Sand Traps [Private/Mission]

Hm, if you are going to throw in some tags to make sure of it, I might as well not waste any Chakra then. The Akari would explain with a smile, his arms placed behind his back as a white toothy grin would reveal itself. The next proposal offered was to look around to see if another one is out there, together this time as well. There was no doubt about it, there was too much danger when it came to this place, so it was best if they got out of there as soon as they could as a pair, rather than splitting up. His rollerblade would power once again as he sent his own Chakra towards them, and so he would then begin to skate at a starting speed of 10, but to heavily increase them after a few seconds up to 75 speed. It was not as easy to start rolling at a fast speed, but it was much easier to speed up. So eventually, provided Kyson moved at the speed that he was still going at then the both of them should eventually meet up. This was a travel through the desert, and he had only been in it a few times. However, there were some areas that seemed familiar. The layout of the sand, while some are different due to age, was pretty much the same as he saw it a few days ago when he met Akane. Though he did not remember having his eyes become active on that day, it was still interesting how he could remember something like that with such vivid detail.

Hey! Look what I found! Haruki would exclaim as he felt himself slowly being pulled in, but he got a grip of the current and would quick roll out of the quicksand trap that had been set for oncoming victims. After that, he would quickly flick out an explosive tag from his pouch. In the meantime, he would also take the time to skate around the trap, because it was just fun for him. Now the next thing he needed to do was place the tag on the trap without getting his hand stuck in it. This required delicacy in order to carry out. His right hand infused with Chakra, he would slowly slip the tag into the sand trap, allowing it to carry away the tag, which will soon go off once it got to the center. The explosion seemed big enough, but who was he to determine that? With that out of the way, he would giggle a little bit before raising himself back up again, a victorious right fist slammed upwards in victory! Got it! Too easy! The Akari would declare before then giving himself some distance between him and the trap.

"I was saying if you were to a fire jutsu, then you should use an explosive tag to make sure it does the trick. Because I'm not sure if fire will do the trick." Kyson would say to haruki. If he had another way of destroying the sand traps, it didn't matter to Kyson. As long as the sand traps are destroyed, he doesn't care how he does it. But they are still in a little hurry and need to get moving. So it is now time to head out. As Kyson was moving at little faster and now moving at his top speed. They were now on the look out for another sand trap. This mission is really good practice to learning how to survive in the desert. So the next part of the exams shouldn't be difficult. As they were running and being on the lookout. Haruki spoke and it seemed he found one. Kyson would stop to see how he handles it. He saw him take out his explosive tag and place ti in the sand trap. Then a good explosion happened, taking out the sand trap.

"Good work, lets get moving. I don't how much of them there are. But, I have a good feeling there are a few more out there." Kyson said.

"Alright, you ready?" Kyson said as he is waiting for Haruki's response. If he wasn't ready Kyson would stay put until he is. if he was ready, Kyson would nod and would begin to head out at a speed of 50. As Kyson was running, he suddenly felt his feet becoming heavier and heavier. It seemed he stepped in a sand trap. He was so caught up in looking for one further away, he didn't notice one that was close by. As Kyson began to sink slowly. If Haruki was near by, Kyson would look at him calmly.

"Don't worry, I can get myself out." Kyson said as he began to sink even more. Kyson would use his hiding like a mole technique to sink underground. From others point of view, it would look like Kyson was sinking in the quick sand. But Kyson was really merging his chakra through the earth and merging with the fine sand. He would then move underground and pop up on the surface right outside of the quicksand. A jutsu like that is really helpful in this type of situation, Kyson had almost forgot about it. Kyson would make one explosive clone by making the clone hand seal. Sending the clone inside the quick sand and letting it explode once it reaches under the sand trap. 

"Guess I should be more careful huh?" Kyson would say with a slight chuckle. He was caught being clumsy. But he wasn't embarrassed in the slightest bit. 

"Alright, lets move out again." Kyson said as he would run at a speed of 50 in search of another sand trap.

