Re: Drown the Vanishing Thunder God (Xy, Rits, Kots)

The Mizukage replied to the Kaguya speaking from behind his helmet, reminding him that he had been one of the first to kneel. "Orders are orders" Kotsuzui replied to the Kage. He was told to kneel by their acting Hokage Risako, so he followed her orders. "Sorry we can't all be savages." The Kage brought up the fact Kotsuzui should look where he was running, and to that the Kaguya didn't really have anything to say. He was right. Had Kotsuzui simply been more aware of his surroundings he wouldn't be in his current predicament, about to die from blood loss. The man stood as Kotsuzui's eyes followed him all the way up. Was he planning on going to retrieve their medic nin, or was he going to kill her? The next few moments were completely lost to the Kaguya as Xyxer pass his weapon through both his hands, back into the open wound through the leg and into the ground. It took everything he had not to pass out right then and there. Grinding his teeth, the Kaguya let out a muffled yell of agony as the blade slowly passed through him.
The addition of the pain and increase in blood loss added to the amount of blood Kotsuzui had already lost began taking it's toll on his body. The feeling in his right leg had nearly gone away as the numbing sensation continually increased. He simultaneously felt both cold and hot as his body began going into a frenzy. He hardly had the strength to hold himself up, simply hunched over about to fall on his side if it weren't for the blade holding him down. His heart began beating faster and faster in an attempt to get blood to his leg which only made matters worse. His vision began to blur more and more with every passing moment. His thoughts began slipping away from him. The moment Xyxer had walked away and gone to retrieve Hikari, Kotsuzui started forgetting what was even happening around him. The sounds of battle all around him went unheard, his fellow shinobi who he needed to fight side by side with and protect were forgotten. He was falling into what seemed to be the abyss.
When the Mizukage arrived, he tossed a blonde female beside Kotsuzui who he recognized, but could not remember who she was. He was in a state of mass confusion and was completely lost to everything around him with the exception of one thing, the Mizukage. Even in his state of confusion, he would not forget who the Mizukage was. The blade exiting his body sent another surge of pain through his body. One second the pain sent a sudden jolt across his entire body waking him up for a brief moment, the next second he nearly passed out from the immense amount of pain he was going through. The Kaguya paid no mind to the blade being cleaned on his own cloak, rather it simply hadn't registered to him with his mind slipping so quickly. His eyes sluggishly looked up at Hikari, barely having enough strength to hold his head up an face her as she created an aura around her hands and placed them over his gaping wound.
"Xyxer Gyojin... Hikari Hyuuga" Kotsuzui repeated to himself as the names rang back and forth through his mind. It took him a brief moment before he would give his name. When the question was asked Kotsuzui was still in his state of confusion. It wasn't until Hikari began healing him and his mind began coming back to him did he realized Xyxer had asked for their names. "Kotsuzui... Kaguya..." he uttered, struggling with the simple task of giving his name. A few moments later, what felt like an eternity to the Kaguya, Hikari had finished healing his leg and hand wounds, his hands having been over his leg wound thus both being healed simultaneously. Still helplessly sitting there, he watched Hikari carry herself over to Risako and take hold of the sword surrounding her. He wasn't entirely sure what was going on as he never registered the orders that had been given to Hikari to do so.
However now his mind slowly began coming back to him. His leg simultaneously tingled and ached with pain as blood began to course through his veins yet again. But the process was agonizingly slow, too slow for the Kaguya's liking. He looked back up at the man named Xyxer as he offered the Kaguya a few moments if needed to gather his wits. Kotsuzui did not want to admit he needed a few more moments. He was healed now, he would do what needed to be done now. Placing both hands into the mud and using his one working leg, Kotsuzui began the proceed of pushing himself back to a standing position. But his strength had not come back to him yet, and to make matters worse he was extremely light headed. The moment his hands left the ground, the combination of a lack of strength and a spinning head dropped the Kaguya back down onto his left knee. It was evident he was going to need more time, but how much more? A few minutes, an hour, a day? It was impossible to tell with the amount of blood he had lost. Looking up at the Mizukage, Kotsuzui just noticed his vision was still slightly blurred. All he could do was grit his teeth. Would this monster truly give Kotsuzui some time to gather himself if such a thing was possible, or would boredom get the best of him and he'd simply end the teenage shinobi? The only thing he could do now was stall.
