Wherever the Wind Blows (Senshi, NK)
Thu Feb 23, 2017 7:24 pm
Kon had awoken far earlier than normal to be on time to his new post. He had been instructed by his most recent proctor to meet him in the training grounds early to begin a more difficult regimen of training so as to further his studies and capabilities as a ninja. As he sleepily plodded into training ground three he struggled to keep his eyes open. As exciting as he may have been the day before when he got his headband, which was now tied around his right thigh, he was not so eager to have left the comfort of his mattress this morning. A cold northern wind rolled through the training grounds that morning and Kon had almost forgotten to grab his coat on his way out the door. The lack of sunlight this early in the morning didn't help the frequent cold chills from creeping down Konjaku's spine. His hair swooped southward across the right of his face with the chilling gust of wind. Stifling back a yawn, Kon arrived at the training grounds just short of late. Grinning sleepily upon the arrival of his new teacher. "Hope you brought a notepad." He would say remembering the conversation they had just the day before.

Re: Wherever the Wind Blows (Senshi, NK)

Time to knock out some training before his new student arrived. It seemed that the higher ups had noted that Senshi had taken an interest, which was so not the case, in the annoying prankster that went by the name of Meijan Konjaku. Senshi did not take an interst in the little prankster, but instead had wanted to correct his behavior. But no the higher ups took his offer to have the boy on the training grounds to mean that he wanted him on his Genin team. So now Senshi had finally been given the orders that detailed who was on his Genin team. Two meijans and his own personal apprentice Sora.
He still wasn’t sure how he had ended up with an apprentice and a team, but whatever he would deal with it. Things just seemed to always be happening around him. With all this in mind Senshi had arrived at the training grounds several hours early in order to train on his own before he met with Konjaku and subsequently the rest of what was going to become known as Team Orange. Which would become the second greatest team in all of Kumogakure after Senshi’s own Genin squad under Jounin Itami, Team Red. Nothing would ever beat Team Red or what they had done together.
Well that was probably a stretch, there were a lot of things that could beat their record, but really how many Genin teams got to fight an S class missing ninja of Maku’s level and standing? Not many that’s what. And they had all survived the fight, despite the mental and physical scars that they had walked away with from it. Not that Senshi minded the large scar across his face, he was convinced that it gave him character and a better standing when he dealt with any other Shinobi. It showed that he was battle hardened, ready to handle anything that came his way. Or so he saw it that way, he couldn’t speak for what others thought after all. He wasn’t Komon who could read minds with his fancy ninjutsu after all.
Still his thought process had diagressed, he was her to train in the Great Breakthrough technique before he met up with Konjaku Meijan, the purple haired menace of the academy. And so he would, no point in appearing weak before his team of Genin. He would need to forge them into a strong team. A team that could stand without him, since his goal was to turn them all into strong and capable Chuunin of Kumogakure as fast as possible. The village needed stronger shinobi and it was Senshi’s job to turn out those shinobi as best as he could.
At least that was the impression that he had received from the higher ups when he had been given the orders from the teams. Senshi reviewed what he knew of the Great break through technique, it required quite a bit of hand seals. First was Tiger, than Ox, Dog, Rabbit, and finally ending on snake. Unfortunately it wasn’t like most of the techniques that he knew with the wind element. Where ease he normally focused on making a sharp blade of wind and then attacking something this one did not follow that. Now he needed to focus on creating the Gust, much like the blasts of Air he could already use.
This technique was going to be especially useful to him since Sora was a natural fire type user, and from the files he had received on his other two Genin he knew that Meijan Niran was also a fire type user. Senshi would be able to increase the power of both of his fire type Genin by a significant amount with this technique. If both Genin’s learned to fire C rank or higher ninjutsu fire techniques then Senshi could use this or another Wind technique to increase its power. Interestingly enough, Konjaku’s file had noted that he was a wind user as well.
