Senshi nodded approvingly at the boy as he teamed up with another class mate and began working with him. While he had initially gotten a very poor first impression of the soon to be Genin, this was a good boost in Senshi’s mind for the other boy. After handing out the sticks and explaining Kenjutsu spanking to the students he moved through the classroom ensuring that they were being safe in how they practiced. Akihana-sama would never forgive him if he allowed some academy students to be seriously hurt just because he wasn’t at the top of his game. He wouldn’t do anything that would make him look bad.
Other than some foolish waving of the sticks most of the students were behaving fairly well and Senshi did not see the need to correct most of their terrible stances. Due to the improving perception that he had of Mugen he stopped near him and reached out catching the stick before it could strike his opponent. No wince or any facial expression gave away the fact that he had just been struck by the stick. In fact as he released his hand from catching it the top half of the stick would land on the ground having been broken by his grip.
Ignoring the fact that Mugen would now be working with a shorter stick he reached out and adjusted the boys hand moving them slightly and changing his grip. After he did that he reached back pulling the large blade off his back in one fell swoop and demonstrated the proper way to hold the stick for him. “As a weaponry specialist I am uniquely suited to assist you here, this is how you hold the blade properly. Take note of my feet and the slight bend in my knees as well giving me a good sturdy stance. This is exceptionally important. Other than that you are doing incredibly well.”
With those words Senshi turned and sheathed the large blade before resuming assisting the other students. He couldn’t show favoritism but in his opinion if Mugen continued to progress as he was he would be ready for the Genin exams very soon. After another sixty minutes of practice he went down to the podium and called for everyones attention. “All right last class before we break for lunch, it should be short and simple. A basic Taijutusu move to assist all of you. It is called Taijutsu discipline and it is merely a chakra enhanced smack to an opponents body. Keep your training partner for this one. Here is your demonstration.” With that Senshi faced the podium and deciding that he wouldn’t get in too much trouble he stepped forwards and with a slow movement of his hand so the student could follow smacked the podium with an open palm. It immediately shattered under his strength.

Mugen and Tsuyoi where still going back and fourth. They had fought with the sticks 12 times now. Mugen had won 8 times and Tsuyoi 4 times. As they began again Senshi Sensei grabbed Mugens stick stopping his attack completely. Mugen was shocked as Sensei's facial expression didn't hint a sign of any pain or disturbance. Then Mugen felt that same aura of intensity in the air. Senshi let go of the stick but the front end of Mugens stick fell to the floor. Mugen was shocked and wondered how strong is Senshi?
Then Senshi showed him a more fitting stance and re-adjusted his grip on his now shortened stick. Mugen and Tsuyoi started again. But this time Mugen was in full control of the battle. Even with Tsuyoi being stronger and faster, Mugen was able to fend off his attacks with ease. Mugen was able to control his swings and attacks much better. Mugen beat Tsuyoi 3 times in a row with swift barrages and counters. Tsuyoi told Mugen "its like your on a whole other level now and i can't keep up any more". Mugen thought to himself "this stance helps me move around more with his knees bent it increased my acceleration and balances me completely". Mugen told Tsuyoi to go again so he could fully adjust to this stance. Tsuyoi replied saying "sure but i won't loose this time".
Mugen beat Tsuyoi 4 more times before Senshi started with the next training assessment. Senshi described the next Technique they would learn. Taijutsue discipline, where one focuses chakra in ones hand and strikes their opponent. Then Senshi demonstrated it on the podium. Everyone in the class was astonished. The podium completely shattered. Mugen had a clear estimate of exactly how much stronger Senshi was than him now. Mugen started to focus on putting his chakra to his hands. This was rather simple just as when you put chakra in your hands for hand signs. Mugen told Tsuyoi to begin when he was ready. Tsuyoi attacked with with a fury of straight forward thrusts one arm after another. Mugen simply dodged the attacks until he saw a opening. Mugen leaned to his right dodging Tsuyoi's left palm.
At that moment Mugen back handed Tsuyoi's arm with his left hand sending it across Tsuyois chest. Mugen stepped forward infant of Tsuyoi. Tsuyoi Then swung his left arm at Mugen but Mugen ducked and blocked Tsuyoi's right hand strike with his left hand. Then Mugen thrusted his palm into Tsuyoi's gut. Tsuyoi dropped to the ground holding his stomach. Tsuyoi got up and shook it off. Mugen let Tsuyoi start again. Tsuyoi instead of rushing in attacked more cautiously. Mugen had noticed it and knew Tsuyoi would block any attacks he threw at him. So instead of waiting for Tsuyoi's next strike Mugen jumped forward and thrusted his arm towards Tsuyoi's chest. Tsuyoi blocked with his arms crossed. Mugen weaved his right arm down under Tsuyoi's arms and swung it upwards smacking Tsuyoi's arms into the air.
Mugen then thrusted his left palm into Tsuyoi's chest. Tsuyoi flew back 3 feet and fell on his back. Tsuyoi laid there for a minute and then got up and dusted himself off. Tsuyoi told Mugen "you surprise me every time".Mugen told Tsuyoi "you as well, i noticed as i was attacking with my left hand you where bringing both of your arms down really quickly". Tsuyoi said "oh yea, but unfortunately i was fast enough". Mugen said " actually your reaction speed was spot on had i been any slower and it would've been a downfall for me". Tsuyoi and Mugen started again. Mugen won 4 more times only loosing twice to Tsuyoi. Mugen and Tsuyoi decided to rest it out. Mugen could tell that Tsuyoi was completely worn out because in the last match Mugen could strike straight threw Tsuyoi's guard. Mugen and Tsuyoi sat and talked about their last 4 matches and the different ways they surprised each other.