Haruki has a Green thumb when it came to Chakra. Or perhaps a blue thumb? Little did it matter, the point was that he was not going to be using Chakra if he will end up be using the same explosive tags in the end. While it may work, that was not a risk he could take if Kyson was not so sure about it. He seemed to have a good idea of Chakra flow, and the environment was a little more foreign to the Akari than it was his partner. So he would like to think at least. So even the slightest doubt will have the Akari calm away from the idea, refusing to approach it once again. But before he could respond, it seems that he was cool with what the Akari had chosen, so Haruki would stop himself from opening up his jumpy excited smiling lips, which normally looked for a way to open themselves up. The next thing to occur was Kyson telling him he did a good job with the trap, allowing him to raise up his fists happily, knowing that he did very well. See, he had much pride as it was, but not arrogance. However, both can be fueled with compliments such as that, and that was what his mission partner did. Out of instincts, he would jump into the air a little bit before emitting a "WOO!" from his mouth, which may have seemed random, but it felt so right to do anyways. Once that happened, he would end up hearing the next instruction. Aye Captain! The child would reply, saluting his right hand up to his forehead with his stupid little grin, then following by pressing himself. Of course, he didn't start off too strongly, but he improved as he pushed at 15 at first before increasing his speed while in the desert, reaching up to 75 speed so that he could catch up to his mission partner.

As they travelled, he would feel the same sensation that he had felt before, only to see it in the direction that Kyson was headed towards. Huh...? Doesn't he see it? Obvious questions came with obvious answers. By the time he was able to see the answer in front of him, it was far too late. Kyson! Haruki would call out, trying to form the clone hand sign, only to notice the facial expression of his partner. It was calm... And the words that followed... No, at the academy, he had to always help others that were fighting by his side! Those who were unable to do so might lose their partners, thus resulting in a loss of someone that could be very important. Like heck I will let you go like that! The jumpy child would exclaim, almost releasing the Chakra, only for the ground below him to shake a little bit before a Kyson appeared from below. What? But... But... How did you...? The Akari would ask as he looked around to see what was inside... And then it clicked in the back of his mind. What an amazing trick, to think that clone jutsu's can trick his own eyes as well, even if it did not look like a trick designed for him. This was proof that an ally was able to trick a fellow ally, resulting in some things that can cause realistic emotions to come out... Interesting strategy that he might need to try out. There was one person in particular that he would like to see react to see if she would act upon it... Or perhaps see some sort of use from his death. It was to see what she really thought, since anyone can do things and say whatever they want. The Academy taught him to not be too trusting until there is proof, and he felt very attached to her... So that was why he would like to test her.

All right! The child would exclaim as he would smile once again, this time looking to get himself towards the next trap. It seems like they were dealing it with the handful here. Provided he got there first, he might be able to open up a tag, then use a bit of fire to trigger the tag, the release it. With that, he would skate at 100 speed, not quite the fastest, but not quite the worst speed either. It was nearing his maximum, and still felt relaxing. Blinking once more, he would reveal his Golden Eyes as he scanned the scene, the light particles sending him to a couple more traps set up for unfortunate travelers who end up falling into them. The nearest one was about a minute away according to his eyesight. So the Akari would press harder against the sand, going all out at his 125 speed, the Chakra from the rollerblades leaving a trail of blue behind him, showing that he activated its ability, allowing him to go even faster than before. Welcome to the end of the mission, there are not too many left. About two or three if Haruki remembered right. Yes, a number in his mind is not too much to worry about, when there was 3000 on the line at the end of it. Sadly, he was cut down to one tag however, resulting in him lacking a bit. Could the Lightning clones work? Eh, they did explode, and he could send up to three at a time. It did not seem like a bad idea, so he would plan on doing that if he needed to get rid of the other two traps that were in place.

