The Trials begin

Standing there crouched in the corridor in the Center of his 1 meter radius Seal of suppression Ren monitored the Chakra signature of the proctor as he entered the room Ren activated his Minds eye and form a number of hand seals activating his flicker movement technique to increase his speed and allowing him to pinpoint the exact location of the proctor; and monitor him more closely. Once the proctor had turned his back to face directly away from Ren such that Ren was in his blind spot and started walking towards the most direct path towards the exit Ren pulled out a kunai with an explosive tag attached, the tag wouldn't be lit since Ren didn't intend to kill the proctor, but the message would be clear, this battle was over. Then throwing the Kunai (110 speed 10 str = (120/2) +40 = 100 speed at the shinobi who was still moving cautiously through the mist at a speed of 70. The blade would silently travel the 10 meters from Ren to the Proctor (who was still moving through the mist at 70 speed) and strike him in the back, narrowly missing his spine and other vitals in such a way that it was clear Ren could have struck any of them if need be. Once the proctor was down Ren would, assuming everything was in order walk over and place a Paralysis seal on the man before healing him and then making his way to the end of the maze, expertly avoiding all the traps that were set. Of course He'd change this plan if he had reason too

With the area covered in mist and the silence of the blade coming towards him, the proctor was surprised when he felt the edge of the knife bury itself in his back. The man made a soft noise, to hide his pain before falling over. He would use his hand to reach the kunai and pull it out flinging it away, after the third clank of the metal on the floor the proctor went silent. He wasn’t dead, but the damage was enough to cause him to faint.


After a few moments the proctor found himself unable to move entirely. Which to Ren probably hadn’t seemed that much different from his usual movements the past couple of seconds. A twitch here or there, but nothing significant. As Ren healed the ninja he would think of thanking the chuunin, but knew the words wouldn’t form nor could be said. Kiri was not a merciful place, only the strong survived. By all accounts this jounin should have been killed, yet he was spared. Maybe, the next chuunin that walked into the maze would be shown the same mercy.

Ren Headed to the docks having completed his first exam and moved onto the second one; boarding his little ship and rowing out to sea Ren eventually came to sit about 50 meters outside the island where he searched the shore of the island for any sign of the creatures that inhabit the island. Strafing around the island Ren eventually came into view of an old fishing hamlet, a group of five lesser wendigo's feasting on the carcass of some dead animal that they had no doubt hunted down, their backs all facing away from the ocean as they intently devoured their meal. Wendigo's obviously only came together in packs when lead by a greater wendigo, so with a subtle nod to himself he started rowing the boat towards the creatures. Ren would keep an eye on them as he rowed towards the shore, ready to react to them if they saw him at any point or changed their actions from what they were doing at that moment, otherwise he would make his way onto the sandy shore of the beachfront and pulled out five kunai, throwing them silently through the air to hit the creatures in their backs, severing their spinal cords at the right location to paralyze them from the waist down, and penetrate into their body's.

OOC: LAOK blah blah, don't think I need to calculate sharpness but will on request, its enough to hurt them at the least.

Sure maybe the wendigo’s couldn’t see Ren, but they could smell him. As he stopped his boat to pull out the kunai one of the lesser wendigo’s looked directly at him and howled like a wolf. Causing the others to look at Ren and join in with the howling the howling of other wendigo’s could also be heard in the distance.

If the ninja in the boat were to still throw the kunai’s in his hand all of the wendigo’s would slash at the metal object with their claws (sharpness 115, speed 60. RT of lesser wendigo’s is 120. Speed of kunai not given, but 110 seems fair with (40+100/2) +40) So, the kunai would be sent to the side with huge chunks of metal taken out of them from the slash marks. (sharpness of kunai base 50 + (110/4=27.5), so sharpness of kunai is 78. 115-78=37 damage done to each kunai hit by a wendigo’s claw. Leaving 13 health points on the kunai.)


The wendigo’s would then move closer to the shore, but not in a pack they would instead spread out. They would line up on the shore 15M’s apart from one another (speed 30). So, the first wendigo would be 60M’s from the last wendigo. The three center wendigo’s would then take to the water once it reached the shore. Two of them would dive, so that the ninja in the boat couldn’t see them once they were deep enough. (speed of swimming wendigo’s is 35. (80+60)/4, cuz momentum)

Seeing one of the Creatures look up at him Ren would Pull out two Kunai from his belt with his left hand and pass one across to his right hand, then step out from the boat and onto the sand, taking a combat ready pose, the two blades facing out from his body with his arms raised and hands close together with his feet placed a shoulders width apart as he beckoned for the creatures to come at him. As he did this he tried to sense their chakra but it felt as if there was nothing there. 'Interesting' Ren thought, making a note to not trust his senses with these creatures.

The wendigo’s on the sure would surround Ren moving like a pack none of them close to one another. They would be 15M’s apart with the furthest being 45M’ in front of Ren. There would be a wendigo to Ren’s left and right 15M’s from him and one to his 3 0’clock and 9 0’clock 30M’s away. The one at 45M’s would bark loudly and move in. As the creature got 15M’s from Ren, the two that were 15M’s from Ren would move in for the attack. They would slash at the ninja with claws aiming for the chest area, before attempting to bite the ninja’s head and neck.

(Assume max speed and power. Speed 60, sharpness 115 for claws and teeth) There are three out of five wendigo’s attacking to be clear. The one’s 30M’s apart are just moving around and growling at you.


As the wendigo’s on Ren’s left and right moved the air would grow still as a loud bark could be heard. If the sound of the bark was followed off in the distance the outline of a giant beast and four smaller ones could be seen standing on a plateau. (I’m assuming its dark and they are far away 250M’s)

As the Wendigos that had moved to surround him were about to jump in to attack him and the shadow of the great beast in the distance reached Ren's ears, and ren saw what he could only assume to be his target. Ren 
would immediately form the ram handseal (speed 100), not cutting himself with his kunai of course, and bodyflicker forward at a speed of 150, faster than the creatures could see or react to, and appeared on the edge of the plateau towards the left side, approximately 255 meters away from the wendigos from before and 5 meters away from the greater wendigo's entourage, the closest wendigo being 5m away and the others lined up 5m apart each with the greater wendigo in the center.

Behind Ren was a steep incline to the plateau, but ignoring that Ren, forming hand seals at the same turned to face the creatures before him the closest of the wendigo's who had its back turned to him a blur forming behind him as he threw one of his kunai and formed the rat seal, a golden glow forming around the blade. The blade would impact the Wendigo in the back with such force that it would sever his spine, but failing that the impact should still knock him over. With that in mind at the same time that he was throwing the kunai Ren reached out with his other hand, letting the other kunai hang from his finger and rest on the back of his hand so as to not get in the way of the technique Ren released the dark river breaking seal on his hands and released a bolt of concussive force from it, aiming it so that it would fly past the first wendigo just as it was hit with the kunai and flying over its falling body collide with the second wendigo.

Ren would of course change his actions as nessacary if he saw anything not following his intended plan
