The offer Mors laid on the table was quickly dismissed, but he could tell it piqued the interest of the two in front of him. Maybe they’ll have to do it another time, the thought of finding someone to actually take Mors’ life would be rare. So, it was best to ask everybody he came across especially those from the village. How great would it be for the nations to sing the praise of how a Kirigakure shinobi had slayed an immortal? What would a village be if its shinobi didn’t help each other reach their goal or looked out for the advancement of the village one way or another? In the end though it didn’t matter to Mors what the wager officially was, he only cared about the fight that was going to happen, the blood that may spills and bones that may break.
The counter to his offer wasn’t as satisfying, he did not like it, but again he did not care. It was about time the vanilla smelling one was spoke and came out of the void he was stuck in, it seemed he had agreed to the counter proposal. The samurai looking being introduced himself as Jinzu and bowed gracefully. Such properness in such a dark world was a rare thing to come by.
The thought came to his mind as quick as it was done it caught him by shock not very many were proper, especially here in this village. ”Mors be my name, and death is my game if you couldn’t tell.” he did a short bow and a harmlessly maniacal smile, as his words left the orifice. He continued as his head raised back up, ”Now as for the offer, I guess I could agree to it, not what I prefer but better than nothing. It should be fun to see if you are weak man or a monster.” The smile taking on qualities of a sinister nature mixed with some bliss and wonder. Mors stayed vigilant, keeping very aware of his environment, studying all around him that could and could not be seen, feet planted and ready to move or brace from all around, him spry ready for action. The look on his face went from the smile to neutral to a slow and steady climb of crazed excitement as he waited for his turn again.

Fenrir listened as the other two spoke, measuring their words. Jinzu's introduction was rather short, polite, generally normal. He also seemed to be less bloodthirsty than Fenrir or Mors. Mors seemed to be much like Fenrir, if a little bit less... controlled. His introduction also slightly annoyed Fenrir what with death being his game and the like. He certainly didn't like the last bit, as he saw man and monster to be the same being.
Now that the other two had introduced themselves, Fenrir supposed it was his turn. My name is Fenrir, and I like to fight. I suppose I also like to kill, but we aren't supposed to do that here. Not yet at least. He didn't change his smile during the duration of his introduction, keeping his eyes on the two ninja in front of him. He then recalled that they were in a crowded celebration, and made another suggestion. Perhaps we should find a less... populated area for our little spar. Wouldn't want to accidentally explode some pedestrians and lose our heads, now would we? Although Mors seemed like the type to fight in a crowd, Jinzu seemed more disciplined, and Fenrir hoped that they would go along with the change of scenery.

Jinzu's smile would take a more amused tone to it as he listened to the maniacal laughter of Mors, he was obviously short a screw here or there. He was partially amused by the laugh but the real amusing part was the death being his game, as shinobi their job included killing, all of them, sooner or later will be killing someone out of necessity. He seemed to revel in it though, not as a job to undertake but he literally meant a game, which explains why he first proposed a fight to the death, it would have been more fun for him.
As for Fenrir, a glance told him he spent a lot of time analyzing Jinzu and Mors, which is expected, Jinzu himself was doing the same and Mors was probably sizing them up, whether that was as quarry or fellow ninja was left to be decided. Fenrir went about recommending they go to a spars area which Jinzu wholeheartedly agreed with, he didn't want any innocents to get hurt. And from what he had gathered of Mors so far, he would have little issue with using a pedestrian as a weapon if he thought it enjoyable.
"I agree, Fenrir, and well met, the both of you." Jinzu purposely made eye contact with the both of them as he addressed them. "As we are near the outskirts of the city anyways a short walk will take us away from this dense population, more room to stretch our legs, so to speak." Jinzu would motion down the alleyway, which eventually lead out towards the coast, as the city was hosting the festival the beaches would be emptier than usual giving them a wide berth from any possible casualties and an open area to test their mettle.

Mors had listened to the two as they both spoke of moving to a different area. He thought of sharing his sentiments on it, but would rather pass. It was nice to get to know his fellow shinobi, he watched as they tried to get a read on him. They would have to wait though for it was easier to share through blood than it was words, words were skewed and ever changing. To truly understand those you are around you would have to see them at their rawest, and that was going to happen soon. Mors said next to nothing as he followed Jinzu and Fenrir through the alley, he did not feel the need to be as vigilant as when they first met as they moved. He followed a little behind, but he was calm, head slightly bowed and eyes closed, he was praying and chanting all the same. Lowly, just barely noticeable, it almost sounded as mumbling of a lost soul. Mors was following their footsteps listening to every little detail of them understanding and recognizing the slight differences.
Upon reaching the beach Mors would finish his praying. "It shall be a pleasure getting to know the two of you, and maybe next time we use the crowd, as much as i could careless about the people in it, i cannot harm them." The words would not have an ounce of deceit within them. "It'd be a testament to our skill and expertise to fight within a crowd and not harm a panicking citizen. I shall be ready whenever the two of are." Waiting as they all got situated to begin what they came here to do.