This meant that Senshi would be able to pass on all the techniques he knew that dealt with wind to the boy. This was good and bad since he didn’t particularly like Konjaku Meijan as of yet, but it was his job to ensure the Genin was strong and prepared for the future. Especially since Senshi intended to train him to become a Chuunin eventually. That meant the oldest member of Team Orange was going to receive a very rude wake up call, where he would now need to mature up to Senshi’s standards or else Senshi might accidentally end up killing him in a random fit of rage.
Just kidding. Maybe. Senshi focused back in at the task at hand and sowly formed the hand seals several times over and over again increasing the speed with each go round. He wanted to build the muscle memory required to learnt he technique before he attempted it. Nothing would be quite so annoying as to rush it and then accidentally form the wrong hand seals and have the technique blow up in his face. He was a Chuunin, that meant he needed to always be on his game and make a good impression with anyone that he encountered. Nothing else was an acceptable outcome to the overly serious teenager.
Nothing. Once Senshi had spent several minutes going over the hand seals he finally began to let his chakra flow through them. He restarted from the slow pace letting his chakra run through the hand seals and shape itself while he powered it with the wind natured elemental chakra. He however did not yet allow it to release since he was mainly focused on just letting his chakra flow and getting used to the feeling. Another several minutes of practice and it was time to finally get to the meat and potatoes of the technique. Time to unleash the power of wind on the training grounds.
Maybe blow a tree or two down. That would be interesting at least. Senshi ran through the hand seals at half his speed, feeling the chakra charge down his arms and then he unleashed it focusing on creating a burst of wind instead of the normal sharp chakra he usually unleashed. Immediately a gust of wind fifteen meters wide blew away from his body towards the trees. Unfortunately with his first attempt he was too far away from the trees to actually cause any damage to them. Still it was clear the power that this technique held, and adding it to a fire type C rank ninjutsu would certainly make things more… interesting. To say the least.
Senshi ran through the hand seals again and this time he focused on adding much, much more chakra to the technique. When he finished with the snake seal the gust of wind that blew out whipped up a small tornado of dust, cutting a crevice into the ground before crashing into the trees. The branches swayed precariously and what little leaves remained from their current cold front were whipped off the branches violently and sent tumbling through the air. Unfortunately Senshi no longer had any more time to continue practicing as his newest student in Kumogakure finally arrived.
Turning slightly to the boy, who had just whispered something to himself he assessed him for a several moments before finally deciding to speak up. “Good Morning, Konjaku. I have several pieces of information to share with you before we begin training.” Senshi paused watching the boy for any reaction for several moments before continuing. “The first of which is that you have been assigned to my Genin team, Team Orange. At least one of your fellow teammates will be arriving today as well for some training.” Senshi paused again, mainly to let Konjaku speak up if he so wished. Not that Senshi particularly wanted to hear what he had to say, but because all the books he had read on leadership indicated that he should let his juniors voice their thoughts.
It made them feel wanted or some such sappy thought like that. Once Konjaku had either spoken, or been given enough time to do so Senshi continued speaking. “I pulled you shinobi file, and noted that it said you were a wind type. As such until your teammate arrives I am going to work with you on your wind techniques. The first such technique is a Taijutsu wind attack known as Wind Release – Wind Strike. It uses the seals of Rat, immediately followed by Ram. Here is a quick demonstration.” Senshi then slowly formed the Rat Seal, then the ram seal. Once he had done so his right hand lit up with a light blue chakra and he punched forwards.
Again he performed this slowly and it was clear that a gust of wind came off his fist as the ground below him suddenly kicked up dirt and then a small slash appeared in the dirt a scant few feet in front of Senshi. Once he had completed his demonstration he spoke again, “The second wind technique is another D rank, and mainly useful is you know Wind Release Wind Arrow. Regardless it will assist you in learning to better handle your Wind nature. It is known as Wind Release Recurve Bow. You will form the Boar and then Ram hand signs, here is your demonstration.” Senshi lifted his hands and slowly formed the two seals before a bow of wind appeared in his hands. It was only noticeable because his sleeves billowed out from the wind and an odd shape of a bow appeared though it was mostly transparent.