"Why are you doing this?" Kotsuzui asked Xyxer as he raised his upper body from the somewhat kneeling position he was currently in as he did his best not to lose balance. No longer having the usual grin on his face, Kotsuzui simply looked at the man with an unknowingly stern expression. What else was there to do if they were truly to wait a few moments than to converse?

Something was made abundantly clear to the bloodthirsty man, this boy Kotsuzui believed himself superior to Xyxer.. solely because of the village he hailed from. To have the audacity to proclaim himself not a savage indicated that the Mizukage was one himself. This attitude.. it infuriated him. He was going to bring a medic to save this pitiful life, and yet he continued to harbour some notion of a fire within him.. but it wasn't a fire of pride, nor determination. The flame that burned within Kotsuzui was one of birthright and supremacy. He'd been protected within this little village, raised to believe all of the foul words spoken of foreign villages and he listened like a lamb. What kind of a lamb would bleat it's call before the shark that swam before it in the water? Probably one with a pink mohawk.
The girl, however, provided some contrast to the petulant child that she was tasked to save, to which Xyxer nodded his head towards her to show acknowledgement of her words. Only two individuals within this stained village had some modicum of manners, the rest were scampering insects that couldn't realize the scythe that fell before them. Their egos had never been punished by their lenient teachers and failed forefathers. Thankfully, Xyxer was here to change that. There would be consequences for words spoken, and only blood could pay the debt that Kotusuzui had found himself owing.
Thankfully, the girl was smart enough to follow through with Xyxer's wishes as she made her way towards the sword, even going so far as to hold the hilt of the blade just as she was instructed. Finally, someone in the village wasn't suicidal. This had come as a surprise. He had expected more from the village that many looked up to. When others looked upon this once great village they saw a great deal of people that cared for one another, embracing morality and striving for greatness.. yet Xyxer could only see dim flickers of light that were rapidly being dampened by the storm that raged. Yet, when things are just starting to look up for the Mizukage, something has to ruin it.
It was Kotsuzui once again, kneeling before him in what appeared to be either pain or exhaustion, neither of which mattered to Xyxer. He saw only weakness, and heard only whimpers. His question earned a faint, almost silent laugh to which he'd walk towards Kotsuzui some more, the head on his sash swinging freely in the wind with her jet black hair hiding the pale eyes beneath the mask. "Don't ask stupid questions, Kotsuzui. Regardless of my reasoning for coming here, it doesn't change what's happening. Would the death of your friends and family suddenly be less hurtful if I was doing it for a just cause rather than pure spite?" Xyxer spoke plainly, not bothering to delve too much into what he considered a poor attempt to buy time, despite him having offered it, "Spare me your pathetic dribbling. Tell me, would you prefer we wait for the rain to stop, while your friends and classmates are slaughtered all around you?" Xyxer had started to mock the male, having grown tired almost immediately. Any shinobi from Kirigakure would have fought, even whilst injured.. yet children of Konoha had to sleep it off rather than rubbing dirt in the wound. If Xyxer had any compass at all, he'd probably be feeling pity at this point.

