Re: Drown the Vanishing Thunder God (Xy, Rits, Kots)

The art of violence came naturally to the man that was born from the Mist. It had been a prerequisite for him becoming the head of the ANBU Corps in Old Kirigakure during his younger years, and it had served him faithfully on his road to Kageship. This world didn't understand how useful aggression could be when focused.. but Xyxer was fully aware. Some people succumb to your will immediately, others require an act to bend their knee, and the rest simply died. Nothing had hindered him. Nothing could stop him. Each attack lead into further options, and his honed aggression afforded him the ability to shape the world.
As the bulky blade of Samehada cracked into the arm of the girl, it sought to wrap it's hilt around her bicep which it did successfully before clinging to her body throughout the tumble she'd perform after the fall, draining her of the vital energy that was keeping her fighting spirit eager. This was all intentional.. He wanted Risako to witness the deaths that would unfold as a consequence of her village's actions; The decimation of any inkling of hope she held for Konoha's victory. Samehada remained attached via the hilt around her bicep, tied around roughly three times with the blade splaying itself over her lap and onto the ground.
It was unfortunate for the Kaguya that found himself preoccupied with the obvious kunai thrown towards him, that he didn't notice the one that had been obscured by his leader's body. So, the sleek, black metal cruised through the air once it missed it's mark of the leader towards another target that had been running from behind Risako, yet angled just enough for the kunai to hit him in the thigh. The flesh of the leg would serve as barely any impediment for the tool as it carved through the flesh of the boy like betrayal cut through the heart of the faithful. That in itself would be a shock, but the true state of shock would come soon after for the boy as blood would spew out from the large wound that had been left behind in the wake of the kunai with the boy's essence spitting out like a scene from a horror show. His femoral artery had been severed in his right leg, causing him to trip over during his dash towards the Mizukage due to the unplanned loss of his right leg, landing him roughly six meters from the Kage's position. If the wound was not healed, the boy would likely perish from this world, taken from his family be the storm that never relented.
Xyxer himself had noticed the distance closing between himself and another shinobi moving towards them.. a chakra he didn't recognise. Taking a few steps towards the sword that had found itself propped into the ground through the blade, his mind run along the possibilities of what to do. This was war, and sacrifices were required.. both sides knew that. His hand ran over the black hilt of the carbon mono-filament katana, pulling it out from the drowned earth. He spun the well-balanced blade around the back of his hand before catching the hilt once more, getting a feeling for the weight before he turned his eyes towards the boy that was on the floor from the wound. He spoke calmly, perhaps even irritatingly so, yet this was the best betrayal of the Kage's lack of feeling, "Stay down and perhaps I won't finish the job. Follow the lead of your Hokage." Whether the boy chose to abide to his advice was another question, but he had been warned about the peril that laid ahead if he strove to strike the leviathan that was willing to spare his life.
Around about now, the ANBU operative would have closed the distance to be 5 meters from the Hokage, to which the Mizukage would respond to by closing his shorter distance of 3 meters towards the leader. Just as Anri's hand reached out to grasp Xyxer's brother in arms which was roughly 2 feet away, the carbon blade of the Hokage would be plunged directly towards her bicep/tricep, intending to go straight through the flesh and into her heart unless she stopped her action against Samehada. Yet, if she did not, the blood of her ANBU bathing her in the price of war would serve as a faithful reminder to Risako should she ever ponder the might of Kirigakure.
Yet, of course, if she should still attempt to suck the Mizukage's large weapon into her dimension, the blade of Samehada would resist her attempts by sapping the chakra from the technique itself, as well as the girl upon touching it. However, Xyxer was not that callous of a man, he'd speak before the girl made the attempt to touch the blade.. perhaps Konoha didn't know it was rude to touch another man's blade (Totally ignoring the fact he was now using Risako's), "Don't touch Samehada, and I'll make your death quicker; To die in the servitude of your leader is a wonderful thing, I'm glad you're embracing it so openly." Yet, of course, even if she should stop her action of touching Samehada, Xyxer would simply still go for the jab of the sword into her abdomen. This was a war after all.