He then formed one wind arrow before notching it on the bow and letting it fly at a tree watching as it sliced through two trees and embedded itself into a third. Senshi waited several seconds before letting the bow fade and turning back to his student. “Now Im going to show you another basic D rank, that will allow you to escape if an enemy is too strong for you. I won’t take you onto any missions until you can perform this technique. It is the Body Flicker technique. Simply make the ram seal, with your destination in mind then focus your chakra into your limbs and dash towards it. This will speed you up significantly.” Senshi lifted his hands and formed the ram seal then dashed forwards at a speed of 195, kicking up dirt as he moved. He stopped as he arrived at the tree line and turned back towards the Meijan.
“I am your target, try to hit me with a wind arrow, using the recurve bow technique. Then use the body flicker to close the distance and try to strike me with the Wind Release – Wind strike technique. You may begin whenever you are ready.” With those final words Senshi relaxed his arms and waited for the Genin to attack him. Intent on ensuring that this was the most productive training session that the newly promoted shinobi had ever gone through in his entire life.

Konjaku did nothing to hide his blatant drowsiness as Senshi spoke. “Yep. It’s morning.” Konjaku responded in greeting as he fought his eyelids to stay open. ‘Really creative name,’ Konjaku thought as the breeze created by Senshi’s wind strike brushed by him. “Rat, Ram, Chakra, Punch. Got it.” He said as his new teacher was completing the second demonstration. Konjaku slowly started becoming interested when Kobayashi mentioned Wind Release Recurve Bow. His eyes perked open as he focused more intently so he could see the bow of pure wind chakra. Enthralled by the jutsu, Kon easily used his imagination to fill out the transparent portions of the bow his eyes couldn’t catch.
‘That solves my distance problem.’ Konjaku thought as he remembered back to when he learned the wind arrow jutsu. He just barely was able to regain focus on Senshi’s hands in the ram seal before he shot off into the distance at a speed Konjaku couldn’t follow. Suddenly Kobayashi’s voice sounded off in the distance and Kon turned to face it. Using his body language to say, ‘Yeah, cool story, Bro’ Kon slouched his shoulders and crossed his arms while cocking his head slightly to his right. His facial expression sitting somewhere between distaste and disbelief Kon waited a moment and then decided to sit down.
The only jutsu Kon wanted to learn was the Recurve Bow; however, he immediately understood the applications of the other two jutsu. Should someone get too close, a swift punch in the nads with wind strike would be a very effective people deterrent. Should he need to increase or reduce the distance between himself and a target the body flicker jutsu would definitely make things easier. “Guess I’ll get this over with. I hope he realizes how long he’s going to be standing there.” Kon chuckled to himself before beginning his training.
Realizing he wouldn’t need a full body circulation of chakra Kon skipped his usual first step in training. He focused instead on the hand seals. Boar and then ram he signed repeatedly as he visualized a bow in his mind. Simple enough in design all it needed was a bow’s signature curve, a location in the center of that curve to be gripped, and a drawstring to be used to propel arrows. Ten minutes had passed before he felt comfortable enough to begin focusing chakra to his left hand while performing the required hand seals. He extended his hand and emitted his chakra but all he could manage was a puff of wind. Unsure of what had just happened Kon tried again only to gain a similar result.
‘Wind isn’t something you generate. It’s already here. Just use it. Koba-virgin didn’t make the wind. He channeled it. ‘ The epiphany struck Konjaku like chidori through a stationary target. “Of course, Stupid! It’s just like the wind arrow.” Konjaku mumbled hastily to himself. Konjaku attempted the jutsu once more. Boar and then ram his hands made the seals reflexively. Focusing his chakra to his left hand he emitted it at first in a cylindrical fashion. ‘Focus.’ Kon drilled himself as he shaped his chakra. First a simple rod of wind and then he created the grip at its center. Before he could allow his chakra to take the form of a bow it dissipated. “Shit!”
