Now that he was here, the thing to do now was to complete his training. There were maybe a couple of more seals that he needed to gain posession of... and the first one was something he had heard from Yazu just a few minutes ago. The five elements sealing method... this didn't have anything to do with the actual elements from which jutsu like the fireball technique or the lightning rod technique were derived. No, this had more to do with ideological things, which he had no issues with. All he had to do was to keep this in mind while learning the damn thing.
Naturally, these five different elements represented concepts in human thought and nature. Looking at his hand, he began to envision the appropriate kanji onto each of his fingers. Metal, wood, water, fire, and earth. It rather disturbed him how there was no lightning or wind there, but what could he say about it? There wasn't really much he could do, was there? He wasn't the one who had founded the system of the five element seal. Now, he found himself a little bit stuck... at the very first step. Accepting that these five elements were different and interacted differently than the normal five chakra natures.
Then again, what would he practice on? He needed something to use this seal on before he actually started the process of thinking about how to form it. Otherwise, what was the point? He'd just be tossing around semantics and theoretics without any real meaning at all. No, this was not a desirable outcome. He needed to find something or someone on which to test his might. It shouldn't be too hard, since his chakra was truly massive. It was one of the largest he'd sensed so far... this was good for him, he thought.
At this rate, he'd climb even higher in the mizukage's favor... if the mizukage was indeed that kind of person. Mizukage Xyxer Gyojin... a fearsome person indeed. There was still the matter of that profound man's personality, which was pretty hard to plumb. He was clearly far more experienced than anyone in Kiri, and probably much stronger... but Kozata hadn't had the chance to go head-to-head with the man as of yet. This wasn't something he really wanted either... being ignorant about who his leader was and what his capabilities were. At least, that's what Dio thought about the matter. Kozata still missed old leader Naoki... what a pleasant man. He'd have to track him down someday and ask him for more training. The boy had a feeling that the man was more similar to himself than he had at first thought... or maybe it was the other way around. Even simple things like that, inconsequential things like that confused Kozata a fair bit. Anyways, he needed to talk to his leader some more, that was certain. Maybe... maybe he'd ask him if he could go on a pilgramage to find his origin... or at least, Dio's origin. That was probably more important than anything else at the moment. His own physical ability was already reaching its peak, and all that there was to do now was to attain more knowledge, reach a higher state of enlightenment and understanding.
Yes, this made sense to both him and Dio, something that they rarely agreed on. What was even better was the fact that they agreed in the same way... they needed to learn more about both chakra and about the workings of their origin. The shade release... a most fearsome weapon indeed. Also, truly profound.
So confusing, in fact, that Kozata had simply labeled it as an anti chakra substance, which Dio partially agreed with. His whisperings in the dark, though, hinted at something else. As Kozata had seen so far with Dio's abilities, it could even dominate chakra itself, absorbing it and bending even the chakra of other people to his own will. It seemed awfully rude to the dull minded child, and he often asked Dio to stop with such things. Dio never did, though. He was Dio, the most powerful yuumei in the world (Kozata doubted this, never having met any other members of his clan), and he was not about to be inhibited by a small child, even if said child was his host. No, there would be no rest for him until he retrieved the other pieces of himself. Small snatches of memory hinted at some place where he could at least get part way toward this goal, but he hadn't had the time to have Kozata sit down and acquire enough information for him to process and find this place. He knew it wasn't here, though, and it wasn't that village he had gone to before... Hoshi, was it? The place where he had met with Denkiteki. It seemed like a pretty terrible place to live... so open and dry and chilled. Too close to the mountains. Not protected enough by the natural barrier of the ocean. Casting these things aside, though, Dio put his mind to the task at hand. He had taken far too long to understand exactly what this seal was and how it worked. Indeed, even though he had been working at it ever since he had gone to the land of fire, he knew that his progress had been too slow. Now, he was paying for it with a lack of skill. It was like he was asleep, and needed to be awakened, knowing that a good breakfast awaited him if he did, but that the air around him was too cold, so he needed to stay under the blanket to keep warm. Huh, what a silly analogy. The cold was a small price to pay for a good breakfast, Dio thought. The nutrients fed Kozata, which in turn helped his own processing speed. Since basically all of this body's processing power belonged to him, it was pretty damn good for him, this food.
Wait, what food? He was getting distracted again. First, to find a subject, whether willing or unwilling (it really didn't matter). Charging up his chakra, he prepared to teleport.
ONE SECOND.
He really never got tired of this, Kozata thought. Dio's voice really was quite impressive and alluring.
TWO SECONDS.
There it was again. Like a bell...
THREE SECONDS.
... lined with satin. Kind of a weird comparison, now that he thought about it.
FOUR SECONDS.
He thought about how to speed this thing up.
FIVE SECONDS.
Not that he hated Dio's voice...
SIX SECONDS.
But it was awfully inconvenient. At that moment, with a purple flash, he teleported into the inner parts of Kiri. It would be pretty damn easy to find someone to work on here.

