Hikari's (Failed) Attempt to train at the reserve

Waking up with a yawn, Hikari was up at about noon. Her sleep schedule was still off due to the entire, ‘gotta save a bunch of people! Won’t even change out of my bikini before I run out into public’ stunt. She was surprised that she wasn’t kicked out of the village because of that. She was told that Kyosuke Snow did want a word with her, when he was back from, whatever it was that he was doing. It was quite strange, Hikari met the massive man during her genin exams, he then suddenly disappeared and now Hikari wanted to become a Chunin, and he still isn’t back yet! It didn’t make a lot of sense to the young Namikaze, was he sick? Was he having personal problems? What was going on? Hikari wanted to know the answers, but knew at this point of time she wasn’t going to get any of them, so she just decided that it would be best if she gave up about it. Hikari would go through her basic normal everyday routine, get up, bathe, shave, brush her teeth, before sitting down to eat breakfast. As she was enjoying a delicious pair of waffles, she would continue reading a book on her current jutsu she was working on. Majestic Fire Destruction is an A rank fire style jutsu. After forming the hand signs, Rat → Ox → Dog → Horse → Monkey → Boar → Tiger, the user can summon forth a great sized stream of fire from their mouth; this jutsu is much like its sister jutsu, Great Fire Annihilation. The only difference is that this jutsu does not widen when summoned, and is used for hit hitting a single area. The user can perform this technique by taking a deep breath, and forming fire in the user’s lungs. Once this is done, the user exhales it, shooting the flame at their intended target.

Hikari would put that book down. While she felt that the great fire annihilation jutsu was one she needed to know, she also thought that she had learned enough fire jutsu for now. Also, she had been spending some time on it and felt like this wasn’t a good jutsu for her to learn. The maiden would look go to another book and pick it up, and open it to a book marked page. It read as following. The flower scattering dance is a wind style b ranked jutsu. In it, the user summons a cyclone of immense power that can be manipulated by the users dominant arm moving to direct it. The user preforms the technique by using the hand signs, Tiger, Hare, Dragon, The user can learn how to use this technique by focusing wind chakra in the user’s hand and letting it go flying out of the user’s hand in a single direction. Hikari really wanted to learn this technique, but right now, it was a jutsu that wasn’t really needed for Hikari to learn. While she wanted it, she didn’t really need a b-rank wind jutsu in her arsenal right now. She put the book back and would go to her shelf with a bunch of ninjutsu books in it. Hikari would pick one up and open it and look at one of the techniques in the book.

The fire style: great dragon flame jutsu, is a b rank Fire jutsu. It is performed by he user compressing a large amount of chakra built up inside the lungs of their body and changes it into a dragon head-shaped fireball. The user then skilfully manipulates that great fire, shooting up to six of these and it attacks their designated target. Even once the fire ball goes outside of the attack range the attack’s power can keep going just slowly loosing fire power. The flames have a high temperature, as they can create an upward movement of air currents which in turn can give rise to storm clouds. A master of this technique can fire off several flames in succession and anyone caught in the technique could potentially be reduced to ashes. The hand signs for this technique is merely a single tiger symbol.

The young female shinobi really liked this technique, but then would look at the pictures of the flame dragon. It was quite a horrifying looking flame. As in it looked like it was a flame a demon would use right out of a young child’s nightmare. So Hikari would put the book down (In a rather hurried manner.)

The bookworm would pick up another book on the side. Top of the book shelf and look through it, there was one jutsu that caught her attention, It was called the crimson earth spider technique. It looked interesting, so Hikari would it read as following The Crimson eart spider technique is a b rank fire style jutsu where The user spews out fire that both surrounds the enemy and then transforms some more fire into a spider that then charges out and lashes at the enemy. The jutsu requires the following hand signs, Tiger → Horse → Rat → Dog → Tiger.
Hikari Namikaze wasn’t a big fan of the jutsu, it didn’t seem to have much going for it in the way of power, distance, or speed. On top of that, the jutsu also looked quite creepy, just like the dragon technique before it. Hikari would stick out her tongue and put it away before going on to another jutsu.

The young maiden would look at her jutsu library a little bit more it sort of dawned on her that she never had such a problem finding a technique for her to learn. After looking around her she would find another technique that she liked, it was called the blade of the wind. Intrested in it, she would continue to read the technique. The blade of the wind tecnique is an A rank wind style jutsu where the user crafts chakra between their fingers and maintains it for one post, during this time the user can project the chakra as a single blade from the tips of their fingers that is about 3 feet in length.
The young maiden would love this technique, but it required her to be a lot closer to her opponent then she wanted. She was right now working on her techniques that allowed her to be far away while putting a lot of fire power down on the enemy. This technique required her to use a lot closer to her opponent then she wanted to be.