Again Kon focused chakra to his left hand while performing the boar and ram hand seals. First he created the rod of wind chakra. Second he crafted its grip. Thirdly he began to curve the rod into a bow’s general shape. The top of the rod curved around first. A subtle curve that Kon couldn’t make to sharp or the bow would lose elasticity when drawn. Too wide and the bow would be unnecessarily difficult to draw and would cause a significant drop in both power and accuracy. Three attempts and another fifteen minutes had passed before Kon was able to create the curve of the upper half of the recurve bow. When he had accomplished this task he grinned ever so slightly and proceeded to attempt the same with the bottom portion of the bow. This endeavor was turning out to be quite the undertaking for Kon. His newfound Genin rank only meant he had to train harder than ever before and while he was unencumbered by this certainty, he was distressed by having to get up as early as he had this morning.
As he shook the drowsiness out of his eyes he gave the bottom half of the bow a try. After figuring out how to adjust the top curve the bottom portion was much easier to master. Throwing the finishing touches on the curves he also created the notches for a drawstring before the jutsu dispelled. Kon threw his head back as he burst into maniacal laughter. Boar and then ram his hands signed. Focusing his chakra to his left hand one final time he created the full bow drawstring and all. Following it by quickly creating five wind arrows and firing those off just as quick as he could make them Kon smirked devilishly as he aimed almost completely vertical. The arrows would land at Kobayashi’s feet to create a simple curve in the form of the smirk on Kon’s face. “I’m sure you’re tired of standing there Senshi Sensei. Let’s break for breakfast! I had a couple of questions about the other two jutsu as well. Whatdya’ say?” Kon shouted to Kobayashi. If Kobayashi agreed to take a break Kon would ask if wind strike could also be applied to one’s feet in case a punch wasn’t viable given the circumstances a ninja may find him or herself in. Kon would also ask if the body flicker technique was singular in direction and whether or not it could be used in conjunction with other jutsu that might propel him even faster. Kon would also split a bento he stashed in his jacket with Kobayashi. Even despite how much he hated his mother she was an excellent cook.

Re: Wherever the Wind Blows (Senshi, NK)

While Konjaku was working through how to begin training in the ninjutsu that he had just been shown Senshi spent several seconds waiting impatiently. He wa rather used to people picking up on techniques quickly so he had not been expecting Konjaku to take that long. He was in for a rather rude surprise. After the first two minutes of waiting Senshi began to go over the next wind technique he intended to learn himself. It would boost not only his ninjutsu skills, but also his long range capabilities. Eventually he may be able to combine it with other things to make it even more lethal than it already was.
He had just learned the Breakthrough technique so the next logical step in his own training was the Kamaitachi technique. Other was known as the sick weasel technique. It only required that he use the ram seal, then with the aid of his tantos he would be able to release a blast of wind at his opponents that would hopefully cut them to pieces. It worked so similarly to the Breakthrough technique that he wasn’t entirely concerned with how difficult it would be to learn. It had the added benefit of being something that he could show the Genin in front of him, considering he was not only a Meijin but also a wind user.
Techniques like this would be invaluable in the boys hands, well young man considering how old he was. Senshi could easily see why the purple haired boy had taken so long to become a Genin. Senshi began paying attention again as his finely tuned instincts alerted him to incoming danger. Not that it was entirely dangerous, instead just being a single arrow that landed several feet in front of him. It seemed that Konjaku had finally gotten the easy D rank Recurve Bow wind technique down. Senshi expected him to immediately begin practice on the next technique but instead the boy asked for a meal break.
Shrugging in compliance Senshi formed the ram seal dashing forwards at a speed of 170 to stop in a slide next to the Genin. He would politely decline the offer of food, as he had already eaten before focusing on how best to respond to the Genin’s questions. “Wind Strike could easily be applied to the feet if you trained with it enough. Unfortunately the Body Flicker only allows you to move in a straight line, but if you have particularly potent chakra it will allow you to move much faster than you are normally capable of.” Whenever Konjaku was ready to begin again Senshi would stand with him and wait for the boy to attempt to Body Flicker or use the wind strike against him.

