The only sound that could be heard after the scythe whirled through the air was its inevitable impact against the back wall, its extraordinarily loud crash drowning out any screams that Reizo could've picked up on as an audio cue that the midget had been slain. He suspected he had killed her, and so he cautiously, carefully, and with great wariness approached the region of the floor where the midget had been standing. One thing was for certain, she had at least shut up. The only sound now was the nursery rhyme from the creepy girl and the din of the climate changing machine that had been set up.
The cold was biting, and Reizo's nose started to run. He was hugging himself as he approached the midget's body. He felt something squish under his foot and almost hurled when he realized it was brain matter and an optic nerve. The matted red hair was unmistakable as that of the midget, and so Reizo sought to leave the area as soon as possible. He found one chakra signature that still hadn't moved down the (originally) left half of the hallway, and so he hurried down there. Before he reached the part where the T intersection began, however, he slowed down. He wanted to move quickly to escape the cold, but at the same time he suddenly realized that it would be falling directly into the proctor's plans to speed up. It would make him less wary of traps. It was extremely cold however, and Reizo was getting worried he'd start suffering from hypothermia if he didn't escape this maze soon. He decided that a brisk pace was necessary, but he continued to scan the floor in front of him and whatever he could see above and to his sides as he walked with his eyes. He constantly pulsed his chakra in the event another being made their presence known, and kept his own chakra suppressed.
Reizo moved his right hand to the hilt of his tanto, ready just in case anything attacked him. His left hand was still firmly wrapped around his right arm, however, trying to salvage whatever warmth he could. He was getting increasingly uncomfortable with the mission environment. Had he known it would be so cold he would've worn his winter clothing.

Well too bad Reizo didn’t have the guts to face down the eventual Human Centipede just yet. Oh well that was coming soon enough. As Reizo went to check on the dead body of the midgit the stench of her unwashed filth would waft up to his nose, far worse than when she had been alive. While he was busying stepping in brain matter the dead midgit had released her bowels in death and had defecated and pee’d over the entire hallway. Now Reizo would have to deal with his sandals smelling like feces and human, well as human as the midgit had been anyways, urine.
As Reizo headed down the hallway he would come to another area that forced him to turn with it, since there were no other options. Unless he wanted to try breaking down one of these steel walls that was. As he continued the temperature would begin to increase, gradually at first until as he made the turn down the newest hallway, it suddenly ratched up to just over a hundred and twenty degrees. But fret not young warrior, it was a dry heat. Not humidity to deal with just yet. Reizo would come upon two doors if he continued down this hallway. The first he would be able to see had stairs behind it, leading him up to presumably a second level. The second, would be just to his right, he would feel no chakra signatures from it and it was clear that no sound seemed to be penetrating the obviously thick steel door.

Thankfully, as Reizo continued his journey down the corridor and made his turn, the temperature began to increase. Now it felt like the opposite extreme. He felt as though he were in Sunagakure or even hotter and drier. At least he was better dressed for this extreme, but he wouldn't get very far before finding himself very thirsty. It was very hot and arid, Reizo didn't want to linger too long in this area either. He noticed he was confronted with another choice - either he could open the steel doors that, logically speaking, would be very hot and likely difficult to open, or he could continue to advance up the stairwell.
Not wanting to toil with the doors and spend more time in this disgustingly hot part of the maze, Reizo proceeded up the stairs. He couldn't sense anything behind the doors, nor could he hear anything rattling behind them, so he figured it'd be best to leave them alone until all other options were exhausted. No reason to open the doors to traps if he could avoid it. If he still hadn't killed all 5 prisoners when he had traversed the maze, he would come back and deal with the enemies behind the door. Reizo trusted his chakra sensory abilities, and so he was worried it would just be a trap.
Reizo opened the glass door in front of him and ascended the staircase. He wondered what exactly could be up on this second floor. He didn't realize that there was an entirely new floor when he had leapt into the ceiling, but it made sense that one would exist considering the building's size and height. At least up these stairs he could make out some chakra signature so he'd deal with this threat first before taking the gamble on whatever was behind the steel door. Making sure his chakra was still suppressed and he was still pulsing chakra to sense other chakra sources, Reizo climbed up to the second floor, taking a deep breath to mentally brace himself for whatever lied ahead.

