Re: Of rain and roofs [P/NK]

"Maybe logic is the wrong word," Dol began. "It's more like we incorporate science. Take for example us, humans. God envisioned us, and caused us to be created. He did not poof us into existence, but instead set about the process for us to exist. This process is known by another word: evolution."
Dol stood up, tucking the book under his arm. He walked over to the edge of the gazebo, only barely remaining under the roof and outside the rain.
"Rain. Just one small part in a complex cycle that this world goes through. More than one, even. Hundreds, if not thousands, of things traveling. Changing. Only to end up right back where it started, how it started. Water evaporates and condenses into clouds. It then falls from clouds, collecting on the ground. From their it either evaporates of collects underground, moving always towards oceans, lakes, and rivers. Then it evaporates again.
"Such a beautiful thing. Finely balanced." Dol's face became grim, though this would be hidden from Angel unless she walked out into the rain. However, the tone shift of his voice would likely hint towards his mood shift. "Only to be perverted by this unnatural storm. 'It is for our protection' bull. How does rain protect us? If it's meant to sense outsiders, then it is just as much a protecting device as it is a controlling one. Watching us, constantly. Can someone hear what I'm saying through this rain? Can it read my thoughts?"
Dol reached into his pocket, reaching for a cigarette, before swearing to himself. He had promised to quit those years ago. He had succeeded. And yet even now, or perhaps only because of now, he yearned for them once again. They were an escape, as much as alcohol was.
"This land is twisted. The people are polluted. I just wish I knew how to fix it all."
He released a sigh, and stood back up from his leaning position. "But that's enough complaining from a tired old man. I assume a young one like yourself is here to train." He said this while turning to Angel, a smile upon his face, even though his eyes showed a deep tiredness. "I'll be leaving you to that, have a good one!" Dol would tuck the book underneath his poncho and, assuming Angel did not stop him, take his leave.

[voiding Dols exit, unless he wants to be a jerk and just ignore me, but that is fine if it is his character]

Dol started to stand up started to walk toward the edge of the gazebo, he looked like he was about to say something and change the subject, but The Poet stopped him.
“He didn’t pop humanity into existence?” the girl asked, “Surely you jest if you say that Evolution and religion can both be accurate, in the book of Genis, it is said that God created the world in seven days! Just Seven days! And the last day was even just a day of rest for him! That couldn’t be related to Evolution, since Evolution is supposed to take place over the course of thousands of years! You must be mistaken. Also, you said he didn’t poof us into creation? Perhaps in man’s case, you are correct, but in Genesis, it said something different when it came to women… In genesis two twenty something…. (For anyone who cares, it is Genesis 2:22) ‘Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.’ Forgive me if I sound slightly skeptical… but I don’t see how man could evolve from an ape… a water creature… or what ever science belives they evolved from in just one hundred and sixty eight hours.”

Stats are approved, as for jutsu...well I didn't see any training towards either of the jutsu, please let me know if I am wrong, but for now I won't be approving the jutsu claims Angel

At the very beginning (First post) What Angel was doing was using said technique, threw her kunai with said technique and used body flicker to keep up. It was in first post. If that isn't Ok, I can agree with that, but I don't feel like it wasn't trained at all
