Drown the Vanishing Thunder God (Xy, Rits, Kots)

Just as stated in the destruction topic, the blade of Samehada had been retrieved and now continued to rest on the right shoulder of the male as he made his way towards the girl that was currently a short distance ahead of him, granted that she didn't run back into her peers in order to avoid the opposing Kage. His free hand remained open and around his midsection to allow for rapid, short movements if need be due to not knowing how many people he would have to kill before he gained the glory that came with brutalising the Hokage. Around about the time of his third step towards the girl, or earlier should some scrub timeline him, the revered helmet of the Abysswalker would fade into reality around the head of Xyxer, blocking the view of his glorious face.

Should nothing further occur, Xyxer would swing the blade down towards the left side of Risako's neck with his right hand on the hilt of Samehada, intending to use the weight of the weapon itself as well as his strength to obliterate the girl's body on the spot. Xyxer cared little for who wanted to help out the marked Kage.. he had doubts that any of the ninja from this village understood killing. They were raised under the safe, strong presence of the Uchiha.. of the likes of Viper and Echo, renowned shinobi of their time. Yet they were gone now if the rumours were to be believed, and Konoha had become nothing more than a cornucopia of weakness during their absence; A hivemind of people that deemed themselves superior to the reality of death. 

That was why the Bloody Mizukage had arrived.

Following Yu's mad man dash to Risako, the girl stood still as Xyxer approached. Once he neared three meters, her left hand would center itself in front of her chest, forming the seal of confrontation. Below her, mostly hidden by the grass and puddling water, a fuinjutsu array would spread from her feet, with her at the center, the hidden seal being the only indication of the Barrier: Confining Technique. As she made the handseal, she began to run backwards and away from the Mizukage. However seeing as he was most likely moving faster than her at this point, she would likely be exiting the circle at the same time he entered, putting them two meters apart. Should Xyxer continue with his action of swinging Samehada down at Risako, the girl's form would disappear along with the fox in a brilliant yellow light, only to reappear where the kunai from before had landed. Let's say she preformed all these actions as fast as she could.

By the time the Kaguya had reached he full standing position with his bare feet planted into the muddy ground, the Mizukage had already been making his way towards Risako. Grin plastered across the Kaguya's face, he nearly lifted his hands to fire a single bullet into the head of the Mizukage. Though it was almost as if the Mizukage had read his mind. Within seconds a helmet formed out of thin air to complete the armor set of the Kiri leader. Dammit. Now they not only had to worry about that massive sword resting on his shoulder, but they would also have to get past his armor before being able to do and real significant damage to the man. The moment the Mizukage's helmet formed around his head, Kotsuzui began sinking into the ground as it turned to sand under him.

The Mizukage made his way towards Risako and she wisely began running backwards to create some distance. Though just as the man swung down his massive sword, Risako vanished in a flash of yellow light reappearing where the kunais had struck the ground. It reminded him of his own jutsu, though this one was clearly not the same. As it stood, the Mizukage had no idea that Kotsuzui's intended on attacking him and for the time being he was going to keep it that way.

Kotsuzui locked his eyes onto the massive robot approaching Konoha as if to make it look like that was his target. At the same moment Risako had teleported, Kotsuzui had fully submerged himself underground. Since she was now at the kunai just in front of the lined up Jounin, she was not too far from the Kaguya. Now moving underground and out of sight, Kotsuzui began slowly heading into the direction of Thane. Rather he made it seem that was his intention. In fact he had moved within two meters of Risako's position, continuing to make it seem as though he were headed for the front lines. Being able to know everyone's location while underground, Kotsuzui focused particularly on Risako and Xyxer waiting to make his move.

As the sleek metal of the kunai sliced through the air on it's destination towards Yensung, it passed inches away from the side of Risako, who in turned threw their own kunai on a path of interception in order to hinder this movement.. yet it'd be too late. The tag that was wrapped snugly around the hilt of the instrument would explode an inch to the side of the deputy kage's torso, blasting through the flesh of Risako and causing a shower of blood, bone and flesh as it rattled through what was left of her head. It was a gory demise. At the same time, Xyxer felt the vibrations of the earth beneath him, close to where the explosion had occurred, and he'd react simply by removing Executioner's Finesse from his ninja pouch before throwing it down towards the location of the movement; the path of the kunai angled to strike the male's torso with no prior indication of Xyxer's intent being revealed. Of course, if that was not to kill him, then Xyxer would follow up the throw by immediately stepping a few feet away from his position while slamming his sword down towards his body that was still buried within the earth.