The Kaguya watched from his kneeling position as Xyxer approached him. It was hard to avoid making eye contact with the swinging head of the recently killed ANBU, a reminder to Kotsuzui who this man really was but also what he was capable of. The kid had gotten himself into quite the predicament. However he did his best to keep his gaze fixed upon the helmet concealing the Kage's visage. The man granted Kotsuzui's attempt at trying to give himself more time, the tingling sensation in his right leg spreading from the hip down the his ankle. Don't ask stupid questions... the man was right. It was a pretty useless question to ask as the answer to it wouldn't change what was happening. Kotsuzui simply wanted to know if there in fact was a reason to them coming to Konoha. It would have separated them from being savages as he called the Kage, or people with purpose. There was no questioning this man's power, maybe he was just out here to prove the strength of his nation? Perhaps Konoha had once done something to him before Kotsuzui's time which would in fact mean he was doing this out of pure spite.
"Children should not have to suffer from the acts of their ancestors" spoke the Kaguya. He had a feeling no matter what he said now, nothing would change. There was no way to stop the fighting and killing, but he felt the need to speak his mind nonetheless. The way Xyxer spoke, the phrasing of his words, Kotsuzui had a hunch he was here to get revenge for Konoha's past actions. Whatever they were, Kotsuzui was unaware. Maybe he should have paid more attention in the academy. He went on talking, basically giving Kotsuzui two options. Wait while everyone around him died, or stand and fight now. It was pretty clear he was mocking Kotsuzui for not standing right now. The only choice he needed to make was also clear. He couldn't sit around doing nothing, even if he stood no chance. He had to do something.
Kotsuzui had a brief look around, his eyes swinging side to side. First he glanced over to Risako who he had failed to protect. Now she was incapacitated, the sword with the name Samehada basically eating her. He looked over to Hikari who had healed his wounds moments ago now being forced to hold onto Samehada. That sword must be the reason Risako was incapable of doing anything, why else would Xyxer force Hikari to take hold of it? Because of him the life of two Konoha ninja were put in immediate danger. His eye's shifted over to Salzem, someone he had only met a number of times and seen fight in the Jounin exams was now laying on the ground. His chakra signature was feint but alive, however he was still someone Kotsuzui failed to protect. Then he glanced over at the village, flames raging on as they engulfed it and turned it too ash destroying his home. Kotsuzui could only wonder how Kisuke was doing, his one true friend. Hopefully his situation wasn't as bleak as this one.
Gingerly, the Kaguya pushed off of his left leg using everything he had to keep balance. With feeling slowly creeping its way back into his right leg, the moment he stood up on both feet he felt a surge of pain run up his recently injured limb. However he took the pain in, using everything he had to keep it in while maintaining his balance due to still being a little light headed. He took a very quick moment for himself, letting the rain fall upon himself and simply enjoying it. This could be the last time he ever felt rain, and to be honest it felt nice. "Maybe you're not the man I think you are Xyxer" Kotsuzui spoke, referring to calling him a savage. Xyxer did retrieve their medic to heal him, and hasn't killed either Risako or Hikari. Maybe he was a just man, or maybe he simply enjoyed this game of his. "Perhaps under better circumstances I may have been able to know you. But this is not one of those moments." Having looked around at his fellow ninja and seen what was happening, Kotsuzui could no longer stand doing nothing. He was ready to face the Beast ahead of him if need be and die fighting for what mattered to him. "You had me healed for a reason and I still haven't figured out why... probably never will. But if you wanna dance then let's make this a dance to remember, Xyxer Gyojin" as his usual sly grin slipped its way back across his face. If there were anyway to die, it was to go out doing what you enjoyed most.

As Kotsuzui started to speak once more, the void that was Xyxer's visage remained focused on him and him alone at this point in time. Most would feel the weight of fear on their shoulders when catching sight of the monstrosity that was the Abysswalker, even moreso when fighting against him, yet this seemed to be absent on the face of Kotsuzui. In fact, he uttered a string of words that had been on his mind at the beginning of his voyage to the wretched land of fire. The belief that underlings should not suffer due to the actions of those that had power over them. Hearing it from another person's mouth enabled Xyxer to finally understand that it was trivial. It was the losing side that opted for the suggestion of not having to suffer due to their past actions once their might in the world of shinobi had dwindled, and as far as the Mizukage could see.. the might of Konohagakure had fell to levels that he didn't even believe possible with a once great nation. Their reach had once been so vast that their very flame scorched the borders of the known world.. and all that remained were these people. Never trialed, never put through their paces.. never burnt.