The chestnut haired girl would look around in her Library for another jutsu. She really should probably start returning some of these books. Hikari would really think for a minute as to why she was taking so long to find a technique that she really liked! It was so unlike her to take so long finding a new technique. After a few more minutes of looking around, The young Namikaze would find a book that she was really wanting to learn more about. It was a technique called the Rain tiger at will technique. Hikari knew that she wasn’t a water user, but she loved this technique and wanted to learn it. Hikari would read it The Rain tiger at will technique is an A rank water style jutsu. When the user forms the handsigns, Bird → Rat → Ox → Monkey → Rat → Snake the jutsu will causes the sky to darken, rain to fall from the sky infused with the user’s chakra, this allows the user to flood the field with water that they can use for their own jutsu. The Rain is also linked with the user’s chakra, allowing them to extend their reaction time to each raindrop to detect everything around them. Due to the users chakra being in the rain, others cannot use any kind of water style jutsu from water that was made from the rain. Hikari loved this, but knew that this wasn’t A jutsu that she could learn due to the fact that she couldn’t use water style jutsu. But maybe one day. Maybe one day.

Hikari Namikaze would put her books and scrolls down and continue to eat some food. She never had such a problem finding Jutsu to learn before. It was getting mundane at this point. After finishing her breakfast, she would go back to her living room and would look at her book shelf again. After 10 minutes of looking at through the book shelf, she would final find a jutsu that was in her intreast. Hikari would open a scroll and look down to it. She would open up and read it, Wind style, wind rejuvenation, is an A rank jutsu where the user takes in a deep breath of air and pushes the body beyond it normal methods. The air moves from the lungs and out into the blood stream circulating even more than what the body usually allows. This delivers air to the muscles and allows them to regenerate faster than normal, allowing them to push themselves beyond the basic limits. It also allows the user to force their chakra network beyond their basic limits. The user claps their hands together and takes a deep breath. Hikari would smile, she found her jutsu. She needed an A rank boost. With that, Hikari would smile and memorize the technique. She would decide to go to the wild life reserve. That being said, she was also going to the lake, which means……

Hikari would go into her closet and get out the small piece of cloth that was supposed to be what she was supposed to wear. With all honestly, Hikari almost preferred to go out in her underwear rather than the clothing that she was supposed to wear. Hikari would slip out of her clothes, putting the bikini on, she would slip her clothes on. Once that was done Hikari would leave her apartment, and start to leave to go to the wild life reserve.
The young genin would make her way out of the village and head towards the Tachibana Wildlife Reserve. It was a wonderful day out, the sun was shining on the Haven, a slight breeze would blow through the city to stop it from getting unbearably hot outside due to the heat. It was a perfect day for training! Hikari Namikaze would start to head toward the protected wildlife area. Once she was about half way their though, she would find an odd sight. She would find a group of bandit’s harassing a group of traveling merchants, it looked like the bandits had the people in the group tied up and was going through their caravan. Three were 5 people tied up, and about 10 bandits. The young chestnut haired girl would smile, her hair blowing slightly because of the wind, the sixteen year old girl who had only been training for about a month or so now would of felt scared at this situation not long ago. But now, she would confidently approach the group.

As she got about 20 meters from the caravan, she would cry out to the men, “Hello! She would say with a warm smile on her face, and would continue. “My name is Hikari Namikaze! Mind if I ask you yours and what you are doing?”


(Children, remember, Hikari is secretly an Egotistical showoff. This is an absolutely horrible idea to do, even if you are strong enough to pull it off. So, we would like to remind all children reading this to remember, WWHD? Establish what would Hikari do, and the proceeded to do the exact opposite)
The men were busy going through their new stolen loot and didn’t notice Hikari was approaching until the skiny girl was right on them. A few of them went for their weapons, a few just chuckled, either way, they all started moving towards the young maiden, eventualy surrounding her. The young girl would smile, trying to stay calm, and would let. Them. They were all about 5 meters away from her and one would approach her.

“Why, hello little Mrs. missy!” He would say, in an obviously overly exaggerated fake happiness, it was done in a way that he was making fun of her. “What are you doing all the way out here?”

Ignoring his attempt to make fun of her, she would continue to respond, talking like she was supper happy to see them. “Well, you see, I heard that some merchants were coming this way! I was hoping to check on them and see what they were selling, have you seen them around?” This is a lie, she only just knew that

The bandit would chuckle and say, “Well, little Mrs. Missy, It appears that I am that merchant you are looking for! However, unfortunely, it appears like we don’t need any more money!” He would say and Hikari would raise an eyebrow, what is this about? If this wasn’t for money, than Hikari had no idea why these people were being robbed, “You see, we just found a way to…. Eliminate …. our cost of goods sold. As such, we no longer have a need to get funds, but how about this, you and I can go into the back of my caravan here, alone, and we can…. Discuss …... What you can give us for our fine products!”