Or, at least, that was how Xyxer's premonition went.. how bizarre. In the next moment, he saw the girl teleporting towards her kunai as soon as it landed upon his, once again, being blown to smithereens from the tag that was attached to the object. Boy oh boy, these thoughts were just getting plain weird.

Watching the girl's reaction to his kunai throw was all that he needed in order to further his plan. As soon as her own kunai came into contact with his, roughly five meters to her side, the tag itself would immediately combust and explode, creating a minor distraction to their side while their kunai hurtled off; His own kunai stuck the ground immediately beneath the explosion, with Risako's kunai hurtling through the air in an arc back towards her position, it's speed rather slow given that it was only being carried by the momentum of the exploding tag after it lost the majority of it's own force through hitting the opposing object. If nothing else should happen to Risako's kunai, it would continue to arc through the air.

As he continued to chase the girl in the drenched, white uniform which was practically revealing her green jounin flak jacket, he witnessed the girl form a handseal a second before the explosion occurred.. the seal of confrontation. Perhaps, after all this.. there were only a few bad apples in the lot, and the leader was attempting to remedy the rot. He formed his own spare hand into the seal of confrontation as he continued the chase, inevitably, swinging the blade down towards her. Yet.. a faint pulsation of chakra alerted Xyxer to something being off.. his senses finely attuned to the taste of chakra, with his blade sharing the same sentiment. This time, when Xyxer brought the sword down towards the girl, he'd imbue it with a light bluish chakra akin to the one he put over his kunai. With his infused blade, he broke the dome almost instantly, with Xyxer having no fucking clue if that makes any sign, noise or even indication that it was there to begin with. As such, he did not detail it that way. Instead, he felt the dissipation of chakra in the air, with the infusion of the blade seeming to disappear within itself.. A stray thought crossed through his mind.. Did Samehada eat it's master's own chakra?

Regardless, Kotsuzui was now roughly four meters away from Xyxer towards his top right, and he was not only heard by the male that was accustomed to the pattering of rain, but he was also sensed; The senses of the shark allowed him to feel out his position in the earth. These people.. they all lacked honour. Forming handseals during negotiations.. forcing others to perform an honourable seal to your own advantage.. and also hiding inside the ground? That was exactly where they belonged.

Now, if Risako had decided to teleport to the kunai that was in the air, Xyxer would cut the swing of the sword against the barrier short after it was initially destroyed to proceed with moving it up vertically, aiming to cleave the girl in half should she be descending from the sky, roughly 15 meters off the ground. Alternatively, if she did not and continued to run, he'd chase after her himself with caution to avoid being within two meters of Kotsuzui himself, with the kunai landing behind him roughly five meters. If he got close enough to the girl, or the boy for that matter, he'd swing his sword at their heads. It was a classic. "I have no interest in playing Whack-A-Mole, get out from the ground so I can put you there myself." Xyxer snarled, as the demon within prepared itself to fill the crimson sea it needed to support the Mizukage's cursed ship voyage across the world.

Oh, right, and since it's tradition around these parts, ALL AT MAX SPEED.

And for clarification, the first two paragraphs don't actually happen. This isn't some elite style of RP]

Risako had never even sparred with her own Kage. At least not while they held the title, so this was her first battle against someone who held the position. It wasn't a training exercise, it wasn't a game, it was war. Seeing as all's fair in war, before she could come under mortal danger she would teleport out of the battlefield momentarily to avoid an attack should she need to. To where she would teleport back into the battlefield will be detailed should it occur. 

The explosion some five meters off to her side would sound out around the area, and seeing as anyone else had yet to really spring into action on either side, she figured it was where the two kunai had met. Xyxer had used an explosive tag, a common tool. Her vision was focused entirely on the male and his weapon now, making sure not to make direct eye contact with him. Sharingan or not, genjutsu was a real threat, and from her experiences that was the easiest way to ensnare someone. All the while she continued to back away from him, as in the second he moved to swing his weapon down while standing approximately two and a half meters from her on the other end of the barrier, her hand dove under the collar of her robes and into a pocket located on the left shoulder of her flak jacket. Retrieving the kunai from her jacket she would both place another Flying Thunder God seal on its handle and throw the tool at the Mizukage with the same motion. Its tip was aimed to the right of the weapon and at his left bicep, forcing him to either move the direction of the sword to block it or his armour would take the hit. By now, her original kunai that she tossed to intercept his kamekazi kunai would be roughly two meters off from the Mizukage and Deputy Hokage, and fourteen meters high.