Quick as she may, she was unable to successfully press her palm upon Samehada in time without a blade being directed for her. Rather than halting her movements, she intentionally allows him to go for the jab to her abdomen--remaining unmoving. The same would be the case for her hand as well---it was near the Samehada, but it wouldn't come in contact with it. And thus as the blade manages to close in, she shifts, letting her body position itself so that his blow wouldn't perviate any vital organs; human anatomy was something a medic needed to know.
Once it perviates her frame, she shows no intent to yield. Instead she fires her right hand up, attempting to wrap her chakra-shrouded fingers upon the blade that's managed to thrust it's way through her, and seal it away while it's (hopefully) restricted from doing more damage with her hold. That was her plan--to let the hit land in exchange for having a better chance at sealing the blade away. Should he manage to react, well, that wasn't all the operative had intended. Her left hand fires up, yanking upon the hilt of the customary ANBU sword that's currently sheathed--with the sheath strapped upon her hip.
And as it slithers free from its containments, there's a prominent chirping, or maybe buzzing noise that resonates from the blade as it begins to rapidly vibrate, donning the Lightning affinity. In one wide-spanning, horizontal swing she attempts to slash into his body while parallel to his waist. While any pain that might come from the immensely sharpened blade would be numbed by the buzzing flow of electricity, that wouldn't necessarily mitigate the damage. Of course, he may've been wearing armor, but lets just say the weapon is fairly sharp; even moreso with the Battojutsu technique she's performed, the Quickdraw.
Naturally, the actions performed are done at their best and as swiftly as manageable in the clash of powers.
[Refunding the AP for Mystical Palm since I didn't have the opportunity to use it.]
[Deduction for Storage Displacement carried over to this round, if that's alright.]
[125 + 40 from Battojutsu: Quickdraw, increased in speed-boost as per jutsu empowerment.]
[Sharpness is fairly high, along with Strength behind it. I'll do the math and throw it at you if it's needed, though.]
[-20 AP on Battojutsu: Quickdraw]
[-20 AP on Lightning Release: Chakra Blade]

Kotsuzui let two things get in the way of his judgement. The first were his emotions. One could say he had been a little too excited to be facing off against a man such as the Mizukage. The Kaguya was always looking for a good fight even if it lead to his potential demise. The second thing to cloud his judgement was his immovable will to protect the Hokage, something he failed miserably at. He had been so preoccupied with getting to the Mizukage and stop him from finishing off the acting Hokage, he never even saw the kunai that had been thrown at the Hokage and dodged. He probably should have been a little more focused on his surroundings and not so single minded on reaching the Mizukage.
It happened so suddenly, almost as though the kunai came out of no where. Just as Kotsuzui's right foot planted itself onto the ground, he felt a slicing pain on the inside of his thigh. With a slight grunt from the pain Kotsuzui's right leg completely gave out as he collapsed to the soaked ground and slid a few feet before coming to a halt in the mud. He had incidentally thrown his kunai away from himself while he went to break his fall, sending it rolling away in the mud a couple of meters from himself. Turning over onto his back while gritting his teeth, the Kaguya did his best to try and hide his pain but it would be obvious to anyone that he was in agony. His blood was pouring out of his leg to no end, staining his muddied clothes with the crimson of his blood. Immediately his placed his right hand atop of the open would and began pushing down onto it, Hoping the pressure would reduce the amount of blood loss. With his left hand he grabbed his white cloak and placed a part of it in between his teeth. With a single pull, a tore a piece of fabric off of his cloak and began to tie it tightly around his thigh just above the wound. He had no idea whether it would help of not, but it was worth a try. Kotsuzui proceeded to placing both hands atop the wound to increase the pressure, though all he could tell were that his hands were not soiled in blood.
The Kaguya looked up to the sight of the Mizukage standing no too far from him now wielding what seemed to be Risako's blade. The man spoke to him, telling him to stay down like his Hokage and he may spare his life. But all the Kaguya could do was look up at the man from his feeble position. There weren't many options of Kotsuzui in the first place. It was either he tried getting up to fight and he died by the hands of the Mizukage or he died from losing blood at a faster rate. Or he could stay where he was and put as much pressure as possible on the wound to hopefully prolong the blood loss. Hopefully until a medic came along. However now all the Kaguya could do was helplessly watch from the ground as an ANBU operative faced off against the Kage. This is the most useless and pathetic Kotsuzui has likely ever felt in his life.