Re: Reizo Chuunin Exam 2

The temperature would begin to drop as Reizo entered the stair well and ascended upwards, but fear not dear readers it didn’t drop that much. Instead of the sweltering 120 degrees that Reizo was moving from it was now a nice cool, 100 degrees instead. But to trade off for the twenty degree drop, the humidity began to rise. While it started slow as Reizo exited the stairwell into his new, upstairs hallway, he would feel the humidity increasing dramatically with every step. Until after raveling a mere meter the humidity would be at a hundred percent. The walls themselves would be sweating, condensation dripping down them.
While Reizo had come from the dark, cold forbidding down stairs he now found himself in a brightly lit cooridor, almost painfully bright. The walls instead of the bland steel from the first floor seemed to be made of plaster and were a painfully bright white light. As Reizo continued down the hallway, his chakra sensory would guide him towards a door, behind it the chakra source he had been tracking was sitting in. Should Reizo observe his surroundings he would note that the ceiling was made up of weak looking tiles that could clearly be moved, much like an office building. Reizo had the choice to enter the room and deal with this new chakra signature or continue down the brightly lit hallway.

Re: Reizo Chuunin Exam 2

As Reizo made his trek up the stairs, he moved out of the sweltering dry heat and into the sweltering tropical heat. This was unbearably gross. Everything was sticking to Reizo- his clothes, his headband, his... body. It was increasingly annoying to unstick, and he developed a strange wide-step gait to accommodate his parts. Making his way through this blindingly bright hallway, which seemed designed to hinder anyone attempting stealth of any kind, Reizo would come before a door, behind which a rather potent chakra signature laid behind.
Squinting and trying to shield his eyes from the brightness to no avail while outside this room, Reizo could already tell that the instant he opened that door he'd instantly be an easy target. He'd attract far too much attention, and this opponent was certainly out of his league, at least in terms of chakra potency. The blonde haired genin knew he would have to kill this target to advance, however. This would make entering through that door extremely difficult. He'd either have to block whatever attack would be launched, which he was prepared to do, or find an alternative route. Since the latter required far less of a commitment the first time around, Reizo set about looking for any alternative entrances into the room.
It seemed as though this was the only door on this floor, which wasn't that big of an issue; any other door probably would attract the same amount of attention from the prisoner. Being on the second floor, Reizo supposed he could make an entrance from the ground floor below the prisoner, but that could still pose a serious risk if there were traps. He'd have no idea what he was jumping into. Taking a step back for a moment and putting his hand to his chin like Pepe, Reizo pondered his options for a moment. Neither going through the door nor attacking from the bottom would work. They were way too high risk. Reizo considered his Chuunin teammate, Senshi for a moment. Senshi was very adept at breaking and entering- he was always very discrete and stealthy while doing so. What would Senshi do in this situation? Reizo was always trying to curb his desire to just bust down the door and go in guns a blazing, especially while he was under watch during a Chuunin Exam.
Thinking about his good friend's habits and decisions, Reizo figured he would probably look for a way to get a jump on this target, probably from above. Glancing up at the ceiling, where much of the light was coming from (in addition to the supernaturally reflective walls), Reizo squinted and managed to make out the type of tiling used for the ceiling was practically cardboard. "Hmm, well that's pretty convenient. I bet Senshi would've taken advantage of this if he had this type of thing happen in his Chuunin Exam," Reizo would say quietly to himself. He was sweating now and his skin and clothes were wet too. It was almost like he were underwater. Jumping up the wall and gently moving one of the looser tiles out of the way, Reizo would wedge his way into the rafters of the ceiling. The heat and humidity was unbearable and he thought anymore than a couple of minutes up here and he might pass out and die if no one found him. It must've been over 130 degrees at 100% humidity. At least the wooden beams were saturated and thus wouldn't make as much noise as he moved over them, since they've expanded to their full size.
Positioning himself over the chakra signature, Reizo would swiftly drop out of the ceiling and into the room, swiftly beheading the prisoner inside with no wait or hesitation. He would make his swift cut just above the explosive collar (140 speed, 115 sharpness). A bit of guilt crept over Reizo's conscience. Was he really normalizing and rationalizing his killings to such a huge extent? Sure these people likely deserved it as they were put on death's row... but they had lives prior to this just as he did. They probably had families that had cared and worried for them, yet now he was acting as the sole arbiter in ending their lives. He didn't even know their names. It was becoming increasingly obvious that this exam was an exercise designed to desensitize kids, the outgoing class of Genin, to killing in the name of the village; Reizo didn't particularly take too fondly to that. At least it was better than some other villages where he had read that they kill each other rather than inmates on death's row, Reizo rationalized, once again.

