Off to see the Wizard (P)

After her getting with the other Anbu and the Hokage, Artemis went straight to work on gathering a team to go after Kiranomo. Granted, she could have gone solely by herself or with the other anbu, but it seems like operative wolf had other important matters to attend to. Reaching the archives, The Cheshire operative went to work on going through each ninja’s file, looking for ninja with a wide array of skills just in case things got messy.

The first one that the girl picked out was Jace Uchiha. The Genjutsu specialist who would probably be of great use against the missing ninja. There are reports that the girl had a sharingan, though the Genjutsu user could still be of use in penetrating with the illusionary arts. Besides Genjutsu, he also had knowledge in space-time just like Artemis. The girl had run into the boy on a few different occasions and knew that he would be up for the challenge.

The next on the list was a girl by the name of Risako. The girl had knowledge in Fuuinjutsu as well as Ninjutsu with some knowledge in the Sage Arts. Her specialties varied from that of the Genjutsu Boy and differed slightly from the Abu’s very own. This allowed for some variety between the team’s skills which would help to bring more options to the table. On top of that, she was one of the more experiences Chunin; having a wide array of missions completed under her belt.

Last but not least was Mako of the Sarutobi Clan. Unlike the others she picked out, he had weaponry just like the Anbu; adding on to the diverse skill set that she had hoped to achieve. She also believed that he would make a fine addition to the team overall. With the three members now chosen, the girl would write a quick mission briefing on a small scroll:

Mako,Risako, Jace,

The Hokage has declared Kiranomo Nara a threat to the village and has requested that she be removed from out lands. I have selected you three to accompany me in reaching the missing ninja and removing her from the Fire Country. Meet me at the village gates at noon. Don’t be late.

The girl would attach a message to three different carrier pigeons and send them to reach the three ninja she hand chose. She could see that the sun was finally raising from the horizon. She knew not was lie ahead, but she felt ready. As ready as she could be at least. The girl would travel home and collect all her gear before heading out to meet the three chunin at the gates.

It was early morning when the boy had been woken by his mother. She said something about a missive for him via carrier pigeon. Groggily rubbing the sleep out of his eyes, Jace took the scroll from his mother and opened it. He had to read through it twice to make sure he wasn't missing something. When he was certain that the missive had been assigned to him and its contents, the boy rushed out of bed and got his gear on as quickly as he could. It only took him a few minutes to shower and get dressed, making sure to put on his Chuunin flak jacket and stick his flute in his weapons pouch. The final addition to his wardrobe was the umbrella he carried over his shoulder as he left the house. He had overslept in the first place and only had about ten minutes left to meet his team at the village gates. He arrived at his destination exactly at noon, just as he had been instructed.

That particular morning, she had been sitting on the steps to her apartment complex, dressed in her usual long sleeve red shirt and long khaki shorts. Leaning back, her head in her hands, Risako gave her hair a quick shake to knock it out of her face, so that she could stare into the clear blue skies. The only sounds to be heard that quiet morning were the birds, and the sound of her bare feet plopping against the steps as she tapped out a small tune she had stuck in her head. When the pigeon came and landed by her head, she bolted up with a start, causing the bird to take off shortly and landed on one of the steps. She cocked an eyebrow. 

It was weird, the critter wasn't darting away like most birds did. Instead it was persistently hanging around. Giving it a quick glance over, she noticed the scroll attached to its leg. "Hmm." Reaching out to the pigeon, she yoinked it off of the step and wrestled the letter from it's foot with a tiny pop noise. Throwing the pigeon off of the porch, it stabilized itself and flew off to its roost, where it would likely wait until someone else decided they needed a messenger bird. 

Peeling open the scroll, she would quickly scan over the contents before heading back up to her apartment. By her count, it was roughly eleven thirty, which gave her just enough to ready up and head down to the gates. On her way up, she thought about the individual in question. If she was a threat then why was she just being asked to leave? The name sounded slightly familiar too, but she would put that thought into the back for now. 

Reaching her door, she quickly rummaged through her apartment for her gear, which was scattered all around thanks to the state of mess her apartment was usually in. It was slightly cleaner than normal, though. That said, she put on her gear: A chuunin jacket that had been slightly modified to fit her needs a bit more, the ring that was enhanced with fuin, and every other little bit and bobble listed on her stat page. Her weapon pouches would be placed in convenient areas, one being strapped to her thigh. She stuck her Fuma Shuriken in the slot on the lower back of her flak jacket. 

Finally, she bit into her thumb and wiped the blood on the side pocket of her jacket, summoning Utagawa into the comfort of her pocket since he was small enough to fit(I've wrote the word jacket like seventeen times already ffs.) Akami would be summoned into the cramped space between herself and the armor. 

"Boss," The fox detested, "Why boss." Utagawa remained silent and happy in his little compartment.

"We have some work to do," her tone was blunt.