A weight was being lifted from the mangled soul of Xyxer.. the burden of upholding civilization, the pressure of enabling mercy. With each injury he inflicted upon those that sought to defend themselves from the invaders, Xyxer found a release within himself. This was the true calling of the creature that nestled within. Not some petty discussion of politics over dinner with snobs, nor the gentle encouragement of younger shinobi to help them believe their lives are of worth.. but this; inflicting pain on those that had sunk his home village. He would never see his childhood home intact again, and here he stood before the dwindling flame of Konohagakure.. threatening to extinguish it's very light with his roaring storm. He'd bode his time, and now it was only fair that he got to be the harbinger of a new life, or lack thereof, for this pitiful village. Xyxer heard the sound of Kotsuzui's kunai splashing into the damp earth not too far from himself, roughly a meter or so.. had the boy been in the action of a throw before the fall? He'd have to ask later.
His predatory senses alerted him to the reaved sword's successful penetration of the ANBU, with the life essence of the tiger operative dripping down onto the features of Risako below.. clearly, they were not well trained when it came to melee. There was nothing that could prepare them for the finesse of Xyxer, that much he could confess himself, so perhaps it was just not as much to do with the inadequacy of their training, but rather how unmatched he truly was. Could anyone defeat him in his zone? He wasn't sure, but what he did become aware of was the girl's movement and in turn actions of her hands. One had forfeited the molestation of his sweet Samehada, and the other was moving towards her own sword, the hilt of which was on her hip. This would be more interesting than he initially believed it would be. The katana had now pierced through the flesh and tissue that had been in it's way, with the girl's storage displacing hand having a fair distance to move given how she was attempting to touch Samehada not too long prior.
As such, his actions would be rather simple in order to maintain the lead: The carbon blade would continue to slice through the girl's torso where it had pierced, moving in the form of a reverse loopy L from the right side of the girl's chest, intending to cut through her spine and then directly up into her head in the form of a rather grizzly kill, one not truly befitting of those that held the prestigious rank of ANBU. Given the distance of the girl's hand going for the sword, and the blade's constant angling that kept it moving upwards towards it's ultimate girl, she'd be unable to touch it during the action unless she found a way to close the gap quicker.
It was unlikely that Xyxer would have to defend himself from the katana strike given how she only starts the movement when Xyxer reacts, but let's not downplay anything in this battle. With the blade emerging from the girl's sheath admist the bright, cackling of electricity that lit up the dim area around them, Xyxer couldn't help but feel an innate.. anticipation. If the blade hit him, he'd likely lose the entire war purely from the sparks; they danced around his vision for a few moments, causing him a greater feeling of mortality than he had felt before in this very war. It was.. enthralling. His body had acted on it's own, as his free hand which had remained by his hip plunged down into his ninja pouch and revealed what appeared to be an ordinary kunai, yet with wire attached around the hilt. A loop of the wire remained around his hand loosely and harmlessly as he moved Executioner's Finesse into the path of the chirping blade to intercept it; his own kunai now coating itself with his own neutral chakra in order to battle the girl's katana. If she changed the path of the blade, he'd continue to move the kunai in order to oppose it with the infusion of chakra keeping the blade away from him, avoiding the dangerous touch of the lightning and neutralizing the blade from being used as a conductor due to his own chakra. Yet, if the blades were to connect, a slight notch would appear in Executioner's Finesse as it struggled to handle the enhanced sharpness of the opposing blade, yet it wouldn't break anytime soon.
Yet of course, before the blades were to connect Xyxer found it fitting that he spoke once more, after all, it could be the first and only time either of them spoke again, "Where's your god now? Where's Viper Uchiha?" Xyxer would inquire, half in jest. Yet, if truth be told.. he had expected him. The man that had brought the ruin was the fitting target for the male's vengeance, yet he hadn't made a single show. What kind of a god didn't show up to the destruction of those that worship him?