Following Jinzu as he led the trio to a secluded beach, Fenrir would watch the other two walk. He had spent almost the entire conversation intensely focusing on them, and he believed he had their personalities down, or at least the outline of them. Although he was surprised by Mors saying he wouldn't hurt the civilians. It was of course normal for a ninja, but for obvious reasons Fenrir assumed it would be different with him. After Mors finished speaking, Fenrir would throw a few words out there himself. So, on a scale from 1 to 10, how much do I have to worry about accidentally killing you two? He smiled a slightly friendlier smile with this statement, attempting to show that it was a joke. He did also want to know at least an estimate of what these two were capable of before fighting them. Didn't want to actually end up killing them on accident now did he? As they arrived at the beach, Fenrir would place himself exactly 30 meters from Mors, gesturing towards another area, 30 meters from both himself and Mors for Jinzu. If they began in these places, Fenrir would have his back to the water, giving him the disadvantage. He would then get into his stance, ready to start flashin' dem hands for some jutsu.

Jinzu strolled down the path to the beach, as relaxed as he was when he was perusing the festivities and keeping an eye out for criminals. Honestly he was excited to train with these two, though he made sure to not show that enthusiasm, there was a part of him that thoroughly enjoyed fighting, there was something simple yet poetic about combat. He made a small mental note of the mumbling Mors did, he was unable to make it out for sure, but there was definitely some kind of rhythm to it that interested Jinzu.
"You'll have to excuse my assumptions then, as I had taken death being your game meaning you willing to sacrifice all the little pawns you could." Jinzu said to Mors, in a tone the was still light and polite but had more of an edge to the word pawns. He'd make his way to the spot indicated by Fenrir's gestures, 30 meters away from the other two, he'd quip back at Fenrir with, "Be careful, pride has lead to the demise of many greater men than yourself."
He'd adjust his stance, firmly planting his feet on the ground and taking a posture to make sure he would see the both of his sparring partners. His demeanor would be starkly different than earlier, the smile he wore would be completely gone and his face would be stern and rigid, and his movements mechanical and calculated. This may have been a spar but he was taking it as seriously as he would a battle to the death. He took the reactionary route and would wait for someone to take the first action and act accordingly, his hands at the ready stance.

Such a distance away from each other, Fuck it, makes it more interesting.” It was the only thought through Mors’ head, he had not moved from his spot initially as both would move the thirty meters away themselves. He watched the other two as they readied themselves, a stand still would not be amusing for the most part not right now, each would put too much thought into their actions, afraid to take the first move for fear of loss. But for one such as Mors fear did not exist, maybe it was due to his curse, or his upbringing, or his lack of support, he did not know. Nor did he care at the time. It was time for chaos to begin, something that was peaceful to the genin.
”Death avoids me!’ Mors would take off from the spot he stood, at half his max speed, in the direction of the one who picked the starting positions. The last to speak and first to act, Animae was no longer in his falsified state of who he was. His primality came through the moment he took his first step towards Fenrir. His face more like an aggressive predator, than human, his movement more animalistic. The monster within him came out, he shed his human façade. His senses were now at their peak. He might have been heading towards one but the other was still in the corner of his eye.

(Single post running at 7.5, distance between me and you is now 22.5 meters)
So, the one named Mors had decided to go for Fenrir to begin with. This wasn't what Fenrir would call a mistake, but perhaps it was a little poorly executed. Fenrir would begin running backwards away from him, going only 5 meters at half his speed, making the total distance 27.5 meters, and putting him in the shallowest part of the water, barely reaching his ankles. After his arrival here, he would perform the hand-seals he had practiced for his current strongest jutsu. Boar, Ram, Rat, followed be the extension of his right hand, pointing pointing the top of the blade to his left, ready for his opponent. He would also draw a kunai into his left hand, wielding it more towards Jinzu than Mors, ensuring that his opponent knew he was not yet forgotten. Now, Fenrir would wait for his opponent to move again make his next move. Death avoids you, but it follows me. Fenrir didn't know why, but he felt the need to make a crappy one-liner to match his opponents.

Jinzu would watch as a bestial bloodlust took Mors, fueling and driving him towards action, a not frenzied, but driven charge towards Fenrir. Jinzu himself would also start closing the distance, going towards Fenrir at a slower pace though to keep an eye on both Mors and Fenrir. His actual first action would be to recognize that Fenrir was starting hand seals and would pull two shuriken from his kimono, his gear and item pouches being within, and throw them, one aimed at each of Fenrir's shoulders. He wasn't one for one liners, not in a battle at least and would leave the witty banter for before and after, even if witty wasn't particularly the most prevalent descriptor for the exchange between Mors and Fenrir.
(If I've done the math correctly the shuriken are travelling at 26.5 speed and Jinzu would be moving at around 4 speed himself.)

Both were partially on the defensive, one pulled a sword from thin air after he made some seals, the other threw a shuriken towards Fenrir. Mors couldn't do much but be vigilant and keep moving. Nothing at the moment put mors into harm's way. He was now moving at his full speed of 15, able to close the distance much faster, his running was getting more primal as he had moved closer to his target. He was low to the ground, low enough that he'd use the power from his hands and arms to control the direction he moved, using all four limbs as an animal would the closer he would get. It was probably and odd site for many to see. But it reminded Mors of his first fight with an alpha, only reversed. He might have been stuck in bloodlust, but that did not cloud anything. He still was ever vigilant ready for anything to come his way, Dodge or move out the way, he was prepared for almost anything. If all else failed he could take any hit thrown at him, if done right he knew it would throw the two off their game.
(Editing in math would be at 12.5 meters by next post)
