Great Leap Forward (Private/NK/Solo)
Fri Nov 27, 2015 12:22 am
Hikashi walked back home after a long day traveling the town. The knowledge she now had and the skills she developed looked to her as the step she needed to ever become as good as her brother. She was going to fight him, maybe just a spar, anything would work. Hikashi felt confidence with a tinge of adrenaline as she stumbled towards the house. She was really going to fight her brother. She passed by a fountain as a cloudy sky promised rain soon. Winds flew through her perfect hair as the coming storm began.
"KURAME! COME OUT!"
Hikashi readied herself to challenge her brother in a fight. Nothing to the death, but to show the lazy ass what hard work can amount to. She began to feel more and more excited as she waited for him to open the doors and walk out with little idea of why Hikashi was yelling at the house. It was going to be a great day for Hikashi, she hoped at least. She put her umbrella down and began to stretch thinking about every second of the fast approaching fight for sibling dominance. She could only wait in anticipation for the coming storm of two equals fighting. Hikashi readied herself, reviewing every jutsu she learnt. She felt the blood in her body as she became in tune with her water element. Hikashi readied herself with increasing bursts of adrenaline for the fight to decide everything.
She always felt like the lesser one. She always felt like he was getting the easy road to success she simply was over looking in her books. Hikashi felt that, in some moments, Kurame's level of skill was unreachable. This fight went onto their parents even, because Hikashi always thought her parents loved Kurame more. She felt a bitter chill every time they gave him special treatment. To think someone so lazy being a better ninja, made Hikashi feel jealous. She was jealous beyond words for her brother. Hikashi spent everyday gasping for air in the idea of never being able to be as good as him. She bit her lip thinking about all the times he sat around as she was out working her ass off. The world felt so cruel and harsh to Hikashi with every thought. Every thought of her green eyes brought her to new heights of anger and spite. She was trying to keep her manners in a society manners seemed to have been forgotten. The jealously, the lust, the hatred; they all came together to bring gut churning horrors upon her. Now was the time to take a stand for what she wanted most in life.
She felt the winds speed up over her as her stare intensified. The dark clouds looming above meant nothing to the look of atom bombs she brought off. Hikashi was a bomb others had no idea about, and this bomb was bound to explode any second. Violent winds ensued as she thought harder and harder about every second she tried harder then Kurame. Every book she read when he was sitting around. With this very thought a rain drop fell from the heavens themselves onto her forehead. The first rain drop of a heavy storm bound to cause havoc. She thought of every kid who made fun of her eyes, every time Kurame had to help her with her petty problems, every second she spent in the library and for what? What does all of it amount to? Was she really just wasting her time all these years?
"KURAME!!!"
She screamed over the coming storm. Hikashi felt the water around her begin to curve away from her as her eyes flickered once of blue. What ever kind of beast lived in the young lady was about to be released, and the target was Kurame. It was only drizzling at the time, but the winds were making the trees sway. The storm approaching wasn't going to be friendly. Hikashi waited in her god like state for Kurame to walk out those doors.

"W-where is he...?"
The storm began to dim down as her water chakra was all over the place. If she had gone any longer in her emotions.... she might have jumped to the next step of her clan's power. Hikashi weaved the dog and tiger hand signs to make a clone of herself. It was a jutsu she read up on and even learned a few tips and tricks from someone who knew it. The haze clone technique, something she thought would come in handy for whoever was inside. She could only assume who was behind that door. Hikashi slowly unlatched the door of her family's home and saw everything was out of place. Chairs broken to pieces, tables on their side, broken glass, the entire "you got robbed" bundle was there. She clenched her delicate fists in anger as the scene began to just start registering through her mind. Hikashi pulled out a kunai and grasped the handle of it shakily. Whoever did this to her home... whoever could possibly have the guts to attack her home.... definitely had a lot of nerve.
"ANYONE HERE?"
