Here Goes Nothing...[P, NK, Kyori]

Jace watched as his fireball quickly progressed toward it's target. Unfortunately for Jace, he couldn't see passed his fireball now that it had been released so he didn't know if Kyori was preparing a counterattack or not. So, immediately after Jace had released the fireball he prepared for a counterattack in a different way. He performed six hand seals as fast as he could. Tiger-Boar-Ox-Dog-Snake. When he had made the Ox hand seal he saw something at the very left edge of the fireball. It looked like Kyori had moved back to his original position. Why he had returned to his original position when the fireball covered that area he didn't know. 

What happened next was even weirder. Jace thought he saw Kyori perform a hand seal but he couldn't tell what it was since the fireball was partially covering his view. Mist suddenly began to cover the battlefield, hindering Jace's vision even further. All he saw was Kyori's chakra everywhere. It was completely flooding his sight. So of course he didn't see the dumbass run right through the fireball launched at him. Well, partially run through it. The flames covered the left six inches of Kyori's body, probably leaving a nasty burn. That didn't slow him down though. Jace couldn't see it because of the mist, but Kyori had charged straight at him. 

It was only a couple seconds until Kyori ran straight into Jace, knocking him to the ground hard with a kunai pressed against his neck. A thin red line of blood began to bead where the edge of the kunai knife cut into his throat. Kyori probably thought he had won. If Jace hadn't been prepared, that would probably have been true. Too bad for Kyori. He got his burned only to fail at trapping Jace in place. The instant Jace had hit the ground with Kyori on top of him, the kunai still pressed against Jace's neck, there would be a puff of white smoke. Where Jace had just been would instead be a wooden log. Jace had used the substituion technique to escape. 

The instant the substitution technique took place, the real Jace would appear standing one foot behind Kyori. Jace immediately performed the Tiger hand seal, letting his chakra flow outward to overwhelm Kyori. Kyori would feel as if invisible ropes had bound him in place from head to toe. It was very likely that he would be completely unable to move. If that was the case and the paralysis technique had taken effect, Jace would calmly take out a kunai and walk the remaining distance until he was standing directly behind Kyori. When he got into position, Jace would place the kunai he was holding in his left hand to the base of Kyori's neck the way Kyori had just tried to do to him. "You're pretty good." Jace said with a smile on his face.

The Jace up under him had poofed away, as well as the mist in the area that slowly began to disapeer in the area. If the mist would have stayed a little bit longer Kyori was sure he could have beat the kid. One thing was for sure and it was that the kid was really good in combat, at least Kyori did not judge a book by it's cover and think the kid was weak just because of his appearance and age."You're pretty good." said Jace as he stood behind Kyo now with a kunai on Kyo's neck. Kyo tried to move but felt that he could not." Why can't I move?" asked Kyo.

Well at least the paralysis technique had worked. Kyori was stuck in place. Jace smiled down at the boy as he answered his question, removing the kunai from Kyori's throat. "It's a ninjutsu called the temporary paralysis technique. I learned it from another Uchiha named Ita." When he had finished speaking, he would release the jutsu keeping Kyori trapped. It was nice to know that Jace could hold his own in a fight. Mind you, both he and Kyori were fresh genin and about the same skill level. If he were to go up against an experienced genin or someone of a higher rank he probably wouldn't do so well.

"I released the jutsu. You should be able to move now." he said to Kyori, still smiling. He held out his hand to the boy to help him up. Jace would wait until the boy was standing and facing Jace to speak again. "Did you want to do more training? Or did you want to go get that ramen now?" he said.

Looking at Jace, Kyo had the oppurtunity to move as he rose from his position and turning to face Jace as he would say "Yeah let us go and get some of that ramen, lead the way." Of course Kyo would not move until Jace gave the ok to follow him into town and to the ramen shop.

Kyo told Jace he was ready to go eat and for Jace to lead the way. Jace turned away from Kyori and headed out of the training grounds and into the village. The streets were bustling with people going to and fro. Everywhere Jace looked there were families looking in the windows of shops and kids running through the streets playing games. It was a beautiful sight to see the village so active. It only took about fifteen minutes for Jace and Kyori to get to the ramen shop. 

Jace led Kyori to a seat near the back of the restaurant and sat down facing the door. He always liked to know who was coming and going. A habit he picked up from the observation training he went through. The waiter came and Jace ordered an extra large miso with pork slices and a glass of water. He waited for Kyori to order his food too before speaking. The entire walk over to the ramen shop was quiet. Neither one of them had said a word. Jace actually enjoyed the silence. It was better when he didn't have to talk. He wasn't very good at talking. He had gotten better lately, but he was still pretty awkward and shy. He was becoming more comfortable with Kyori though. When Kyori had finally ordered his food and the waiter had left to put their order in Jace would break the long silence. "So..er.....How have you been for the last week?"

Replying that he was doing quite fine their ramen that Jace had ordered had soon arrived. Fortently both of their ramen was in a to go bowl. It was not only until now that Kyo had begun to realize that the burns on his body were hurting really bad. Grabbing his ramen Kyo would say "Sorry, I have to go but the burns I suffered from the fireball are starting to hurt. Until next time" before running out of the ramen shop heading home to a tub of cold water.

Kyori answered Jace's question, saying he had been doing fine. It seemed like the boy really wasn't interested in talking. Judging by his face, Jace assumed the boy was in pain. Of course. He should have offered to take Kyori to the hospital for the burns he had suffered. Though, it really was his own fault. He should have known better than to run into Jace's fireball. Oh well. Jace was about to offer to take him to the hospital now, but he didn't get a chance. The ramen they had ordered showed up in a couple of to go bowls. Strange, Jace hadn't said anything about taking it to go.

He frowned and was about to say something about wanting to eat in the restaurant, but he hesitated too long and the waiter was already gone. He just shrugged it off and began to open the ramen so he could eat his meal. Just as he opened it, he noticed Kyori grabbing his bowl and standing up. He apologized for leaving but said that his burns were in fact hurting him. Jace found it weird that the kid said he was going to go home and sit in a tub of cold water instead of the hospital. Jace wanted to say he should probably get looked at by medical specialists but Kyori had already booked it out of there like a bat out of hell. Now Jace was just sitting there alone. He sighed. He was used to being alone after all. Since he had already opened his ramen, Jace decided to just sit there and eat his meal in peace. 

He took his time eating, going over the spar he had had with Kyori again in his mind. What could he have done better? Should he have paid more attention to something? Were the timing of his attacks perfectly enacted? All these thoughts and more flew through his mind as he ate. It wasn't long before he finished his meal. Of course, he now had to pay for both his and Kyori's ramen. The boy had been so flustered that he had left without leaving any money behind. Oh well. Jace counted out just enough to cover both bowls and a nice tip and left it on the table. Finally, he decided he would head home and get some rest. It had been a long day.