((OOC: I only have four more techs for this thread that I think are worthwhile, Rope Escape, Surface Walking, Medical Ninjutsu, and Genjutsu Release. You'll prolly be the strongest Academy Student ever after we finish this))
After demonstrating the technique, Senshi would continue to walk around the class giving tips. This technique was so simple though that he did not really have to assist anyone. Especially after performing the more difficult Kenjutsu Spanking. Each of the students had been through Taijutsu training so it was simple for them to grasp the concept behind the Taijutsu Discipline move, while their training in weaponry seemed to be severely lacking. Noticing the time the boy genin headed back to the smashed podium briefly hoping that he would not have to pay for the damages. Shrugging the thought off he cleared his throat garnering the attention of the students. It didn’t take long before the entire class was again focused on their temporary instructor, complete silence permeated the room.
“It is time to break for lunch, you will have one hour. At thirteen hundred all of you will meet out on the Academy training grounds. The rest of our days training will take place out there. You are welcome to utilize the class room during lunch or continue training. I will be on the training grounds if anyone would like extra assistance during the lunch hour. Dismissed for now Class.” Senshi turned then exiting the classroom and heading towards the farthest reaches of the training grounds near a tree line. This would be a more beneficial training area for the students considering that it would expose them to the bitter, barren cold as well.
Reaching into his pouch he pulled out a sealing scroll and unsealed his lunch. A simple fare of rice, salmon, and asparagus. Though simple there were four containers of the food since he required a lot of calories to keep up his musculature, not to mention he burned more when he was out in the cold as well. He remained standing as he began to eat his lunch at a leisurely pace planning our the remaining training he would conduct with the class. He wanted them to be prepared for life outside of the academy and thus he would be harder on them then he had been on any other students he had training, to include the Genin he regularly worked with. He had seen how quickly death could happen even in an accident, and his village needed more competent shinobi. It was his duty as a shinobi to ensure this happened, a duty he refused to fail at.

