Maku vs The Nine Tails

Pain, all the beast felt was pain. Its laser had impacted harmlessly on the face of the oncoming explosion. Unable to move fast enough the beast found itself caught up in the explosion that sent it to the outer extremities of the blast zone. Perhaps had the desert sands been rock instead they would have offered some resistance. However, the sand easily parted and sent the beast outwards leaving its attacker in the middle of a large sandy crater by the end of the technique and the Kyuubi exactly 100 meters away from him.

Any normal being, or bijuu for that matter, would have been killed by such a blast, but the Kyuubi was far from normal. Even as it was carried through the terrain its body began to heal. Steam rolled off of it as the burns its body sustained disappeared leaving its flawlessly red fleece. One did not simply kill a bijuu. In fact, Maku had only served to make it angry for by the time it reached the end of its ride courtesy of the explosion it attacked again.

With its injuries still healing the beast swiped its claw through the air in the direction of his would-be attacker. Halfway between the two combatants a tornado of epic proportions formed reaching 100 meters tall and 50 meters wide at its top before slimming down to 10 meters at the base. This tornado, however, would not remain idle as assuming the now golden man remained still it would rip towards him at a speed unseen by many in the hopes of shredding the man into nothingness.

The trajectory the beast took did not go the direction he had initially thought it would. The hulking golden form stood in the crater, a sound like an ice berg breaking loose beset the desert with a new sound. Even as the kyuubi unleashed a massive gale force, the sound continued as the tornado touched down. Several meters in front of the kyuubi and all around Maku the sands of the desert had been transformed. What had been coarse and loose now was sleek and solid. The glass absorbing the sunlight and reflecting it back, as though a frozen lake had been placed in the most unlikely of places.

The tornado pulled at the glass, pieces starting to part from the desert and turning the tornado into a double threat. Pieces flew ahead of the beast and turned to dust against the susanoo. As the tornado made it 20 meters from him, a second one appeared. This would appear 50 meters in front of the Kyuubi, at its height of 100m, the form took one step closing the distance. Leaning down one first launched forward to press the beast into the sand. The punch at full speed and strength hoping to keep the beast from fully healing.

The tornado would collide with the space time afterimage sending it away as though the winds tore through it.

How the beast had survived so easily he could not tell, however the goal was to beat it back down. This wasn't the creature that he had talked to, the one that had seen his side. Something was wrong, yet if it was a fight it wanted then he was obligated to provide one. Truth will put, eventually.

The tornado dispersed upon the appearance of the second Susanoo. After all, why would one continue to attack an opponent who was no longer there? No, that would be silly. Furthermore, the Kyuubi would not remain idle in the face of an oncoming attacker. That would be even sillier.

So, as the golden man stepped forward the bijuu leaped back in an arc without ever once dropping its gaze from the golden man. This arc reached its apex at five meters ultimately bringing the beast ten meters from where it once stood. Naturally, it allowed the beast to dodge the oncoming fist, which would smash harmlessly into the ground. Glass would shatter and sand scatter, but the Kyuubi would not be there nor be harmed by the shrapnel. Instead, the beast would touchdown on the ground with a dangerous red chakra bubbling from its mouth as the fist impacted the ground.

Fighting the golden man in close combat would be foolish and the Kyuubi was no one's fool.

Jumping, the mistake of many. The fist would indeed plow into the ground sending shards flying, however as the beast was at the height of his jump back, the susanoo would vanish at a speed of 300. Maku would appear on the ground for an infinitesimal moment before teleporting 2 meters in front of the beast. With arms outstretched 7 chains would fire from his body. One would hit the beast directly under its jaw locking itself in. A chain for each limb, one center chest, and the final sent out and around the beasts neck, constricting just enough for the razored edges to sink into the beasts throats attaching itself in a different way from the previous.

He would then pull down with all his strength causing the beast to not finish his trajectory and instead slam into the ground, limbs pulled apart and leaving it sprawled eagle.

The chain under its chin would force its face up, though this was hardly necessary, and would only amplify the fact that the beast was staring at Maku, something it had been doing this whole time. With its gaze, Maku would release two genjutsu creating a double set of locks to keep the beast calm. The first being the sharingan genjutsu. He had used it before, and similar he would use it to bring the beast to a more docile state.

Before the beast could think to break it however the Tsukyomi genjutsu would also take effect. Placing the beasts mind into a dark room. It would be given a sense of calm as well, eliminating its thoughts of the world and the struggle it faced. He placed it in the abyss, everyone deserved a rest.