Re: Wherever the Wind Blows (Senshi, NK)

Konjaku was disappointed that Kobayashi turned down his offer of food but didn’t let himself show it as he scarfed down the meal. He listened intently as Senshi answered his questions. He expressed a light smile when he was told that the wind strike jutsu could also be applied to his feet. That smile became a look of bored contemplation when he learned that the body flicker jutsu was a singular directional technique. However, was intrigued by the mention of its capability to be coupled with chakra to possibly increase its speed boost exponentially. His only responses were head nods in between large bites of his treasured meal. Once his meal was finished he patted his chest with his closed fist to help the hardly chewed food ease its way down his esophagus.
With an unintentionally loud belch, Kon began his training anew. He focused his chakra to his legs instead of his fists as he began attempting wind strike. “Rat. Ram. Chakra. Strike.” Kon chanted as he attempted the jutsu without his usual routine of hand seal memorization, chakra flow utilization, and then performing the jutsu. His first attempt was a dud. While he had managed to perform everything accurately he wasn’t quite perfect with the emission of his chakra during the strike. He had attempted to perform a simple side kick. Stepping forward with his left foot he drew his right knee upward and struck the air with the heel of his right foot before returning to a ready stance.
Konjaku felt the waste of chakra as it dissipated throughout his right leg. What Senshi had performed was more of an expulsion of chakra from a gathered point not just a sudden rush of chakra. Realizing this, Kon relaxed and removed himself from a ready stance and placed himself into a horse stance. Not thinking anything of the awkwardness of this practice he paid no mind the odd or confused look Senshi may or may not have given him. He began chanting again as he practiced the hand seals and then a simple punch without infusing his chakra. He continued this practice for about five minutes before once again returning to a ready stance. Placing his left foot behind him and his right foot in front of him making sure they were equidistant from the center of his body.
He began his chant all over again. “Rat. Ram. Chakra. Strike!” As he chanted he performed each action individually. First, the Rat seal followed by the Ram seal. Pausing when he chanted chakra to symbolize the focus of his chakra into a single point he imagined his wind elemental chakra would rotate around the particular limb he was striking with. When he chanted strike he would strike while envisioning the chakra he swirled around his foot or fist would spiral outward creating a concussive force in the form of a small gust of wind. Feeling comfortable using both his fist and his foot Kon decided to combine his chakra into his process. Seeing as he was already in the ready stance to kick he began the chant as usual, “Rat. Ram. Chakra-“ Kon began as he performed the Rat and Ram hand seals while simultaneously focusing his wind chakra to swirl around the base of his right foot. “Strike!” He shouted as he kicked with all his might releasing his chakra outward as he had previously envisioned. When dust and small debris picked up in a gust of wind Kon brought his leg down and almost shouted for joy. HE quickly shot into a horse stance and repeated his process. While somewhat goofy he was also able to perform the wind strike with his fists. Elated Kon literally jumped for joy. “Sweet!” He exclaimed as he jumped a few more times.
“Ahem” he pretended to clear his throat as he got back to practicing. Body flicker was the last jutsu he had been shown and the last jutsu he had to learn. It was more or less a chakra infused dash in one direction. Although theoretically simple, Kon knew it was going to be his most difficult jutsu to learn yet. “With a location in mind focus your chakra into your legs and dash.” Kon repeated several times as if not convinced by how simple the jutsu actually was. Konjaku focused his chakra to his legs and allowed himself to grasp the way his legs felt both with and without chakra rushing through them. There was a noticeable difference. His legs with chakra felt somewhat lighter and yet sturdier. More capable of moving and yet less capable of feeling typical fatigue as quickly as they might without. Instead of performing the hand seal and attempting the jutsu he used his chakra to in a way reinvigorate his muscles as he began to jog in the direction of the tree line.
