Thor awoke from his slumber on his grimy couch and got up. He grabbed his ring and flak jacket he left the rest of his weaponry. He walked down the street grabbing a waffle cone for breakfast. It might not be the healthiest thing but it was delicious. He ran to the trading grounds hoping to find a member of his team. Preferably the leader. He arrived and there were people there funin in’s Thor’s plans or arriving first.

He sat down and munched on the cone enjoying the cherry ice cream. While sitting under a willow tree. Swaying with the tree Thor sat there. Humming a little song. Hmmm hmm hm do diddy do.

The day was off to a good start. His mother dropped by to see him at the earth dojo, talking and being there to talk to just as any good parent should. It was refreshing, and in this, his morning routine was completed by the time the masters were coming out to begin meditation with the students. Today, Miyamoto wanted to go and train to keep his form up to date and to try and study more about the mark he received from Hikari not even a week ago. His neck still burned as he thought about it.

The wind was slight, but the bite it held was like that of a beast that could cut down any man. It made Miyamoto think of how his home village of Amegakure might be faring this time of the year. With a quick jaunt he would arrive to the village training grounds. He found the training dummies as usual before walking up to them. Taking off his jacket he would drape it over the dummy before getting into stance. Without a sound or even a warning he would begin working his martial arts forms like clockwork. It was second nature to him at this point in his life, even without much actual combat with other shinobi he found that he excelled at least in hand to hand combat. He perfected that if he were to fight an opponent, that he know what and who his opponent is and can do. He remained silent save for the occasional sharp exhale of air.

Thor saw his team leader and was very happy, the boy hadn’t ever had much chance to train alone with him. Thor started to concentrate on what he needed to learn. He had been lacking in medical jutsu and attack techniques. He started to decide what he would train. Then he knew what he should do. Thor extended his arm towards miamoto. Using his hazy genjutsu on him. When he realized what was happening Thor would release it and walk up. “Hey come here often”. Using the pickup line he had heard in late night bars as ironically as possible.

Then sit down next to him and start to speak.”How’s it going”. Closing his eyes while he spoke. He started to meditate concentrating chakra into his hands. Causing them to glow a nice green color. Then he would punch at the air. Breathing out in and out. Causing streaks of green to follow behind them. Then he started to wonder “Miamoto you know so many jutsu can you teach me some.” Then open his eyes and look towards miamoto hopefully.

If he said yes Thor would listen and do what he wants. Trying to keep up with the powerful ninja. 

If he said no Thor would continue his punching but with a tree this time. Punching the tree and slightly injuring himself. Then heal them before punching again and agin into the iron wood tree.

The genjutsu took hold quickly, but it was not enough to catch him off guard. If someone wanted a fight, that was the easiest way to grab his attention. A quick Tiger seal and a second later the genjutsu would vanish as if nothing happened, revealing the one that was called Thor, the third in the team that he formed with Tsume and Satoru. He had not trained with this genin yet, but it seemed that the shinobi was trying rather hard to get his attention. So with a sigh, Miyamoto would finish his forms before finally grabbing his jacket and looking at Thor.

"You wish to learn, but you have not yet proven your worth," Miyamoto said, it seemed cold, but the Chuunin knew power when it was in front of him. The genin had some sort of worth, that was evident in the fire they were able to contain the week before. "If you wish to learn, then let us see if you can snatch the jacket out of my hands. Then I will teach you what you wish to learn." He finished as he held the jacket in his left hand, not outstretched, but not completely guarded either.

He stood there and yawned from being tired which was odd at this time of the day, he should be full of energy. After his yawn, the wind would blow almost like an ominous sign that this was going to be a lot more difficult then just simply grabbing a jacket.