Not too long after, Kotsuzui found the ability to force himself to his feet and stand before the figurehead of Kirigakure. From the grimace on his features, he could tell that the boy was in pain from doing such an action. Were Konohagakure's medics really so.. inept? It was perhaps somewhat unfortunate for the male, given that this may be the one of the final moments he spent breathing in the world. What a sorry death it would be.. witnessing the destruction of your home village and the subduing of your leader, all because of your weakness. Perhaps that would not be how the Kaguya's story ended.
Once again the boy spoke, drawing the attention of the veiled demon before him. The boy was wrong. Xyxer Gyojin was an incarnation of savagery bundled in flesh and a suit of skin that almost gave the allusion to being a real person. Yet, one look within his eyes would be able to see through the facade of humanity. No living creature could possess such grim, dead eyes.. yet the Abysswalker did. They helped him see openings that would cause more bodies to fall and crack under his feet. The larger the pile, the more satisfied the predator.
Kotsuzui had finished speaking around about this point, and the metal skin of Xyxer continued to defend him from the water that drowned the battleground: Small rivers of crimson drift from one corpse to the other, weapons were scattered across the large field and many limbs had been removed. It was then that Xyxer started to understand. This armour that clung to his body wasn't just for mere protection.. it was to serve for something greater. Just as a caterpillar would encase itself within a cocoon and change, so too would Xyxer. This was why Xyxer thirsted for battle.. it was the key for him. Slowly, the metallic hide dissipated from the body of the male to reveal the same male from the start, yet there was nothing evident on his features. He made no attempt to feign happiness, no expression of excitement, nor anything else that he pretended to feel. The monster had shed it's cocoon for this battle, and the demon's lips parted briefly to provide advice for Kotsuzui, "There's no honour in killing a wounded animal." With that being said, Xyxer's hand shifted onto the hilt of the carbon monofilament blade that he sheathed moments ago, drawing it out from the plain sheath he had retrieved from one of his quarries. Once the full length of the blade had been exposed, it was plunged down into the ground at the side of Xyxer, roughly 4 inches deep so that it didn't move easily despite the drenched soil. He spoke once more, "Here's your chance. Take it."
The Leviathan strode towards the defiant male that stood before him, seemingly unaffected by the rain that fell like the ashes and rubble within the village. His form didn't become slick from the downpour, nor did his clothing. The chips of ice that nestled within his skull remained focused on Kotsuzui as he neared him, his breathing as calm as it would be if he had simply been talking to a friend moments before. If Kotsuzui was to allow Xyxer within striking distance, he'd throw a left jab towards his head, his feet light and his legs slightly wider than shoulder width apart. The jab was the bait, and it was time to see how the male would respond. Would he continue to be the prey, or would he in turn become the beast?

If his words reached Xyxer or not, it did not matter. As Kotsuzui had suspected, nothing was going to sway the man. Confrontation was inevitable. Deep down, for some deranged reason, it's what Kotsuzui wanted. It seemed the Mizukage was ready to dance. However before he made a move, the armor surrounding his body and protecting him began to disappear, revealing the true monster beneath. His facial features were very stoic, showing little to no sign of emotion at all. Why would he remove his armor? Keeping it would make the fight more difficult for the Kaguya. Perhaps he wanted the young Konoha ninja to see the man in everything that he was before Kotsuzui had his life taken away by him. Maybe it was simply an attempt at evening the playing field. Or perhaps the armor was actually used to contain the Monster's power, a seal of some sort. By shedding his armor he unleashed his true.. full power. Whatever it was, Kotsuzui could feel the adrenaline rushing through his body. Any sane person would be fearful for their life at this moment, but Kotsuzui was not that person. If anything, getting to actually see who he was about to fight only made things more interesting for the Kaguya. As if facing off against a blood thirsty Kage wasn't enough.