He steadily increased his pace from a jog to a trot and then to a sprint. Feeling the wind race through his hair as he got faster and faster he grinned to himself. By no means was he as fast as he would have been had he used the jutsu, but he imagined he was traveling faster than he would normally. Whether or not he was right may or may not have been a placebo effect but Kon enjoyed it all the same. He probably looked awfully stupid to his instructor right now but Kon had his own way of learning jutsu. He had to experience them with his very being if the jutsu were self-inflicted. He had to understand them down to their very core. Not so much for mastery but more so for curiosity’s sake.
Some people could pick a jutsu up after only seeing it once and spend more than half of their time studying theoretical properties and applications of the jutsu. Kon wasn’t one such person. While he may have been able to see a jutsu once and remember that jutsu he had to practice it in pieces. Break it down so that he could understand the details that made it the whole picture. The devil is in the details as they say, and Kon was well aware that the smallest of details missed could be fatal. After all look where his siblings had ended up after missing the constant and not so subtle queues that his mother wasn’t going to let them leave her without a fight. They lost that fight. Kon wasn’t about to let their fate be shared by the whole of his family. Konjaku was much smarter than that anyhow.
As Kon grew accustomed to how it felt to pursue speed with chakra flowing throw his limbs he decided it was time to actually practice the jutsu. By now he had gotten a good ten meters away from Kobayashi sensei and just assumed that this was a reasonable distance for the jutsu to be performed safely. He began to circulate chakra through his legs and with a Ram seal he attempted to dash forward but realized quickly he wasn’t moving any faster than he had while he was just running around like a child enjoying the summer day.
“Another bump in the road,” Konjaku chuckled to himself. What Konjaku failed to realize was that he had to lighten the whole of his body with chakra not just his legs. He immediately lied down and stared at the sky as he began contemplating where he may have made his miscalculation. “With a location in mind focus your chakra into your legs and dash.” Kon repeated. He whimsically followed the clouds with his eyes as he tried to remember what exactly it was that Senshi sensei had said. “...Simply make the ram seal, with your destination in mind, then focus your chakra into your limbs and dash towards it. This will speed you up significantly.” Kon replayed what Senshi had said in his head and thought he had done just that. ‘I did that, though.’ Konjaku thought to himself. As he thought more carefully he realized that Senshi was specific in the usage of the word limbs and not just legs. Kon shot up as he realized what his new teacher had possibly meant. Kon began to circulate chakra throughout the whole of his body and performed the ram seal. He envisioned himself 5 meters behind Senshi and lunged forward. He felt his body lighten and the next thing he knew he was watching the ground almost leave him behind. When he finally came to a stop he was unable to adjust for the sudden decrease in speed and face planted heavily a good 15 meters behind Kobayashi. He spent another twenty minutes practicing the jutsu so he could adjust for distance and fluctuations in speed. Once he finally mastered the usage of the jutsu he waved at Kobayashi from ten meters westward of his teacher.
“Do I still have to try and hit you?” He shouted ‘That would really suck.’ Kon thought to himself. Performing the jutsu one last time he rushed to Kobayashi’s side. With no intention of striking his teacher Kon halted just short of the man’s unnecessarily large sword handle. Without listening to whether or not his teacher had answered his question Kon spoke again, “I’d really rather not try to fight you yet. You know, kitten versus tiger and all that. I’d love to learn any more jutsu you could teach me, though. That would be a lot more helpful than suffering embarrassment at the hands of a virgin. Hey, did you bring that notepad?” Kon asked devilishly

Re: Wherever the Wind Blows (Senshi, NK)

Senshi watched as Konjaku began working on the wind strike, though he found his method of going about it odd he gave no hint of this. While it might be odd to him, he recognized that everyone learned in different ways. If Konjaku learned this way best then who was he to judge? Everyone had their own method and Senshi, after all the time and energy he had put into training so many people, recognized this and allowed his students to do as they wished. He may occasionally offer more insight or advice to assist a student but in the end he always left it up to them to decide how they wanted to go about things. Instead while Konjaku worked on his training, Senshi would use this time to further his own abilities.