Senshi sensai announced lunch break and instructed to meet up in the training zone. Mugen didn't have a lunch so he decided that he could just walk to the training grounds. When Mugen arrived Senshi sensai was already there eating his lunch. Mugen walked over to the open area and practiced the transformation jutsue.
Mugen decided to increase the speed he performed the jutsue even further. Mugen first channelled his chakra and weaved the hand signs. Dog, Boar and finally Ram. Mugen gathered the image of a white wolf in his mind. Then "poof' a cloud of thin smoke appears and fades away. Standing there now was a white wolf about 3 feet tall from the ground and about 4 feet from nose to tail. Mugen scanned the his paws for a few seconds then released the jutsue. Mugen again channelled his chakra into his hand signs Dog,Boar and Ram. This time Mugen pictured himself as a box. The thin smoke dispersed as soon as it had appeared. A brown box the same size as Mugens body appeared. Mugen released the jutsue.
Mugen channelled chakra into his hand signs again. This time he transformed his arm into a pole. Mugen released the jutsue again. Mugen Practiced speeding up performing the hand signs. He repeatedly did the hand signs as fast as he could for 10 minutes. Mugen stopped so he didn't cramp up his fingers. Mugen knew making the hand signs wasn't the problem. Instead he thought about how he could increase the time it took for him to channel chakra. Mugen walked over to a nearby boulder about the same size as himself.
Mugen Channelled chakra into his right hand and balled his fist up. Mugen stepped forward and punched the boulder. Mugen paused, he had under estimated the pain from punching the boulder that hard. Mugen shook his hand a little. Then he did the same thing with his left hand. Channelling chakra then punching the rock. Mugen paused again from the intense pain. After shaking his left hand off a little Mugen Repeated again channelling chakra into his right hand and punched the rocked. Then he channelled chakra into his left hand and punched the rock.
Then again with his right. The again with his left. Then again with his right. Now his hands where really hurting. Mugen kept it up punching one hand after the other. Although he wasn't punching the boulder to fast. Channelling his chakra into his fists took him 8 seconds. Mugen thought this would be a great way to increase the speed he channelled chakra. The pain motivated him to try channelling even chakra faster every time. Mugen kept punching in the same motion over and over again. Every time he punched the boulder he thought his hands would fall off his arms.
Mugen noticed his punching speed had increased and so had the pain in his knuckles. He was down to channelling chakra in 6 seconds. This progress boosted his moral a lot. Mugen set a goal to be able to channel his chakra into his fists within 4 seconds. Mugen kept punching the boulder over and over again. Mugen was sure he was gonna shatter his knuckles. Mugen knew if he let the pain get to him he wouldn't gain any progress. Mugen pushed and pushed himself. Magen's face was calm because he knew he had to stay focused. But his arms where already tired and sweating.
Mugen had entered a state of complete focus. Magen's face went dull and he looked like an empty shell. Mugen snapped back in reality because of the pain in his hands. Mugen noticed it only took him 2 seconds to channel his chakra into his fists. Giving his last punch Mugen noticed small shards flying pass his face. Mugen stood up straight and noticed the huge dent he had dug in the boulder. Mugens hands where throbbing in pain. He stretched his fingers out as wide as possible. He heard and felt a few pops and crackles, but nothing seemed to be broken. Mugen sat down legs folded as he rubbed his knuckles.
Mugen fell back and stretched his body out. Despite the pain still in his hands, Mugen felt satisfied with himself for completing all of the challenges he made for himself. Mugen yelled over to Senshi "Hey did you see that"? but he was still looking at the boulder.

Senshi watched as Mugen came out to continue practicing instead of eating lunch. He debated telling the academy student that it would be wiser to eat lunch and rest after the strenuous training they had been going through but decided not to. It would be better for the boy to learn on his own that proper rest and food was required to become a strong shinobi. He would undoubtedly learn that this afternoon with the harsh schedule that Senshi was keeping to. Honestly he didn’t expect the students to learnt he techniques in one day, he just wanted them to become familiar with them so that they could practice on their own.
Kumo would become stronger if these kids learned to train on their own and further themselves faster that way, rather then taking the slow pace that the academy offered. He was, he had to admit, rather surprised by the talent and skill Mugen had been showing through out the day. With a bit more seasoning he would become a strong and capable Genin for the village in a rather short time. As it was Senshi would be recommending to him that he take the Genin exam soon so that he could have access to higher level techniques and become even stronger, faster than he was right now. Pushing those thoughts off Senshi packed up his lunch as the rest of the class approached and gathered around him.
“All right, we are going to do two techniques at once right now. The first half of the class,” Senshi pointed at those that were included in this category, Mugen would be part of the first half, “Will be practicing the Surface walking technique. This is a skill that will allow you to stick to a surface and climb it.” As Senshi spoke he walked backwards, channeling chakra to his feet he climbed the tree, nonchanlantly continuing to speak even as he was hanging upside down. “You must simply channel chakra to your feet in order to climb the tree. Too much and you will crack the surface of the tree, too little and you won’t stick at all.” Senshi released the chakra to his feet twisting in the air and landing nimbly on his feet.
“The second half of the class will each come up to me to practice the Genjutsu release technique. I will cast a Genjutsu on you, and then you will dispel it. When I say switch you will switch and begin to practice the other technique. Begin practicing, Group two line up in front of me.” Senshi waited and watched as the students set about his task before he began casting the leaf style willow technique on the students. Each student received a personalized lecture on how to best cast the technique before he did so. After thirty minutes, Senshi had finally made it through group two. He rose his right hand to direct the attention of the group to him before speaking.
“All right Switch, Group one line up in front of me.” Senshi waited as the students switched around before beginning to run the group through the technique. When Mugen was finally up Senshi eyed him favorably for a second before speaking. “All right so the Genjutsu Release technique is rather simple. There are two ways to utilize it. The first is to momentarily stop the flow of your chakra, and the second is the release a small burst of chakra to interrupt the Genjutsu. The hardest part of this is actually recognizing that you are in a Genjutsu. I will now place a genjutsu on you, known as the Leaf Style Willow. It will make you think that there is more than one of my weapon, when you see it use the Genjutsu release technique and tell me when you’ve achieved dispelling it.” Senshi then pulled his tanto out and charged his chakra into it, slowly three images of the chakra would appear before Mugen. Senshi would continue to fuel the technique until the student told him that he had succeeded.

