Insubordination

The boy swore in pain as Kazuo's blade hit home, and Yomi purred as his blade tasted the blood of the boy, sapping away some of his chakra. He shut his eye in pain and wrapped his hands in his shirt, seeming to give up. Kazou let the boy's cursing slide for now, given the circumstances, and focused on the boy's complaint that the group was not doing enough good. His expression was stern and stoic. He was by no means the best teacher, but this boy would die in a real fight without proper training, as far as Kazuo was concerned.


"You wish to stand before the army that took your home from you, yet you cannot avoid one swipe of a blade." Kazuo retorted. "If you want to do good in this world, if you want to protect the weak, you must first make sure you can protect yourself." He continued, his blade now sheathed.

"We're returning to the mountain. If you try to pull a stunt like this again, you'll lose more than just a little bit of blood." Kazuo warned, reaching for the boy's shoulder. If the boy allowed him to do so, the two would vanish in a flash of purple light.

“Huh, that makes sense.” Ryu would say getting a good look at his hand. Cool, its all bloody and gross. “Is this gonna get inspected? (infected)” He would ask holding up the hand for Kazuo to look at. “Ya, know I can’t really do hand seals like this right?” He would point out as they disappeared into the mountains.