There's a distinct smirk beneath the mask covering her face. 'So you're going with that.' The female muses to herself, allowing her chakra to surge in the region that he's intending to move the weapon. In less than a blink of an eye, the weapon's very wielding is threatened by it's very contact with her physical form; the space around it beginning to be distorted and inverted as it's intended to be sealed away.
"Right here with me."
If she'd succeeded to retrieve the Chakra Filament Sword through the technique's range being her body, she'd fire her wielding arm up in ascension, and in a brief, lateral curve of her swing, attempt to bring the electrified blade down to cleave into his shoulder and into his torso. All in all, this was her effort to counteract the Executioner's Finesse removed from Xyxer's person to block her incoming attack.
If using her body as Storage Displacement's range wasn't possible, her method of attack would have to shift. Her hand moves, and her fingers sequence themselves into the Ram handseal. Chakra rushes through her and she fires back for the time being, summoning a smoke bomb from the dimensional pockets of her cloak. Once it hits the ground, the smoke bellows out at 50 Speed, intended to cloud one of the man's senses; sight. Before that, though, he'd see an extra method done to do that as she uses her cloak to blend in with her environment, and simultaneously suppress her chakra with her uniform.
Flames composed of chakra light up her fingertips, and with those flames she slips her digits past her cut armor, slipping her fingers beneath it to jab into her chest. There's an odd sensation that crosses her very person, and before she knows it the searing pain of her wound has been alleviated; that's if she isn't interrupted. There's finally an answer, as she maintains the flowing of lightning into her weapon, using her free hand to press her fingertip against the innard of her ear, releasing a harmless sonar wave intended to mark his person from the distance between them, 15 meters.
She speeds toward him, one last step resonating before her frame goes silent, blending in with her surroundings. She advances, allowing the blood constantly dripping from her wound to slowly but surely cloud his sense of scent on her definitive person. The only indication of her position is the trail of blood, but even then it grows bigger as she makes an effort to dart across the surroundings in an unprecedented mannerism. And in the midst of this, with a whip of her arm she sends her weapon zooming forth at high speeds, forming five handseals and 'marking' it before it passes the 10 meter radius of her next move.
225 Speed on Body Flicker if it was performed
175 Speed on the ANBU Sword if it's thrown
-1 for Sharingan Tomoe 3
-5 for Body Replacement (the five handseals done in anticipation in my second last paragraph. Target is the ANBU Sword).
-20 on Storage Displacement retrieval of the filament sword, if it successfully got the blade due to Storage Displacement's Self-range.
-5 on maintenance of Lightning Release: Chakra Blade
OR
-10 on Body Flicker.
-10 for Sound Absorption on the ANBU Cloak.
-10 on ANBU Uniform's Suppression Seals
-10 on Tiger Mask's third ability "You Can't See Me".
-5 to remove 1x Smoke Bomb from ANBU Cloak dimensional pockets.
-15 on Chakra Anesthetic
-35 AP if I got the filament sword. -75 if I didn't and had to Body Flicker and what not.
545 AP or 500 AP remaining.
[OOC Note: Sorry for this jumbled mess of a post. I'm unsure of the legitimacy of that use of Storage Displacement, so I sort of provided an alternative if that's okay (SD should get looked over after this ends, just my two cents). The Range on it says Self as opposed to Touch.. so I'm just sort of going by that. As per your request I won't skip you. Though since you said you'll be back on Sunday you'll probably be back before the normal time before a skip can even be attempted. Enjoy your brief hiatus.]

[An edit was offered, I really must insist you take the offer]
Due to Anri skipping the detail on when exactly she attempts to defend herself from the attack made on her, it can be assumed to be later than would actually save her. If only she had detailed it out a bit more. As such, the cold, sleek carbon of the blade found itself severing her spinal cord before she can finish the ram hand seal; the paralysis of the attack setting in almost immediately after as she was unable to send any electrical impulses to the rest of her body at this point, causing her attacks to fall through without harming the Mizukage. Given how she can no longer defend herself, the girl's body collapses through the refined blade's edge, slicing cleanly through her sternum and skull.