Senshi’s heart would have swelled at the thought that his teammate was trying to put himself in his shoes. Then again Senshi had a big shoe size, so maybe Reizo should pick someone elses shoes to try on first. Still that was the strategy that was expected, which is why when Reizo used the Battojutsu quick draw and killed the person in the room, it poofed into smoke. Reizo at least had managed to kill the clone, so that he wouldn’t be fighting against two opponents at once. But still, his position was given away and the way the battojutsu quick draw worked, meant that Reizo was now in the room. Right in the kill path of the shinobi prisoner who was hiding behind a false wall in the room.
Mr. Shoyu Reizo, say hello to the ninjutsu specialist prisoner who decided to use the Chidori on you. The moment Reizo dropped from the ceiling targeting the clone and destroying it the real prisoner had started the hand signs. Reizo’s chakra sensory would suddenly explode as the use of the Chidori immediately broke his use of chakra suppression. From behind the false wall the prisoner dashed out his right hand glowing with the lightning nature chakra. From the way Reizo had landed the prisoner was coming at him from his left side, just within sight of his perifeials. He would be aiming to strike Reizo straight in the chest with his Chidori moving at a speed of 100, the power of the jutsu would be 100 as well.

Re: Reizo Chuunin Exam 2

To Reizo's surprise, the prisoner would disappear in a poof of smoke. Reizo had seen this type of jutsu before. Komon and Komori both were pretty adept at using it, the Shadow Clone Jutsu. Reizo had been duped by such a simple jutsu. It irked him that he had fallen for it, but he knew that even at the highest levels of combat such a simple trick could prove to be effective. It was an easy and clever way to gain information on your opponent's abilities while posing virtually no risk to the user. Reizo thought it would be best to keep that in mind for when he was able to use such a versatile jutsu.
Sheathing his sword, Reizo was about to examine the room he was in more closely when the room lit up with a bluish white light and a deafening chirping sound echoed through the chamber. Reizo pivoted and nearly panicked, deer in headlights, when he saw what he presumed to be the original caster of the Shadow Clone Jutsu. The man was attacking him head on and nearly point blank with a lightning jutsu so powerful that the condensed chakra was visible in the man's hand. As the man neared impact, Reizo regained his senses from his initial state of shock and his instincts and intuition kicked into overdrive. The man was fast, but Reizo could not be outdone in speed in these tight quarters.
At first, Reizo looked like he was going to attempt to block the chidori as it came in, swatting the man's arm away. Instead, however, an idea popped into Reizo's head and he instantaneously made the decision to go along with it. Instead of swatting the man's arm out of the way and counterattacking, Reizo would use a jutsu he had been spending some time on. It was less of a jutsu and more of a defensive maneuver. Still, the use of chakra through his body to enhance its speed and power more or less qualified it as a jutsu. Reizo would shoot his left leg upward and crash his left elbow down on the man's forearm just as the chidori was about to hit him (170 speed, 140 strength), shuffling ever so slightly away from the chidori's path so that even had the man continued, the chidori would be misdirected slightly to Reizo's left.
The impact was far greater than anything the man could've hoped to defend, lopping his arm off and cleanly severing his forearm from the rest of his arm, the bone shattering and the arteries and veins squishing from the mighty force of the Intersection Method. In the man's likely shock, Reizo would regain his footing and posture and deliver a powerful right hook, slugging the man's left cheek and spiraling him into the false wall with a resounding thud and crackle of his bones.
Reizo had a glazed look in his eye- half disgusted and half shocked at the damage he had done. He hadn't meant to be so brutal, but he wasn't exactly used to his newfound strength. For some reason, the other deaths didn't resonate with him quite like this one had. Killing with his bare hands seemed to make a more lasting impact. Despite this, Reizo knew he had to forge forward and left the room through the door.