Kotsuzui got his answer as to why Xyxer had him healed. "At least he's got honor" Kotsuzui thought to himself while the Kage removed the blade his stole from Risako and plunging it into the ground before speaking one final time. He really was shedding everything he had, a new man entirely. It was time for Kotsuzui to show Xyxer who he was, and not some meaningless distraction who gets taken out by stray projectiles. Here's your chance... chance to run? Or chance to prove yourself? Whatever he meant, Kotsuzui was going with the latter. Time for running was long gone. There was only one option, fight for the survival of your village or die trying.
Xyxer began making his approach, so calm it was almost as if he wasn't in the middle of a battle field surrounded by death. Had he seen so much of this during the span of his lifetime that he was now desensitized to it all? A true monster in the disguise of flesh. Almost as if the Leviathan that had shown up at the beginning of all of this were Kotsuzui's opponent. It was hard to believe one man could be such a monster on his own. But the man was nearing and time for thoughts was over, it was time for action. Subconsciously Kotsuzui's eye's drifted to the center of Xyxer's chest. Having trained with an Uchiha multiple times as well as facing off against three other Uchiha, Kotsuzui had conditioned himself to never make eye contact during combat. His knees bent slightly, spreading his legs just shoulder width apart to prepare for what would inevitably be a close quarters fight. When the two were within striking distance of one another, a punch was thrown towards Kotsuzui's face. It was clearly an attempt at testing the Kaguya's own skill and it was time to react.
Kotsuzui's own left arm swung in front of his face reflexively to block it. Just before Xyxer's fist came into with Kotsuzui's forearm, sharp bone spikes burst out all over Kotsuzui's chest, ribs, shoulder blades, and shoulders all the way down to his wrists. Basically everywhere from the hips up besides the head. If successful, Xyxer's fist would simultaneously get trapped within the bones on Kotsuzui's forearm as well as cutting up the ligaments and muscles around his fist. With his right arm, Kotsuzui would attempt to punch Xyxer's left elbow. The bones around Kotsuzui's right arm would pierce and slice the muscles and ligaments around Xyxer's elbow attempting to render his forearm and hand useless. If the hit landed, Kotsuzui would pull his right arm out of Xyxer's elbow and finish off by attempting to punch Xyxer's left rib cage. If successful the bones protruding from his right wrist would pierce Xyxer's left lungs. With Xyxer's left fist potentially stuck in Kotsuzui's bones, he was hoping it would increase the success rate of his strikes.

An opening had been made in reaction to his jab, one that was small to others but for those that honed their prowess in melee combat, it was formidable. The vision of Kotsuzui was obscured momentarily when he moved his left arm up towards his face in order to block Xyxer's strike. The issue with using his left arm to block the attack, that was coming from Xyxer's left arm, was that he'd temporarily blocked his vision of the bottom part of his vision with his forearm and bicep. Using this momentary distraction, Xyxer's own hand would reel in towards himself as the distraction had served it's purpose at the same time as the Mizukage's right leg extended into a kick towards the back of Kotsuzui's knee, intending to make either his leg break or to force him to buckle while his forearm continued to block the movement.
Moments after Xyxer's hand was pulled back towards himself from the snapping jab, he started to notice perforations in the skin of the male which quickly developed into sharp protrusions, threatening to impale Xyxer on their chunky calcium deposits. His kick had instantly became more dangerous, yet thankfully for him no spikes were in the path of his kick, but he kept his other knee bent just in case. Yet, for now, Xyxer would avoid the bones that pierced through the male.. yet they reminded him of something, or rather, someone. Xyxer had fought a man like this before back in Old Kirigakure.. that very man was capable of creating dragons from his bones, and what seemed like thousands upon thousands of spikes to litter the ground like a macabre graveyard. Was this man capable of the same feats? He was uncertain, nor did he truly care. He was simply taking his time for now as he played with the male, getting a feel for his confidence and fighting style.. and only then would he allow the game to end.