Mugen stood in front of a tree thinking about how Senshi performed the surface walking technique. Mugen looked around at the other students. A lot of them where taking it slowly only putting one foot on the tree trying to get it to stick, while others chose to have a running start. Mugen knew that this would be harder to learn than the chakra enhancement he put into his fists. The fact that it requires precise chackra control is the tricky part.
Mugen knew he couldnt put too much chakra into his feet or the surface of the tree will crack apart. But if Mugen doesn't put enough chakra into his feet he won't be able to hold himself on the tree. Mugen also knew just putting chakra into his feet would just be like enhancing his feet and that wasn't the aim for this technique. There was also the fact that he would have to maintain his chakra levels for a long period of time. All the current training he has been doing was short bursts of chakra. Mugen knew chakra control must be second nature for a ninjas survival and to perform jutsues. Then the physical training is your ability to hold your self up.
After fully thinking out the jutsue Mugen focused chakra into the palm of his right hand. Mugen placed his hand on the tree and increased the amount of chakra as slowly as he could. A little while passed then he heard a crackle and the tree bark bursted. Now Mugen had a good estimate of how much chakra he is allowed to focus before the tree bursted. Mugen focused chakra into his right hand again and placed it on the tree. Again he increased the chakra trying to focus it just below the amount needed before the tree bark would burst again. But he wasn't able maintain that amount of chakra and the tree bark bursted again. Mugen tried it again Focusing his chakra and placing his hand on the tree. Mugen increased his chakra very slowly this time trying to pinpoint the exact amount of chakra he could focus until the tree bark bursted again.
When the tree bark bursted Mugen had an even better measurement of how much chakra he could focus into the technique. Mugen charged his chakra into the palm of his hand once again and increased the amount of chakra very slowly. Mugen reached the limit cap and focused holding it at that point. After he focused his chakra for 3 minutes straights he stopped. Now Mugen had a complete understanding of how to measure and hold his chakra.
Mugen looked at the other students they where already getting 6 or seven steps up the trees. Mugen took 5 steps back from the tree in front of him. Mugen focused his chackra into the palms of his feet very slowly until he reached the limit cap. Mugen ran to the tree, with a running start he started running up the tree. Mugen got 7 steps up the tree before the tree bark bursted under his feet and he was pushed back. Mugen flipped backwards and landed on his feet sliding back. Mugen thought to himself this was a good start start.
Mugen realized it was harder to focus on chakra control while also running up the tree. Mugen positioned himself 5 steps away from the tree again. Mugen knew that on momentum alone anyone could take 3 steps up the tree. So in reality he only took 4 steps up the tree using the surface walking. Mugen focused his chakra into his feet until he reached the chackra limit needed. Mugen focused for 5 seconds then ran to the tree. Mugen ran up the tree again this time he made it 12 steps up the tree before loosing control of his chakra and the tree bursting again sending Mugen flying back to the ground. After landing safely on his feet Mugen sat down crossed his legs and rested. Mugen looked around at the other students who where still running up the trees.
Senshi switched the groups and now Mugen would be in the group learning how to do genjutsue release. When Senshi sensai explained it it sounded simple. All Mugen would have to do is release a short burst of chakra or stop his chakra flow for a second. But Mugen had to decide which he would do. Mugen decided to try a short burst of chakra since he had already been doing a lot of chakra control training it would be easier that way .When Mugens turn came around Senshi explained exactly what would happen in the genjutsue. When Mugen saw the three blades appear he focused his chakra and pushed it out all at once. When 2 of the tanto faded away Mugen knew he had performed the technique correctly. Mugen told Senshi that he had completed the technique. Mugen walked over to a nearby tree and sat down and leaned his back on it.