It's mind would be sealed here, for the most part anyway. With the creature enslaved, he would have it use its powers to shrink to the size of a vulpix......wait we don't have those here. To the size of an overgrown house cat. After which he would have the beast go to sleep, still placed under the double layer of genjutsu working more effectively than any fuin jutsu could.

Walking over he would pick up the bijuu, and teleport back to where he was staying in suna. Back there he would place his mask on its head and let the poor creature sleep. He'd go digging more later.

Maku nite chains are done with a spd and str of 220. To pull a chain out it would require 270 str, this applies to all chains other than the one around its neck.

The timeline you presented is a bit off.
I write this:

Implying that the Kyuubi touches down when the Susanoo's fist impacts the ground.

Then you write this:

Essentially, you say the Suanoo's fist hits the ground, but the Kyuubi is still at the height of its leap. As you can see this is a direct contradiction of my post. I argue that given that the nine-tails starts its jump when you first step forward (said step subject to acceleration rules) that there should be enough time for the jump to go through when also taking into account the established timelines, speeds, and distances of those involved. Consequently, I will ask that you please edit your post accordingly or otherwise alter your actions.

Naturally, it is your prerogative to consult with a battle mod if you see fit.

Who is more foolish?

The fool or the one who follows the fool?

Tipped off by the disappearance of the golden armor, the Kyuubi would greet the trickster with an open maw as he appeared and began to lift his arms—from the onset of its jump the beast had begun preparation for a bijuu's signature technique. A vast laser of epic proportions would pour from the beast's mouth like liquid flame hungry for the taste of human flesh just as the first of the man's chains leapt forth from his body. With a radius of ten meters, the beam would catch the man in the middle of the firey cylinder ending the fight before it could escalate further. Certainly, the chains coming from the man would carve seven individual paths through the beam, but not disperse it. And, though the chains would remain true to their mark if the man could somehow see past the laser which expanded to its maximum size upon leaving the bijuu's mouth, the Kyuubi felt confident in its course of action. After all, any attack would be hard pressed to beat back the beam's power (Beam: 200 power vs Chains: 195 power).

Furthermore, the beam had to be angled slightly downwards as well for the trickster was surely feeling the effects of cruel gravity. So, the beam would, in fact, engulf the ground where the man once stood for the briefest of moments after his armor of golden evaporated. Lastly, if the man did somehow see his way past the beam, it would surely be too late for him as his body became kindling for the world's biggest luau.

The ball—or perhaps should we say the beam—was now in the human's court.

The creature didn't give up, which was exactly why it was a worthy catch. He'd rather play nice and not go through all this, yet alas we do what we must for what we want.

The beam was a shocked, and its sheer intensity brought beads of sweat to drop down his brow. He could feel the chains push through resistance, not something Maku noted lightly. It wasn't often that his chakra attacks didn't merely bully the attacks of others, however see the first sentence for his thoughts on this. The only saving grace being the speed of the beam. His breath was even and calm, his eyes stared at the mass of chakra. One by one he would fee the chains hit their mark. His original actions still mostly his aim, though adding a little more flare.

First the chain that hit its chin would rather than gently move its head up, would now snap it to an uncomfortable angle facing up and causing its bottom jaw to snap onto its top with a rather rough motion. Snapping it at its full strength he would likely break some teeth, and cause the remanants, if any, of the beam to stop or spray in an upward direction. At the time of all chains attaching though, Maku would vanish, teleporting a further 20 meters forward away from harm, leaving little room for error though avoiding the blast.

The remainder of his actions would then go through, slamming the beast down the double lair of genjutsu, the subjugation, and finally the vulpix transformation, and the party hat effect for the new pet. A lot of work, but well worth.

And so the trickster had pulled his last trick.

The firey beam battled the chains as they carved their way through it, but still, the bulk of the beam continued onwards. With the chains slowed down by the stiff opposition it would be too late for the blonde man. The beam would rip his frail body apart and reduce it to little more than ash, which would fall lazily on the glassed over sand below. It would be a quick end if nothing else, not that the rage-driven Kyuubi much cared either way.

Touching down on the soft sand the nine tails of legend felt its body begin to give way, but not to fatigue. Rather it felt as if its very being were being siphoned away by some distant and invisible power. The beast shrunk and shrunk and shrunk until it was no more. Perhaps one day soon it would face another opponent, but not today. Today it would rest and today it would remain free.
