Kamina got ready for his sparring session with Ryden he was confident in his victory this time. He felt he knew all his masters trucks and even had a few of his own up his sleeve. The day started out normal with them doing their regular training and then Kamina giddy with excitement asked to spar. Ryden smiled and laughed “well if you want to do this so bad then lets” he took his place a few meters away from Kamina and faced him. Kamina took his stance and charged he did his basic attack of leaf whirlwind but Ryden dodged and then countered with a swift kick. Kamina fell back but jumped right back on his feet he did fire release fire steam in a blind attempt to hurt him. And Ryden countered with a kunai with an explosive tag. Kamina knew what he would do next. And just as expected Ryden sent out a clone which Kamina side stepped and then lunged for the Real Ryden. This time he had him right where he wanted him he did the hand signs for immaterial Sword. Boar→ Ram→ Rat and created his ethereal sword he then charged at Ryden only to have him dodge yet again. He then threw the sword at him and it went through two trees and nearly got Ryden. Kamina had him on the ropes he could tell “looks like today's sparring session is ending differently” he called out cocky. Ryden smiled “right let's end this” he did some hand signs Kamina couldn't recognize and then he waited for some sort of attack. Yet everything was the same but soon Kamina noticed that there were figures coming from the trees and and everywhere else he wondered who these people were but soon he realized they weren't people. They were some sort of hazy illusion before he could do anything he was surrounded. Kamina sliced them with his sort to open a hole to escape but for everyone he struck down two appeared in its place. Kamina panicked what was he supposed to do he kept at but more appeared he couldn't breathe and dropped to his knees. But as soon as that happened the dispersed. Ryden ran over concerned only to see Kamina's smiling face “teach me “. Ryden sighed that's what he got for using a flashy jutsu around Kamina but he agreed to do it tomorrow.

And so Kamina returned the next day ready to learn he waited for Ryden for an hour before he showed up. “What took you so long he said” Ryden groggily walked in the training field “I woke up early for you kid you better appreciate that”. Alright so this is how it begins the hand signs are as follows Ryden did them slowly Boar→ Rat. This Jutsu brings out 10 illusions out to attack the enemy. As you learned last time these things don't harm you they are mainly used as a distraction. When an enemy strikes one down two more appear in its place in order to keep the opponent from realizing its all an illusion you should throw in some actual long range attacks to keep him on his feet. Kamina took this all in practicing the hand signs for the Jutsu Boar→ Rat over and over slowly to get the hang of it
He felt ashamed of how scared he had gotten when he was trapped in that Jutsu. So he vowed to overcome his fear of it. He closed his eyes and pictured those illusions for whatever reason they sent chills up his spine he couldn't explain it but he wanted to forget it. The more he tried the more he realized he needed to confront those things again. So after a few hours of practice that led him nowhere he asked Ryden a question. “Can you place me under that genjutsu again” Ryden was surprised “what” “look i need to do this okay” so Ryden Obliged and Kamina was surrounded by those same illusions. This time he looked at them very closely and when they raised their arms to attack he closed his eyes. And when he opened his eyes they were gone he had learned to dispel them but could he use the Jutsu himself. He tried but couldn't get the hang of it something was holding him back and if it wasn't fear what was it. He thought about for a while before realizing he really didn't believe in them how could he expect his opponent to take these illusions for real if he didn't. So he did the hand signs again Boar→ Rat and this time really imagined those illusions coming out of very surrounding and surrounding everything. He really concentrated his hardest on believing it all happening he opened his eyes to see ten phantoms surrounding he started to freak out and lose concentration. And one by one they started to fade away but he calmed himself down and they started to reappear again. And soon all stood before in a circle Kamina didn't know what to do now. When Ryden said “you need to tell where to go” Kamina nodded and closed his eyes but they didn't move and he started getting frustrated and the more he concentrated the more the faded away and the cycle continued. And before long they were all gone “ahhh” Kamina kicked a tree in anger when Ryden said “you're trying to force it you have to be calm and maneuver them like chess pieces “. Kamina took this in kind and tried again as calm as he thought possible and summoned the phantoms from the surroundings but didn't know where to send them. He thought of Ryden and then they slowly moved towards him Ryden didn't notice he was looking away and Kim smiled. And then before he noticed that they were all surrounding him in a large circle Ryden smiled “looks like you got the hang of it”. He looked around for Kamina when all of a sudden he leaped from behind and kicked Ryden knocking him down. Kamina proud of himself said “Told you i'd get you”