[Claiming Anri's death if she doesn't reconsider the offer to edit; If she doesn't, I'll edit to make the kill fancier]

[Anri refused the edit, proceeding with the topic]
Continuing the incision that the Hokage's blade had inflicted on its own subordinate, the surprisingly light sword carried on through the flesh of the ANBU as if it was cutting through butter that had been dyed red. The girl's essence dripped from her body and onto the unmoving form of her valiant leader beneath her. Would she know it was the blood of servitude that cloaked her like a widow's veil?
The weapon felt the minor resistance of the girl's spinal column impeding its path, but it did little to actually halt the attack as it cut clean through the bone with the swift motion. Anri's arms went limp almost immediately and it would be clear to all that the battle was over for these two; ANBU had only one purpose in their life, and this one had fulfilled hers to the best of her ability. That was something that even Xyxer could respect, despite his distaste for the village she was affiliated with.
From inside his head came a peculiar voice, only audible to himself, "This isn't the first time you've done this." Gyuki stated, watching the scene unfold before its glassy eyes. It wasn't the kill that had unnerved the Bijuu, but something else entirely about the construction of the kill. The demon had lurked within the heart of many and felt their emotions throughout their deeds.. their deliberation on foul, yet appropriate actions.. their guilt. Yet there wasn't a shred of that here. Any semblance of the humanity within Xyxer left when he entered combat, and he truly became the Abysswalker; treading the murky depths of morality and conscience.
With the final movement of the kill, Xyxer altered the path of the sword so that it'd simply cut out from her neck and leave Anri bisected instead of ruining her lovely mask. Xyxer heard that they enjoy reusing the masks of their fallen ANBU to give the impression that they never truly die.. and who was he to devoid them of such a precious item? With the girl's top half sliding down from the clean cut, Xyxer followed the move with another slice towards her neck in order to fully remove the head from the cascading lump of meat that was descending towards the defeated Kage. The head, however, would remain with the Mizukage so he could make a point. His free hand grasped the black locks of hair, locking them into a tightly closed fist so he could carry the ANBU's shame with him.
The body had now fallen entirely onto Risako and Samehada, covering them both with her weapon falling just an inch from the head of Risako, missing Xyxer entirely on its descent. Her items were now his by the rule of the land. Killer's keepers. Moving the flat of the carbon monofilament blade towards the arm of Risako, he'd draw the flat of the blade against the cloth for both sides of the sword so that he could remove the blood that stained it, before he proceeded to walk over towards the male that was currently busy bleeding out on the floor while others died all around him. Stopping roughly 2 meters in front of him, Xyxer would crouch down, allowing Anri's head to dangle and rotate with the breeze, the eyes behind the undying tiger mask cold. "Do you want to die for your village?" Xyxer inquired towards the boy that continued to bleed profusely, his voice still as calm as it had been when he demanded the Hokage kneel before him, he followed up, "Why hasnt your medic come to save you?"

Continuing to put pressure on his open wound trying to stop the blood from escaping his leg to the best of his abilities, Kotsuzui watched helplessly as the Kage and ANBU fought. The Mizukage struck first. It seemed like a relatively easy attack to evade, a mere stab with the current blade he was holding. However the ANBU decided to take the hit as the blade pierced through her flesh. Kotsuzui did not understand why the operative did not simply evade the attack? Maybe it was a tactic to make sure the Mizukage stayed within range for some plan of action the ANBU had laid out in their head. What ever it was could have worked had the ANBU been a little faster, but unfortunately her speed matched that of the Kage. With the Kage's blade already piercing the operative, all it took was one clean cleave with the sword and the life of the ANBU had been taken.
Things were beginning to look extremely bleak now, the storm slowly but surely washing away the last of a withering flame. Not only had Xyxer killed what seemed to be the last line of defense in mere seconds, but he now shamed the village by decapitating the ANBU and holding her head for all to see. Not stopping there, he cleaned the ANBU's blood on the clothing of Risako. "Piece of shit" Kotsuzui spoke in his head as his eyes locked onto the Mizukage who had now turned to face him. The man knew he had the battle in the palm of his hand and decided it was time to antagonize those remaining. It also seemed like he wasn't done with the incapacitated Kaguya.