Kotsuzui was not expecting Xyxer to pull back on his punch. The Kage was baiting him and it worked. Kotsuzui was hoping the punch went through so that Xyxer would get caught in his protruding bones, but now he had to keep an eye out for another oncoming attack, which he nearly missed. Due to the positioning of his left arm, Kotsuzui missed the initial movement of Xyxer's lower body and swinging of his right foot. It was only once his leg and foot were fully extended and it entered the peripheral vision of the Kaguya did he notice the kick was coming. It was too late for him to full-out block the kick. All he could do now was take the kick and counter attack. Simultaneously, Kotsuzui hopped just about an inch off the ground with his right foot while his left knee bent inwards. By bending his knee it would soften the impact of the kick to the back of his leg. Once the kick collided and now that Kotsuzui was slightly off the ground, the Kaguya used his own strength along with the force of the kick to propel his lower body to the right as his upper body moved down towards the ground to the left.
Now being relatively parallel with the ground, Kotsuzui's left arm would move down planting itself into the mud on the outside of Xyxer's right kicking leg. His left arm would act as a kind of anchor along with three bones protruding from his wrist also entering into the ground. The other bones around his left arm would act to protect Xyxer from simply sweeping his arm and halting his attack. Using every muscle fiber in his core with the help from the momentum caused by the kick, Kotsuzui swung his own right leg up kicking the neck of Xyxer while his left leg remained off of the ground. Kotsuzui was hoping it would put Xyxer in a difficult situation due to the kick coming directly after his own low-knee kick. Although Kotsuzui's kick came swinging in with all his strength towards the Kage's neck, the kick itself was actually planned to be used as his own diversion. Once Xyxer reacted to the kick, either a block or dodge etc, the very instant his did so Kotsuzui shifted all four of his fingers on his right hand(excluding the thumb) to point towards Xyxer's chest. With his right arm free, it allowed him to freedom to move it accordingly in case Xyxer moved from his current position. Four finger bullets would fire off in an attempt to pierce straight through the center of the Kage's chest horizontally. If successful the four bullets would cause some severe internal damage, potentially to the lungs and/or heart. Depending what happened to Kotsuzui's kick, he would bring both his feet back down to the ground and pull his left arm out of the mud, now being in a kneeling position.
The bones protruding from Kotsuzui's body remained where they were, retracting the ones coming from just above his hips as he moved to avoid stabbing himself.

Xyxer noticed that Kotsuzui bent his knee inwards to brace for the kick, which was an interesting move on his part. Perhaps he truly did practice Taijutsu, maybe even specialising in the craft. Had he intended to end the game before it could begin, now would be the time for Xyxer to angle his kick downwards into the top of his calf and cause the shin of the male to snap.. but he'd kept the creature entertained enough for him to skip such an action and instead continue to kick the back of his knee which had been turned. His foot proceeded to drag backwards across the soil just as Kotsuzui had begun his ascent, avoiding the spikes that protruded from him still. His counter was an interesting one to say the least.
Kotsuzui used one hand to plant himself in the ground, just after his own leg had returned to it's position, which wasn't the smart choice Xyxer had to say; the ground was too muddy to allow for a sturdy base with only one hand with the rest of his body in motion, but regardless, it was not time to lecture the male on his melee combat. His own legs avoided the spikes that continued to escape Kotsuzui's body by shifting backwards slightly if needed. If Xyxer truly wanted to, he could simply forego his limb and slam his elbow directly into the male's weightless, bony body. Sure, he'd have a damaged arm, but the boy would die and he could heal the damage afterward. Yet, that was not to be his fate. Xyxer wanted to enjoy this one. It was his right for allowing the boy the mercy of a second chance.