As stated previously, by this time she had already began to move backwards, at the closest they would be roughly two and a half meters apart. As Xyxer's sword struck through the barrier and touched the ground, there would be no indication of the barrier breaking, and the blade would entirely miss its mark, leaving a little over a meter between the tip of Samehada and her, even at its closest distance. There really was no indication of a barrier at all, other than the slight sense of chakra dissipating into nothing as the weight of the sword broke it. Granted, the male was just a tad faster than her and if she chose to run, he would catch her eventually. Presuming he slowed to swing the sword, it would buy her a bit of time. That said, she would continue to back away from him like a predator from Chris Hansen. As she did so, unless some action from her opponent caused her  to do otherwise, she would state "And to think I thought you would keep to your word," her words came out at the same moment her kunai would connect or pass Xyxer, depending on his actions.

As is custom on NRPG, lest ye be vague'd into a coma, all movements and actions happen at their maximum speed.

Kunai isn't sharp enough to break his armour, no point in detailing the math other than saying it's going at LUDICROUS SPEEDS. If I need to do the math, lemme know and I'll crunch it out here.

It seemed the Kaguya's attempt at a surprise attack was completely futile. As it were, Risako and Xyxer were within meters of one another and it seemed Risako was incapable of creating enough distance from the Mizukage at this moment in time. As a result, Kotsuzui had no way of sneaking up on the Kage as he had planned without getting too close and alerting Xyxer of his presence. Well, it wasn't really his style in the first place. The Kaguya quickly resurfaced to the ground, his white clothes now all muddied and brown. Even the rain wouldn't be able to clean his clothing, what a drag. The moment his upper body surfaced from underneath the ground Kotsuzui spotted Risako moving backwards evading the initial swing of the Mizukage's massive sword. Placing both his hands onto the ground, Kotsuzui quickly heaved his legs out of the ground getting them back up top, now finding himself in a kneeling position.

As it were, he wasn't doing much in helping Risako fend of the Mizukage. What good was he if he couldn't at least distract the invader from his Hokage for just a moment? He needed to do what he did best, and that was take the fight up close and make it personal. Even if it meant giving his life. If he could give his Hokage a few moments to better defend herself or even hold off the Mizukage just long enough to give the others time to come help, then that is exactly what the Kaguya was going to do. A grin spread across the Kaguya's face, one larger than should be expected. Even in the face of potential death the Kaguya couldn't hold back his excitement.

With both hands on the ground from his kneeling position, Kotsuzui would dash forward with everything he had just like an Olympic sprinter. Kotsuzui attempted to do so while Xyxer would be reacting to the kunai Risako threw, or not reacting to it and letting it hit him. Once arriving, Kotsuzui would stop just outside two meters from the right of the Mizukage before finally making his move. Now once he got there, there were a number of possibilities for the Kaguya to take, and some of them were dependent on how the Mizukage reacted. This was also assuming the Mizukage didn't make a move on him while he dashed towards him, in which case Kotsuzui would react to it. Once there Kotsuzui would move in the remaining two meters to make his move(or so). 

His body would move behind Xyxer as he stuck out his right arm in an attempt to smash his entire arm into the right side of Xyxer with a Lariat. If successful, the Lariat probably wasn't strong enough to break the armor of the Kage but would pack enough force to knock the man off of his feet, hopefully. However, if the Kage were to react to the Kaguya moving in for the attack, Kotsuzui would attempt to react accordingly. If Xyxer went for a vertical strike with his weapon or even a straight attack with his limbs, Kotsuzui would attempt to side step it to the left putting him in a position to continue with Lariat, which is what he would do. If Xyxer went for a horizontal strike with his weapon or even a sweeping strike with his limbs, Kotsuzui would proceed to front flipping over the attack with Early Sacrifice while placing his right hand onto Xyxer's opposite (left) shoulder. If Kotsuzui contained enough strength during the flip, he may be capable of holding the Kage down preventing him from moving from his current spot. Once landing onto the other side and still holding onto Xyxer's shoulder, Kotsuzui would use every muscle fiber in his body to flip Xyxer over the Kaguya and send him rolling across the ground. In the process, if Kotsuzui managed to throw the Kage away from Risako and Xyxer didn't have enough strength, he would lose his grip on Samehada and have it rolling across the ground as well along with its master. Whichever way this went, it was merely all an attempt to shift the focus from Risako to himself. Meanwhile, this was all done with his maniacal smile.

