Fiery Wave, Ebbing Flame

Atarashī has been shaken by all of the recent events. Anyone who paid enough attention would notice the he was shaking ever so slightly and his eyes where just a bit bloodshot, not to mention the shallow cuts in his hand that look like they were inflicted to cause as much pain as possible without causing the hand to bleed. He looked like he was about to snap at any moment, but based on the cuts on his hand you don't know how he would snap. The fact that he'd made it this far was surprising. He doesn't look like much, even though he's earned his genin headband. It's uncertain if he's good or just met the requirements for obtaining the rank of Genin. In spite of his uncertain mental state he seems to still be able to observe his surroundings. His eyes are continuously darting around, as if he's expecting something that might make him crack. He calms down a bit as the conversation goes on and goes from scared and about to break down to cautious and sad. It's safe to assume that a large part of his apparent psychosis was the shock of the attack. He seems stable enough though. After Atarashī makes his less than stellar arrival onto the scene he looks at the Chuunin first, immediately recognizing her eyes as a mark that she's a member of the Hyuuga clan. He opens his mouth but says nothing, as if he had questions, but knew that know wasn't the best time to ask them. it's at this moment that it becomes hard to tell how he will react. His composure is very fearful and reserved while his minor motions are fairly animated. After the Chuunin says "My name is Love Sakumo but you can call me Ai-sama." Atarashī perks up a small bit, and seems less skittish. The smile she gave gives Atarashī a little bit of calm to help his addled psyche. Ai-sama's statement that "I can help all of you." further reassures Atarashī's uneasy mental state. When Ai-sama says "I don't have any information on the current status of the attack and there's no way to know without going down there." Atarashī's face drops a little. He had hoped for any kind of news and the thought that no one knew what was going on was a bit disheartening. Atarashī starts to wonder what will happen and where you will go but be fore he can finish the thought Ai-sama says "We're going to have to leave the country." and a little bit afterwards she says "I have a ...friend in River country. So we'll go there." and that puts Atarashī on edge a little bit. The way she said friend made him think more of a less than pleasant acquaintance than a friend, at the best. To say that Atarashī was dubious of her relationship with this supposed friend would be a grave understatement. All of the information she was giving them at once was just a little bit jarring to Atarashī's mind. Over all, at this point he was a bit less twitchy than when he first arrived, but he was still rather shaken. Atarashī looks over to the other people here. He first notices the other Hyuuga clan member. He gives the kid a look over and internalizes everything he can. He notices that the Hyuuga member wasn't even a genin yet and had no weapons on him. He thought about giving him a weapon but decided to do it later when they weren't talking so he wouldn't be interrupting them. He didn't want to make them made at him, especially this early. He had a mini panic attack as his train of thought runs through all of the possible way he could piss them off and they would get mad at him. His hand grips onto a kunai and he starts hovering it over his hand. He doesn't hurt himself because he doesn't want to ruin everyone else's focus. He returns to reality and keeps looking over the Hyuuga clan student. He notices that they're similar in many ways. He has a thought about body doubles but he stops and mentally punishes himself when he remembers that the eyes would be a dead giveaway. He looks over the other student but there's not much for physical eye catchers. He looks normal and Atarashī doesn't know what to make of him. When Atarashī hear someone approach he fakes examining his Kunai and uses it to see someone behind them. He turns as the person coughs and it seems like he's reacting to the cough. He's on his guard even after he sees the headband. When Ai-sama says "I'm going to do a quick perimeter sweep before we go to make sure the coast is clear. Don't move. Number three make sure they don't try anything." and Atarashī realizes that she's talking about him he starts panicking. He's never been in charge before and has no idea what to do. [Atarashī] "U-um, please keep an eye out just in case." When Ai-sama comes back Atarashī breathes a sigh of relief. Atarashī sees the not Hyuuga looking very judgmental as if he were thinking about some kind of prejudice. He then sees the not Hyuuga start looking at him. You see a Senju clan crest on his clothing. He then sees you talking to a bunny and starts wondering about your sanity. As soon as Ai-sama starts heading towards the River country Atarashī follows her and the rest of the group. When the not Hyuuga says "Please lead the way Ai-Sensei!" Atarashī backs off a little, thinking he may have intruded onto something he shouldn't have, but he still followed.