His opponent's right leg came down towards his neck, and it was clear what the boy intended to do. Did he think he was having a fucking capoeira class? Just as the leg had begun it's descent, Xyxer took two short steps backwards so that he'd avoid the kick for now. His own hands reached up as the leg continued it's intended kick, loosely impacting the boy's calf on the sides, keeping the foot itself away from his head. Once he'd grabbed the leg, he'd take a series of steps backwards once more in order to pull the boy off from his hand and drag him through the mud. Of course, during this action and just after he'd seized the leg, Kotsuzui attempted to shoot him; another precarious thing given that Xyxer could shoot bullets himself, albeit of water. The short distance made any proper reaction difficult, but it was fortunate that Xyxer had a leg right here, most likely, to use as a shield. The Leviathan shifted his entire body sharply to the side as he pulled on the boy's leg, moving his body safely away from the series of bullets without being touched, while simultaneously putting the boy's own calf directly in their path. Three would pierce his calf, with the other shattering his knee unless he could find a way out of the precarious situation. Of course, if Xyxer was unable to grab his leg for whatever reason, he'd still move to the side after the bullets were shot in order to avoid them.
If Xyxer had been capable of grabbing his leg, he'd now yank on his leg once more to pull him across the ground with his face down, yet not allowing enough space for him to roll directly under himself. Once that was done, with the male being forced off balance due to the sudden movement, Xyxer would proceed to slam his foot down onto the back of the male's lower thigh so that he could snap the bone in his leg. Maiming always brought pleasure to the man that threatened to bring about a new era for Konoha. If he had failed, he'd probably just send a kick towards the male's leg.

As expected Kotsuzui's kick was dealt with, Xyxer falling for the feint. Well, sort of. He easily avoided the kick by moving back a couple of steps while grabbing onto Kotsuzui's calf. At this moment the Kaguya was almost certain he had Xyxer. That all changed the moment Xyxer began pulling onto the Kaguya's leg, pulling his hand from the mud as well as the bones around his wrist being yanked out of the ground. Even though the Kaguya had no control of his own body now, he proceeded with his next move thinking he could still catch the Kage off guard. He was wrong. Xyxer was quick enough to react to the bullet by stepping aside which would have evaded them all, but also pulled Kotsuzui's own leg in hand to intercept the four bullets. Had the bullet's been faster, Kotsuzui would have probably wrecked up his own leg. The bullets came into contact with Kotsuzui's pant leg. However, before they had the opportunity to break the skin and hit flesh, the Kaguya had completely vanished from his location and the grip of Xyxer. Luckily for Xyxer he had moved aside anyways, thus the bullets were shot past him towards the sky avoiding everyone.
Kotsuzui reappeared about five meters behind Xyxer, putting Risako and Hikari to Kotsuzui's back as well as Risako's sword just a couple of meters or so behind himself. When he reappeared he did so in the same orientation he had been in before he used the teleport, being dragged. He quickly regained his balance by placing his left hand down onto the mud while bringing his own feet under him, now finding himself in a crouched position while his right hand reached behind his head. At this moment all the bones protruding from himself began making their way back into his body, leaving his shirt and cloak riddled with holes. The short stint he just had with the Mizukage informed Kotsuzui that the man was extremely skilled in close-quarters combat. Likely out of Kotsuzui's league even though he himself specialized in taijutsu. He could tell Xyxer was going easy on him, enjoying his game a little more before he turned the switch and decided to end it. It was the reason why his teleport took him five meters away from Xyxer. Create a small amount of distance to get in his attack, but just in case it failed he could always close the gap to engage him once more.
