Here to Stay (IO/NK)

It was late at night and the rain storm had picked up. Perfect weather for Miz Hozuki! The lightning was off in the distance so he had no fear r worry of getting struck by it. He came to a small area with some rubble and realized that this had once been the mizukage monument. He sighed as his puddle began to form a human, of course him. He looked at the monument with crossed arms and rather hurt. He liked Xyxer and maybe it was because he was a Hozuki like he was. Members of his clan for some reason were few and far between and even though he only met him once, for some unknown reason Miz really liked him. And he felt rather betrayed when he found out bout his departure. He thought he had found someone to look up to, but it turned out to be just another sad disappointment in Miz's life.
He sighed as kicked some of the rubble out of anger!
"Maybe it was my fault for letting my guard down and letting someone into my life..." He said as a tear strolled down his cheek and kicking another piece of rubble. Was there no one he could really call a friend or mentor, besides the one person he had recently met? So far, Altar seemed like a decent person. He was to upset to really meet the new one or even consider him a leader, because in his life, every leader or mentor or person he consider someone to trust had let him down. "Fuck politics and the government..." He muttered kicking two more pieces of rubble!

Talent... Work. Some people, no doubt the idealists in life, said that hard work mattered more than talent. That they would rather hire a hard working person rather than a merely talented person any day. These people, Kozurou thought to himself, were foolish. They did not understand the relationship between the two at all. Talent was a person's innate potential, and as such, it could actually hold a person back. No matter how hard working a person was, they could not break through the bottlenecks provided by the ceiling of their talent. So, in essence, only those with great talent could even possibly make it far.

Then again, he'd heard of people who kept breaking through the bottlenecks provided by low innate talent, whether through the acquisition of powerful tools, or simply through good luck. This could only account, however, for about four percent of people. Certainly, most of Kirigakure could not belong to this category, right? So in the meantime, he must train and find out exactly how far he could go. Limit training! That was key to discovering the upper ceiling of his own talent. Still, to focus on the "now" and the "present" was the right path. Earth element... shikotsumyaku... taijutsu. These were the three main assets he had, and he'd neglected at least one of them.

So today, he'd work on his weaknesses, and smooth them out. After all, weaknesses... well, were for the weak. And his path was that of the strong, of course. Strength was what got people far in this world, no matter what the idealists might say or implement. Power could override all social orders, and allow the powerful to create their own rules in this world and era.

On his way to his destination, he just so happened to pass the ruined Mizukage monument. Broken. There just so happened to be a guy there, kicking rubble... he didn't look too strong, though Kozurou wasn't experienced enough. He'd pause for a second to take a look at this guy... how'd he get here, and why did he look so comfortable in the rain?

Now, that was an interesting ability. A sort of... amorphous water body? What else could he do with that? And, most importantly, how did it react with... well, things that normally reacted with water. Pure sodium, cesium... things like electricity. If Kozurou were to drop a lump of pure alkali metal in him, would he blow up? After all, that's how it worked with water. These weren't the psychotic thoughts of a madman, however, but the methodological processes of someone who has never known the appeal of the subjective and visceral. He might never realize just how much he was missing out on, but he always knew exactly what he had available, if that made any sense.

There was no doubt,though, that this boy was pretty strange. The fact that he had decided to approach Kozurou in such a way immediately put him on guard. So, this kid was capable of using chakra, huh? What sort of other techniques could he use? There was really no telling.

"You can start by telling me what you just did." Kozurou would seem to be relaxed, but every muscle that he could voluntarily move was ready to go at the slightest sign of danger.

Miz quizzically looked at the boy as he questioned what he had just done. Has he never seen a Hozuki before or encountered the hydrification technique? Apparently not. The voices in his head had just subsided, therefore he did not have to calm those down before answering his question! He took a deep breathe and sighed before explaining what he just did, he wasn't use to casual conversation after all!
"It is the my clans, the  Hozuki clans, bloodline, it's called Hydrification, which means I can liquify my body to water and change back to human form at will." It was a straightforward answer and the truth. Should he go into more detail? That might be a god idea to help explain Hydrification especially if someone had never heard of it.
"I can move across the ground in the puddle and I can also merge with larger bodies of water, like the sea for example, if I wanted to. It takes a lot of practice and chakra." He added to his explanation. It was a good answer. He was satisfied with his reply. Not much more to explain.

The Hozuki clan... Kozurou would put that information away in his head. Should he hear of it again later, he'd associate it with this... hydrification ability. Impressive, to be sure. If a Hozuki could upkeep that, it could nullify most physical attacks, which meant that Kozurou, at least for the time being, should probably stay passive... should the Hozuki feel like getting aggressive, Kozurou did have a plan, but it wasn't one that he really liked. There was no strategy to it, no finesse. Still, he'd do what was necessary to preserve himself, even if it meant expending a bunch of energy to do so.

"It takes a lot of chakra, huh? You probably shouldn't be throwing around your energy so carelessly... you never know when you might need it." Alright, well, this wasn't REALLY a threat, it was more of a fact. Kozurou was hopelessly dedicated to fact.

"Well, I guess since you explained what your bloodline does, I'll have a go. I'm Kozurou, and my bloodline has something to do with my bones." Here, Kozurou would frown slightly. "Although, I haven't done much with it yet. It just seems to enable me to take more punishment in fights... though it does make limit training a lot easier."

Bones?  Only obe clan he really knew of had to deal with bones and that was the Kaguya! He knew of them because of Sephora and Dante, the Kaguya- Hyuuga hybrid twins! A warrior clan that were good fighters, much like his clan. Wait was this kid a threat?
"Hes a threat, he will kill you!"
"Your worthless and deserve death. "
"Take this kid out, bring honor to your name!"
He felt them and heard them again in his head, they really felt threatened bybthis kid, proof that being an inteovert was much safer for Miz, but he needed to make friends at sone point! He shook his head trying to shut the voices up. "Shut up." He mumbled. As he shook his head and closed his eyes. Then he continued the conversation between him an Kozoru.
"Kaguya? One of the warrior clans that make use of their bones through jutsus. I have friends who are half breeds, half Kaguya and half Hyuuga." He said hoping. He had not scared this kid away.

Not having any kind of training in enhanced observation, Kozurou didn't catch exactly what the kid mumbled. Had he heard, though, he probably would have been even more on guard. One didn't simply go around tossing rude phrases like "Shut up", even if it wasn't specifically directed at the person before you. Although, it intrigued him to know that there were half breeds running around. He'd have to eliminate them, in that case. If the bloodline was leaking out of the clan, it was his job to ensure that a purge happened. As far as he knew, he was one of the few active pureblood Kaguya ninja left, which bothered him a little. Were things really deteriorating that much? Though he prioritized his own things first, he realized quickly that if things got out of control, he'd be put at fault for not taking action.

Raising an eyebrow in interest at Miz, Kozai would speak up again.

"Oh? I'd like to meet them, if possible. I haven't met many other of my clan members, and as it is, I need a bit of help with my Shikotsumyaku training. You know how tough it can get, right?" Well... maybe he didn't, but Kozurou would have at least made his point.