The Mizukage approached, stopping just two meters from the Kaguya as he crouched down with the swinging head in hand. The ANBU had done her job admirably, acting as the shield to the village and defending their Kage with her life. Yet the Mizukage decided to disrespect her and the village. This invader was truly a vile creature who needed to be put down. But how? He had taken out three shinobi in a matter of minutes without even breaking a sweat. To make matters worse, Kotsuzui's leg began to tingle, the beginning stages of his leg going numb. It was only a matter of time before his whole body began feeling the effects of the blood loss. The Kage wasn't attacking yet. Maybe he enjoyed this game he was playing and didn't want it to end right away.
"If it means I get to kill you..." Kotsuzui began, a sly grin spreading across his lips, "any day". Death was inevitable at this point, so why not go out with a smile on your face? But instead of death, it seemed Kotsuzui was right to assume that the Mizukage wanted this game to go on a little longer. Kotsuzui's eye's shifted from the Mizukage over to the direction of Hikari and Salzem. While on his ass trying to stop the bleeding, he had been able to observe one of the Kiri nin take out two Konoha nin. But before he had done so, the blonde haired Konoha nin had healed both of Salzem's legs while also healing the Kiri nin before being knocked out. "She's occupied" was all he said, but if the Mizukage followed his line of sight, he would find Konoha's medic. Was that a smart move? Who's to say the Mizukage would even allow the medic to heal Kotsuzui? He may simply take her life to prevent others from being healed. But it was a risk he was willing to take, rather it was a risk he had to take. Maybe it was selfish of the Kaguya, but if it provided him with the opportunity to fight this monster, he couldn't pass up on it.

The gushing boy didn't provide much entertainment with his words, to Xyxer it was surprisingly akin to parleying with an animal at the zoo. The only difference this time was that no glass barrier would protect one from the other, and hopefully with less physical excrement being thrown around. His eyes glossed over the Kaguya that desired his death, a quiet laugh echoing from within the armour. "You're talking a big game for someone that was one of the first to kneel. Your people don't learn very well, but that's okay. I have time." Xyxer paused to follow the male's eyes as he gazed over at an unconscious duo, before he continued on with a slight nod towards his wound, "You on the other hand? You should be more careful where you run in a war zone."
With that, Xyxer would rise back into a standing position, moving the tip of the carbon blade towards the hands that overlapped on the male's thigh injury. "You don't have much longer to live. Hold this for me, will you?" Xyxer mocked, pressing the blade slowly through the tissue and marrow, and straight back through the leg so that it could lodge into the ground and keep him there with it. After doing that, the dangling head of the defeated ANBU would have it's hair tied around the bottom part of Samehada's sash, forming a knot to keep the head dangling at roughly thigh level on Xyxer. Of course, if Kotsuzui refused to accept the slow and deliberate impalement, then Xyxer would not fetch the medic at all, and would instead wait for him to bleed out before him.
Given that Kotsuzui did not resist, he'd now start moving towards the girl that had been a victim of her kindness. Very few people dared to tread across his path as he made his way across the battlefield, leaving three broken bodies behind him, but the tiny margin that did were soon thrown out of the way and into one another so that he wasn't interrupted too much. Once he reached the ground where the two lay together, the cold grasp of the Abysswalker would find it's way to the nape of the girl, locking around the back of her neck before he started to walk back towards the trio he'd unceremoniously abandoned on the battlefield. Hikari would be hoisted from the ground for the most part, albeit his toes would still scrape the muddy earth as they tread back to the final resting place of one ANBU.
