By this time, almost two years now, he was expected to graduate. But he was missing one specific Jutsu in order to complete the examination, and he needed to do that A.S.A.P. By this time, he was able to weave signs quickly, memory was no longer a problem. The reminder of the examination coming up in about a week was a good wake up alarm. Learning some of the basic Jutsu's was fun, but he had to go straight down to business. It was time to become a Genin, and oh man was he excited for that. Placing his palms out, he would look through his notes for the Transformation Technique. He imagined how easy it was going to be, using the Clone Technique first before transforming. Then maybe he might make himself look like three stray dogs running around, maybe cause a little mess here or there. Or maybe he could make himself look like a pencil and cheat off of tests. What? Someone like him was just bound to do it regardless. However, with his current knowledge, he felt secure and lacked the need to cheat in the first place. Based on the notes that he was seeing, the signs needed to be... Dog, Boar, and Ram. That was it. All right, three simple signs and he was set.
Placing his hands together, he would begin to move them accordingly. Dog, Boar, and... And... Snake was a tempting choice, but he eventually chose Ram and successfully did the combination of signs. However, his body seemed to already lose energy from just doing that alone, and he did not care to give in already. And so he would focus his Chakra towards his palms, keeping a relaxed mind to let it flow gently. His joints began to ache, which was showing the stress the Jutsu had on him. His mind would obtain a small headache, but it was growing. Still however, the boy refused to let go, and the smoke around his body would begin to form. There was one trait that many thought would only harm him in the future. And while his body did stress, the clouds eventually did cover him up and change him to the form that he wanted. The trait was being stubborn. And that was one that many thought Nea should correct. However, without it, he would not be the being that he was today... A... Dog. Yup. Haru decided to turn himself into a dog, how lovely.
Trying to exclaim, he would end up howling loudly, quickly obtained the attention of the others around him. Well... That did not go as expected. It turns out, the body also adapts to the form of the transformation, thus making him unable to speak. And so the chase began as the villagers believed for him to be a stray, and it was fortunate that he chose the dog out of all things, where his stamina was much higher. A safe place to hide was needed, one where he could successfully revert back to the old form of himself. Shops had many people, and so only more would chase him and try to drive him out. Maybe he should try to get out of Suna and transform out safely. Then again, that would be a bit of a burden, considering how they might try to lock him out after that. So instead, he would just continue to charge through the shops, causing a mess in some in the process. Some confused and angry shopkeepers would scream, some chased, and some just didn't have a clue what to think. Haruki eventually began to lose energy, and felt himself about to pass out soon. It was time to admit defeat.
And so he would bolt out through the exit of the village, where no one would try to continue running out for him. Despite escaping, the dog would pant heavily before flopping to the side, eyes closed, sleeping due to the lack of Chakra. The transformation would disappear and reveal the boy once again, now lying on the grass sleeping. Someone will wake him up, he was sure of it. By that time, he would have regained all of his power again. Then it was time to take the exams. Being a student was fun, but only for a little bit. And two years, it just seemed far too long. And just like he predicted, someone did take pity on the child sleeping on the grass and woke him up a few hours later. The both of them went into the village, and Haruki would return back home to Aunt Nea, who was worrying for him. Of course, he had to lie about him hanging out with Shu and Freya, and since she did not really have time to look into it, and his scent was of grass, she just bought the story and allowed him to sleep for the rest of the night.