The moment he arrived in Kirigakure, he realized something. He had trained and used his dimension so much, that he had made its power grow. That was weird, was yuumei not supposed to be contradictory and shit? Well, since Dio was apparently now mentally slapping him to get back on track, it was probably a really idiotic point that didn't need to be covered at all. It was really frustrating how frequently this happened. How was he supposed to get smarter without any encouragement? He tried to make Dio understand that he had to be more positive in life to get anywhere, but at the same time, Dio did have a point. They had something to do, and Kozata was wasting time standing there and doing nothing. Inaction begot inaction, which engendered uh..... uh... well, he didn't have the brain capacity to think farther than that. Such a shame, was it not?
What would his parents, who were now dead and gone, have thought if they had known that their beloved son... was an idiot? That he had to actually rely on his yuumei to do any kind of calculations at all? Even his S-rank jutsu, which had to be supplemented by calculations, were dependent on Dio's mood. Should he feel like giving Kozata the silent treatment, the boy would be doomed in a crucial fight. Luckily, that had not happened often for Kozata. It had nearly cost him his life once, which was why he was now hesitant to go on missions. It was a fear that he should probably get past at some point in the near future. After all, his income was running low. He'd have to go and get himself some fresh cash after a while. Being low on money was rarely ever a good thing.
At any rate, there he was in Kirigakure, looking around for a suitable subject. In the corner of his eye, something moved. Ah! A dog! This should be good. Kozata hated dogs, as did Dio. Foul creatures, but very worthy of experimentation. With a simple motion, Kozata lashed out with his right hand and gripped the dog by the throat.
"Very good." Said Dio, now in control. "I won't take this one's chakra, we need it active." With that, they vanished from sight, back into Mukou. When they arrived, Kozata noted the lack of a delay. Was his proficiency with the dimension really that high? Truly amazing...

Once in Mukou, however, he felt even better. He knew that his soul had now completely synched with the dimension itself, and he knew that he could do things that Dio had done before. Raising both his hands (like the "praise the sun" bullshit from Dark Souls) he began to shape the very fabric of Mukou itself. He filled it with a city, kind of like the one that he had seen when he fought Dio for the first time. Ironically enough, he was now standing on the same bridge that he had last seen before the road roller descended on him.
Good times, and bad times. What he did now know, however, was that in the world of Mukou, he had attained some different level... the level of a god! He could bend time and space as he pleased! He waved his hand, and people appeared there, just as they had been in the original world. Then, he shouted to the sky... and everything stopped. Ha.... he had frozen the world! He didn't even need the dog anymore... but in this world of frozen time, he was the one and only master. Of course, he had Dio to contend with, but the yuumei was actually giving him an approving feeling. What... why? Hehehe..... Kozata was drunk with power, so he didn't quite understand that Dio appreciated this power quite a bit. The boy had synched with Mukou so well that he had actually begun to manipulate it to his own ends. Imagine.... he could draw infinite heat from this place to fill Ausloschen!
That aside, though, he had an important task now. Unfreezing one of the fake people from the frozen world, he floated down, like some dark deity. Pressing his hand against the man, he would attempt to initiate some kind of technique.
No...? Well, he would have to practice more. Erasing the man from his dimension, he would wave his hand again and create a new one, a fresh one. Playing with people like this... was it really a good thing to do? No, these weren't real people. They were just products of his imagination, which was basically that of a boy. How fortunate for him, though that these were not real people! Had they been, he would probably be in a whole lot of trouble for toying around with civilians. Here in Mukou, though, he was free of such restrictions.
He tried again, this time, thinking about the sequence of the five elements and how they would channel his power into the enemy, rendering them unable to fight. No, no result again? He erased the man once more and thought about how to proceed. Clearly, he was thinking about this five element seal in the wrong way. He had to take a new approach, a new point of view. He flew (amazing, wasn't it) to the top of a building and looked down on the frozen world below. All his... was that supposed to be his mindset? That the enemy was already his the moment he touched the target?

Yes, there it was. The idea that he had been going after this whole time! The idea of the five element seal had little to do with his own power, and more of an exploitation of his opponents' weaknesses. If their chakra was too low, or if their bodies were too poor to form some kind of resistance to immediate and short-term shock, then they would surely be defeated within the instant that the seal was applied. In this case, all he had to do now, was refine his chakra into the appropriate seal. Waving his hand, he created a pile of biomass beside him at the top of the building.
With a mere wave of his hand, the biomass would assemble itself into the form of the man from before, now frozen in Kozata's time stop. Being the god of a new world was great! It was like a whole universe was his playground! If he wanted to, he knew that he could create stars and star systems that he could set according to some kind of randomly generated algorithm... he could create forms of life that wouldn't work on Earth, solely because of its chemistry and physics! A playground for a deity... such was Dio's wish, as well as Kozata's.
However, there was something important to do first. Placing his hand on the man's stomach, he would release the man from the time freeze.
"You are my test subject." He'd say, and the man's eyes would glaze over, and he expression would take on something akin to reverence.... Hey, this was pretty good. If he had infinite resources here to train with, then he could develop more powerful techniques even faster than before. Especially if he could play with cosmic forces... if he could manipulate those here, then to a lesser extent, he might be able to replicate those effects on earth. For example, the idea of instantaneous movement. Imagine how useful that would be! Regardless, as soon as he applied the seal to the man's stomach, the man crumpled like rice paper. Only then, did Kozata let time flow.