Once they were back before the trio, Xyxer would drop the girl down next to Kotsuzui, exchanging his grasp on the girl for the hilt of the katana that kept the boy in his place. Removing the sword form it's temporary flesh sheath, Xyxer would now move the flat of the blade towards the shoulder of Kotsuzui, wiping his own blood onto him with both sides unless he'd be interrupted, in which case he'd stop the healing of the boy. If Hikari hadn't awoken from her peaceful slumber in the nightmarish war, she'd find the boot of Xyxer pushing into her arm as the rain from above crashed on her porcelain features. Regardless, Xyxer would speak to both Kotsuzui and Hikari as he walked back towards the defeated body of Risako and the defeated, "With how much blood you're losing, you don't have much longer left." Xyxer repeated, not believing the boy would recall what he said earlier due to the sheer volume of blood that he'd lost. Granted, he'd probably repeat it regardless because people from Konoha didn't listen very well, "Wake her up from her stupor, people aren't normally.. 'with it' after they're knocked out." The Mizukage instructed, crouching down next to the body of Risako once more before he plunged his hand onto the sheath she concealed on her person for the sword. Once he found it upon her hip, he'd remove it from her and stand back up from the scene of the disaster, attaching the sheath to his own hip before plunging the blade back down into it.
At this point, he'd now turn back towards the two before speaking again, "What're your names? I'm Xyxer Gyojin." He declared towards them with a grin under his helmet, before he refocused his gaze onto the healer, gesturing one hand towards his side, "Once you're finished healing the boy, you'll sit here, away from Risako, with your hand holding the hilt of Samehada. You won't let go, and you will perhaps see the end of this day." He offered, before taking a few steps towards Kotsuzui should he still be feeling the confidence that a light head afforded him, "If you're still feeling queasy from the loss of blood, we can wait a few moments for you to gather your wits about you." Xyxer suggested, the blood from the ANBU still sprayed across the front of his armour regardless of how much the rain tried to wash it away.

Re: Drown the Vanishing Thunder God (Xy, Rits, Kots)
Tue Oct 10, 2017 2:46 am
Fate worked in mysterious ways in the young kunoichi’s life, almost as if her desire to heal people had sprouted into action while she remained an unconscious form near her brother. Deep within the dark abyss she slumbered in, she felt a cold chill run across her body as something cool touched her drenched skin, while her body almost immediately afterwards began to feel lighter, like a feather drifting in the wind.
Had she died by the hand’s of the kiri shinobi, and was being lifted to the afterlife? Was this her first welcoming to death’s door? And had Salzem’s faced the same tragic end?
Hikari stirred awake shortly after being picked up off the ground by a cold armored glove around the back of her neck, almost choking her if he had gripped any tighter. She blinked slowly awake, groggy from spiraling into unconsciousness and confused as to what was going on. The first thing she noted was that she was being carried towards what appeared to be the Hokage, with a strange spiky sword encasing her body in a paralytic like hold, and a young man with a blade through his leg, blood pooling underneath his wound. She quickly recognized his immediate condition, her knowledge as a medical-nin giving her the insight that he wouldn’t last much longer from all the blood he lost. Ten more minutes and he would be a goner, the possibility of his leg needing to be amputated exponentially high if he reached the aforementioned time limit.
The second thing she noted as she slightly twisted her head to analyze her surroundings was the man carrying her, whom she could see through her peripheral vision. She tried to give no indication of her shock away as she turned to face forwards once more, her heart race picking up speed and the blood in her face slowly draining. If she did so much as irritate the man whose fingers were currently wrapped around her airpipe, she could easily cease to exist within moments. Hikari inwardly panicked at what to do, her mind racing a thousand thoughts per minute. What was he going to do to her? Would she survive this encounter with a man from the legendary Bloody Mist, or would her name be among the list of fallen shinobi today, as the dangling masked head of the female far in front of her had been?
Then she wondered to herself why the man had somewhat carried her when he could have dragged her across the muddy scenery with less effort, although it didn’t much to carry her petite, 95 pound body, especially since she was quite short (but proportionality correct) at 4’9. She lifted her feet ever so slightly off the ground, to keep from damaging her toes or her high heeled ninja boots as they had been pulled across the ground.
