Waiting for the arriving day.
But, before the conclusion, there is another story that must be told.
Before the conclusion, there is one more thing that needs to be done.
Kozurou stepped out of his house, feeling unnaturally good. Well then, perhaps this would be one of those few days that he actually devoted to chakra training. After all, why not? He'd need to learn at least a few of those arts, otherwise, he'd be incompetent. He may not have been all that good with internal arts, but at the very least, his meridians should be able to comprehend something on the tier of the normal academy techniques that he had learned.
So what could possibly go wrong? Indeed, not much. Seriously, with a jutsu like this, someone with Kozurou's durability probably couldn't get injured. At any rate, he headed out to a good spot to train, a rather pleasant shaded training grounds with dark packed soil. Pretty good for what he was about to do. He'd been here a couple of times before, and the mists helped to make a good contrast with the area. Kozurou was no artist, though, so he paid little mind to things like that. Petty, paltry things.
At any rate, today, the boy was off to learn an earth technique. An easy one, as it turned out, one called rock section cane. It was an E-rank technique, and its execution was relatively simple, but Kozurou knew full well that the only thing he really had to do was learn to use chakra well. Neglect nothing, he thought to himself. A well balanced body and spirit only served to increase his combat prowess. All in all, this approach wasn't too bad, he thought. He knew that with disuse, some meridians, no matter how disfunctional, could with and die, creating sickness and disease. That wasn't going to be for him, he thought.
He wanted to keep his body in shape. After all, was that not his long term goal? To become one of the most powerful beings in the history of mankind to achieve power using external practice methods. Physical training, since he couldn't use chakra all that well. Had there not been stories of such folk? Even though they were JUST legends, there was truth behind every myth, there was a fact behind every tall tale. So, why not try? Besides, there wasn't much he could do otherwise.
At any rate, he was wasting time. Bending down, he would seize a clump of earth and charge his chakra into it. This was the easy part. The hard part was the pain that came afterward, the draining of energy. But at the very least, he could knead enough to charge into this specific piece of earth, elongating it and hardening it into a makeshift weapon. So, was this the rock section cane? Not a bad technique, all in all, he thought to himself. He tossed the stick aside and walked home, whistling. One down, another billion to go.
