Komori’s fist had hit Senshi square in the face. Like this was not just a simple cheek punch or anything really, but Senshi just straight up tanked a hit in the scarred face. In fact, his fist felt rather sore from simply hitting the chuunin, but he refused to give Senshi the satisfaction of letting it show. He then watched in silent horror as the lightning nature of his punch seemed to just course through Senshi’s body and expel itself out of his shoulder. Komori just looked at the bolt of lightning leaving as his fist was still connected to Senshi’s face. He then turned his primary focus back to the bearded boy who had a devious smile on his face. Komori was both scared and oh so very confused. He had followed the basic rules for winning a fight in an anime. He fought really hard against all odds and gotten the crap beaten out of him. Then he picked himself off the ground and wiped blood from his mouth. And then he had even started talking about friendship and whatnot. So how did he not win? That is typically the formula that allows all heroes to win. This was his chuunin exam, so in this case, Komori was the protagonist and Senshi was the antagonist. The force that he had to overcome, despite being at like twelve separate disadvantages. But this was not an anime, no matter how strikingly similar it may appear. This was life. This was his life, and life was a cruel mistress. As Senshi ducked, Komori had noticed a slight gleam on his ear. A new piercing. One that he had even been looking at just the other day but decided not to buy it. He knew exactly how Senshi had somehow become even faster than he had ever been prior to this incredibly unfair match where all of the odds were stacked against him. Hell, if he was a betting man, it would only have been logical to bet money on the six foot seven bearded behemoth that was Senshi Kobayashi.
With a reaction time of a mere 160, Komori could just barely not even be able to respond to a kick which launched him into the air. Not that it really mattered, as his hydrification technique would not work yet. He had an intuition about his kekkei genkei, not that anyone had ever disabled him so well. This was probably the hardest fight of his career as a shinobi to date, but that was mostly due to the no ninjutsu handicap. Speaking of handicaps, Komori truly felt crippled as he felt the blow to his nose and an audible crack upon being launched into the air. He barely had time to register Senshi being in the air with him before he received three consecutive blows while still in midair. He felt Senshi’s massive foot connect with his upper left arm as Senshi spun once more at a blinding speed that he could not even keep up with as he felt a sharp pain in his upper right arm as well. Komori had literally zero way to counter or even react to this without ninjutsu, especially with his advanced bloodline being paralyzed for the time being. Komori dropped to the ground with a searing pain in both of his arms as he attempted to push himself up to no avail. Broken. Shit. He was slightly peeved at Senshi for what felt like overkill, but at the same time, he was just doing his job. Komori had to take whatever these God forsaken chuunin exams would throw his way. He forced himself to lean backwards on his hind legs and stand up without the aid of his arms, as he barely moved them at all. They were directed inward, but could not be held into fists without experiencing a great amount of pain. An amount of pain that Komori was willing to bear. Komori breathed deeply as he stared down his opponent once more, with arms that were now swelling up and turning purple beneath his shirt and blood beginning to drip from his injured nose. “Is… Is that all you’ve got?” Komori was trying to be clever, but it is hard to sound clever while bleeding and having just gotten your ass kicked. He would then stand there as Senshi responded, whether in force or calling off the exam, as it would be clear that Komori would not be able to do much anymore. Or could he?

Maybe that had been overkill. Meh, it’d be all right nothing the magical healing powers that were known as chakra couldn’t fix. The bearded man watched as Komori struggled to his ffet and decided to not punch him with Taijutsu: Aerial Strip. Mainly because as soon as Komori started to speak he was drowned out by the speak crackling on. Which was probably good since Senshi would have been honor bound to show Komori just what he had left to give in his tank of incredible stamina. Something that Komori probably wouldn’t want to deal with. Considering it would likely end in his untimely demise and Kumo would be down a very talented Genin and prospective Chuunin. And Aki would probably be really made at him.
Yea Not Worth it. Still the speaker that saved the day spoke up, “That’s enough, we have gathered enough data on this candidate. A medic will be entering shortly while we tally the results. Chuunin Kobayashi you may leave if you wish. Genin Hozuki, stay until you are healed and the results are announced.” Senshi gave a blank nod towards the speaker as the door suddenly lit up and the lock sounded as it slid. The annoying sound of grating metal on metal. Well the sound of wondorous paradise to the weapons specialist. Senshi watched as the medic approached Komori before kneeling down and asking for permission to heal the boys broken arms.
Senshi walked over, and watched the healing process intently wondering if he could learn anything from it. Once the medic had finished he stood and left and Senshi offered a hand to Komori to help him up. Regardless if he should take it, once Komori was standing Senshi would move at a speed of 125 and a strength of 30 and clap Komori on the back in what he saw as a friendly gesture. “That was a decent fight, if you had been able to use your Ninjutsu I think we would have been evenly matched. I look forwards to sparring with you again, if it were up to me I’d give you a passing grade. If you don’t mind I’ll wait with you to hear your results?” IF Komori agreed Senshi would wait patiently by his side, should he refuse he would nod in acceptance and leave.

Upon hearing that the match was over, the Hozuki boy dropped down to the ground. He had finally began to experience the calmness of his basic water nature flooding his veins, a sign that hydrification would have been effective once more. However, he did not need to use it. Instead he sat on his knees looking relieved as the medic came by and treated his injuries as well as wiping away the blood. The newly healed Komori took Senshi’s hand to be pulled up and was rather surprised at the clap that Senshi gave him. Not that it hurt, although it mildly did, but rather that Senshi had done it. Instead of questioning, however, Komori just smiled at him. His injuries, however unnecessary as they were, were already healed, so the two had no quarrel. If anything, he felt as though the two had more respect for the other, and believed this even further upon hearing that Senshi believed they would have been more equal if Komori had been allowed to use his speciality. Komori had no problem with Senshi awaiting him by his side, “Of course, you can stay with me. You were as involved in this as I was, so it’s only fair that you should witness the fruits of your labor and all.” He smiled at the chuunin. The two would then eagerly await for the announcement from the speakers. Or at least Komori would eagerly wait, as eager as he could be with two newly healed but still sore nose and arms while Senshi would be doing Senshi things while waiting.
