it if it was absolutely necessary. and it looked like it was necessary right now. though John had to be careful in using it. too low, and he'd not maybe get a hit on Kotsuzui. too high, and it would make him unconscious after he used it. most likely, he couldn't keep it on for long, mostly because he was too tired to probably even use it. but if push comes to shove, then John would have to most likely use it, though he could probably only it, but only a small part of it. though John doesn't know how long he can last with only the small one. John would have to see what kotsuzui would say.in the meantime, John walked closer and closer towards Kotsuzui with his arms stretched in the air, though they were bend at the elbows, and John was walking step by step until he got 6 yards between him and Kotsuzui. John then very slowly put his arms down to his thighs and awaited kotsuzui's answer.

ooc: Just something to mention: Unless you can somehow see behind you, there's no real way you could have dodged the pillar that hit you from behind, you had no idea it was coming. Now it is more likely that you dodged the others, but had the first one hit you it would have been harder.


Also, your speed and strength in your post are no longer 81. It says in the jutsu description "Boost is only for the first post as this is when the attack is activated, the last post is the user simply having the bones out." This is one food for thought. But its just a spar so it doesn't really matter.

Kotsuzui landed on the ground after his attack, which he thought was so clever. But to his surprise, John had managed to dodge every single rock pillar as well as deflect his ten bone bullets with his own ten bone bullets. "He's got some skill" Kotsuzui thought to himself, as this was proving to be as exciting as he thought it would be. Ready to strike at John again, Kotsuzui was caught off guard when John retracted his bones and began walking towards him with his arms out. Royally confused, Kotsuzui waited for John to explain, and explain is what he did. John rambled on, repeating some of the same things as he spoke. "He's already tired? the spar just started? Maybe the exhaustion is the reason he's rambling" Kotsuzui thought to himself. He was asking Kotsuzui if he could not use any of his skills and have a hand to hand spar only. Now there were only two reasons Kotsuzui could think of why John would ask him that. One, he was probably not too strong at hand to hand combat and wanted to practice his fighting skills. Or two, he had already ran out of techniques to use and wanted to limit Kotsuzui in his use of techniques as well. Even if it were to be a hand to hand fight only, Kotsuzui knew a sufficient amount of Taijutsu that could help him get the upper hand.

"Hmmm..." Kotsuzui said as he thought about it for a moment. As he was thinking about it, he reached into his weapons pouches and pulled out two tiny bottles of alcohol. Popping them both open, he chugged both of them instantly and placed the empty bottles back into his pouch. "Ahhhh! Yea I'm gonna have to say no on that one. Whether it's cause you are too tired to use more skills or you just don't have any more to use, I decline. You wanted a spar and a spar is what you're gonna get. Unless I'm going all out I don't get any benefit from it, and neither do you." With that Kotsuzui reached into his second pouch and pulled out his two last bottles of alcohol and chugged both of them right away again. He figured if this was all John can do he was going to have to make it more exciting for himself, by getting drunk. By the time he put the empty bottles away he could already feel the alcohol hitting him. "Wow, that's strong" he thought as he looked back at John. "Common, chump, you'll like me at my best" Kotsuzui said taunting John. He raised both his arms and flapped his hands signaling John to come in, though as he did so he wobbled a bit. "Here, the alcohol I just took will give you an advantage."

let's pretend that i didn't see the one that hit my back. we can also add in that i destroyed the one that was at my chest. if that doesn't make sense, then we can come up with something else that makes sense.



John frowned. but mentally, he smiled. this was perfect, the tired thing was both a ruse and not. yes. John was tired, as he hadn't that much left. but he could still, hopefully dodge and get back stamina that way. if he didn't over exert himself, of course. this meant that John had to use that technique. it was going to be risky, but it was all or nothing this time. John had to be very careful in using that technique, as when it was over, John would most likely pass out. though it depended on what level he had used. John had thought about it, and knew what level to use now. it would maybe and perhaps be dangerous, but it would have to do. now that John looked closer. Kotsuzui was....blushing? and his words were slurred. and he wobbled around. maybe he was drunk? John had seen drunk people before. after all, Kotsuzui even said himself that he was drunk. John crossed his arms. "it's time to use THAT technique." John thought to himself. however, John uncrossed his arms. maybe it wasn't time to use it yet. he wanted to see what Kotsuzui could do in such a state. no... Kotsuzui wanted him to fight. and fight he shall. John crossed his arms and his eyes as he began to focus. "if anything happens to me after this, may god have mercy on my body and soul... god, if you're up there, please protect my body and soul after i use this technique..." John prayed in his mind. "gate 1, open..." John felt his chakra flow starting to stir. "gate 2, open..." John continued, and blood vessels began to appear on John's forehead. his chakra flow started to flow even faster.now, at this point, John stopped. John had now activated 2nd gate. John's plan was to attack Sotsuzui now, and if he attacked, then John would have to be creative in how he dodges. John started by throwing a left punch with the speed of 51 and the strength of 51 aimed at the right side of Sotsuzui's head with a hook punch. if Sotsuzui had dodged in any way, then John would have to evade his attacks the best ways he could without taking any hits from Sotsuzui. if he had countered, then John would have to either parry the attack or try to block it. John could try to dodge by jumping to the opposite of where Sotsuzui would attack him. if he came at John's left with a right legged kick, then he would have to, at least try, jump over him. if that worked, then he could try to attack him from behind. if Sotsuzui would come in with an attack that was a fist-based one aimed at John's right side, then John would have to do his very best to dodge the attacks that Sotsuzui would do. John have now attacked Sotsuzui, and now he was gonna see what he would do. though John's plan was to find an opening and exploit it. if John found the slightest opening, he would attack him, and hopefully stop this drunken frenzy.