"But bos-" The fox was cut off as Risako zipped up the jacket and began to make her way towards the door.

"I'll need your help, I can't gather the nature energy on my own yet." With that, she left her apartment and made her way to the gates.

Strolling on up to the rest of the group, the young woman made her presence aware to the others with a quick wave and "Hey." If there was no briefing on what they would be up against, she would go on to say, (after everyone had arrived,) "What should we expect?"

Mako would be on his back porch smoking taking in some rays having recently accomplished most everything that he needed to, including amassing the funds for his custom weapon.  Mako would lounge until he would be interrupted by a pigeon.  The pigeon would drop the scroll upon his chest.  With his free hand he would lift the scroll and tear it open reading the information.

Hmmm Nara, in the land of fire? He didnt recognize the name but his gut told him who it was, and he knew what his purpose was.  Quickly he would place the smoke in his mouth and prep his gear, mostly everything he owned.  He would grab the detailed copy of the dossier from his file cabinet, the one he had made for the Kage but never delivered, and would bring it along with him.  Before leaving he would bite his thumb and summon both Sushma and Garumpa to escort them on the trip, Mako knowing he would need to use the Sage mode in such a fight.  He would carry the baboon on his back and the spider monkey on his shoulder.  Mako would then embark post haste as quickly as he could.  He only showed up moments after noon, but was obviously the last one there.  

Mako would approach the ANBU and hand her the Dossier on Selena and Kira hoping it would help.  Afterwards he would say very little just chain smoking and waiting for departure.

Jace was the first to arrive out of the three that Artemis had selected. “Good to see you Jace. I hope you are ready for whatever happens.” She told him, a warm smile on her face. Risako arrived shortly after but it seemed like Mako was nowhere to be seen. So she thought as the boy arrived. It must have already been 12:05. A little tardy but the fact that he arrived was all that mattered. The Anbu took the documents that the Chunin carried oh the missing ninja and the girl who went by Selena who was deeply connected with Kiranomo. She scanned the documents quickly, taking in all it’s content before closing them and handing them to Jace who would then pass it on to Ris. It would benefit them all if they all had the information for this mission. “Thank you Mako, this will certainly be useful. Alright, we’re moving out.” She began as she headed towards the gates; she expected that the chunin would follow.

“We have orders from the Hokage to remove Kiranomo Nara from the Fire Country. We will be giving her the option to leave on her own free will. If she resists, then that’s where things will unfortunately get messy. I need you three to be on your A game, there’s no telling how this will go.” She spoke as they made their way deeper into the forest. “We have reports of her recent whereabouts. We will scout there first and will spread out from there. We’ll go in teams of two. Jace, you’re with me. Risk and Mako, you two are together. We’ll use the communication headsets to keep in touch. If you two locate the target, don’t apprehend until I arrive.” She said what she had to say. She left the floor for questions while she reached into her cloak pocket and attached the communication headset. She would then toss a document towards Risako that contained the target’s recent locations. It was time for some hide and seek.

Shortly after Jace arrived on the scene his two other teammates arrived. The girl, Risako and the male, Mako, both showed up with what looked like summoning animals. Once everyone was in place, Mako handed out a document with some information on the Hell's Angel. Once they had all reviewed that information Jace would speak up. "She also has some sort of advanced sharingan, my clan's doujutsu. No one outside of the Uchiha clan should possess those eyes. She's likely skilled with using their genjutsu so be careful with that. If possible, I'd like to remove the sharingan from her. She also has some crazy chakra cloak thing with ten tails and can manipulate shadows. Be very careful." the boy said to his team. After that he simply listened to the orders he was given by the ANBU and adjusted his comm set to the correct frequency as the others, making sure they did the same. When that was finished he would follow Artemis to their desired location.

After listening and divulging what everyone had said Mako would begin forming a battle strategy based on what he knew of Kiranomo.  And the limitations of what he knew of the jutsu she had taught him.  Mako knew that the Haiton release would be a great weapon in the fight should it come to that.  So as he exited Mako would quickly form the hand seals to the Volcanic Immersion.  He needed to be sure he could cast it when the time arrived.  So just after everyone else left Mako would slap his hands and stomp his foot initiating the final activation requirement of the massive ash jutsu.  He would not focus the entirety of his chakra into it knowing that he just needed to know it worked and did not need the full effect.  A crack would form along the ground which would begin pouring ash out of it.  Mako would smile and light a new cigarette knowing that it was a huge success.  Mako had to be at the top of his game when meeting Kira for the second time.  this was his chance to prove himself to both the Kage and his family, a chance to show he had grown.  After seeing the Ash immersion performed successfully Mako would head off following Risako to the rendevous point, ready and willing to do what was necessary.

Following suit with Mako and co., Risako would trail along, her fox summons happily granting her with the energy she needed for Sage Mode.