With the established distance between the two having already been declared as 2 meters, and Xyxer's speed naturally being superior to Risako's, it was only fair to assume that he had caught up to her quicker than she anticipated in her post. Contrary to what Risako presumed, Xyxer would not slow down to swing the sword as there was no reason for him to do so, his strength enabled him to wield the hefty blade with little strain. As such, when the bandaged blade came crashing down through the invisible barrier, through some misfortune of either miasma or the girl's overbearing anxiety, she would misinterpret the actual distance of the sword as it came crashing down into her left bicep diagonally. A thunderous crunch echoed from the dull hit as the bone of the girl's arm snapped almost instantly on impact, yet it was fortunate for her that the momentum would carry her off to the side, likely flying from the impact.

When Xyxer's studious eyes witnessed the girl forego the seal of confrontation in exchange to reach for her pouch, he would repeat the same motion but to his own wares, diving into his secured pouch to reveal the same item as Risako. He'd throw his own kunai to intercept the girl's kunai, avoiding his own body and weaponry during the process. The intention was simple: Knock the kunai off course, potentially harm her with the slick counter, and continue on dismantling the girl like a vicious dog dismantles a cute poodle. If Xyxer's kunai was to hit Risako's, it would knock the momentum out of it, sending the girl's kunai back towards her feet harmlessly to rest tip first in the ground. His own kunai would carry on towards her hip, with Xyxer moving the bulbous sword back towards his right shoulder before Kotsuzui had moved past 12 meters from his starting position.

As for the fiery, pink-haired mohawk rocker who was attempting to cross a 15 meters gap at roughly 63 speed, Xyxer would respond to his actions by watching him momentarily, before throwing a kunai directly towards him to intercept his path, simply intending to delay him for now as Xyxer chased after the Hokage once more. Once he heard what she had to say, granted she continued to speak despite the attack, he'd respond at once due to his honour being questioned, "You expect my mercy when you have your shinobi perform jutsu under the pretense of acceptance?" Xyxer would say from behind the metallic maw of the Abysswalker, before continuing on, "I did keep my word. I told you people would die today. A lot of people, if you forced my hand." By the time he'd finished saying this, Kotsuzui would roughly be 7 meters away from the two of them still. Now, granted that the other kunai hadn't took the boy out of the fight, Xyxer would throw another towards him, aiming for his thigh in particular. With roughly five meters distance between them at this point as Xyxer chased the girl, none of Kotsuzui's attacks would go through, allowing him to change them in the coming moments. The kunai from the initial throw would now roughly be 10 meters from the ground, and 2 meters from the Mizukage until he started chasing the girl, in which case the distance grows dependent on how far he can get since he's moving away from the descending projectile.

As Samehada hit Risako's arm, it would hit with enough force to shatter the bone in her bicep while simultaneously breaking her ribcage, still hitting with enough force to send the girl flying away. Before she landed however all the same actions from before would occur, detailed exactly as they were. Upon hitting the ground, she winced as she felt a sharp pain in her left side, at the same time her own kunai would land between her own feet. In one more flash of golden light, Risako would disappear from the battleground and reappear in the temple where her foxes called home. Training FTG had desensitized her from the pain to an extent, but her vision began to blur. Where the bulbous weapon hit her ribs, it had broken them, and the impact she had with the ground managed to push her broken rib up and into her heart. Once unconscious the Deputy Hokage would continue to bleed out until she was dead. 

The next time she opened her eyes, the sight she saw was a vast blackness with a waterlogged campfire in the middle. One small ember managed to persist through the unfavorable conditions, however. It was with this ember that she would spend the rest of her time. In the face of death she was too bothered with self preservation to save even a single life of the ones she called family.

