Not having much experience at all Chi decided this would be the fight for him to impress the much more experienced ninja and who knows he could put in a good word for Chi to the Kage. Puppet guy seemed to not waste time and neither was Chi as seeing this was sorta a bit unfair fight for many reasons, One being puppet guy was more experienced and the other was that puppet guy had two puppets. It was a very simple three vs one despite two being not real. As puppet guy was just landing Chi made the clone seal to immediately summon a single Shadow Clone as one seemed sufficient enough plus he didn't want to waste so much energy at the start. He had to soley remain on well attacking the puppet guy and defend against the puppets. It seemed simple enough but it really wasn't going to be that easy.
He and the clone both dashed forward at the same time right before the puppets decided to moves faster than them. So Chi wasn't expecting the puppets to uh….well yeah that puppet just separated and grew a rope. Chi clone decided to take on the sister puppet and that leaves Chi with the other puppet and puppet guy. Chi rushed to intercept brother puppet and block the punch with his arms while Chi clone kinda just got tangled up in the rope.
Now time for the offensive!
Chi after immediately block the punch then proceed to grab the puppets arm and with a lot of effort pulled it towards him as smashed his elbow into his face. Yeah that was probably not going to do anything since its a puppet...so hoping it was stunned, Chi ran full speed towards puppet guy and once 10 meters close he hoped for the best as he performed the hand signs, ram ox and boar! Activating Earth Release: Mud Spore, Chi then began to spit out mud 10 meter towards puppet guy. “Yep this should do!” but of course if it didn't he had to just run up to and uppercut a guy!
Meanwhile Clone Chi was struggling over here with the ropes as he tried to escape and not being very useful for other than a distraction so yeah….there's that.

Chef kid had made a clone before Jay started maneuvering his puppets do to stuff. The clone ended up trapped within the ropes used by the Sister puppet while the original intercepted the punch aimed from the Brother puppet and countered with his own punch to the puppet's face. Of course it had done literally nothing to the puppet, cuz well, its a puppet, but Jay gave the kid an A+ for effort. After the punch, chef kid the original decided it was a good idea to charge at Jay. Jay would have completely ignored the kid charging him if he hadn't used an earth style jutsu. But we'll get to that in a minute. In the meantime, the Sister puppet's right arm was position so that it's palm was on clone chef kid's chest facing his heart. Jay activated one of the hidden mechanisms and a blade shot from the palm of the puppet and went through the clone's heart, dispelling it.
While that was happening, Jay would dash to the left at 50 speed, completely avoiding the mud spore jutsu chef kid had used while simultaneously manipulating the Brother puppet to sneak behind the kid and aim another punch at the back of his head.
-some kind of ap for mechanisms and stuff. too lazy to look now. will add it up later if necessary

“Gah! Of course he would dodge!” Chi gritted his teeth as he chased after the much faster and experienced ninja seeing as undercutting him was not an option at all. If he was just a little faster he could catch up with him but that wasn't going to happen so he stopped chasing him and decided to destroy the puppet. Yes because there isn't already enough destruction already going on in this thread. Turning around he then instantly caught a punch to the face and not expecting such thing he stumbled back as he rubbed his nose. “Owie..” And in this very moment he knew he was fucked.
Chi clone who was tangled up in the rope was trying his hardest to get out….even resulting into trying to gnaw the rope off. It was his fault for not having any sharp object on him to cut the ropes and man did this suck. He was basically a pawn to distract the other puppet yet his usefulness ran out as he was immediately trapped...it could have been worse, a lot worse. Chi puppet struggled and struggled as he tried to free himself from the ropes even resulting to kicking and screaming very chidlike because anything could work. Yes in just due time the clone would feel something pierce his chest “Well Fu-” and then he poofed away.
Chi was back to square one and was obviously losing. Not much of impressing anyone that was watching but his will would not let him give up and so he just had to rebound back and remain a bit more positive. What is positive of this situation he could use….nothing...nothing was positive. “Bummer….” Chi watched as the clone poofed away and then immediately looked back to the puppet, the other puppet, and then to puppet guy. Odds are he lost as soon as he started but he did still have a trump card despite not really sure how to go about this knowing just attacking the puppets wouldn't do anything unless he destroyed them….
Meanwhile there were these two men who seemed to be enjoying the fight and betting on who would win….but we will get to the point of them being here later.
Chi ignored them and decided that just standing here wouldn't be a good idea, he stood there for a few seconds and so he ran towards puppet guy once again. As he ran he tried to calculate where puppet guy would try to move to but he could never really tell but he slowed down and turned half expecting one of the puppets to be following him, he made the hand sign bird then touching the ground. Seeing as this was really the only other offensive jutsu Earth Release: Rock Pillar Spears would do and so had six none sharp pillars to come from under puppet guy expecting them to hit at least one hit! However he didn't stop there so he he kept moving keeping his guard up as he ran to the puppet guy wanting to deliver a super strong punch but not being as strongs since he wasn't really not strong however he stopped and remembered the bugs...puppet guy still had more tricks he didn't use. Chi was a chef not a exterminator so he also kept his guard up for any crawling insect surpises! Once he had stopped he then decided that it was best to get puppet guy’s blind side and moved at his max speed and delivered a sweeping kick to knock the guy off his feet. And thus ends his plan of attack.