Hikari would continue to smile innocently, but was twitching on the inside. Please don’t let her of heard this man right. What was he thinking! Hikari was sixteen! She would respond with, Well, you see, I am not here to make a purchase. I just want to make sure they get to Hoshi alright.”

The man would look at her a little bit weirdly, “Um, well, wait… why would you be here to check on them? I mean us. Why are you here to check on us?”

The slim girl would pull up her skirt a little bit and show the man that on her upper thy she was wearing a Hoshi Shinobi headband. “Well, because I am a Genin from Hoshi, and we like to make sure that our merchants are safe getting to and from our village. We just wanted to make sure that they are safe right now.”
The men would look at it and just have blank face for a minute, Hikari Namikaze would smile, and would walk straight up to the man. She would give the man another innocent smile, before giving him a hard left slap the man in the face. Not even a normal strike to the face, just one strong slap on the face. The man would stumble back and land on his butt. He wouldn’t scream in pain, he wouldn’t cry, he wouldn’t do anything to show that he was in pain. He would just sit there, looking like he was in absolute in shock. After all of them staring at Hikari for a second, (Thinking about how much of an idiot she is, once again, Childern, remember, Hikari is a dumb idiot. You should always remember that just because Hikari does something, doesn’t mean it is right.) After looking at her absolutely dumbfounded, he would order his men to ‘Get the bitch!’ And they would all start to charge at her.

3 men would come at her, the first one would take out katana with a sharpness of 100 and at a speed of 30 try to cut her head off. The secone one would pull out a cross bow and attempt to hit her in the eye, pulling it out at a speed of 25 and a sharpness of 50. The third would try to throw a knife at her at a speed of 25 and a sharpness of 50. Hikari would smile and dodge, ducking under the three strikes at a speed of 100, and then moving back into place, that way to the men it would look like they were going at a speed of 100. This was faster than they could see and to their eyes, so to their vision, they couldn’t even see Hikari move, so it looked like the cuts just went through her. The men would look kind of scared at her, and Hikari would go up to the man with the katana and step in and remember her training in the gym, and strike at the man with a katana. She would deliver a straight punch to the man’s jaw, but at a strength of 10, it didn’t do much. He would look a back at Hikari after the punch, and Hikari swing at the man again. Thinking back to the point that was doing work at the gym, punching the bags, she would do more strikes. She would preform a left straight, right low kick, Right hook, left mid kick step back, right hook, left straight, push kick, right straight, right high kick, left straight, right hook duck to the left, right high kick. As the kick made contact with the man’s face, he would finally fall down and hit the ground, out cold. (1 down, 9 to go) The maiden would look back at the others who were just looking at her very scared at her, they probably couldn’t even keep up with her, at this point. They would look at her like she was death, but one would come at her again with another Katana, once again with a sharpness of 100 and at a speed of 30 try to cut her head off. Hikari would smile and duck under the strike again and counter him with another insane combination. Hikari would wait until the sword was out of range, and then would perform a left push kick, to knock her blade out of his hand, and then would perform a left hook, as he backed up a little bit, she would step in to chase him down, preform a right upper cut, let upper cut, step back, right straight, right straight, left straight, right low kick, left high kick, right straight, left straight, left straight, right straight, left straight, push kick, right hook, left hook, right straight, left mid kick, right high kick, left straight, right hook, right low kick, right hook, right high kick, left straight, right hook, right low kick, left hook, Right hook, left mid kick step back, right hook, left straight, push kick, right hook, left straight, push kick, right straight, right high kick. push kick, right straight, right high kick, step into a right upper cut and back up, right high kick, left straight, right hook, right low kick, Right hook, and follow up with a right hook. As the right hook would connect, the man would fall, he was probably out cold also. (2 down, 8 to go) Two of the men would pull out crossbows would shoot at Hikari, who would shoot at a speed of 25 and a sharpness of 50. Hikari would duck under the two and would use the sign of the bird, and shoot four wind bullets at a speed of 50 and at a power of 50 at the men. They would hit the two that shot crossbows and would continue to hit two more. They would hit him in the chest, it would drop them also, probably knocking them out. (6 down, four to go.) As she did, another would come up from behind her and slice at her, from behind, at a speed of 40 and a sharpness of 50. Coming from behind, she almost didn’t notice the man was about to attack until the last second. Hikari did notice that the attack came up from behind her and would dodge by ducking under the man, this time, at a speed of 125, and would continue to preform a combo on the man. Turning around and ducking under the strike, she would come up and preform a left upper cut, followed by a right hook, right low kick, Right hook, left mid kick, she would then take a left step before stepping to the right and preforming a right straight. right high kick, left straight, right hook, right low kick, Right hook, left mid kick, step back, right hook, left straight, push kick, right hook, left straight, push kick, right straight, right high kick, and to wrap it up she would step in and preform a right upper cut, left hook, right straight, left mid kick, right high kick, left straight, right hook, right low kick, right hook, right high kick, left straight, right hook, right low kick, Right hook, left mid kick step back, right hook, left straight, push kick, right hook, left straight, push kick, right straight, right high kick. push kick, right straight left straight, right hook, right low kick, Right hook, left mid kick, step back, right hook, left straight, push kick, right hook, left straight, push kick, right straight, right high kick, the last kick droping the man. (7 down 3 more left.)