She listened, deep down praying nobody would try to fight her. It was so... empty. Wind passed through the shell of what was once her safe place and she could almost hear the message shouted at her. Reality bitch slapped her as she realized how her once perfect life is now a metaphor outstretched from corner to corner. She dismissed the jutsu she discovered and began to feel the anchor of hopelessness inside of her chest. Does she dare check for Kurame... or even her parents? She grabbed her forehead with her other hand as she began to melt into the situation. The only safe place she had left was now in ruins. The only person protecting her was unable to stop whatever sick fucks did this. She walked up the stairs feeling her anchor was heavier with each step. Deep down she knew the odds Kurame was up there... she knew the odds of her parents being there.... she knew her odds of surviving..... nothing; Absolutely nothing was upstairs. Her prized bookshelf carrying every important note she had taken was now nothing but ashes. They burned everything upstairs... and it gets better. The fire was fresh.... the fire hadn't stopped...... the torture wasn't ending.... she had no hope in hell of getting out. She had to get out. Hikashi began to collapse to her knees as more thoughts raced quickly. A broken window was visible from Kurame's room... he had been taken. Sweaty palms, rushing headache, uncontrollable breathing.... everything was gone now. Everything Hikashi had was literally out the window. She walked to her parents bedroom, knowing full well the fire had nothing important to burn. She cracked the door to see only glimpse of her rushing madness. Hikashi frantically tried to rip out her perfect hair, but only tangled it.
"I can't do this.... I am not ready.... Please...."
She took a deep breath as she bit her lip so hard it bled. A rush of her foot to the door quickly tore it open as she squealed like pig on a butcher's table.
"Every teens dream come true...."
Two lifeless corpses tied to stakes still burning their bodies.
"I wish my parents were dead."
She quoted as she slammed her fist against the ground.
"DAMNIT."
Once again her hand was cracked against the ground.
"FUCK!"
She began to frantically struggle as she was tied with ropes. Arms in every direction to try to release her of her misery. She can't anymore. She couldn't handle the echoing of the kids threatening to kill her. Hikashi couldn't bear to see the kids dare make a joke about this. She got her feet tried to regain herself. Hikashi saw her jutsu book on the ground and looked at it like gold. Her fingers moved along to Water Release: Water Prison Technique. She weaved the hand signs frantically and felt frustrated with living every second. The lady could almost hear every kid screaming at her. The acidic words melting her courage. She clapped her hands and tried to drown herself with the jutsu. A shot of water burst from her hands and only dampened her clothes.
"KILL ME!"
Her Toru awoken to her episode and opened it's eyes to the sight of both of Hikashi's parents burnt at the stake.
"...Lady....."
Hikashi felt a wave of embarrassment fall over her.
"I-i-i-i...."
The Toru continued before Hikashi could make an excuse of some sorts. Hikashi knelt over the ground as snot and left over tears seeped into her fancy carpet.
"...I am sorry for your loss. We can take this together..."
Hikashi threw the Toru against the wall and verbally shot the harm she wanted to do to herself right at the Toru.
"NO! LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE. I ALREADY LOST EVERYTHING, YOU'RE NO SKIN OFF MY BACK."
The Toru tried to be understanding, but damn Hikashi was being a pain. The rain from the storm began to wash down though every nook and cranny as the wind blew Hikashi's rat nest hair away from her. Toru was about to completely let loose on Hikashi and teach her a thing or two, but Hikashi began to realize what she had done.
"...I'm sorry..I-i-i am literally bitching out the only person I have left. I am truly just an alien eyed freak... aren't I?"
The Toru gawked at Hikashi realizing the eye color change. Hikashi caught the eye of the odd jellyfish creature and felt like she had just offended the Toru again.
"Did I say something wrong? I really am just a..."
The Toru couldn't believe it's eyes. Hikashi's eyes were blue?!!? The one thing Hikashi got made fun for the most was just wiped away by some kind of miracle!
"Lady Hikashi, your eyes are blue!"
Hikashi smirked and pinned the Toru onto her again while feeling like she now was going to fend for herself.
"I know, perks of having a disease."
She ran towards the window of Kurame's room and jumped out head first on the second story alongside the Toru. Now her real trials begun and she was going to start taking names and heads.