As he skated by, he felt his body lowering again. However, the bowl that would attempt to make him sink would not prevent him from moving, but his body being so light and the speed he was traveling at, he would end up spinning around the edge of the bowl. Provided he did not get to the center of it, he would not get pulled in by the power of the trap. WEEEEE! Haruki would squeal in happiness, having a little bit of fun for a few seconds. After that, he would get back onto the mission to see what he had left to do. Drop a tag into the trap. That was all in all honesty. So he would have Chakra activate in his palm, where that said palm would flick a tag out and set the tag on fire due to the heat. With that, he would drop it into the center before skating out of the bowl, preventing him from taking the bad end of the explosion. And of course, cool guys never needed to look at explosions. So he would just look away as a small explosion would occur from behind. He placed his palms in his pockets as he closed his eyes and let out a toothy grin to the world. Once he opened them again, they would return back to light brown. Boom! I got it! Shall we continue on?

After Kyson was out of the sand trap. Haruki had a confused and shocked look on his face. It seemed he wasn't expecting that to happen. Kyson had totaly forgot he could just use that jutsu if he ever got caught in a sand trap. With Kyson's technique and mark seals place on both the shinobi, the two were more than prepared for the sand traps. Kyson was ready to head out and look for more sand traps. So the two would begin to search for any remaining ones. As Kyson was running at a speed of 100, he noticed Haruki's eyes began to light up. It looked as if he was sensing the area. He then began to head towards a sand trap. 


"Go on ahead and destroy it, I'll get the last remaining ones." Kyson would say as he made the clone hand seal and made two explosive clones. As Haruki was going his direction, Kyson was going another, and the two clones were also going their separate paths. This way they could knock out multiple sand traps at once. As Kyson was getting ready to approach the sand trap, he would wait until one of his clones reached their sand trap and explode. Kyson would wait about a minute. He then sensed both of his explosion clones disappearing. That was good new, that meant two more sand traps were found and destroyed. It was a good thing Kyson had been working on his stamina because for an average shinobi, using these clones and making them explode takes up a good amount of chakra if used carelessly like Kyson is. But he has been working on his endurance so he will be fine. After the other two clones did their job, Kyson would summon one more explosive clone and destroy this sand trap in front of him. After that was done, Kyson would then run towards where ever Haruki was at. He would be running at a speed of 50. Once he reached him, he would then began to speak.


"I think that is about the last of them, you ready to head back?" Kyson would say to Haruki. On their way back they could still keep their eyes open for any more sand traps just in case they did not miss any somewhere. But Kyson is pretty confident that they got just about all of them. Or at least enough to the point where civilians wouldn't see it as a problem.

Aye! I'll go turn it in! Haruki would tell Kyson, placing his hands out before placing his feet against the ground, the wheels clashing with the sand and pressing him forward again. With that, he would depart with his copy of the mission, and Kyson with his hopefully. The both of them could claim their rewards since they had signed up as partners, so they could do so at any time. Sure, they will only receive half of the initial reward Pfft x3, but they were able to clear it just about easily. Overall, it was a successful mission result, and it was time to depart now. Thanks for the help Kyson! See ya around! The Akari would exclaim, waving as he would roll off in the distance, going at the moderate speed of 75 before eventually disappearing if he were not followed. The last thing for him to do now is to turn in the job and call it a day. The Kage hopefully does not mind him coming on Chakra Blades hopefully. Eh, it would not be the worst way to enter, and who does not like to see a little bit of entertainment from the ambitious child?

After the two shinobi finally got the last bit of the Sand traps left. It was now time to head back. The mission went very well, nothing difficult since it was only a B rank mission. So it luckily it didn't take long and he was matched with someone that could get the job done. He still never asked Haruki about those eyes because he had seen them before. On top of all that, seeing how strong he had become in just a short period of time. Maybe he'll ask him about it another time. As they headed back to the village, it was a successful mission.


"Alright cool, I'll see you around also Haruki." Kyson said as he is on his way to submit his mission details. A little quick ryo and some slight training. It was a pretty good day for Kyson.