As Jay was still dashing, he kept his eyes trained on chef kid. The blonde had ignored the puppets coming after him and began to dash after Jay himself. Of course this was a basic strategy to use against a puppet user, so Jay was pretty much expecting it. Though it did mean that the boy was no longer paying attention to the puppets at all. Jay decided to use his puppets to come at the chef kid from either side. He had just begun moving the puppets toward the boy when he noticed him performing hand seals. Jay decided it was best to just keep running in order to dodge whatever it was that was coming at him now. He picked up his speed (75) as he ran to the boy's left, angling himself so that he was running in a slight circle and making a sort of zig zag pattern at random intervals so that his movements would be harder to track.
The puppets, moving at 97 speed and only being about 6 meters behind chef kid at this point, had reached within one meter of the kid at the same time Jay heard the earth beneath him and slightly behind him making noises as if it were moving. The Brother puppet was slightly less than a meter to the blonde's left while the Sister puppet was the same distance from the boy's right, its arms had reattached by the time she had reached the boy. As Jay continued to run, dodging the earth pillars sent up to attack him, the puppets would simultaneously aim punches at the chef kid's face from either side.

It didn't matter anymore whether he win or lose. He was obviously going to lose this fight being way in over his head and all. The guy wasn't even giving his all unlike chi he basically pulled out every trick in the book he had so far except….nah trump card wouldn't even help him in this situation. So glad no one important is watching them because this would be bad. If he couldn't even land a single good it there was no point. Yeah he hit the puppet but it's a puppet, not living and doesn't feel pain! Chi mentally slapped himself as his plan of hitting puppet guy with the earth spears sadly failed thus ending his use of most effective jutsu he had available.
Welp he was screwed. Even if he could do anything it would have to be against the puppets which were faster and had all kinds of tricks. However despite the losing situation he was in chi still had some fighting spirit in him. As most would have denied the option to spar Chi accepted. Then those who got themselves in the losing position as Chi they would most likely surrender but Chi wasn't going to give up that easily. No matter how much pain he had to go through he decided to keep fighting until he can get puppet guy knocked down on his arse or at least a single hit. The recklessness of Chi was really shown when he decided to take those punches head on...literally. He headbutted the punches. Bad idea but fighting through the potential concussion, he reached up to grab both of the puppets by the neck keeping a firm grip on them and uh….ran towards puppet guy while dragging the puppets behind him. Very reckless of him. He didn't have the strength to throw them so he just full force face plant their heads into the sand. Chi figured it was kinda pointless chasing after puppet guy only to have the puppets come back and attack him so taking this opportunity he decided to stomp on the puppets repeatedly while they were in the ground….from a distance and from another person point of view….it was really just, Idiotic Mayhem.

Jay watched as the kid took the punches head on, literally. Poor chef kid actually head butted the puppets' fists as they were about to make contact. Jay could only think that the kid would have a bad headache after that move. What happened next was both amusing and confusing for the Aburame. It looked like the chef kid had really lost his mind. He had grabbed both puppets by their necks and was dragging them behind him as he charged at Jay, who was still running at full speed. After the kid got only about 4 meters from where he had started, he face planted the puppets into the sand and began to stomp on them repeatedly. Luckily for Jay the puppets were made out of pretty sturdy material so that wouldn't really do much to them. Still, Jay figured he had let this drag on long enough. He had a decent grasp on the kid's abilities by now.
After only letting the kid stomp on each of the puppets twice, Jay changed course and dashed the remaining 5 meters to stop behind the blonde as he stomped on the puppets. Jay reached out his left hand and placed it on the kid's back while simultaneously coursing lightning throughout his entire body. He had become a human bug zapper. He didn't use enough power to hurt the kid too much, just shock him up a bit. "Alright. I think that's enough." he said after stopping the chidori current technique.