Thor was suprised at the mans greeting. It seemed harsh almost unnecessary. Why be mean to a young man. He merely laughed it off” Well aren’t we feisty”. Then the jacket challenge was issued. He thought for a moment. “But why, I’m not a Taijutsu user I’m just a medical ninja.” Then look down defeatedly. And smirk. The man wouldn’t see any of this though. He pumped a small amount of chakra into his ring and it shot out at a speed of 35ish (I think i can do the math if you truly need me to) then he jabbed it as fast as he could into the jacket. It it went through he would stretch his arm out to grab the front of the blade and pull the jacket towards him. If he missed Thor would jump back as fast as he could.(about 30ish again) and eye the man. Then collapse his ring and sit down. 

Then start back with his medical training, breathing in and out with each punch. The green aura covering his hands. Punching in and out missing everything almost oblivious to the person he had just been sparing with. Thor didn’t want a fight he wanted to be happy. And fighting without a cause gave him no joy. It was more thoughtless anger anger that he didn’t want or need in his life. “I don’t want to fight you, you can take that outburst how you will. I try to avoid fights I know I can’t win. A fight with no purpose is like noodles without soup. There is no heart in it.”

Miyamoto watched as the man made his attempt at snatching his jacket. He was moving fairly easily and fast, but still, he lacked in surprise, and as such, it was easy to remove the jacket from the equation. He watched as Thor sat down looking a bit distraught for a moment before beginning to breathe and then as he spoke Miyamoto would walk up with his jacket back on his head. The speech of the man was by far the most apathetic line he had heard from a shinobi since he arrived in Hoshigakure.

"You will never grow if you cannot find a step to first climb over," He began as he sighed "So what is your purpose, your shinobi way? What do you specialize in, I have yet to look over your file, but I have yet to figure out where to place you on the team." He finished finally as sat in front of him. To the untrained eye, it would look like an adult being scolded by a teenager, quite comical in a way.
"If you can tell me what you would like to train into, I will do my best to teach you or point you in the right direction. However, do not ever be afraid of conflict, it only stunts your growth." He said before flicking the man in his forehead as a sign of master teaching his student, which again was funny because of their individual sizes. He would wait for a few moments before pulling a kunai from his weapons pouch, he would begin to twirl it in his hands.

The man said a line about stairs or some crap. Thor merely laughed on the inside at his boring attempt at a life lesson. “While on the stairway of life taking leaps upward will just result in you taking a tumble. But slowly strolling up the stairs will result in a steady accent.” Then flash him a slight smile. 

“I am currently specialized in medical ninjutsu. I also have a slight nack for weaponry and earth ninjutsu.” Then he would pull out a piece of wire. Tying the wire into a slip knot. Repeatedly wile the man spoke. Then Thor was flicked in the forehead. He began wondering what he should do. Thor isn’t able to beat him in the slightest. Meh he thought then Thor stood up towering over the younger man.“Hey that isn’t very nice.” Then sit back down. Thor didn’t care at that moment he was just a leaf in the stream or a flower in the wind. Thor was apathetic towards his chunin leader. What was The purpose of this.

Then pulled out a Christmas cracker and opened it

After listening to Thor and watching his following actions did Miyamoto sigh, then laugh happily. It brought him great humor to see such a lazy shinobi, even if it angered him in some ways. "You have some guts to just be lazy like that, especially in this world. How about I teach you how to keep enemies at bay, or a perhaps even a way to stop your enemies with the earth itself, maybe even show you how to actually mold the earth into gauntlets to protect your hands from harm. If those don't interest you and you would rather work on medical techniques, however, I have a few I am looking to learn, or even perhaps teach if you want in." He would say before pulling out an old headband that looked like it belonged in a museum and he would stare at it with a look of admiration and pride.

"Let me know if I can help you, Thor, I am not only the leader of the team, but I have been a teacher as well, even sometimes a student, there is no shame in continuing your journey with the help of others." He would finish saying before going to the training dummy and activating the Rock Fist technique he would move to strike the dummy a few times until it actually splintered and fell to the ground with a defeated *Thud*