Hikari would look at the final three, two of the men would try to run past her, cutting her as they did. This time they would cut at a speed of 35 and at a sharpness of 100. Hikari would jump over the blades, and would land behind them. She would then turn around and would grab one and pull him back away to separate the two of them. The maiden would then take out the one she grabbed before. She would start with a right hook, and follow it up with a left hook, step in, right upper cut, let upper cut, step back, right straight, left straight, right low kick, left high kick, right straight, left straight, left straight, right straight, left straight, push kick, right hook, left hook, right straight, left mid kick, right high kick, left straight, right hook, right low kick, Right hook, left mid kick step back, right hook, left straight, push kick, right straight, right high kick, left straight, right hook duck to the left, right high kick, step to the side, right low kick, Right hook, left mid kick step back, right hook, left straight, push kick, right straight, right high kick, step into a right upper cut, making him fly up and fall down in his back, once again out cold. (8 down, 2 to go)

Hikari would turn and see at this point the other man coming at her with his blade over his head, about to try to cut Hikari in half vertically. She would freak out and try a low kick, but this time, from low to up, hitting him right in the family jewls. He would drop his blade and his eyes would roll to the back of his head. Hikari would cover her mouth, feeling horrible, for a second, and the man would drop to his knees. Hikari would look down, feel bad but remember that he was still an enemy. Hikari would walk over to him, more to put him out of his misery, and would hit him while he was down with a right hook, a left hook, and then an uppercut. The man would fall down, out cold (9 down, 1 to go.)

The man would look at Hikari and feel absolute horror, and would try to pull out his scimitar and come at Namikaze with a speed of 50 and a sharpness of 100. Hikari duck under it and deliver a left straight to his grip, making him drop the blade, and then start to combo agains the man. She would deliver a right low kick, Right hook, left mid kick step back, right hook, left straight, push kick, right straight, he would then wobble and try to counter Hikari with a right hook, which Hikari would doge under and she would return the strike with a left counter. The man would back up, holding his face and Hikari would continue, right high kick, left straight, right hook duck to the left, right high kick, step to the side, right hook, left hook, right straight, Hikari would then step in, preform a right upper cut, then a left upper cut, and would step back. She would continue with her combo, starting with a right straight, then follow it up with a left straight, right low kick, left high kick, right straight, left straight, left straight, right straight, left straight, push kick, right hook, left hook, right straight, left mid kick, right high kick, left straight, right hook, right low kick, Right hook, left mid kick step back, right hook, left straight, push kick, right straight, right high kick, left straight, and a right hook to knock him off his feet. The man would stumble down, droping to the ground, out cold, all hostiles had been eliminated at this point.
Smiling, the young girl would go down and one by one tie up the men that she had knocked out. Making sure they were nice and tight before going to the tied up merchants and starting to untie them.

As they were allowed up, one of them, who appeared to be the leader of the group, would smile at Hikari and say, “Thank you so much for helping us! We are in your debt my lady,”
Hikari would smile and return the comment with a, Glad I can help, now please, make sure you get to Hoshi safely, also, if you could take these guys with you and hand them over to the Queen’s men, that would be wonderful!”

The men would feel scared to react asking, “What if they wake up while we are still out on the road? What will we do then?”
Hikari would biter her lip, she didn’t want to just let the people leave on their own, but at the same time, she didn’t want to give up on her training. After thinking for a minute, she would decided to go with the caravan back to the city (OOC. Sorry, I was planning for Hikari to go to the forest and to train, but seeing this situation, I think Hikari would return to the village with the group)
Namikaze would respond with a “Sure! I Would love to return to the village with you! I think that you will be fine, but it would be unfair to make you take these guys back by yourselves. Also, Although Hoshi is a lot safer than it was 2 years ago when it comes to bandits, there is still the possibility that these guys aren’t alone out here and there might be more guys out here. As such, it would be the safest if I came with you and escorted you back to the village tonight.”
With that, Hikari would transport the merchants back to the village. After about an hour and a half of travel, the group would return to the village hidden in the stars and would turn the bandit’s over to the queens men. Hikari would help escort the bandits to the prison and would then would be free to go. She would smile and return to her apartment, it was a little bit too late in the day to go out and train. So she figured she would just go back to her apartment and read some more. With that, she would head back and call it a night.