Or that's what would have happened had Samehada not wrapped itself around Risako as it broke her arm. As she was flung across the battlefield, so was the legendary blade. Simultaneously, this sapped most of her chakra and caused her to go limp. loosening her grip on Mako's sword and allowing it to fall from its sheathe and onto the ground. Crashing into the ground, she rolled over as the sword made its weird little noises and did its weird little thing. Unable to really move at this point, at least not much more than your regular piece of broccoli, she watched Xyxer as he would do whatever he did. Her initial reaction was to teleport away, however she found it hard to gather her chakra enough to succeed with that right this second, didn't keep her from trying tho.

Oh all actions happen at max speed since that's custom 'round these parts.

The distant battle going on between the two Kages and a single Chuunin rouses Tiger almost immediately. She begins to head off at an extensive pace, darting along throughout the turmoil-filled village and slicing down any nameless reddof shinobi that may be obstructing her movements, until she's finally on the scene--having used Risako's gradually-dimming chakra presence as her guide. A rush of chakra runs through her frame, directing itself to her eyes and awakening her clan's doujutsu in full maturity. A pair of glowing, red eyes make themselves apparent from beneath her mask, with three tomoe swirling into being.

Should her intentions go uninterrupted, chakra flows out into her hand afterward, and on a whim she attempts to jab her palm upon the legendary, chakra-sapping weapon's hilt to seal it away into an alternative dimension with the Storage Displacement technique (235 Reaction Time, aka. the Speed of the technique's retrieval of the Samehada). If it succeeds and goes through, the Samehada visibly disperses into particles right before it's owner's eyes. The modified Ox handseal, as well as the Tiger, are contorted by one hand before the man's very eyes (if he doesn't interrupt), and she directs a newly-kneaded basis of chakra into Risako's form, promptly alleviating the damage done.

"Get away from here. This isn't your fight to die in." The operative remarks, standing up at this point and adjusting herself to face Xyxer. She'd restored just enough of Risako's chakra for the girl to run, should all of her actions went through as intended, that is.

"Do your worst." The martyr has arrived.

For all his effort, the Kaguya was too slow and could not reach the Mizukage before he struck Risako. Although Kotsuzui did not feel the impact of the massive sword himself, he could definitely hear it. Just from the sound it made, with or without the sound of bones breaking, Kotsuzui knew it was a fatal blow to the acting Hokage. Then the strangest thing happened as the sword basically came alive and attached itself to Risako. Was the weapon a creature? What kind of sword was that? Whatever it was, the Kaguya did not have much time to ponder about it as the Mizukage reached into his pouch yet again.

Judging from the last weapons he had pulled out from his pouch, Kotsuzui could only assume he were about to pull out another kunai. So simultaneously with his right hand, Kotsuzui reached into his own pouch behind him under his white cloak and grabbed a kunai of his own. In one clean motion he pulled the kunai out from his pouch and deflected the oncoming kunai Xyxer hand thrown. The kunai was parried to Kotsuzui's left as it would rattle across the ground now behind him. At about 7 meters out the Kage threw yet another kunai at the Chuunin, this one aimed for his leg. The time it took Xyxer to reach into his pouch was enough to inform the Kaguya of what were to come. Just like the previous kunai, the one was deflected. This time being deflected to his right as it too would rattle across the ground. 

Now having gained momentum and having reached his full speed, in no time Kotsuzui closed the remaining 5 meter distance to be within 2 meters of the invading Kage. During this Kotsuzui had picked up on another chakra signature that had arrived and made its way over to Risako's location. He didn't pay any attention to it, knowing it was an ally based on the direction it came from. Rather he hoped it was an ally. But if this person were, then why so late? Where were they when they were actually needed? Even at that Kotsuzui was in no place to be questioning anyone. He was right here and could still do nothing to protect Risako. He had nearly failed at the one task he had. Now all he could hope to do was fend this man off and hope Risako got the help she needed, assuming he could hold him off at all. 

Once reaching the two meters, Kotsuzui would proceed with the actions mentioned in the prior post (Lariat or Early Sacrifice) as well as keeping in mind the different attacks he may face during his attempt. Although now that Samehada was no longer in the man's possession, there were an array of different attacks that could now come at the Kaguya. As a result Kotsuzui paid close attention to the Mizukage's body watching for any movement or sign that'll hint at his next action.