Re: First day in the Academy get in where you fit in

Senshi watched as the students continued to practice, though he was busy with the students who were practicing the Genjutsu release, he did make sure to keep an eye on the other students. It was better that they learn to work out the problems of chakra control themselves however. Since it would teach them necessary problem solving abilities that they would need in their future careers as shinobi. Thus he didn’t offer any further instruction in how to properly perform the surface walking technique, nor did he share the fact that you could use it to walk on water. He wanted the students to take the time to figure that portion out on their own. Not to mention he really didn’t have the time in one day to teach them that.
By the time he had made it through the second group of students who were practicing the Genjutsu release over an hour had passed. They had just under an hour before the academy would let out for the day. Thus he would show them the most basic thing that he could so that they could practice it on their own. He ordered the students to gather back around in their groups, as they did so he pulled out a scroll. Unsealing the contents several piles of ropes appeared by his feet, just enough for one group to work with.
“All right you will stay in your groups. Group 1, you will practice the rope escape technique first so get into pairs. Group two, you will work with me first on the medical ninjutsu technique before switching to work on the rope escape technique.” He started handing out the ropes to the kids in group one as he spoke. He could see that they were already starting to split off into two man groups as well. “A quick brief on the rope escape technique, you will release chakra from where the rope is binding you, focusing on creating space so that you can eventually move your way out of them.” Keeping one rope in his hands he quickly tied it around one wrist, with a rather basic knot.
He then pushed his chakra out demonstrating the technique, showing how it loosened around his wrist until it fell limply to the ground. “This will also allow the other person in your two person teams to practice basic binding techniques for the event you have a prisoner.” Senshi then dismissed group 1 to go practice before turning to group two and having them line up in front of him the same as he did with the Genjutsu release technique. He would brief each child as they came up to him on how to correctly perform the technique, have them practice multiple times before he would give himself a shallow cut on his arm and then have the child attempt to heal it. They didn’t always succeed, though some did. It looked like the surface walking technique being taught first was helping many of them.
After a half an hour of practice he finally called out for the groups to switch and waited patiently as group 1 lined up in front of them. He repeated the same procedure, and as Mugen finally stepped up he recited the same line he had been going with the entire time. “All right the hand seals are boar, then rat, and finally snake. Practice those first.” Senshi would wait for the boy to practice the correct hand signs in the correct order several times before speaking again. “Now when you make the hand signs focus on bringing your chakra forth. Visualize a small cut in your mind, once you have that image there imagine the skin coming back together to look normal. Dot his several times.”
Senshi would again wait for the kid to go through the process, watching his hands and answering any questions he may ask. Once he felt comfortable with how the boy had been doing he began speaking again. “All right, good job. Now for the practical part.” Senshi held out his arm which had a shallowly bleeding cut that the student before Mugen had failed to heal. “Close this cut and you will receive full marks for the day.” Senshi waited patiently for Mugen to do as asked, should he successfully manage to heal the small cut Senshi would give him a nod of approval before finishing up the training with any other students in line.
Once he had done that he would speak loudly enough for all of the student to hear. “All right that’s it for the day Students. Class continues tomorrow at the normal time, meet in the class room. You are dismissed for the day, though I suggest you take some time to continue practicing. Mugen a moment please.” Senshi would wait watching as several student began to leave, before walking over towards Mugen and speaking lowly. “You did excellent today, you are clearly a cut above the rest of the students. I think you would make a decent Genin as you are. If you want, tomorrow instead of reporting to your normal classroom go to classroom 307 at eight am, there is a Genin Exam tomorrow. I believe you have the necessary skills to pass the test. Don’t be late.” Senshi would wait to see if Mugen had anything else for him before turning and leaving. He had his own training to accomplish.

After Senshi explained the rope escape jutsue Mugen paired with one of the female students. She was quite and seemed shy. Mugen allowed her to tie his hands behind his back first. Although she was rather small she tied the rope tight enough that it cut off Mugens blood circulation. Mugen focused his chakra around his hands and wrist. Slowly he released the chakra and he felt the rope easing off his wrist. When the rope finally fell off Mugen rubbed his wrists. Then he did the same with the girl and she performed it a lot better and faster than him.

Mugen and the girl started again. The girl tied Mugens wrists and ankles together. Mugen channelled his chakra into his wrists then released it in one burst. The rope slipped off wrists and fell to the ground. Then Mugen channelled his chakra into his ankles causing the ropes to fall off. Then Mugen tied the girls wrist and ankles and she got free of both ropes at the same time. She said she was done but Mugen asked her to tie him up again, so she did. Mugen tried channelling chakra into his wrist and ankles at the same time but it was tougher than he thought it would be. Mugen focused in and released his chakra in his wrists and ankles. Mugen was barely able to get both ropes off at the same time.