Re: Reizo Chuunin Exam 2

Sad day for that prisoner. Reizo’s kick would indeed take the mans arm off at the forearm, but it wasn’t clean. The loud sound of breaking bone would echo hauntingly throughout the room and blood would spurt from the arteries that lay in the arm, likely covering the prospective Chuunin in his life blood. A nice bright red to add to that horrendously purple outfit. It probably even got on his face. Hopefully the Genin hadn’t had his mouth open when he had struck or else it would be in his mouth as well. Reizo should probably make a mental note to go to the hospital to make sure he didn’t get any diseases from this exam. Prisoners weren’t exactly known for being the healthiest of people after all.
Wouldn’t want Reizo to contract El Cancer from this exam after all. Deadpool was just a myth, after all. The right hook would immediately knock the prisoner out due to the strength the Genin possessed and his head would smash into the groun cracking it open so that Reizo could see bits of the prisoners skull. He still wasn’t dead, but he would bleed out soon enough that it didn’t really matter if Reizo decided to finish him off or leave him there. It was kind of rude not to end it though, rather ruthless to just let the man lay there and bleed out slowly. The proctors had certainly not expected that level of cold callousness from this particular Genin and they all made a note of it.
As Reizo exited the room, back into the nice tropical tempertures of the hallway he would be presented with the option of going left or right. Right would take him back to the stairwell and back down to the fridgid first floor. If he went left he would come to a bend in the hallway that pointed him down. If he continued to the left following the hallway he would note that he was drawing nearer to the third chakra signature he had sensed. As he moved down this hall way, should he choose it, he would note that there drawing on the walls. Like a child had sat down to make a picture for their parents. Multiple stick figures and little tiny weird suns were drawn onto the walls. The paint used to draw them on you ask? Oh that was blood. Whose blood was unknown but the metallic tang of blood would permeate the blonde genin’s senses.

Before leaving the room, Reizo would confirm his kill. He needed to make sure all the prisoners were killed or he wouldn't be able to leave. When he discovered the man to still be breathing, Reizo would slit the man's throat with his tanto and be on his way. Exiting the room through the door, the Genin would be presented with two options: right would take him back down to the first floor, while left would take him to an unexplored part of the maze. Not wanting to leave any part of this labyrinth without having checked it for prisoners, the choice was clear.
Taking a right out of the room, Reizo was eventually met with a series of childlike drawings and paintings. The thick iron scent of blood emanated from the walls. It seemed like the drawings were not done using red crayon, but in fact were drawn using blood. Hopefully it was the blood of some animal and not another human. While both would be utterly revolting, the thought of torturing a human and taking their blood for art made Reizo sick to his stomach. His clothes were already caked in prisoners' blood, as well as the left half of his face from when he had severed the mans arm. He had grown somewhat accustomed to the smell at this point, but there was definitely something distinguishing about the blood on the walls that made it stand out from what was on his clothes.
His chakra suppressed, Reizo could tell that a familiar chakra signature was nearby. It was one that he had sensed earlier when he had first entered the maze. It was by far the most fearsome chakra signature yet, and so Reizo kept his hand hovering over his sheathed tanto on his back to be safe. He dreaded the fight that was yet to come, as he cautiously approached the chakra signature.

As Reizo continued down the hallway he would be met with more drawings, they began to depict a battle. With a small stick figure slaughtering other random little stick figures. Cute little x’s were on all the dead stick figures faces with obvious blood spurting from random parts of their little stick figure bodies. As Reizo continued on wards the chakra signature would draw ever closer before suddenly three ceiling tiles would be knocked to the ground a mere eleven feet in front of Reizo. As they were knocked to the ground three heads appeared. It was the face of a four or five year old child and her appearance was… relatively disturbing.
She clearly was not a natural red head, but her entire face and hair were caked with what was clearly dried blood. Her blond hair appeared an odd red color, and it was crusted over in places, being held in place like she had bathed in the blood of her victims. Her tiny hands that could be seen holding her up in the ceiling were caked in blood. If Reizo looked beyond her just around a bend he would see three dead bodies, each wearing a headband of Kumogakure. No flak jackets so it was safe to assume that they were Genin who had attempted this exam before reizo.
The bodies were each mutilated in different ways. Once body had its foot snapped off and was sticking out of its mouth. Another only had half of its head, with its arm and hand poised like it was trying to hold its brains it and yet was failing. The third was the most gruesome of the bunch. It was the body of a naked female, her breasts clearly cleaved off and sitting on top of her pretty little blonde head. Her face was frozen in a rictus of horror, as though she had been alive when her breasts had been taken off. From her mouth hung one of her ears, dangling precariously like it was about to fall out.
The little girl smiled at Reizo from her position in the ceiling, her normally pearly white teeth stained red from the blood of her enemies. When she spoke her voice was high pitched and childish. It clearly held a tone of amusement and playfulness to it, she even sounded innocent as she spoke. “Are you my new playmate?” She would smile down at Reizo all three of her forms asked.
