Start of a New Chapter

Kinzoku found himself walking the streets of a now deserted village formerly know as Suna. Unless it was still known as Suna? But what would be the point of having a name if it no longer had any significance as a village? As far as he was concerned there was no one left. Everyone had either gone their own ways or were forced to join forces with Kumo. His path was heading for Konoha where he could only hope but to prevent the same outcome from occurring in Konoha. 

The former Suna Jounin arrived at the same gates the intruders had entered before taking over the village. Adjusting his hat, Kinzoku reached into the pockets of his jacket with his other hand pulling out both a cigar and lighter. He lit the last cigar he'd most likely ever have in Suna. Enjoying a few puffs in his former home, he left the cigar in his mouth and stored the lighter away. "It's bout time I head out" he mumbled to himself as he picked up a slight run exiting the gates of Suna. Never looking back, he left the village behind him and began heading towards a place he hoped he could call his new home.