With the right hand reaching behind his head, it almost looked like the Kaguya was reaching for a weapon strapped onto his back. Although he was reaching for a weapon, the weapon wasn't strapped to his back. The weapon was literally coming from his back. "Enough games" Kotsuzui spoke as he simultaneously pulled his own spinal column out from his back while whipping the whip-like weapon towards Xyxer's left side. The moment he whipped his spine he also stood back up to his full height. The bone weapon would collide just above Xyxer's elbow. If successful, the spine would extend itself a bit more while wrapping around the body of Xyxer. The weapon would wrap itself around the Kage several times over, stopping just around his wrists in an attempt to restrain his movements.
When Kotsuzui spoke, he wasn't just talking to Xyxer and telling him to stop playing games. He was also speaking to himself. It was time for him to step his own game up and give everything he had to the blood thirsty Kage. With a sudden yank, Kotsuzui pulled on his spine in order to pull Xyxer about a meter closer while reaching into his pouch with his left hand. The yank itself wasn't just meant to pull Xyxer closer, it was meant to throw him off balance. The moment he would be taking his steps forward, Kotsuzui pulled his left arm out while releasing a single kunai aimed just in between the eyes of the Kage. If the initial attempt at constricting Xyxer with the spine missed, then just like a whip Kotsuzui would pull the weapon back to his side and re-evaluate his situation depending on Xyxer's actions. Being able to keep his spine like a whip or harden it into a type of sword gave the Kaguya a number of possible actions to go with.

Just as the bullets came through, the hands of Xyxer felt lighter, and that was probably because he'd just encountered a teleporter. Just his luck. He heard the slight impact on the mud behind himself, so the Mizukage twisted his body around before facing the male fully once more, with his body still in the same position as before. Perfect. He could still punt him in the head! He watched the male as he changed his stance into a crouch, reaching over his shoulder and head as if he was simply going to pull a weapon out. That was an action Xyxer was familiar with time and time again, granted, most people actually had a weapon to utilize when they performed such an action. Ah, right, this was a teleporting Kaguya. Terrific.
If everything had remained like that, with no words exchanged, perhaps Xyxer would have went around his course of actions differently.. but what Kotsuzui said forced him to act differently. Xyxer didn't believe he himself was being addressed, because despite playing the game he had been in no immediate danger unlike his counterpart, and nobody wished to die quicker.. at least, in his mind. Kotsuzui.. wasn't taking this serious? He was acting like this was a mere game, with no real consequences? Well, that just wouldn't do.
Xyxer immediately started walking towards the Kaguya, who had just begun pulling out his own spinal cord. The boy was moving much faster than before, so it was clear he'd be much more of a speedster than before. Good, he wasn't going to be a petty observer watching himself get a beat down. Xyxer closed roughly a meter towards the boy, leaving a 4 meter gap before the danger of the whip became evident. His grey eyes scanned over the whip that came towards him, and during a passing moment he thought about how similar the weapon was to his own esteemed blade, Tidebreaker. The closer Xyxer remained, the more difficult it would be for the boy to use the whip effectively without harming himself in the process. That was the name of the game at the moment. The whip came towards him at an alarming pace, becoming almost indistinguishable to his naked eye, yet it was there and he could track it for now. The whip came from Kotsuzui's right side, so it only made sense to dash in that direction, so that was what Xyxer did. He pushed off from the ground just as the whip came about half way to it's destination which was himself, ducking under the whip if he had to in order to secure his place at the right side of Kotsuzui. He'd continue to dash in that direction while weaving under or around the whip if need be, intending to get beside the body of the one that thought he was playing a game.
At this point, he'd speak plainly to the male, still carrying the same lack of humanity in his tone, "If you aren't going to give it your best, why dont you just lie down and die?" Xyxer suggested, in some faint hope of having the male put effort into his attacks. he wanted this murder to be the most brutal.. the one that would make Konohagakure understand their position in the events in to come, and Kotsuzui would be a great focal point in achieving such an understanding. Of course, at this point, if Xyxer had got close enough to the male he'd throw a hook with his right hand aimed at the left side ribcage of Kotsuzui, intending to cripple his side.