If he had the opportunity then he was not going to waste it. Just standing here doing nothing and watching as Konjaku trained would be lazy of Senshi and one of the few things he couldn’t abide at all, was lazy people. It would do for Konjaku to see Senshi training as well, so that it would cement in the older boys mind that he didn’t just expect someone to train hard. He expected himself to do the same. Senshi had once read that others were more likely to work hard, when you showed that you yourself did the same. Holding himself to the same standards as the ones he expected of his fellows only made it more likely that they wouldn’t get irritated with him over it.
Especially since he had rather hard and exacting standards that he held everyone too. Senshi ran through the hand seals for the Kamaitachi several times before he began to practice sending his chakra out to form the lethal blades of wind. It didn’t take long before gashes were appearing in the trees he was aiming at. Finally he turned looking at Konjaku as he smashed into the ground tripping over. Blinking in confusion at his students clumsiness he noted that the Genin was at least getting the technique down well enough that they could move on.
“Good job, I think we can progress from here. You’ve been using a lot of chakra so we will take a break from chakra techniques and focus on some taijutsu.” Senshi paused motioning for Konjaku to walk with him towards several straw dummies that were in the corner of the training field they currently occupied. As they walked Senshi would continue speaking, “Even if you do not intend to specialize in Taijutsu having a basic understanding of it is necessary for any shinobi. Thus I will give you a basic grounding in it with some D rank techniques. I want you to be able to defend yourself should a shinobi get in close range with you and prevent you from using Ninjutsu.”
As Senshi finished speaking they arrived at the straw dummies. Pulling a scroll off his belt, Senshi would perform several hand signs before unsealing the scroll. Just as the water began to spill out of the scroll he pushed his chakra out and two water clones formed in front of him. “The first technique that I will show you is an E rank technique known as the Inside to Outside block. Watch carefully so you can see how it works.” Senshi then motioned to his shadow clones, Clone A would move towards Clone B and clearly moving slowly so that the Genin could follow would aim a punch at Clone B.
Clone B would then raise an arm in a circular movement and push on the attacing clones arm to redirect the hit. They would do this several times, moving extremely slow so that Kon could follow along. Senshi finally nodded after three minutes of the clones demonstrating the technique. “All right, now it’s your turn. My clone will move to strike you, all you need to do is mimic what they just showed you. After that we will move onto the next technique, a D rank technique known as Aerial Strip.” Senshi would stand back and watch as his clone moved forwards, super slow, and aimed a punch with his left fist at Kon’s right shoulder.
The clone would repeat this as many times as Kon needed to practice it, only stopping once the boy said he was comfortable. Senshi would nod and then turn to his clones, motioning for them to stop. “For the Aerial Strip technique, you’ll need to enhance the muscles in your shoulders, and arm with chakra. Then strike out quickly to attack your opponent, if you strike with enough force you can knock your opponent out of their armor. I’m going to use you to demonstrate this.” Senshi then squared up in front of the boy, before he moved suddenly his fist lashing out to punch Kon square in the chest with just enough force to send him flying backwards and strip his clothing off.
His water clones, had moved just before Senshi had squared up so that they were several meters behind Kon. As Senshi struck they prepped themselves and would catch the boy, in order to prevent him from being injured by hitting the ground. Once they had caught Konjaku one of them would collect the boys clothing that had been thrown along the ground in his flight path. Offering them to Konjaku they would stand passively to the side. “You’re welcome to practice that on either the clones or the straw dummies. I created the clones to be weak enough that you will be able to strip it of its armor should you strike hard enough. Once you have this down I will show you a second D rank taijutsu technique.” Senshi would then cross his arms waiting for Kon to practice, and offer any advice should he need it.
