A letter to the Mizukage
Sun Sep 04, 2016 4:11 pm
Kalix approaches the great building where the new "Mizukage" holds his seat of power. With his trench coat on and a letter sealed with the Terumi symbol in his hand he would enter the doors of the Kirigakure head quarters. He would suspect that the new leader would get countless letters and invitations from the citizens, but kalix knew that he above all others would gain an audience.
Kalix dropped off the letter at the front desk. The letter, titled "His eternal greatness, Lord Mizukage". If the new lord would open the letter he would read the following message:

The superme lord Mizukage,
A new dawn rises from the east. You, lord Mizukage, are the all powerful who grants me sanctum within the Shadows of the new Kirigakure. I know little of you nor do I worry my mind with questions to learn more of you; I only know of the legends others tell me of your greatness.
While you have ushered in a new light some like myself have been ushered into this new age blind, dazzled by the glory that is the new Lord Mizukage.
I seek your infinite wisdom, great one. While my body and mind are strong my age restricts me to be of more service to you. Rather than be doomed to rot in the infinite nothingness that is the past I humbly ask for an audience with you.
As my master I wish to show you an example of my talents, so that I may be of more use to my lord.
I wait for your reply.
All hail the Mizukage!
Kalix
At the bottom of the letter would be an address to where Kalix lives. The letter would be presented in the most beautiful penmanship and the most exquisite parchment available to Kalix. He hoped that these gestures would in turn grant him time with the Mizukage, or least somebody who can point him in the right direction.

Naturally, due to the whole fiasco involving a midget bodybuilder and an exploding letter back in Tengakure, Xyxer had been weary of letters throughout the entirety of his own kageship. As such, the new secretary was busy opening all of the letters assigned to him for the day, cutting into the usual drivel with the letter opener before placing them into a pile which determined their urgency, and this letter was no different to the rest.
When Xyxer finally got around to reading it, the endless fluff somewhat amused him moreso than inspired him as it was likely intended, Kalix of the Terumi clan. Xyxer would remember his name, but not send a letter back. Perhaps he would walk into him during a visit to town, granted the boy was a social one and not a complete hermit. Wouldnt that be a surprise. Putting the letter into the top drawer of his desk, Xyxer went back to the usual errands for the day.

Receiving no invitation from the new Mizukage Kalix would wait patiently but receive no reply. Days would pass by and assuming by the lack of response Kalix would give up on hearing back from him. Alas his attempt to earn favor with the new leader came off as unintentionally gaudy, or perhaps the use of flowery language gave the Mizukage doubts about Kalix's intentions. Never the less Kalix would worry little about the non-response.
Kalix however did worry about his place in the village. People didn't pay much mind to grown Terumi clansman anymore. OR they did and Kalix is just bored with their flattery. Either way in order to remedy that Kalix much change his approach. He will eventually gain that prestige soon; well if he survives.
