Procrastination - it's a way of life.

‘Yes’, he thought, trailing behind the doctor. Trying to keep up with, but also trying to stay out of his way, lest he be told to leave for being a nuisance. ‘This is where I want to be!’
Matima Ogawa, Maougha to his friends -for reasons he wasn’t quite sure of- had been visiting the hospital on and off again for the past month. It was getting down to the wire for graduation and even though he wouldn’t be able to join the medical corpse until becoming a chuunin, and who knew how long it would take him to make that rank? He still wanted to get a feel for medical practice. If nothing else, the basic first aid he was picking up would go a long way for the aspiring medic nin.
Course the more time he spent at the hospital helping out and what not. The less time he actually spent practicing for his exams. And quite frankly he needed all the training he could get. It wasn’t that he was a bad student - bad ninja in training. He was a quick learner and what he lacked in power, he made up in focus. The low amount of chakra he had at his disposal helped him to develop an excellent control, a control that he was told would be perfect for the medical training he was interested in.
Still needed to work on building his chakra reserves though - and that would be easier achieved if he would just head off to the training grounds and do something. There was, to the best of his knowledge, just two jutsu he needed to master in order to graduate. The clone jutsu that made copies of him (not physical ones so it seemed kind of useless, but easy) and the transformation jutsu, which seemed infinitely more useful - so of course that one gave him the most trouble.
“So, not much longer before graduation huh?”
Maougha started, forcing an embarrassed laugh at being startled by the doctor he was following, he said. “Yup! Can’t wait.”
“Shouldn’t you be studying for that?”
Again, another laugh. “Yeah, but another ninja art is the art of procrastination.”
The doctor just gave him a look, eyeing him over the clipboard.
“I’ll get to training, I’m doing really well with it anyway, honest!” By really well, he meant he had read and understood the idea behind the jutsu. Actually putting it into practice? Not so much. “I guess I should go.”
The doctor nodded, “If you want to be a medical ninja - you’re going to have to become a ninja first. You can come back after you become a genin. Fair?”
Maougha nodded, “Oh, alright.”
The doctor smiled and said good bye, heading off to do his rounds ors something. Maougha, left with not much else to do, headed down the hallway towards the stairs.