Either way, it didn’t take long for his wide strides to make it back to the two remaining shinobi. Hikari knew not who the pink haired mohawk man was, although she did remember him from when they were kneeling for he had been beside Salzem. Speaking of whom, Hikari hoped he would be alright without her to protect him. She was unable to protest leaving him alone as she had been unconscious for the beginning of their short journey, and she knew he would have told her to keep quiet anyways as she was in the presence of the enemies leader. It pained her to separate from him as he was in his weakened state, lying unconscious, for the fear he could be attacked while unaware of what was taking place around him. Her life was immediately on the line, and with her hamstrings still severed, she could no longer escape. Just like with the previous Kiri man, Hikari would have to obey his orders, to a reasonable degree that is, if she wanted to make it out of there alive with the most Konoha shinobi as possible. Any wrong move on her part could cost the lives of others, and she was not prepared to carry the weight of their deaths on her shoulders.
The mizukage roughly dropped her to the ground beside the injured man, removing the katana from his leg and cleaning it off with the boys clothes, soaking them in his own scarlet blood. It was evident to even the mizukage that the Konoha nin was losing strength every minute as he slowly bled out. Hikari had missed quite a bit while she was encountering the cold Kiri nin and was unconscious. Then the mizukage walked over to the weakened Hokage, reaching over to her to grasp the sheath that hung at her side. He plucked it from its rest by her side, placing the sheath on his own hip before he sheathed the katana that moments ago was stuck deep within flesh.
In a sudden twist of events, the mizukage turned back towards the two of them and introduced himself, a grin upon his visage as he spoke. Hikari, not being one for impoliteness, softly replied back to him in her normal, eloquent way of speaking, “I am Hikari Hyuuga, and it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Lord Mizukage.” Was it weird of her to be so formal to an enemy? No, if she had been anyone else then yes it would be, but Hikari always tried her best to be as polite as possible, and she tried to see the good in people no matter what. Thus, even if he were an enemy, he still deserved her respect, his title of kage also deemed him worthy of respect and honor even from an enemy. Hikari was prepared for the mizukage to laugh at her politeness, as he had so easily mocked the blonde Jounin when she had honorably stood up against his army and himself.
His next order for her was to heal the ninja beside her, and after she had healed him she was to make her way to the area he directed her towards. She was to sit away from the Lady Hokage, whose name she found out was Risako, but she was to place her hand on the hilt of the blade he wielded, as he gave it an unusual name of Samehada. Right after he gave the first set of instructions to heal the boy, she immediately made the ox and tiger hand signs, focusing her medical chakra to her palms and watching as they enveloped in a warm blue hue. She then gently placed her hands on his leg wound, stimulating the tissue and nerves in his body to accelerate his natural healing process.
While Hikari was healing the young shinobi, whose name she would mostly likely hear unless he ignored the mizukage’s question, the latter person stepped towards the young man, offering for him to take a few moments to catch himself while he recovered from his blood loss. Hikari thought it was not a good idea for the man to fight in his condition, his body weak from the amount of blood taken out of him, although she would not voice her opinion aloud in fear of the retaliation she might face.
After a few more moments, potentially enough time for the young man to accept the mizukage’s offer or to reject it and maybe converse a little about it, the Hyuuga released her medical jutsu as his leg was whole again, his tendons and nerves working just as new. With ehr main task done, Hikari obediently followed the next orders of the mizukage, unless interrupted at any point that is. She quickly carried herself with her arms over to the specified spot, as her strength would be more than enough to propel her forward rapidly so she did not have to humiliate herself by crawling. Once enough distance apart from the hokage, she outstretched her hand, gently setting it on top of the brown or tan colored hilt of the blade. The instant her palm touched the hilt she felt something begin to zap away her chakra, slowly beginning to drain her of her strength and power. It made sense to Hikari now why the hokage was unable to do anything, the strange new sword had been preventing her from using her jutsu as it sucked away her chakra.
Thus the stage was set and the waiting game began. What would happen between the Konoha nin and the mizukage? Would they fight to the death, or would the Konoha nin come to his wits and realize he was too injured to fight in his current condition? Speaking of wounds, Hikari noted the condition of her own bloody injuries, judging based on her medical knowledge that it would be an hour or so before she began to feel the effects of blood lost, if she had not been out for as long as she thought she had been. So for the moment she kept as much pressure on her hamstrings as she possible could with her calves, hoping the skin to skin contact might be able to alleviate some of the blood loss to help her chances of staying conscious for even longer than she had previously predicted.