So everything went that way for Chi. Not being able to catch up caused him to go with an alternative which was to curb stomp the puppets. Chi actually had a plan unlike what it seems. As he kept the puppets down he knew the puppet guy had to come to him eventually so he was lowkey keeping an eye on him while he made it to the next puppet to stomp on. Then it happened, as expected chi immediately noticed puppet guy was no longer in his view Chi immediately turned to face the direction he was coming from. While doing so he was bringing his fist up for that mega awesome screen saver moment of a upper punch but….things didn't work out the way he had it in his head. Just as his fist about to connect with puppet guy’s Chin he felt puppet guy’s palm hit his chest and before he could say or do anything sparks went flying and Chi was zapped! Imagine being tased; that's how Chi felt as his hair stood on ends while he fell to the ground helplessly, twitching as the lightning went through his body. Despite having a perfectly well made clan all he could do was just barely….barely tap the guy’s chin!
So here lies Chi, the ultimate failure.Despite all his training he couldn't even land a hit or pretty much anything despite going all out. Chi just laid there not wanting to move or anything he just laid there. “I suck…...to think I would even put up a fight was a mistake.” Chi sat up and hopped to his feet and dusted himself off. “Maybe next time.” He was zapped like a bug yet still have not to get tired. Actually now experiencing lightning first hand kinda made it seem cool. Chi wasn't one for asking people for help, it was against his character. He was the helper not the helpie so this made what he was going to ask even harder to ask. “Uh….Hey! I just met you, And your really cool, But let me be your, Student, maybe!............so I can try to learn that cool lightning taze thing you did on me.” It was very hard to ask this after such a defeat but he really wanted to learn how to zap people. Chi waited for puppet guy’s response as he watched the two who were betting walked away from the scene one looking unimpressed.
“ I'm not impressed. There are better fights at the Fight Club, I'll win my money back……” is what he caught before they left. Fight Club eh? Then again as much fun as that sounded Chi payed little attention to the guy’s actually words as he was lost at the “I'm not impressed” part. For once his super happy hyper demeanor simmered down.

Word had gotten around about two people sparring in the training grounds, however from what Koroshi heard it doesn't really seem to be a fair fight, a genin vs a jounin? Although Koroshi cannot write the kid out, hell when he was a genin he was fighting and sparring against jounin, and his nephew Samuru from what he has heard not only picked fights with people of higher rank, but tried to fight Navi who was the Hokage at the time. So in his eyes anything is possible and you should never write your opponent out, and you should never get too full of yourself. With this being said Koroshi decides that he will see the new youth in action to see if he is going to be on the same level as his nephew, who knows, maybe the two will meet in the jounin exams one day.
After a short walk he appears on the scene walking past two guys that seem to be very unimpressed, one looking to be happy holding a hand full of ryo, while the other seems to be a bit more grouchy, however upon seeing Koroshi the winner hides the money behind his back and they both bow their heads greeting Koroshi, before departing the scene in a hastily manner. Koroshi shrugging this off as he keeps walking, when he gets view of the two he sees the boy on the ground still slightly zapping from a lightning jutsu that might have been used on him, while the jounin puppet master stands over him. After a few moments the boy jumps up and from what Koroshi can make out from his lips, it seems that the boy wishes for the jounin to teach him. Wanting to know what teaching he might have in mind, Koroshi decides to walk a little closer, hopping on top of the chest high fence with ease, deciding to sit on it and watch to see how the scene plays out. If they notice him however his actions may change, but for now, he is only there to watch and to see how one of his jounin handles training the youth of the sand.

Jay watched as the kid got tazed and fell twitching to the floor. The Jounin watched him a moment before the kid finally jumped to his feet, seemingly full of energy once more. The next thing Jay knew, the kid was asking to be his student. Apparently the kid had been impressed with the Chidori current technique and wanted to learn it from the Aburame. Jay smiled as he began to respond to the kid. As he started talking, the Aburame would take out two large scrolls and seal one of his puppets into each. "Alright. The technique I used is a really high level technique though. I lowered the power so that it wouldn't do much harm to you. So, do you know if you even have the lightning element yet?" As he was speaking, Jay could feel the presence of someone with an enormous chakra signature approaching and stopping nearby. While he waited for the boy's response to his question, Jay turned his face slightly until he was able to spot the source of the chakra. To his surprise, it was none other than the Kazekage himself. He was sitting on the fence nearby and seemed to be content to watching the Jounin and chef kid.
He realized he still hadn't found out the boy's name yet. If he were to become this kid's sensei, he would definitely need to know his name. "By the way, what's your name?"

The boy had caught attention of a new person as he watched the two gamblers hurry off. From the distance Chi wasn't sure at first but only seconds later he could tell it was the Kazekage himself. Chi actually never met the guy nor knew anybody who actually did but this was awesome. If he can just get his autograph and convince him to eat at his food cart; Chi’s popularity in the food business would grow if he received an good review from him. Chi then turned his attention back to puppet guy who began speaking and putting away his puppet. Chi was planning to cut him off and tell him they were being watched by the coolest person ever but didn't when puppet guy asked him if he had the lightning element. Chi tilted his head a bit and shrugged. He wasn't sure but was pretty positive he didn't have it. “I probably don't. I guess I'll have to learn that too before the zappy zap zap jutsu.” Chi was actually looking forward to learning new things almost as much as looking forward to cooking those omelettes despite it not being breakfast time anymore. Time to get to work!
Chi looked puzzled when puppet guy asked him his name. He was sure he told him his name. “Ichiro Sato, Also called Chi for short or the famous NINJA CHEF!” He didn't bother asking puppet guy for his name, Chi was very keen on just giving him a nick name. “So Pup-Pup, How do I learn the sacred recipe to make lightning?” Chi was now ready to begin but he also wanted to go meet the Kazekage who was now sitting on the fence, maybe if he could just learn lightning release faster he can then get to meet him before he decides to leave. “Also can we hurry this up? My future is at stake!”