The effect of the tunnels only heightened the distressed and helpless feeling that was all that Satomi could feel. The air was felt suffocating inside the tunnel, however after running for so long Sato begin to grasp for air that felt like it was not there. What was happening to his village? Why would the another village attack them? He couldn't stand to see his village fall, but he was weak now. There was absolutely nothing he could do stop it from happening. His eyes were full of anger and sorrow as he hurried through the endless tunnel occasionally hitting against the wall. He had lost everything that was dear to him in single day.

Where would he go now? His family had been lost to chaos in the village. His parents and his elder brother all Shinobi would all fight to the death to protect their home and would make sure he survived. They told him he would be important to the Senju bloodline. That he would restore their place and honor amongst the greatest shinobi clan in the world. It was probably their dying wish, for how everything was turning out. It did not seem like they would survive the encounter with the enemy shinobi.

Sato didn't know how long he ran and stopped to catch his breath. Praying that the enemy did not find the tunnel used to escape the carnage. Soon however there was a light, safety gave renewed vigor and burst forward to the tunnel exit. As he fled out he was met with group of Leaf Shinobi also fleeing the war. Genin and citizens alike.

The young Senju had been met with a Chuunin leading a group of Leaf ninja away from the battle. She preferred to be referred as Ai-sama, Sato nodded vehemently. She was there only hope, perhaps she knew the way. Ai-sama continued by saying ,"I can help all of you. We're going to have to leave the country. I don't have any information on the current status of the attack and there's no way to know without going down there.

Obviously we can't do that without being killed or captured, so for now we retreat. Should Konoha be victorious we'll hear about it in no time. You may or may not be aware but our only ally Sunagakure was taken over by Kumogakure. I've heard rumor of a budding ninja village in the north but for now, we're on our own."

It sounded like a plan to Satomi, he didn't know anyone or what to do, his best choice was whatever she decided, there he'll get his head cleared. Apparently the world states of affairs was unbeknownst to him. It seemed that Sunagakure had been laid siege too, and was now in control of Kumogakure. Once allies could no longer be relied on in this desperate time of need.

He could feel the desperation filling up inside of him. How could they escape these ninja who will eventually come looking for runaways. Where could they go? Dread. They would have to kill to survive. He had never killed anyone and though he was ready for it, the idea still seemed daunting that it would have to be so soon. So sudden. To survive he would have to take another life for he sure they would have no problem taking his.

"I have a ...friend in River country. So we'll go there," Ai-sama finished.

The Senju lifted his head up quickly. The River Country? He had never really heard anything except for a few things about the River Country from his parents before. He knew however it was a long journey away. Would the people there be tolerant with them. He looked different than most with his darker skin complexion, so at times he caught eyes. It was not as bad he heard in the Earth Country. Would they fear him because he belonged to the Senju clan of the great Konohagakure? He wasn't sure what they would encounter.

But he was willing to bet that it would be better than here at the moment. But what "I'll follow you," Sato said stepping forward with the others. It seemed everyone was indeed willing to follow her in light of the tragedy befalling them. Ai-sama left quickly to check the area to see if it was clear for them to travel. She returned even faster after scouting ahead.

"Alright, the everything checks out. No one is looking for Kono runaways as of yet, so now's our best chance to jet. I hope you've all peed because we won't be making any stops."

With that the shinobi before him begun to become more acquainted with each other. They knew nothing about each other and only just met. They would be spending a lot more time together if they were to flee to the River Counry. Sato looked back one final time at his birth home.

Explosions and screams from the fight could be heard. It was damning sound. He would return back here to bring the peace it had when he was born. Where he one day lay his head when he dies of old age. He would return. But for now, he had to go to the River country to figure out their next move.

There was no belongings there was nothing he had to take with him mostly everything he had was at his home within the city. He shook his head. Adana had been around him when it happened. A childhood friend he always had a slight crush on. However they were separated with the consuming giant fleeing crowd. He already knew what he must do. He had to get much stronger. He had to find his brother and his parents and they would in turn help him find Adana. Family first as always.

Sato had to discard the idea that they were dead. Such a thought was an insult to their memory and what he knew their skills to be. The Senju would simply have to find them in secret, and if he knew his brother. He would stop at nothing to find him and bring him to safety. But that won't be for a long time....a very long time.
